Fr. Morris: Hillary Aides 'Want to Line Up Catholic Church with Dem Platform'

Recent WikiLeaks emails showed that a progressive think tank executive was in contact with Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman, John Podesta, about "planting the seeds" of a "Catholic Spring"-- a revolution within the Catholic Church to press the church to align more with the left wing of the Democratic party.

"There needs to be a Catholic Spring," Sandy Newman, of Voices For Progress, wrote to Podesta, "in which Catholics themselves demand the end of a Middle Ages dictatorship and the beginning of a little democracy and respect for gender equality."

NATO Adds to Turkey’s Chagrin. Turkish Good-Bye to NATO?

There has long been speculation about a Turkish good-bye to NATO.

The U.S. and its military proxy organization in Europe are doing their best to further such a move:

The image of Atatürk was displayed as a target during the drill at NATO’s Joint Warfare Center in Stavanger, Norway held between Nov. 8 and Nov. 17, while a NATO soldier posted defamatory words about Erdo?an on the social media.

Atatürk is the founder of the secular Turkey. He was designated as “target” during a desk-top drill. NATO’s Joint Warfare Center is not a low level school but an elite officer training institution led by a Major-General. The 40 Turkish soldiers who attended the training course were immediately ordered back home.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Turkey now appears, both economically, and militarily, to be moving toward a more Russian/Chinese orbit, and NATO has no one but itself to blame for this.

Arab League Emergency Meeting: Divisions Fail the Decisions

When Saudi Arabia called for the emergency meeting, divides showed face, too. Iraq declared that it will not take part on the level of foreign minister in the meeting. Additionally, the foreign minister of Libyan national unity government Mohammed Taha Siala has announced that Libya sent a letter to the Arab League head informing him that it was not participating. Lebanon is another Arab country that is expected to challenge the closing statement if it blasts Hezbollah. In March 2016 summit, the Lebanese and Iraqi representatives opposed labeling Hezbollah a terrorist organization. Responding to Beirut objection, Saudi Arabia froze $3 billion in military aid presented to Lebanon by Riyadh. Moreover, the Qatari spat with Saudi Arabia is slated to overshadow the ending statement about Hezbollah condemnation and continuation of Saudi Arabia’s destabilizing behavior in Yemen and Lebanon.

The US-led War Against ISIS Is Killing 31 Times More Civilians Than Claimed. Report

The Pentagon claims that its air war against ISIS is one of the most accurate in history and that it is so careful in who it targets that the 14,000 US airstrikes in Iraq have killed just 89 civilians.

It turns out that the military’s assertion is a stunning underestimation of the true human cost of Washington’s three-year-old war against ISIS. An 18-month-long investigation by the New York Times has found that the US-led military coalition is killing civilians in Iraq at a rate 31 times higher than it’s admitting.

“It is at such a distance from official claims that, in terms of civilian deaths, this may be the least transparent war in recent American history,” Azmat Khan and Anand Gopal report.

Moore Accuser Removes Anti Moore, Anti Trump FB Rants, 1889

Senate races keep getting more and more expensive every year. The current record holder is the race was the 2016 Senate race between Pennsylvania Republican incumbent Sen. Pat Toomey and his challenger, Democrat Katie McGinty which clocked in at over $162 million. The recent special election Congressional race in Georgia cost over $50 million.

But what a bargain it would be if you could swing a Senate election 20, 30 or 40 points if, in the last 30 days before the election, you spent $25-$50,000 to mount a robo-call targeting Democrat women in the state in question, offering to pay any woman $5,000 who would agree to swear on a stack of bibles that the Republican candidate had had sex with when she was 16. Only the first 10 women with the best “evidence” will be chosen. Hurry, hurry, hurry!

Families as pawns: Israel pressures Palestinians into exile through foreign spouse visas

Like many young married couples across the world, Claire and her husband have a five-year-plan. But instead of their main concern being how to deal with the imminent arrival of their first child, Claire’s family is facing the very real possibility of expulsion and exile.

