PARIS ON FIRE: Riots reach capital's centre - buildings set ablaze and police attacked

And Officers were forced to unleash tear-gas on angry crowds as buildings and rubbish bins were set on fire around the Barbes Metro station, which is just around the corner from the Eurostar hub at Gare du Nord.

As fire crews went in to extinguish the blazes, lines of riot police were attacked, and shops were looted.

A policeman at the scene said: “Windows have been smashed and officers attacked.

“Small groups of protestors wearing hoods to hide their identities are causing trouble and then running away.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These riots - most generally caused by immigrants - even if they do not continue, are almost certain to guarantee the election of Marine Le Pen to the office of French President.

That Soros didn't see this coming in France, no matter how he tries to "paper over" the violence, is a massive failure of imagination on his part, and demonstrates that he is slipping, mentally.

Initial ballots will be cast on 23 April of this year, with a run-off between the two candidates who have won the most ballots on the 7th of May.

Short of an outright assassination of Le Pen, I cannot see that Soros has either the time - or a way forward - to prevent her from becoming President of France.

And that will cause a little ruckus in a little hunk of Europe called Andorra.

Andorra, a small principality you know of if you love to ski in Europe. Like Monaco, it is a tax haven.

Traditionally, it has been run by a usually Italian Catholic (but currently Spanish Episcopal) Bishop, and the President of France, who are called "The Two Princes of the Church", in Andorran politics.

Co-Princes of Andorra

But what if "The Prince" (as in the President of France") becomes...the Princess?!?
