DID EXTORTION 17 COVER-UP SINK REP. CHAFFETZ?

This week we learned that the ever “media friendly” smiling publicity hound of the House of Representatives, Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz of Utah, would not run again for his seat next year. Ironically, as Chaffetz announced that he would step down from his seemingly powerful role as chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee – a body that is the investigative “scandal arm” of the House – it was revealed by Circa News that an investigation he had conducted over the tragic shoot down of Extortion 17 was part of an elaborate government cover-up, itself criminal in nature. Had Chaffetz remained as chairman, ironically, his own committee would have had to investigate and likely take action against him.

Key iPhone 8 feature could be disastrous

After the picture was leaked last week, iPhone users were fast to point out just how ridiculously impractical the positioning of the new fingerprint scanner was.

With most Android devices, the scanner is located at the rear of the device, but at the top where it is natural for your finger to sit.

Even though the S8 has been criticised for placing it next to the camera, at least it is located in a comfortable position.

One Reddit user explained why the button’s new position would be a terrible move from Apple.

“Just try holding your iPhone now and reaching your index finger that far below the Apple logo. If this is true, it is a disastrous placement of touch ID, even worse than the S8 in my opinion,” they wrote.

If You Understand History and Economics, You Understand Gold

It was clear to me after the US election that Trump was never going to live up to all his promises to make America great again. He took over the country at the end of a 36-year era of continuous stock and bond market rally fuelled by the biggest credit expansion in US history. It would have been an impossible task for anyone to expand all the bubbles and it seems that Trump unsurprisingly has already failed at the first hurdle. After just under 100 days, he is already a lame duck president. This is why he has turned to war which is the last desperate attempt of a leader who fails on the home front in a bankrupt nation.

Thousands at Auschwitz for yearly Holocaust memorial event

The event, the March of the Living, is a somber memorial march of about three kilometers (two miles) from the original Auschwitz camp to Birkenau, a much larger death camp where Jews and Roma were murdered in gas chambers in German-occupied Poland.
Note: There were no gas chambers in Auschwitz or anywhere else. I challenge anyone to show me or draw me a picture of a gas chamber.

Rumors of Alleged Russian Interference in French Election 'Nonsense'

The team of French presidential candidate Francois Fillon called rumors of an alleged Russian interference in the French presidential election "nonsense," Danielle Pesquelle from Fillon's team told Sputnik on Sunday.

"I think Fillon was pressured from all sides, especially, from the mainstream media, which supports Macron. Russia's interference is a rumor, we don't think so at all. I don't think [Russian President Vladimir] Putin interfered into the election. It is nonsense. You have the proof this evening as Fillon is behind [Marine Le Pen and Emmanuel Macron]," Pesquelle said.

How the U.S. Government Spins the Story

Sounds like we’ve heard it all before, because we have, back in August 2013, and that turned out to be less than convincing. Skepticism is likewise mounting over current White House claims that Damascus used a chemical weapon against civilians in the village of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib province on April 4th. Shortly after the more recent incident, President Donald Trump, possibly deriving his information from television news reports, abruptly stated that the government of President Bashar al-Assad had ordered the attack. He also noted that the use of chemicals had “crossed many red lines” and hinted that Damascus would be held accountable. Twenty-four hours later retribution came in the form of the launch of 59 cruise missiles directed against the Syrian airbase at Sharyat. The number of casualties, if any, remains unclear and the base itself sustained only minor damage amidst allegations that many of the missiles had missed their target.

Debunking Trump’s Casus Belli

Recently, with the cruise missile attacks on a Syrian airfield, there has been a considerable loosening of the normal restraints that employees exercise regarding their duties. Even more than the invasion of Iraq, which was viewed skeptically by many in the community, the decision by President Trump to retaliate with force against Damascus has been met with dismay among many of those closest to the action in the Middle East.

Many officers have expressed frustration and anger over what has taken place—not to challenge national-security policy, which they leave up to the politicians, but because they are perceiving a tissue of lies, as in Iraq. They have expressed their concerns in very specific ways to former fellow officers and friends. For the first time, people on the inside of the process are really talking. And we have been listening, astonished at the level of anger.

FLASHBACK 2012 - Israel Lobby Pushes for US Action Against the Syrian Government (to weaken Iran)

The neoconservatives, the vanguard of the Israel lobby, have especially been ardent in their advocacy of a hardline, interventionist position toward Syria. Evidence abounds for this finding, but it is best encapsulated by an August 2011 open letter from the neoconservative Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (an organization which claims to address any “threat facing America, Israel and the West”) to President Obama, urging him to take stronger measures against Syria.

Trump Blames 'Fake Media' for His Low Approval Rating

US President Donald Trump said that "fake" media outlets were responsible for the low level of his support by the US citizens revealed by recent surveys.

