The Secret Attack on Net Neutrality the Media Won't Tell You About

On Wednesday, Rep. Ander Crenshaw (R-Fla.) introduced riders to an appropriations bill that would prohibit the Federal Communications Commission from using its budget to implement the Open Internet rules and protect Net Neutrality. The riders in the House financial services subcommittee’s appropriations bill, which funds the FCC and other agencies, would prevent those rules from going into effect until after the current court cases challenging them have been decided. The riders would also interfere with the FCC’s rule-making process and undercut the agency’s ability to enforce the rules.

A Brief Statement regarding the various ‘theories’ involving the death of Mike Piper

I have been asked now by a few people what my response is to the latest ‘theories’ concerning Mike having been murdered, so here it goes–
The speculation that Mike was ‘murdered’ originated with Gordon Duff, a lunatic in his own right, who has based such speculation on no facts whatsoever other than that–

a. Mike is an exceptional and outspoken critic of Israel, and

b. that he died.

THIS is the pool of ‘evidence’ that Duff (who once stated live on a radio program that ‘40%’ of the material posted on his website Veterans Today is ‘deliberately false’) uses in forming his ‘theory’.

11-Year-Old Boy Played in His Yard. CPS Took Him, Felony Charge for Parents.

One afternoon this past April, a Florida mom and dad I'll call Cindy and Fred could not get home in time to let their 11-year-old son into the house. The boy didn't have a key, so he played basketball in the yard. He was alone for 90 minutes. A neighbor called the cops, and when the parents arrived—having been delayed by traffic and rain—they were arrested for negligence.

They were put in handcuffs, strip searched, fingerprinted, and held overnight in jail.

It would be a month before their sons—the 11-year-old and his 4-year-old brother—were allowed home again. Only after the eldest spoke up and begged a judge to give him back to his parents did the situation improve.

Adelson’s Anti-BDS Event Links Money To Action

The “secret” Vegas weekend focused on planning for, and funding, a campaign to kill BDS in its academic cradle.

With U.S. billionaires both funding and setting up its top down strategy with Israeli-inspired organizations on American campuses, Israel’s successful invasion of U.S. institutions takes another major step toward “occupying” American institutions.

Four days after the Salon posting appeared, The New York Times buried two paragraphs about the Vegas event inside a longer story which featured the success Israel was enjoying in gaining anti-BDS support in state legislatures in South Carolina and Illinois.

This campaign against American supporters of Palestinian freedom, was prompted by the alarmed awareness among Israeli leaders, and their U.S. allies, that the BDS movement is rapidly gaining ground.

A Rapprochement Or Just Wishful Thinking?

Iranian people have no problem with a rapprochement with the United States...…?Iran could prove to be a powerful strategic partner to the United States, as long as its independence and regional influence are not threatened.

While Mr. Obama had, realistically speaking, no better alternative in choosing the timing for his administration’s foreign policy reorientation, a meaningful follow-through to implement his vision after his term in office expires would need a new Chief Executive with similar convictions; and, as things appear now, that prospect seems somewhat in doubt.

The current jockeying by potential candidates for the 2016 presidential elections is a perfect example of how true national interests are sacrificed for the sake of personal gains.

Don't Expect Clinton, GOP Candidates to Work for Social Justice

My car’s bumper sticker reads “I’m ready for Oligarchy: the choice is clear. There is none.” It’s a truism that under our system, no one can be nominated or can win the presidency who isn’t a shill for the billionaire class. Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, will campaign as a populist in the primaries as Wall Street winks and says, “We totally understand the charade you need to perform to attain the White House. We’ll even act annoyed if that helps.” In the general election, she will move to the center and, after her likely coronation, govern from the right. Always cozy with the military-industrial complex, Clinton voted to authorize President George W. Bush’s criminal war in Iraq, which ended the lives of 4,000 U.S. service members, cost more than a trillion dollars, brought untold death and destruction to the Iraqi people and spawned the Islamic State.

Megyn Kelly, McKinney, And The "Media Matters Lie" That Wasn't

Fox News host Megyn Kelly lashed out at "the left wing press" for highlighting comments she made about a viral video showing police officer Eric Casebolt manhandling a teenage girl at a pool party in McKinney, Texas. Kelly's remarks sparked widespread outrage in liberal and conservative media.

On the June 10 edition of her show Kelly said that "some of the left-wing press continue to use this incident to dishonestly push their own agenda." Diplomats: EU has Israel sanctions ready, and Uncle Sam may not be able to help

Israel wishes to delay the signing of a nuclear deal between world powers and Iran, but not solely because such an agreement would be dangerous to the Jewish State.

The concern is that immediately following such an agreement, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will become the UN Security Council's and European Union's top priority, and the international community will be freed up to deal with the party it sees as responsible for the stagnation in the peace process - Israel.

This is the widely-held assumption in off-the-record conversations among diplomatic sources in New York and in Washington. "A diplomatic attack against Israel is expected soon that will surprise even the pessimists in Jerusalem," a senior Western diplomat told The Jerusalem Post's Hebrew-language sister publication, Ma'ariv. "Why should we have a part of our society that is not being policed or without responsibility?" said special prosecutor Olafur Hauksson at the time. "It is dangerous that someone is too big to investigate - it gives a sense there is a safe haven."

