U.S. says China realizes limited time to negotiate with North Korea

China has realized it has limited time to rein in North Korea's nuclear program through negotiations and is open to further sanctions against Pyongyang, a senior U.S. State Department official said on Friday.

Susan Thornton, the acting assistant secretary for east Asian and Pacific affairs told a news briefing in Beijing that China understood that the U.S. viewed the North Korea situation as an urgent "time-limited problem set".

"So they know now that they don't have, I think, as much time to try to bring the North Koreans to the table to get their calculus changed and get them to the negotiating table," she said. "And I think that has lent some urgency to their measures."

Pyongyang has conducted dozens of missile tests, the most recent last Sunday, and tested two nuclear bombs since the start of 2016, in defiance of U.N. Security Council resolutions. It says the program is necessary to counter U.S. aggression.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation; China, and the world, are being groomed by the US government for a US pre-emptive strike against North Korea.

There have been credible sources indicating that Chinese President Zi Jinping, upon visiting Mar-A-Largo in April, asked President Trump for 100 days to get the problem sorted with North Korea.

Report: Xi Jinping asked for '100-day grace period' on North Korea

The end of that 100 days comes roughly at the end of next month; and June starts this coming Thursday.

The question of whether President Xi will get his 100 days rests very squarely on the degree to which he can persuade Kim Jung Un not to continue his missile and nuclear tests before that time has ended.

And yesterday, the US military has just sent a 3rd carrier group to the Korean Peninsula:

US military sending a 3rd carrier group to the North Korean peninsula

It looks like the excrement is about to hit the ventilation system on the North Korean peninsula; I hope to heck I am wrong on this, but the continued movement of personnel and materials into this region bode ill for any substantive peace talks getting held in order to ratchet down tensions here.

MANCHESTER BOMBER MAY HAVE BEEN GROOMED BY UK INTELLIGENCEWS

As the worst terrorist attack to hit the United Kingdom since 2005, last week’s bombing of a concert in Manchester has since been a constant fixture of the news cycle both in the UK and abroad. bsent from mainstream media accounts of the event – and the man allegedly behind it – are several key coincidences that have raised concerns, particularly regarding links between British intelligence and the alleged suicide bomber, British-born Salman Abedi.

Absent from mainstream media accounts of the event, however – and the man allegedly behind it – are several key coincidences that have raised concerns, particularly regarding links between British intelligence and the alleged suicide bomber, British-born Salman Abedi.

Media reports have already established that Abedi, a Libyan national, was radicalized in the hotbed of radical extremism that Libya has become since the U.S.-NATO backed invasion that ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

Hillary Clinton Lashes Out at Press and ‘Sexism’ for 2016 Loss, Claims She Beat Trump

In an interview for an article by New York Magazine published Friday, Clinton has apparently moved past “gracious Hillary” and “relaxed in the woods Hillary” and has now moved into “angry Hillary” mode.

“I would have won had I not been subjected to the unprecedented attacks by [former FBI Director James] Comey and the Russians, aided and abetted by the suppression of the vote, particularly in Wisconsin,” she complains, adding voter suppression to her normal narrative blaming Russia/Comey.

Clinton resurrected the Russia/Comey excuse in an interview earlier this month with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour when she also called herself “part of the resistance” and claimed, “If the election had been on October 27, I would be your president.” But now she is taking it to the next level.

New US Sanctions Go Well Beyond the Boundaries of International Law

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted Thursday to impose new sanctions against Iran over its missile defense program and support for resistance groups that are fighting ISIL and Al-Qaeda.

Some Democrats and the former Obama administration officials have warned that the new actions could jeopardize the landmark nuclear deal struck with Tehran. The committee’s Republican chairman, Sen. Bob Corker of Tennessee, however, claims that the new sanctions would have no impact on the nuclear deal, which he opposed.

The bipartisan bill, which now has 48 Senate co-sponsors, imposes mandatory sanctions on people involved with Iran’s ballistic missile program and those who do business with them. It also applies alleged terrorism sanctions to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and enforces an arms embargo.

