227 boxes of missing Lynette White documents found in police warehouse

A fresh scandal has erupted over the murder of Cardiff prostitute Lynette White 26 years ago with our revelation today that 227 boxes of missing legal documents relating to a police corruption case which sensationally collapsed have been discovered in a warehouse.

Documents seen by WalesOnline indicate that a retired police officer tipped off the chief inspector of Her Majesty’s Crown Prosecution Inspectorate that the boxes were being stored in a police warehouse at RAF St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan – and that two of the documents should have been disclosed during the trial of eight former detectives and two civilians accused of conspiring to get innocent men convicted of Ms White’s murder.
