OH-12: County in Ohio Just ‘Found’ 588 Uncounted Ballots in Special Election

A stunning new report from The Cincinnati (Ohio) Enquirer reports that the special election to replace retiring Congressman Pat Tiberi (R) in Ohio’s 12th district just became closer. On election night, Trump-endorsed Republican candidate Troy Balderson defeated Democratic opponent Danny O’Connor. When the 202,521 votes counted on election night were counted, Balderson was in the lead by only 1,754 votes.

But media outlets, including the Associated Press, have not declared a winner in this nationally-watched election. Now, in a surprise twist, some Ohio election officials “found” 588 votes which were previously uncounted in a suburb of Columbus. After counting, O’Connor gained 190 votes. Now, Balderson’s lead is only at 1,564. A nervous moment for Republicans!
