It’s the fourth year of the war in Yemen, and it is finally on the front pages of American newspapers, but it’s not because the suffering there has reached catastrophic proportions – that happened years ago. Instead, it’s because the Saudi question has become part of the political infighting in Washington. Does suffering only matter when it’s politically expedient?
