State Board of Health Makes Changes to Medical Marijuana Regs, Angers Public

Just a day after the Oklahoma State Medical Association made its demands for medical marijuana known, the Oklahoma State Board of Health made last minutes changes to proposed rules which bans smokable forms of marijuana from being sold in dispensaries and requires a pharmacist to be on-site during business hours.

NonDoc‘s William Savage III writes the legal counsel for the Department of Health recommended the Board not making changes to the proposed regulations. However, the Board voted 5-4 to change the rules. Medical marijuana advocates question the Board’s action.