Your Daily Dose of BOOGA BOOGA! North Korean satellites 'in ideal position' for EMP attack to take down aeroplanes

THERE are growing concerns among US politicians that the North Koreans have the capability to launch a devastating EMP attack that would wipe out the American financial system and transport network.

North Korea has satellites perfectly positioned above the US that could be used to launch an unprecedented attack on the country.

The communist dictatorship also has two satellites positioned in an "ideal altitude" above the US to cause irreparable damage to the country's financial system.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"North Korea has satellites perfectly positioned above the US that could be used to launch an unprecedented attack on the country???????"

Folks, satellites at the "ideal altitude above the US to cause irreparable damage to the country's financial system. " don't stay over one part of the globe. They orbit constantly.

It takes at least a megaton detonation to produce EMP, and North Korea's largest nuclear test to date is just ten kilotons.

Are they telegraphing a false-flag attack to be blamed on North Korea?

Aide: Trump Won’t Roll Back US Sanctions Against Russia

Top White House adviser Gary Cohn today insisted that President Trump no longer intends to make any efforts to roll back US sanctions against Russia, and that “if anything, we would probably look to get tougher on Russia” in the future.

The Trump Administration has struggled with consistency on its Russia policy, as Trump campaigned very openly on diplomatic rapprochement in 2016, with expectations of rolling back the excesses of Obama’s sanctions. After the election he started talking about wanting some sort of concessions, though these too were eventually abandoned.

Facing political opposition to any improved relationship with Russia, Cohn’s comments are in keeping with other recent reports out of the administration, which vowed to keep the sanctions in place unless Russia gave up Crimea, and made other major moves they clearly would not have any intention of making.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Apparently, that well-enshrined tenant of the UN Charter , called "peaceful self-determination" (which is what Crimea did, post-Ukrainian putsch) does not apply to Crimea, which left the Ukraine, peacefully, and held a second referendum to determine if the Crimean people wanted to join the Russian Federation, which they did, and then petitioned to join the Russian Federation, which they wanted to do.

Russia in no way "annexed" Crimea; the Crimean government understood, post-Putsch, that there was no legitimate representation in Kiev whatsoever, when it made these moves.

Internet providers have backdoor access to customers' modems

A back door has been built into modems sent to customers of major internet service providers allowing the companies' staff to access settings and potentially create a security hole.

The discovery alarmed a computer expert who contacted the Herald, saying the remote access could provide a pathway to the contents of people's computers by employees of the company.

Vodafone is not the only major ISP with a "back door" into its modems - Spark has confirmed it also has built-in "remote access" in modems it supplies to customers.

...

While the Vodafone support person was able to remotely access and change settings in an effort to fix the problem, the capacity for the back door to be exploited by a rogue company employee was concerning.

He said the access was managed through sending a line of code to the modem which then reset it and allowed access by entering a generic password.

Seth Rich Equals Vince Foster?

To tell you the truth, following the story of Seth Rich, the young staffer for the Democratic National Committee who was murdered on July 10, 2016, on a Washington, DC, street while returning home from a bar, I had not thought to compare the incident to the violent July 20, 1993, death of Deputy White House Counsel Vincent W. Foster, Jr. After all, Foster was a much more prominent figure and the claim in his case was that he had committed suicide. The closest parallel that quickly came to my mind was that of Mary Caitrin “Caity” Mahoney, the young former Clinton White House intern shot to death in 1997 along with two other employees of a Starbucks in Georgetown. That incident was also called a “botched robbery” because no money or valuables were taken.

The death of a Navy SEAL reveals US mission creep in Somalia

It hasn't happened since the infamous Black Hawk Down battle in 1993.

Last month, a US soldier was shot and killed fighting in Somalia. Reports indicate the Navy SEAL was serving alongside his Somali counterparts — not advising from the operating base — as they battled al-Shabab militants.

New York Times correspondent Jeffrey Gettleman has covered Somalia for more than a decade, and writes about it in his new book, “Love, Africa: A Memoir of Romance, War, and Survival.”

Gettleman is skeptical of Washington's official explanation that dozens, perhaps hundreds of US soldiers are in Somalia simply to offer advice.

