Percentage of GDP to External Debt: Default is Inevitable

With the newscasts focusing on Iceland's external debt and Soros betting against the euro, some seem to forget that the problem spreads beyond the PIGS. Here is a list of the Top 20 Nations with an external debt problem. Greece is #16. The UK is #3, Switzerland is #2.

Does anyone really believe that the citizens of these countries will become permanent slaves to make good on the debts procured by their "representatives" in government?

So when are you going to make war on Israel, Mr Brown?

Alan Hart highlights the double standard displayed by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown at the Iraq Inquiry on 5 March, where he sought to justify the aggression against Iraq on the grounds of Iraq’s non-compliance with international law – something Israel has been doing for 62 years.

”for 62 years the Zionist state of Israel has been, and continues to be, the biggest single violator of international law. No state on Planet Earth has been allowed to get away with defying UN resolutions for so long. And, I say, no state poses a bigger threat to the peace of the region and the world than Israel on its present course.”

Chavez mocks Clinton as "blond Condoleezza"

Venezuela's President Hugo mocked Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Friday as a "blond" version of her predecessor, and said a row with Spain over alleged links with rebel groups was over.

"To me, she's like Condoleezza Rice ... a blond Condoleezza," said the Venezuelan, referring to former U.S. president George W. Bush's secretary of state, with whom he exchanged frequent harsh words at long-distance.

Video satire: President Obama rejects the narrow, dogmatic views of the Jedi

*hyperlinks and video live at source*

Derrick C. Crowe’s latest 3-minute video below compares President Obama’s rejection speech of peace (and here) to the widely popular Star Wars artistic presentation of a republic descending into fascism.

The strategy to rip constitutional restraint in the story was a false flag attack, which is a distinct strategy planned for operation by the US government to kill Americans, blame Iran, and launch a “defensive” war.

CameronFanSite’s Channel presents a 10 minute artistic explanation of how governments use false flag attacks to create public support to wage Wars of Aggression, also below.

Please let Mr. Obama’s lies in his speech sink in and touch your heart’s passion for justice. He said,

Minimum Wage, Maximum Teenage Joblessness

Artificially raising wages for unskilled workers reduces the demand for those workers at the same time that it increases the number of unskilled workers looking for work, which results in an excess supply of unskilled workers. Period. And another term for an "excess supply of unskilled workers" is an "increase in the teenage jobless rate." Despite the wishful thinking of politicians and labor unions, the laws of supply and demand are not optional.

While Krugman and the Democrats (and most of the media) were declaring, "It's only $10 billion," Bunning replied that if Democrats could not even demonstrate some fiscal discipline in a relatively small amount of money, then they were incapable of dealing with the larger budget issues that threaten to swamp our entire country in a sea of unpayable debt.

Congressman Dennis Kucinich invoked a procedural rule to help protect Americans from endless war to compel members of Congress to debate and vote whether to continue US war in Afghanistan.

Pentagon gunman sought ‘truth’ about 9/11

Webmaster's Commentary:

Given that the majority of people no longer trust the official story of 9-11 it seems likely that anyone reaching their breaking point and shooting at the Pentagon (or crashing a plane into the IRS) has already decided that the government should not be trusted on anything that it says.

The government and media are going to spin this latest attack as a condemnation of anyone who fails to believe as the government orders them to believe I think this only reminds all Americans that they are not alone in wondering just what really happened (cheap plug) on 9-11.

I know that some people will insist this is a staged false-flag event, but like Joe Stack who crashed a plane into the IRS, this reads to me like a genuine case of an American who has just had enough, has reached their breaking point, and a government propaganda machine doing their usual "how can we use this to our advantage?" process.

The reason I do not think this is a false flag attack is that s6aged false flag terror is directed at innocent lives, lots of them, to maximize the psychological shock value. In both the IRS and Pentagon cases, public opinion has little sympathy for the targets.

False flag attacks have to have a live perpetrator, someone to put on trial, like Tim McVeigh, or even better to remain at large, like Osama bin Laden, to continue to fan the flames of public outrage and build public pressure to exact a revenge against the intended patsy. In both the IRS and Pentagon cases, the perpetrators are already dead, cutting off any possibility of revenge. Closure is forced on these events before then even get going.

Before the American revolution started in earnest it was preceded by numerous small actions in which angered colonials shot and killed British soldiers at random. The reason the British panicked at the intersection of Devonshire and State streets on March 5, 1770 was their awareness that the colonials had been shooting and killing their comrades.

It appears we are in the same phase here.