Like scores of other foreigners married to Palestinians in the occupied territory, Claire — whose name has been changed to protect her identity, like all other women interviewed for this article — has struggled to navigate the labyrinthine Israeli bureaucratic process to obtain the necessary paperwork to reside in the West Bank with her husband.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Typical behaviour from a wretchedly aparthied, self-proclaimed theocracy, with nuclear weapons, which is precisely what the state of Israel has become in the 21st century.

Global medical watchdog complicit with Israeli abuses

It is now more than 20 years since Amnesty International first concluded that Israeli doctors working with Israel’s security services “form part of a system in which detainees are tortured, ill-treated and humiliated in ways that place prison medical practice in conflict with medical ethics.”

Since then there have been repeated attempts – of which this author has been part – to have the global medical ethics watchdog World Medical Association (WMA) hold the Israeli Medical Association (IMA) accountable for these practices.

But with the latest attempt foundering last year and despite changes in leadership over the years, the conclusion that now has to be drawn is that, when it comes to Israel, the WMA is not fit for the purpose for which it was created after World War II.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Torture is routine, on the part of the IDF against Palestinians, even though it has been proven to not produce actionable results, and will simply get the tortured individuals to say whatever they think their interrogators want to hear in order to get the torture to stop.

So why does the IDF do this?!? Because they can get away with it, with absolute and complete impunity.

Israel bars Palestinian grandmother from visiting slain father’s grave for 70 years

Salwa Salem-Copty hopes to someday return to live in her family’s village in the north of Israel, but at 70 years old, she thinks it is unlikely. Instead she has one request — she would like to be allowed to visit the grave of her father, who was killed when a bus full of workers traveling to Haifa was attacked in April 1948.

Salwa’s mother was pregnant with her at the time, living as an internally displaced person in nearby Nazareth with three young children. She had prepared Easter dinner for her family, as they waited on her husband to return. Instead Salwa’s uncle showed up with the news — Salwa’s father was not coming home.

While the residents of Ma’alul had been kicked out of their village several months previously, when Israeli forces took over the area, demolishing every Palestinian home in the village, residents were still able to bury their dead in the village’s cemeteries.

Webmaster's Commentary:

JUST when I think the government of Israel cannot possibly be more heavy-handedly petty, it amazes me yet again with its pig-ignorant, insensitive behaviour.

‘Arrogant’ Saudi Arabia fails to hurt Hezbollah with Hariri gambit, but won’t stop trying

Riyadh’s attempt to assert control in Lebanon and open up a new front against Hezbollah and Iran has brought little return, but substantial reputational damage. But does Saudi Arabia even care about playing geopolitical chess, or does it just want to fling pieces at its adversaries?

The road trip-slash-conspiracy thriller that began with Saad Hariri’s surprise resignation as Lebanese Prime Minister from Saudi Arabia on November 4 is by no means over: Perhaps Emmanuel Macron will help Hariri hold on to his position by mediating the crisis in Paris this weekend, or maybe the trip to France is merely the beginning of his exile. And even if Hariri does return to Beirut to the embrace of sympathetic locals, victimhood is not always the easiest route to retaining power.

The Long March 9 super-heavy-lift rocket, capable of carrying over 100 tons and designed to send crewed missions to the moon and possibly unmanned ones to Mars, will make its maiden flight by 2030 as part of China’s lunar and Mars exploration program.

According to the roadmap, Beijing will also start to provide multiple commercial launch services by 2020, which will be relatively cheap and fail-proof due to the ongoing intellectualization and modernization of its carrier rockets.

China also plans to have its own reusable space plane operational by 2025, and make all of its space vehicles reusable by 2035. This would help develop the suborbital space tourism industry with China’s first space shuttle to make its maiden flight in 2020.

North Korea’s Submarine Ballistic Missile Program Moves Ahead: Indications of Shipbuilding and Missile Ejection Testing

Commercial satellite imagery of the Sinpo South Shipyard from November 5 indicates that North Korea is on an aggressive schedule to build and deploy its first operational ballistic missile submarine.