"Many of us suspect this is not simply advise and assist, that American troops are fighting toe-to-toe with al-Shabab militants," he explains. "The fact that a Navy SEAL was just killed in combat in a spray of bullets fired at a vehicle pretty much confirms what we had always suspected."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Our military are obviously not in Somalia as "advisors"; they are there as soldiers, fighting Al-Shabab militants.

And why is the US military in Somalia?!?

Here...is the answer.
Somali natural resources

The tired cycle repeats; regime change the government to one which is western-centric; expropriate that country's resources to which the US government and its corporate minions have absolutely no moral right; and insure that those resources are only sold in US dollars.

This is why the US military is in Somalia, period, end of discussion.

Bipartisan War Authorization Bill Would Make Trump '21st Century Version of King George III'

The 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force has been used to justify military strikes around the world – dubiously, in the opinion of many legal scholars.

In their place, the new legislation would allow military action against the Taliban, al-Qaida and the Islamic State group, commonly known as ISIS, along with “associated groups,” specifically including Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (formerly the al-Qaida-affiliated Nusra Front), the so-called Khorasan Group, al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula and al-Shabab.

Military action would be allowed in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Libya and Yemen.

If the president wanted to take military action against additional associated groups or inside countries not specifically named, he would have to notify Congress, which would then have the option of passing a motion of disapproval.

The new war authorization would expire in five years unless it's renewed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The problem with the way this bill is worded is that it is extra-Constitutional and a rubber stamp for more undeclared wars, because, according to the Constitution, only Congress has the power to declare war.

Voter Fraud Federal Investigator Found Murdered

A federal prosecutor involved in the investigation of voter fraud connected to the DNC was found dead on a Miami beach on Wednesday.

According to reports, Beranton J. Whisenant Jr was discovered in the water by a passer-by on Hollywood Beach on Wednesday at 4.30am. His death bares striking similarities to the death of murdered DNC whistleblower Seth Rich.

The prosecutor had been shot in the head, according to police. Residents who spotted the body claim he had all of his personal effects on him when he was discovered, which rules out the likelihood of a robbery.

Whisenant worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Miami in its major crimes unit. He was investigating a mail theft case involving voter fraud.

US Is Killing More Civilians in Syria Air War Than Assad Is

Exemplified by the hundred and some odd people they’ve killed in the last 48 hours, the US is struggling mightily with the narrative that they are taking extraordinary care to limit the number of civilian casualties in the air war in Syria, and are rapidly losing any pretense of a moral high ground.

Indeed, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights is noting that the soaring death toll from US airstrikes has now surpassed the civilian toll of the Assad government’s own airstrikes, which the US and other Western nations have condemned as indiscriminate and irresponsible.

Oftentimes, US officials have been so outraged at Syria’s “indiscriminate” air strikes that they’ve demanded regime change, and has railed at Russia and Iran for tolerating their tactics in bombing civilian targets. Obviously, the US never sees the same problem with its own massive killings.

Ron Paul Issues Dire Warning: If Trump Disobeys The Deep State He Will End Up Like JFK

Former Congressman Ron Paul opined about President Trump’s alleged involvement with Russia. Paul equated Trump’s relationship with Russia to assassinated President John F. Kennedy’s attempts to extend the olive branch to the USSR, a move which got him killed, according to some.

Presumably in light of Thursday’s call for impeachment of the president by Representative Al Green (D-TX), and with the appointment of former FBI Director Robert Mueller as a special prosecutor to investigate dubious claims the president and his campaign colluded with Russia to undermine the election of 2016, Paul posted a message to Facebook, which reads:

Leader Of “Fight For $15” Movement Is Paid Almost $150,000 A Year By Powerful Union

The lead organizer for the “Fight for $15” movement isn’t an underpaid fast food worker, but rather a well-paid labor union activist.

JOHN PILGER: THE WHITE HELMETS ARE A “COMPLETE PROPAGANDA CONSTRUCT”

This was my email to John Pilger on the 27/9/2016. I have no idea if it had any influence upon the comments that Pilger made during his interview but the fact that such a respected and admired analyst has finally, publically exposed the White Helmets – as a primarily British-funded, propaganda, shadow state construct, engineered to facilitate intervention in Syria, should be a powerful ally for independent media in their efforts to reveal the pivotal aspects of the dirty war being waged against Syria.