On Sunday, several US media outlets, such as Washington Post and the ABC broadcaster, published surveys showing that majority of the US citizens do not approve Trump's activities as president.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Donald, Donald, Donald ... (sigh). Your low approval is because you are not keeping your most important promise to the American people, which was an end to these foreign interventions. Your economic policy so far appears to pander to the already rich while not improving life for the vast majority of people who voted for you. FOX NEWS Under Attack – Only Mainstream News Media Left Who Reports The Truth – Sean Hannity Being Sued For Sexual Harassment BUT TAKING LEGAL ACTION.

I feel before the attack is complete, the voice of FOX NEWS will be silenced. Fox is the last mainstream news media TV channel , who voices the truth to the American people.

Although the Internet is the main source of news for most people, many older Americans choose TV; thus, the takeover of Fox News by Liberal globalists is a serious attack on the truth. No wonder they wanted us to stay! UK leaving EU without deal 'would cost Germany BILLIONS'

BRITAIN leaving the EU without a deal would end up costing the remaining eurozone countries more, especially Germany, a Bundestag committee has been warned.

A hearing of the Bundestag’s European Committee was told by experts that Germany would incur extra costs because it is the largest net contributor to the EU’s kitty.

If Britain were to leave the bloc without a deal, then it would no longer be obliged to transfer any money to Brussels from April 2019 onwards and would not need to contribute to the future pension costs of EU officials, which stands at a sizeable £54.1billion (€63.8bn)

Dr Peter Becker, 58, at Germany’s Institute for International Policy and Security, told the committee: "The EU would then have no legal means to demand outstanding payments from London.”

The worst that could happen is that a vehicle could be immobilized by a parking brake that can’t be disengaged.

With these glasses, a legally blind teen can see — and shoot 3s with the Harlem Globetrotters

An Ontario teen who is legally blind not only got to hang out with a couple of Harlem Globetrotters recently — he was able to actually see them, thanks to technology from a Toronto startup.

Ethan LaCroix, 13, has been nearly 75 per cent blind his whole life because of a rare disease called Leber congenital amaurosis. But when he wears eSight eyewear, the Brantford, Ont. teen has nearly normal vision.

"I could see writing on a piece of paper from across the room," LaCroix said, describing the first time he put the glasses on. "I looked out the window and could see the street signs and all the signs on the buildings."

Jeff Fenton, eSight's director of marketing, said people often compare it to the visor worn by Geordie LaForge on Star Trek: The Next Generation — an instrument that allowed the LaForge character, who was totally blind, to see even better than people with normal vision.

11 Facts That Prove That The U.S. Economy In 2017 Is In Far Worse Shape Than It Was In 2016

There is much debate about where the U.S. economy is ultimately heading, but what everybody should be able to agree on is that economic conditions are significantly worse this year than they were last year. It is being projected that U.S. economic growth for the first quarter will be close to zero, thousands of retail stores are closing, factory output is falling, and restaurants and automakers have both fallen on very hard times. As economic activity has slowed down, commercial and consumer bankruptcies are both rising at rates that we have not seen since the last financial crisis. Everywhere you look there are echoes of 2008, and yet most people still seem to be in denial about what is happening. The following are 11 facts that prove that the U.S. economy in 2017 is in far worse shape than it was in 2016…

Striking new light phenomenon that experts have named STEVE in honour of children's film

A group of aurora enthusiasts have found a new type of light in the night sky and named it Steve.

Eric Donovan from the University of Calgary in Canada spotted the feature in photos shared on a Facebook group.

He did not recognise it as a catalogued phenomenon and although the group were calling it a proton arc, he knew proton auroras were not visible.

Testing showed it appeared to be a hot stream of fast-flowing gas in the higher reaches of the atmosphere.

The European Space Agency (ESA) sent electric field instruments to measure it 300km (190 miles) above the surface of the Earth and found the temperature of the air was 3,000C (5,432F) hotter inside the gas stream than outside it.

Inside, the 25km-wide ribbon of gas was flowing at 6 km/s (13,000mph), 600 times faster than the air on either side.

An Israel-American teen has been charged with 31 counts after allegedly threatening Jewish centers, schools and commercial flights across the US, hiding his voice with voice-modulating software.

Michael Ron David Kadar, 18, was arrested in Israel in March. A dual US citizen, he is being charged in Georgia and Florida, according to NBC News.
In one February 2017 call, Kadar promised that 'in a short time, a large number of "Jew children" were going to have their heads blown off from the shrapnel,' an FBI report alleged.

FAKE NEWS IN DEFENSE OF ZIONISM

Now, almost every day inflationary targeted pro-Israel articles are published in different German media. They voluntarily hide the word “occupation” and Zionist crimes. Apparently, the more than 45 million US-Dollar spent by the Israeli ministries for the Hasbara propaganda are worth it. It is understandable that a right-wing regime like the Netanyahu regime makes use of these methods as there is nothing Zionists fear more than the truth.