The continued movement of parts and components into and out of the parts yards adjacent to the construction halls indicates an ongoing shipbuilding program. The presence of what appear to be sections of a submarine’s pressure hull in the yards suggests construction of a new submarine, possibly the SINPO-C ballistic missile submarine (SSB)[1]—the follow-on to the current SINPO-class experimental ballistic missile submarine (SSBA).[2]

A probable launch canister support, or launch canister, appears to be present within the service tower at the missile test stand suggesting the ongoing ejection testing of submarine launch ballistic missiles (SLBM). Such testing could support the continued development of SLBMs, a new ballistic missile submarine or a combination of both.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In light of the fact that the land around their missile test site has been geologically compromised, this would be a very logical thing which North Korean scientists would want to do.

Saudi 'Corruption' Probe Widens: Dozens Of Military Officials Arrested

After jailing dozens of members of the royal family, and extorting numerous prominent businessmen, 32-year-old Saudi prince Mohammed bin Salman has widened his so-called 'corruption' probe further still.

The Wall Street Journal reports that at least two dozen military officers, including multiple commanders, recently have been rounded up in connection to the Saudi government’s sweeping corruption investigation, according to two senior advisers to the Saudi government.

Additionally, several prominent businessmen also were taken in by Saudi authorities in recent days.

A number of businessmen including Loai Nasser, Mansour al-Balawi, Zuhair Fayez and Abdulrahman Fakieh also were rounded up in recent days, the people said.

Attempts to reach the businessmen or their associates were unsuccessful.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would observe that these arrests of Saudi military are to consolidate power absolutely, so there is not a one of his COs who will not be behind him, one hundred percent, ultimately, for a strike against Iran.

I would like to hope that some of his trusted advisors have at least mentioned that this will most probably mean a war against Russia as well, as Russian military and civilian leadership have consistently stated that should Iran be attacked militarily, Russia will come to its aid.

Japanese boat crashes into US Navy destroyer in Pacific Fleet’s 5th collision this year

A US Navy destroyer has collided with a Japanese tugboat in Sagami Bay, off the east coast of Japan, making it the fifth such incident involving the Pacific Fleet this year.

An official statement from the US Navy's 7th Fleet said the tugboat lost its propulsion and drifted into the USS Benfold on Saturday, sustaining minor damage.

“No one was injured on either vessel and Benfold sustained minimal damage, including scrapes on its side, pending a full damage assessment,” the statement read. The USS Benfold remains at sea while the Japanese boat was towed to a port in Yokosuka. The Navy said that the incident would be investigated.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Polar Vortex to return! Millions set for 'an extended period of severe winter weather' that will keep temperatures in the North East below average for months

Millions of Americans will go through a colder than average winter this year, researchers believe.

A new report from the National Science Foundation estimates below normal temperatures for the northern and eastern U.S. after a link between fall weather in Siberia and Northern Hemisphere winters.

The NSF found that a combination of cold and wet 'could result in an above normal snow season for parts of the northern U.S., including the large population centers of the northeastern U.S.'

The mystery of the solar minimum deepens as astronomers find it has remained 'surprisingly constant' for more than 60 years

As the sun moves through its 11-year cycle, it experiences active and quiet periods known as the solar maximum and solar minimum.

While solar maximum can present itself in a host of different ways, a new study has found that microwaves emitted during the solar minimum have largely remained the same for more than half a century.

The discovery is surprising, the researchers say, and could help to provide a clearer understanding of the processes that give rise to sunspots and other solar activity.

Thousands of people on universal credit will not receive a payment at Christmas

Thousands of low-paid people on universal credit will receive reduced payments or none at all over Christmas, in a fresh controversy about the new benefit.

The claimants will be hit because they are paid weekly and their income “will likely go over the universal credit limit”, officials say.

They will be able to reapply in January – but, it is feared, will be left without a payment from the Government over the Christmas and New Year period.

The same problem will re-occur in other months which, like December, have five paydays, because universal credit is calculated on a monthly basis.

