Germany volcano ALERT: Earthquakes spark fears of MAGMA rising

Deep and low-frequency earthquakes have been detected for the first time under the dormant Eifel volcano in North Rhine-Westphalia, a new paper show.

As similar tremors are commonly regarded as indicators of the movement of magma at great depths, this discovery suggests magmatic fluids from the upper mantle of the Earth could rise into its crust under East Eifel.
