Roseanne Barr Announces Return to Television, Moves Forward After Show Cancellation

Roseanne Barr made national headlines after her hit series reboot of “Roseanne” was abruptly canceled by ABC News after she Tweeted a racial insult to former Obama White House Advisor Valerie Jarrett. Barr was immensely receptive to the network starting a new show with the ‘Roseanne’ cast and crew (minus Roseanne), as she felt horrible that they all lost their jobs.

Now, in the first interview after her dramatic firing, the sitcom star and comedian has announced she has had “multiple job offers” on television networks. Barr broke down in tears and reiterated her apology to fans. Barr strongly implied she’s about to accept one of those job offers: “Inside every bad thing is a good thing waiting to happen and I feel very excited because I’ve already been offered so many things, and I almost already accepted one really good offer to go back on TV and I might do it. But we’ll see.”
