‘BEAST OF BUCKINGHAM PALACE’ CHILDREN’S BOOK RELEASED AMID PRINCE ANDREW SCANDAL LEAVES TWITTER SMIRKING

Comedian and ‘Little Britain’ star David Walliams’ new children’s book ‘The Beast of Buckingham Palace’ has caused quite a stir on Twitter, not because of its content but for the perfect comedic timing of its release.

At pretty much any other point in 2019, the online commentariat would hardly have batted an eyelid at Walliams’ book title, however, in the immediate aftermath of Prince Andrew’s disastrous BBC interview and subsequent demotion to royal family pariah, online commentators could hardly contain themselves.

The car crash interview saw the Duke of York attempt to defend and downplay his friendship with suspected sex trafficker and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. He has since been summarily dumped by a series of companies and charities with whom he worked before being dismissed from public duties by the Queen herself. “As they say, the secret of comedy is timing,” comedian Frankie Boyle said in response to the release.

To add insult to injury for the disgraced Prince, there’s now a children’s book out in time for Christmas which has, once again, drawn the public’s attention to, at best, his alleged indiscretions and worst his alleged sex crimes

Webmaster's Commentary:

What Prince Andrew suffered from can only be described as an horrendous case of hubris, because of which which he believed he could actually get away with ANYTHING, because of his royal stature, with zero repercussions.

The people for whom I genuinely feel bad in this whole, sordid mess, are his Mom, Queen Elizabeth; his ex-wife, Sarah, the Duchess of York, who defended him to the hilt; and their two daughters, Princess Beatrice, And Princess Eugenie; because no matter how much money they may have remaining, post him getting fired by the Queen, his betrayal of his family in this way, must have cut deeper... than words can possibly describe.

I have zero sympathy for this man whatsoever; that being said, If Andrew has any of his wits about him, he will "solicitor up" (which we Yanks understand as "Lawyer Up") with the best possible the UK has to offer, in this scandal, and when interviewed by the FBI, CIA, etc., will simply tell the truth.

But if he does this, MI-6 will have to offer him 24/7 protection, because the people in very high places in governments who surrounded Jeffrey Epstein, will absolutely not want this information made public.

Governments could, potentially fall, from his revelations; and rather than that happening, those who can, may want to insure that Prince Andrew cannot testify at all, because he has become a "live liability", post-Epstein's death.