Participants In 2014 Ukrainian Coup Confess

The overthrow of the democratically elected President of Ukraine in February 2014 was one of the most important geostrategic occurrences during the past century, because it led to the breakaway from Ukraine of the two regions — Crimea and Donbass — that had been the most opposed to the overthrow, and that had voted over 75% for the President who had been overthrown. And those two breakaways from Ukraine were then presented in the U.S.-allied “The West” as having resulted from ‘Russian aggression’, which then became punished, first by economic sanctions against Russia, and then by massive NATO military buildups on Russia’s borders.

Fact: Helicopters were airborne behind the Mandalay Bay during the Las Vegas Shooting

If you have been following my reports on the Las Vegas Shooting than you are likely aware of my “helicopter theory” which I presented in great detail on “The Alex Jones Show” Halloween day.

On the broadcast, I presented a portion of the information I possessed at the time as a “theory” in order to fill in the blanks for the listening audience by explaining exactly how an advanced air assault and extraction were indeed possible despite the fact that already had seen enough evidence at the time to conclude in my mind that helicopters were indeed operating within the airspace around the vicinity of the venue before, during, and after the massacre took place.

Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas), Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) introduced legislation on Thursday that would require states and agencies to produce plans for sending records to the National Instant Background Check System (NICS) that would show if an individual is prohibited from buying a gun and verifying that the information is accurate.

National Defense Versus Global (In)Security

Our government likes to talk about global security, which in their minds is basically synonymous with homeland security. They argue that the best defense is a good offense, that “leaning forward in the foxhole,” or always being ready to attack, is the best way to keep Americans safe. Hence the 800 U.S. military bases in foreign countries, the deployment of special operations units to 130+ countries, and the never-ending “war on terror.”

Senators propose 'USA Liberty Act' to reauthorize NSA surveillance

The question of how to reign in monitoring enabled by Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) has been in the spotlight ever since the Edward Snowden PRISM revelations. What exactly to do about it has gone back and forth, but the latest attempt to "reform" surveillance is here in the form of the USA Liberty Act, a bipartisan proposal introduced by Senators Mike Lee and Patrick Leahy (PDF). The Washington Post figures it has little chance of passage, however, it does contain language that would make government agencies get a warrant before searching information collected by the NSA under Section 702.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I love the irony and hipocrsy of the title of this legislation; and the serious question which must be asked is, does this legislation actually make us more safe, or simply provide a conduit for surveilling evey bit ofminutiae in our lives?!?

I would politely suggest that it accomplishes the latter, but not the former, and for good reason.

The fastest way to get any kind of terrorism away from the US, or US interests, would be to stop mucking about in other peoples' countries; expropriating resources to which the US government, and the corporations which own, it have utterly no moral right; and insisting that those resources ony be purchased with US petrodollars.

You're welcome, FBI, CIA, DHS, and NSA! :-)

Trump to be presented with $47M deal to arm Ukraine against Russia

President Donald Trump will be presented with the recommendation to finance and sell anti-tank missiles to the Ukrainian government — a move aimed at deterring aggression from pro-Russian separatists, a State Department official told ABC News.

The National Security Council decided during a meeting on Tuesday to greenlight the presentation of a $47 million grant package to the Ukrainian government to purchase American defense arms, including the powerful Javelin anti-tank missiles.

The president and Congress must approve the sale of anti-tank missiles. The Javelin, a portable missile with a steep price-tag, has been described as "The American Military's Anti-Tank Killer."

Webmaster's Commentary:

NO, ABC, this was not a "popular uprising"; can you manage, for one millisecond, not to be regurgitating the official government line, and tell the truth here?!?

This was a US sponsored putsch, which threw Yanukovych under the proverbial bus, and "annointed" the Western-centric darling of the moment, Poroshenko, as president, in an election more crooked than a dog's hind leg.

President Obama himself admitted this in an interview in 2015:

Washington Was Behind Ukraine Coup: Obama admits that US “Brokered a Deal” in Support of “Regime Change”

And to the "author" of this piece of stinking codswallop; When ABC's "alleged journalists" continue to lie like this, then wonder why their ratings and credibility are well and truly flushed, they have no one to blame but themselves!!