Many Voices Calling for War with Iran

Wanting to go to war with Iran has created some very strange bedfellows. Leading neoconservative Daniel Pipes’ assertion that President Barack Obama can salvage his presidency and get reelected by attacking Iran is about as low as it gets, suggesting as it does that an act of war can and should serve as a diversion from a failed domestic agenda. The soldiers and civilians who would inevitably die in such a conflict might not agree with Pipes that all is fair in politics. They would no doubt consider themselves betrayed and manipulated by a venal and disconnected political leadership, but no matter. It would not be a first time a neocon would consider a non-neocon casualty little more than a disagreeable statistic.

Congressional sources claim the groups are billing for “cookie cutter” lawsuits — they file the same petitions to multiple agencies on procedural grounds, and under the Act, they file for attorney fees even if they do not win the case. Since 1995, the federal government has neither tracked nor accounted for any of these attorney fee payments.

‘Colbert Report’: Greece, Frightening

Sure, Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein once crowed that his firm was “doing God’s work,” but, as Stephen Colbert points out here, Blankfein never actually specified which God he was talking about. Perhaps it was Hades, Greek god of the underworld. Given the state of the Greek economy, that may not be too much of a stretch.

Frigid fields are blasting crops in Manatee, Sarasota

Some growers are relying on a sense of humor to cope this winter.

"I've been telling people I'm gonna retire and move to Florida," jokes Bob Spencer, of Palmetto's West Coast Tomato.

Says Ralph Garrison of Bradenton's Suncoast Nursery, "I can't remember when I last wore shorts. The only people wearing shorts are tourists."

The winter of 2009-10 will go down in history as the seventh-coldest December, January and February in the history of Manatee and Sarasota counties, said John McMichael, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Ruskin.

The Met Office is to stop publishing seasonal forecasts, after it came in for criticism for failing to predict extreme weather.

The forecasts, four times a year, will be replaced by monthly predictions.

The Met Office said it decided to change its forecasting approach after carrying out customer research.

Explaining its decision, the Met Office released a statement which said: "By their nature, forecasts become less accurate the further out we look.

A Guide to the 9/11 Whistleblowers

So what if there are 9/11 whistleblowers? What if these whistleblowers come from every level of government and private industry, individuals who have even had their cases vindicated by internal government reports? As you are about to see, there are numerous such whistleblowers and each one is a thorn in the side of those who want to pretend that the 9/11 Commission represents the sum total of knowledge on the 9/11 attacks.

Citigroup’s Auction-Rate Bonds Freeze $1 Billion in Hawaii Cash

Public attention has been focused on Wall Street banks’ role in feeding the subprime-debt crisis by creating credit- default swaps, real-estate derivatives and off-balance-sheet financing. The resulting blowup of the U.S. property market led to the 2008 collapse of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and produced $1.7 trillion in financial-company loan losses and writedowns worldwide.

The same Wall Street salesmanship helped fuel a second financial crisis for states, cities and universities from Massachusetts to California that have lost billions of dollars on derivative contracts and municipal-investment deals.

My Plan for a Freedom President How I would put the Constitution back in the Oval Office by Ron Paul

Since my 2008 campaign for the presidency I have often been asked, “How would a constitutionalist president go about dismantling the welfare-warfare state and restoring a constitutional republic?” This is a very important question, because without a clear road map and set of priorities, such a president runs the risk of having his pro-freedom agenda stymied by the various vested interests that benefit from big government.

why, heavens above, our rulers are trying to kill us

Gates and Buffett are major funders of global population reduction programs, as is Turner, whose UN Foundation was created to funnel $1b of his tax-free stock option earnings in AOL-Time-Warner into various birth reduction programs in the developing world. The programs in Africa and elsewhere are masked as philanthropy and providing health services for poor Africans. In reality they involve involuntary population sterilization via vaccination and other medicines that make women of child-bearing age infertile. The Gates Foundation, where Buffett deposited the bulk of his wealth two years ago, is also backing introduction of GMO seeds into Africa under the cloak of the Kofi Annan-led ‘Second Green Revolution’ in Africa.

Pentagon shooter driven by hatred, conspiracy theories

A bitter Californian consumed by hatred towards the U.S. government and conspiracy theories about the 9/11 terrorism attacks and other perceived government coverups opened fire on Pentagon police Thursday night, wounding two before officers cut him down in a fusillade of gunfire.

John Patrick Bedell hated the government and the American military and was convinced the government, not terrorists, destroyed the World Trade Center twin towers in New York and faked the attack on the Pentagon in Washington.

Pentagon police chief Richard Keevill said Bedell walked up to police officers at the entrance to the Metro subway station at the headquarters of America’s military and opened fire.