INTERVIEW ~~ SUPPORT FOR PALESTINIAN HUNGER STRIKERS CONTINUES TO GROW

couple of days ago, the leader of al Fatah, Marwan Barghouti, published his shocking article on New York Times. He had just started a legendary protest, called the “struggle of the empty stomachs”. Marwan has been able to start an extended non-violent struggle of at least 1.300 prisoners in Israeli prisons, a hunger strike. The objective is to show their reality to the rest of the world, and to make people understand what is going on in this land of denied rights. In his article published by New York Times Marwan attacks the Israeli military forces by using very hard words. The Zionist regime is responsible for the total absence and/or the daily violation of human rights, for daily physical and psychological torture, and also for bad food.

Bill Weinberg and the Progressives’ Tourette’s Syndrome

Apparently, New York ‘Progressive’ and Jewish activist, Bill Weinberg, thinks that I am “not welcome in NYC”. Over the last ten days, Weinberg has worked tirelessly, trying to cancel a panel discussion on 30th of April at Theatre 80 NYC, related to my forthcoming book ‘Being in Time’. Theatre 80’s owner, Lorcan Otway, has made it very clear that he won’t surrender to any calls for censorship, but still, Weinberg doesn’t seem to give up. He believes that it is he who will decide who is, and who is not, “welcome in NYC.”

"The more aggressive the Americans are the sooner they will see the final collapse of the dollar as the only way for the victims of American aggression to stop this aggression is to get rid of the dollar. As soon as we and China are through with the dollar, it will be the end of the United States’ military might," Sergey Glazyev said in an interview with TASS.

Did Russia Shoot Down US Missiles In Syria

In an exclusive video interview with RiskHedge, a long-time geopolitical expert says there is an alternate story making the rounds about the United States’ April 7 missile strike on Syria’s Shayrat Airbase in response to the Syrian regime’s alleged use of sarin gas on its own people.

“Not all missiles made their target,” says Dr. Theodore Karasik, a senior advisor to Gulf State Analytics. “There were supposed to be 60. One malfunctioned on one of the ships. 36 made target, the remainder did not. And, there’s a question of where did they go?”

Dr. Karasik, a former senior political scientist in the International Policy and Security Group at RAND Corporation, spent the last decade in the Middle East and retains an extensive network in the region.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Actually, 36 missed. Only 23 made the target. Of the 36 that missed, some are known to have hit three nearby villages.

Yesterday's Broad Power Outage Likely Caused By Geomagnetic Storm

Yesterday, a massive US power grid failure was seen across the entire United States in one simultaneous fashion. San Fransisco, New York, and Los Angeles were the three main areas that were hit the hardest. Each of the areas experienced challenges or shut downs in business commerce. Also, basic infrastructure such as communication networks, mass transportation, and supply chains experienced challenges. To many this seemed apocalyptic with anaylst citing possible cyber attacks amid mounting geopolitical turmoil across the globe. We’re shocked that mainstream media didn’t revive the failing Russian narrative for another round of fake news to confuse the masses. Personally, I don’t think it was a cyber attack or the Russians, but more of a Space Weather Event.

Federal Subsidies for Corn Ethanol and Other Corn-Based Biofuels

Since its creation of the domestic market for corn ethanol after the energy crisis of the 1970s, the federal government has nurtured and maintained the ethanol industry with a steady stream of subsidies. After more than 30 years of federal backing, corn ethanol subsidies scattered throughout the federal tax code and farm bill energy title should be eliminated once and for all. Originally sold as a way to achieve energy independence and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, ethanol has been a favorite of many lawmakers: ethanol producers have received favorable treatment under the tax code, tariff protection from foreign competition, and even a government mandate for its use. As a result, taxpayers have spent billions of dollars over the last 30 years subsidizing the production of corn ethanol, while at the same time creating unintended costs for consumers and the environment.

If You Can’t Reform – Just Blow The Budget Completely Apart

You really have to wonder how politicians ever come to these ideas that they have a right to discriminate and suppress anyone based solely upon what material things they possess. I would close up shop and just leave.

NZ scientists help find new undersea volcanoes

Kiwi scientists have helped discover incredible new submarine volcanoes in the Pacific Ocean - some rising up to 2.5km from the seafloor.

The discoveries were made by a team of international scientists who have just returned from a six-week voyage probing the volcanic Kermadec Arc, around 1000km northeast of the North Island.

Funded by the German government and led by scientists from Kiel-based GEOMAR and GNS Science, the project explored the seabed to provide new information about the dynamic geological history of New Zealand's offshore territory.

It aimed to investigate the Colville and Kermadec Ridges, the Havre Trough, and the Kermadec Trench, which is up to 10,000m deep and is where the Pacific and Australian tectonic plates collide.

The Disintegrating Energy Sector Will Make The Entire System Grind To A Halt

Very few Americans realize that the disintegrating energy industry will make the entire economy and market grind to a halt. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it because the time to transition has long gone, more than 20+ years ago.