Paul Ryan Cooks Up Elaborate Ruse To Save Immigration Components Of Obamatrade

In the wake of revelations that technically a vote for Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) would be a vote to grant the executive branch massively-expanded immigration powers, the Washington establishment cooked up an elaborate ruse to try to save the flailing Obamatrade bill.

Homeland Security looks for leaker of report on airport-checkpoint failures

The inspector general for the Department of Homeland Security said Tuesday that he is investigating the leak of classified information from an undercover operation in which investigators were able to slip through airport security with weapons and phony bombs more than 95 percent of the time.

“We have started an investigation to determine where the leak was,” Inspector General John Roth told the Senate Homeland Security Committee.

ISRAELI ATTEMPTS TO SILENCE THE TRUTH

Set up by a group of academics, lawyers and politicians more than 25 years ago, the NGO – whose name means “in the image of” and is a synonym in Hebrew for human dignity – has at times portrayed itself as the conscience of the nation.

But legislation being proposed by Israel’s new right-wing government threatens to severely limit the work of B’Tselem and scores of other Israeli NGOs that receive millions of dollars each year in donations from foreign governments and foundations.

While the legislation is in draft form, Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked of the ultra-nationalist Jewish Home party says she is determined to crack down on those who take foreign money and then criticize Israel, accusing the NGOs of “eroding the legitimacy of Israel to exist as a Jewish and democratic state.”

Palestinian speaker released from Israeli jail

According to the Ahrar Center for Prisoners and Human Rights Studies on Tuesday, Aziz Duweik was released from the Ofer prison near the West Bank city of Ramallah after paying a fine of 6,000 shekels ($1,565).

On May 25, an Israeli court handed down a one-year prison term to the 67-year-old Palestinian official and ordered him to pay more than a thousand dollars for delivering a speech at a pro-resistance celebration three years ago.

German Banker: Obama Is Destroying Europe

Interviewed on June 6th by German Economic News, the chief economist at Bremer Landesbank, Folker Hellmeyer, says that because of Obama’s sanctions against Russia, German exports declined year-over-year by 18% in 2014, and by 34% in the first two months of 2015 (no later figures), but he asserts that “The damage is much more comprehensive than these statistics show,” because those are only the “primary losses,” and there are in addition “secondary effects,” which get even worse over time.

Judge Rules Administrative Court System Illegal After 81 Years

A federal judge’s ruling against the Securities and Exchange Commission for using its own Administrative Law judges in an insider trading case is perhaps the beginning of the end of an alternative system of justice that took root in the New Deal. Constitutionally, the socialists tore everything about the idea of a Democracy apart. It was more than taxing one party to the cheers of another in denial of equal protection. It was about creating administrative agencies (1) delegating them to create rules with the force of law as if passed by Congress sanctioned by the people; (2) the creation of administrative courts that defeated the Tripartite government structure usurping all power into the hand of the executive branch, as if this were a dictatorship run by the great hoard of unelected officials.

African-American community rages against SB277 and the Tuskegee-like crimes of mandatory vaccines that destroy black babies' lives

The sleeping giant of the African-American community has awakened against the crimes of the vaccine profiteers and their relentless destruction of young black lives.

It's happening right now, and it touches my heart to see this community rising up and waking up to the life-destroying deceptions of the CDC and its pharmaceutical puppet masters that have dictated "public health policy" in America with wildly destructive consequences for the black community. An entire generation of black babies now suffers under the vaccine injury side effects that the CDC has known about but has willfully hidden from the world in order to protect vaccine profits, all while black children suffer from autism caused by vaccines!

Oregon Grass-fed Ranchers Face Criminal Charges for Grazing Animals

On Tuesday, January 27, 2015 we became accused criminals. The Union County Sheriff’s Department served us with a search and seizure warrant after several animals died over an extended period of time. The next day, they confiscated every head of livestock from our Summerville, Oregon property on the grounds of “criminal neglect”—but nothing more specific than that. They stole our breeding boar and sow, 6 mules, 5 horses, 23 yearling calves, 2 bulls, 4 steers, and 43 cows. The mother cows represent years of genetic selection for cows that will do well living on pasture and eating only grass. Almost all of our mother cows, all of our future beef, and hog breeding stock were taken. This is the majority of our livestock. Prior to the seizure, law enforcement had not presented us with any specific concerns that they wanted to see addressed. They did not work with us to have a veterinarian come on the property to assess our animals.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Being a farm kid myself, I know that all farms lose animals. The "crime" here seems to be that these farmers were feeding their animals grass, instead of buying commercially produced "approved" animal feed from agribusiness.

Home / UK / ‘BBC bias’: EU referendum coverage to be independently monitored by watchdog

The BBC could be legally compelled to remain impartial throughout Britain’s EU referendum campaign, following new broadcast regulations tabled by backbench MPs.

Backbench Tory MPs including Bill Cash, John Redwood, Peter Bone and Christopher Chope are calling for the majority Conservative government to appoint an impartial adjudicator to rule on cases of alleged broadcasting bias throughout the campaign.

The newly formed watchdog would monitor all broadcast output throughout the campaign in the run-up to the in/out referendum, the Telegraph reported on Wednesday.

Forget BBC! You need to keep an independent eye on those vote counters!
