Russia denies plans to interfere in Israel elections

Russia yesterday categorically denied reports that it plans to intervene and influence the election of any foreign country including the upcoming Israeli general elections.

Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said: “Russia did not intervene, does not interfere, and does not intend to interfere in the elections of any country in the world.”

On Monday, the head of Israel’s Shin Bet security service, Nadav Argaman, warned that a foreign state plans to intervene in the Knesset elections using cyber-technology.
