A member of a terrorist organization operating in Iran says that a US State department radio station originally put him in touch with the group.

Ali Motlaq is a member of The Royalist Association of Iran or Tondar, a terrorist group that has claimed responsibility for the attacks across Iran in the last 5 years. They have killed and wounded hundreds.

Motlaq is currently under arrest for planting bombs and orchestrating the assassination of top Iranian figures.

In an exclusive interview with Press TV's IRAN TODAY, he said he first got in touch with the group through Radio Farda - a Persian language radio station funded by the US State Department.

Mexico has demanded a full inquiry after a Mexican teenager died after a US border patrol agent opened fire from the US side of the border.

The youth, believed to be 14 or 15, was found on the Mexican side under a bridge linking Ciudad Juarez with El Paso.

US authorities said the agent was defending himself and colleagues after they came under attack from people throwing stones and rocks.

Israelis have not responded in any of the ways we might have expected. There has been little soul-searching about the morality, let alone legality, of soldiers invading ships in international waters and killing civilians. In the main, Israelis have not been interested in asking tough questions of their political and military leaders about why the incident was handled so badly. And only a few commentators appear concerned about the diplomatic fall-out.

Why would Israel, in a deliberate and methodical operation planned over a week in advance - according to statements by senior Israeli military commanders made in Hebrew-language media days before the attack - target an unarmed ship on a humanitarian mission flying the flag of Comoros? (Unlike Turkey, Comoros is a party of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, which has jurisdiction over war crimes committed on vessels of member states.)

It's a powerful, blunt piece that reaches back to Israel's attack on the USS Liberty, as he writes "the only maritime incident in U.S. history where our military forces were killed that was never investigated by Congress."

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said he will meet Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Istanbul on Tuesday ahead of a U.N. Security Council vote to impose a fourth round of sanctions on Tehran. "The president of Iran is here and I think we will see each other within the framework of the conference," Putin said at a joint news conference with Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan.

"We will have an opportunity to discuss these problems if my Iranian colleague will have such a need," he said, adding that the Security Council resolution has been "practically agreed."

Russia is expected to support the sanctions.