NBC News executive ousted over 'inappropriate conduct' with female employees

Matt Zimmerman, the executive in charge of booking for NBC News, has been fired for what the company called “inappropriate conduct” with female employees at the network.

“We have recently learned that Matt Zimmerman engaged in inappropriate conduct with more than one woman at [parent company NBCUniversal], which violated company policy. As a result he has been dismissed,” an NBC News representative said in a statement.

Women at NBC News brought Zimmerman’s alleged behavior to the attention of the company amid the heightened attention on sexual harassment that has resulted from the allegations brought against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, comedian Louis C.K., director Brett Ratner, NPR executive Michael Oreskes and a host of media and entertainment industry names.

Xi Jinping Pledges To "Strengthen Relationship" Between Saudi Arabia And China

In what can only be described as a masterful play to entice Saudi Arabia to list shares of Aramco in Hong Kong (assuming the kingdom follows through with the listing, which is reportedly in jeopardy) Chinese state media reported Friday that Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged to strengthen the relationship between China and Saudi Arabia as the latter tries to reform its economy.

According to the South China Morning Post, Xi vowed to strengthen cooperation between the two states at a time when the Middle Eastern kingdom is facing a political shake-up at home, and heightened tensions with Lebanon and Iran. Xi’s vow of friendship came with the crucial qualifier that the relationship between the two countries wouldn’t be affected by shifting international circumstances.

Hillary Clinton, Who Colluded With The Russians, Questions The Legitimacy Of The 2016 Elections Because….Russia

Failed former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is now directly questioning the legitimacy of the 2016 elections, citing the discredited deep state narrative that Donald Trump worked with the Russians as one of her reasons despite the fact that her own campaign colluded with “Russian sources” to spread disinformation about President Trump through what would eventually become known as the “Trump dossier.”

Clinton made the comments in a wide ranging interview with the always friendly Mother Jones Senior Reporter Ari Berman where she stated that there are many questions about the actual legitimacy of the last presidential election in which she lost.

During the interview Berman asked Clinton, “So between the Republican voter suppression you talked about and Russian interference, do you think it was a legitimate election?”

NEW COLD WAR? NORTH KOREA STRENGTHENS TIES WITH CUBA

Pyongyang hopes to rekindle a Cold War-era friendship.

Korean Central News Agency announced Friday that North Korea’s Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho and his delegation will be traveling to Cuba, in hopes of revamping international support amid sanctions and widespread condemnation of Pyongyang’s nuclear missile tests.

The Washington Post reported that North Korea’s visit to Cuba occurs as Pyongyang’s largest trading partners announced they would halt trade with the isolated nation. Singapore—North Korea’s seventh largest trading partner–indicated it would sever its trade with the country Thursday, while the Philippines—Pyongyang’s fifth largest trading partner—is following suit.

TURKISH PRESIDENT ERDOGAN ACCUSES US OF SUPPORTING ISIS

Turkey’s president said, “The administration in the United States has changed but everything remains the same as before.”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused the United States of granting financial aid to members of the Islamic State group, a State Department-listed terrorist organization.

“The United States has disappointed us a lot, saying that it fights Daesh (the Islamic State group) but in reality, it gave them a lot of support,” said the head of state at a meeting of the Justice and Development Party, AKP, the ruling party of Turkey.

Russia has made the similar remarks on several occasions.

The Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zajarova, said that some testimonies indict the U.S. military and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO, for supporting the Islamic State group in Afghanistan.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Erdogan and the Russian Spokesperson, Zajarova, are both correct in their observations.

We had a caller into the show yesterday, a gentleman named Roy, who is a wounded Iraq War Veteran, who joined the US military at 18 right after 9/11. He expressed both his disbelief and displeasure at the reality that the US military was providing money, equipment, and training to our alleged "enemies" in the Middle East, just for the purpose of destabilizing countries even further, thus insuring that Middle Eastern oil was only sold in US dollars, and was only going through, and sold to US-approved vendors.

Both ISIS and the Kurds have been proxy groups, used by a succession of US administrations to terrorize various elements in Afghanistan and the Middle East, and prevent, wherever possible, a peaceful resolution to geopolitical problems.
