Former GOP Maine governor declares that getting rid of the Electoral College would leave white people 'forgotten' as they wouldn't get 'anything to say'

Former Maine Gov. Paul LePage asserted any elimination of the Electoral College would hurt white people.

LePage told WVOM radio that allowing the popular vote to choose the president would give minorities more power and that 'white people will not have anything to say.'

'It's only going to be the minorities who would elect. It would be California, Texas, Florida,' he added.