“I am writing to you as a journalist who believes in all the values you have represented to them for the years they have followed you.

I have, for some time, been working to expose, alongside many others, the “Dirty War on Syria“. I have recently returned from a 4-week journey around Syria, visiting Aleppo and meeting with President Assad, as part of the US Peace Council Delegation. Three weeks of my trip were, however, as an independent journalist.

The True Cost of Israel

American aid to Israel is something like a pot of gold that keeps on giving. Both sides in the discussion would probably agree that the domestic Israel Lobby has been instrumental in sustaining the high level of aid ... Since the foundation of the state of Israel in 1948, it has been "the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II," according to the Congressional Research Service. The United States has provided Israel with $233.7 billion in adjusted for inflation aid between 1948 through the end of 2012, reports [the Israeli daily newspaper] Haaretz ... Israel also benefits in other ways, frequently due to legislative action by Congress ... The U.S.-Israel relationship is yet another instance where the perceived needs of an American "ally" take precedence over genuine national interests.

After the Confederates, Who’s Next?

For a century, Americans lived comfortably with the honoring, North and South, of the men who fought on both sides. But today's America is not the magnanimous country we grew up in. Since the '60s, there has arisen an ideology that holds that the Confederacy was the moral equivalent of Nazi Germany, and those who fought under its battle flag should be regarded as traitors or worse. Thus, in New Orleans, statues of Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederate States of America, and General Robert E. Lee were just pulled down ... Behind this remorseless drive to blast the greatest names from America's past off public buildings, and to tear down their statues and monuments, is an egalitarian extremism rooted in envy and hate.

BITCOIN Can Be Manipulated (and here's how)

I am all for Bitcoin investment as long as there is a strategy. This video, while a little extreme and theatrical, shows the weak points in Bitcoin's design which could be (and are likely already being) exploited by the government and the institutional players. In short: Bitcoin can be easily smashed down at the push of a button.

Bitcoin price behaves like gold and silver should be behaving if not for the institutional manipulations via derivatives fraud. Since it is a virtual asset, my strategy is to buy, take modest profits, and convert to physical metals and other hard assets such as ammo and food (at the risk of sounding like a prepper).

Just like fiat, there's a good chance cryptocurrencies won't be worth much if the economy falls too hard. Then again, the government would probably confiscate and/or de-merchandise metals and inflate dollars, so an alternative strategy diversified with cryptos is a good idea.

Serco loses millions after losing Mt Eden contract in wake of "fight clubs"

Serco lost $10.5 million last year as a result of losing the Mt Eden Prison contract when evidence of "fight clubs" emerged.

The company's Annual Financial Report for 2016 that was filed with the Companies Office showed Serco New Zealand's revenue for 2016 was $52m, down 19 per cent from $64m in 2015.

Its finances were hit with the loss of the Mt Eden contract, lower revenues and higher staff costs.

Serco is a British outsourcing company that is contracted to manage Auckland South Corrections Facility.

It lost the right to run Mt Eden Correctional Facility in 2015 after controversial management was revealed.

A 2016 report revealed weekly "fight clubs", "freely available" drugs and cellphones smuggled in by prison staff, and negligent guards who may have missed violent behaviour because they were playing table tennis and pool within the jail.

Dr defends storming film he has never seen (Vaxxed)

It has been criticised widely as being short of scientific evidence and based on sources which have been discredited.

"I haven't bothered to look at it, I don't need to," Dr O'Sullivan said.

After a dizzying week of unsubstantiated claims and anonymous rumors, it’s time to look at what we actually know about Seth Rich’s murder.

On Tuesday May 16, Fox5 in Washington D.C. released a report claiming that Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich was in contact with WikiLeaks prior to his murder in July 2016. The report claimed a private investigator hired by Rich’s family has found tangible evidence of a connection to Rich and WikiLeaks. According to D.C. police, Rich was shot twice in the back as part of a botched robbery in D.C.’s Bloomingdale neighborhood.
