Trump’s Triumph: Billionaire Blowhard Exposes Fake Political System

Last night’s FOX News GOP Presidential Debate Extravaganza featured the most riveting two minute political exchange ever heard on national television. During a brief colloquy between Republican frontrunner Donald Trump and Fox moderator Brett Baier, the pugnacious casino magnate revealed the appalling truth about the American political system, that the big money guys like Trump own the whole crooked contraption lock, stock, and barrel, and that, the nation’s fake political leaders do whatever they’re told to do. Without question, it was most illuminating commentary to ever cross the airwaves.

America: 'The leading terrorist state and proud of it'

Go ahead. Conduct your own poll the next time you’re chatting with Americans. Ask how many civilians were killed in Vietnam, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Iraq, Syria, Panama, Cuba, Nicaragua, Korea, etc. I bet they either don’t know or care. And that’s what - as Chomsky wrote in a 2014 op-ed - makes America the “leading terrorist state and proud of it”.

US Invasion of Syria: The Deep Breath Before the Plunge

When Foreign Policy magazine recently claimed, “Turkey Goes to War,” in their article of the same title, what they really meant was “the US goes to war.” That is because the lengthy plan they described in their article is not of the Turks’ creation, but a long-standing US plan committed to policy papers since at least as early as 2012.

U.S. is Destroying Europe

In Libya, Syria, Ukraine, and other countries at the periphery or edges of Europe, U.S. President Barack Obama has been pursuing a policy of destabilization, and even of bombings and other military assistance, that drives millions of refugees out of those peripheral areas and into Europe, thereby adding fuel to the far-rightwing fires of anti-immigrant rejectionism, and of resultant political destabilization, throughout Europe, not only on its peripheries, but even as far away as in northern Europe.

Natural-born-citizen clause

The Constitution does not define the phrase natural-born citizen, and various opinions have been offered over time regarding its precise meaning. there will never again be enough “good jobs” to go around

snip: These days, to get rich, one needs to take government as a partner. If one does not, regulation and legislation are likely to destroy your business. At this point, many of us (myself included) have had businesses – good businesses that benefited everyone involved – crushed by legislation.

To avoid being crushed these days, you have to be smarter and fleeter of foot than everyone else. Not many of us can survive in that situation, and as regulations continue to rise, even that number grows smaller and smaller.

For the generation before of mine, independent success required ambition, but it was reachable. For my generation, only those of us blessed with unusual talent had a chance at controlling our economic destinies. For the young generation of today, it’s nearly impossible. These days, if you want to jump ahead, you need to be part of something big… and you need to start as a sycophant.

Donald Trump terrifies Republican field

Donald Trump didn’t just steal much of the show at a Republican debate Thursday night, he didn’t just command the stage whenever he chose to — he is an experienced TV performer, after all — but he showed his contempt for the very debate that he was taking part in.

And the audience ate it up.

Time and again, Trump said outrageous and sometimes repellent things and didn’t just get away with it, but often turned boos into cheers.

One of the Fox News moderators, Megyn Kelly, said to him: “You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.”

London Times's "Dirty Bomb" Article a Sign of Coming NATO False Flag

Of course, it is impossible to seriously discuss this story in the way its portrayed in the West. But the fact is that when someone wants to commit a crime — he must first create an alibi. Or, in our case, to create the background information that would blame the enemy. In other words, if the Times - and perhaps with help of Ukrainian and Western intelligence agencies - publishes leaks about a “bomb”, that means Kiev is contemplating a big provocation with its curators.
Sanctions didn’t help to “defeat” Russia. And a Boeing tribunal did not work out. And a UAF attack would have ended in defeat under the current circumstances.
Which means that Kiev needs a disaster with the greatest possible number of victims on the despised territory to make Donbass the area of international disaster, and this time to force Russia to agree to enter their “peacekeeping troops” or any other form of pressure, chosen by America and its satellites.
Hence the talk about a “dirty bomb”.

North Korea to set clocks back by 30 minutes on August 15

North Korea will switch to a new time standard next week setting the clocks all over the country back by 30 minutes. The country thus intends to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Korea’s liberation from the Japanese occupation marked on August 15, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Friday.
It noted that the new time standard corresponds to the real astronomical time and will differ from the Japanese time. "The Japanese imperialists committed unpardonable crimes depriving Korea even of its own time," the agency said.
The Korean Peninsula was under Japanese occupation between 1910 and 1945. During that period the colonial authorities introduced Japanese time for the entire Korea. North Korea is currently in the same time zone as South Korea and Japan.

San Francisco Mayor Wants to Sell Corporate Advertising on City Hall Building

In a stunning example of how elected officials serve the interests of the corporatocracy, San Francisco Mayor Ed Hall suggested Wednesday that City Hall might soon feature digital advertisements. Hall’s plan is to allow corporations to bid for advertising space on the east side of San Francisco’s City Hall, where digital light displays could help attract revenue for the city. The technology for these displays would be privately funded by the company Osbcura Digital, which vows to spend $1.5 million on installation.
