THE FILM ISRAEL DOES NOT WANT YOU TO SEE ~~ RACHEL

Israel and its watchdogs have been on special alert regarding criticisms coming from Jews and Jewish organisations. It’s almost as if they want the world at large to believe that all Jews stand behind them and support their policies of genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid. Anyone who is a regular reader of this Blog knows that nothing is further from the truth.

Welcome to Israel, the land of White Slavers, Body Snatchers and Drug Mules

Israel has failed to take adequate measures against human rights abuses of women who have been brought here and forced to provide sexual services, Amnesty International charged.

"This is so," a special Amnesty report on the trafficking of women from the former Soviet Union said, "even though many of them have been subjected to human rights abuses such as enslavement or torture, including rape and other forms of sexual abuse, by traffickers, pimps, or others involved in Israel's sex industry."

Amnesty International also criticized Israel for not providing a procedure to grant asylum to women who have been smuggled into the country often on the basis of false promises of work having nothing to do with sex.

Iran: If Israel attacks us, we'll hit its nuclear sites

The leader of Iran's Revolutionary Guards said on Saturday that Iran would strike Israel's nuclear facilities if Israel attacked it, state television reported.

"If the Zionist regime attacks Iran, we will surely strike its nuclear facilities with our missile capabilities," Mohammad Ali Jafari, Guards commander-in-chief, told Iran's Arabic language al-Alam television.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Note that Ali Jarfari is not at all talking about a pre-emptive strike, but a retaliatory strike, should Israel attack them.

One would hope that some adults in the room in Tel Aviv will think very seriously about the consequences of such an attack against Iran, geopolitically.

Russia's heads of state have mentioned that such an attack would bring on World War III.

The Great Tax Con Job

A very small niche of America's uber-wealthy have pulled off what may well be the biggest con job in the history of our republic, and they did it in a startlingly brief 30 or so years. True, they spent over three billion dollars to make it happen, but the reward to them was in the hundreds of billions - and will continue to be.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is an example of the false dichotomy of arguing over whether the rich or poor should pay more taxes.

We are ALL paying too much in taxes, period.

The lion's share of that money goes to build things that kill people, or payments on the vast debts created to enslave you to the Federal Reserve. any services you receive are paid for by the dregs not yet claimed by one or the other sharpster (like the global warming cult).

Bernanke: About 25 mega-firms are systemically significant

The White House proposal would establish a process to resolve large insolvent systemically significant financial institutions in a way that their collapse does not cause collateral damage to the financial markets.

The goal would be to pay off counterparties of an insolvent institution to deter any such damage arising in the markets. The proposal said the mechanism would be modeled after the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.'s approach to dismantling insolvent smaller banks, but it would be for larger systemically significant financial institutions.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In the last financial bailout, money was given to those institutions in which congress members were heavily invested, so that it wouldn't result in severe financial losses for those congress members.

And I would like to remind Bernake of one thing: ultimately, those bailouts are borne by the taxpayers, not the Fed. And We the People have had enough.

If these interconnected companies cannot remain solvent on their own, they should be allowed to fail, as should any other institution.

Small business owners have to make decisions every day about how to survive and stay afloat until things get better. One of those decisions is not spending more money than you have, and not wracking up huge amounts of debt.

Unfortunately, the hubris of larger companies making bad business decisions appears to know no bounds, secure in the belief that the Fed, from henceforward, will not let them fall.

Pelosi: $350,000 Is the New Middle Class

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is doing some magic math to make the budget numbers work for the proposed health care reform plan.

She now calls income of $350,000 "middle class."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ms. Pelosi seems to feel that a person's class is determined by their money. Pelosi typifies the American system of values in which our finest restaurants will seat mafia dons and CIA drug lords in their Armani jackets but would refuse a table to Gandhi and Mother Theresa because they don't meet the dress code.

Pelosi may be worth a half billion, but from where I stand she is about as low a class human being as can be found on the planet.

Biden Says Weakened Russia Will Bend to U.S.

Vice President Joe Biden said in an interview that Russia's economy is "withering," and suggested the trend will force the country to make accommodations to the West on a wide range of national-security issues, including loosening its grip on former Soviet republics and shrinking its vast nuclear arsenal.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Is it humanly possible for this man to open his mouth, and not be simultaneously tap dancing on his tonsils at warp speed?!?!?

All I can think about is the old song's opening line, "Don't know much about history..."

These comments betray an absolute, stunning ignorance of the great nationalistic sense of pride which is very much part and parcel of the Russian psyche.

Biden couldn't have been more counterproductive with these statements than if he had tried to be.

Or perhaps, one has to wonder, is rapprochement and a good working relationship with Russia really on the American agenda?

Wherever Rabbi Saul Kassin expected to be yesterday, it probably wasn’t in a federal booking room in Newark, New Jersey. Whether at his home in Gravesend, Brooklyn, or at his son’s palatial summer estate in Deal, New Jersey, Kassin was likely scheduled to spend the day receiving visitors, eating, and praying; instead, he wound up facing an array of money-laundering charges with some of his fellow rabbis and a clutch of local politicians nabbed in one of the biggest, and broadest, corruption cases ever.

Cheney pressed Bush to test Constitutional limits by using military force on US soil

According to a story in Friday’s New York Times, Vice-President Cheney advocated in 2002 for the Bush administration to send military troops to Buffalo to arrest the so-called Lackawanna Six as enemy combatants.

This would have violated both Fourth Amendment guarantees against search and seizure without probable cause and the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, which makes it illegal to use the military for law enforcement.

US stops giving militant death tolls in Afghanistan

The US military in Afghanistan has stopped releasing figures showing how many militants have been killed in fighting with US-led forces, officials said Friday.

Smith, who is revamping communications for the US military and the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, stressed US-led military operations were not aimed at killing insurgents.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Remember the "body count" days of the Vietnam War?

That was strictly for US domestic consumption, to assure the TV viewers that the huge human cost and tax burden to pursue that war was somehow justified.

And to make the statement that "..US-led military operations were not aimed at killing insurgents."?!?

I would like to remind Navy Rear Admiral Smith that the Afghans are not stupid. They know when their sons, daughters, mothers, and sisters and dads have been blown to smithereens to perhaps target one guy by a drone that someone was the target of that bombing.

The only thing further aerial bombardment of civilian populations is to further radicalize the Afghan people away from both the US and their government. In fact, Karzai's government is collectively believed to be so crooked they have to screw their socks on in the morning.

Phishing (also known as 419 scams), where criminals attempt to elicit payments or personal details by e-mail, are now well known, so practitioners are turning to telephone-based variants. In the most convincing version, the target is not asked for details on the spot, but told to call the bank’s “fraud department” on a specified security number. “Smishing” (SMS phishing) is the latest adaptatation, where initial contact is made by text message.

UK GDP falls faster than expected

The chancellor's forecasts for economic growth were blown out of the water official figures revealed Britain's economy contracted by a record 5.6% over the last year as output fell for a fifth straight quarter.

Dashing hopes that the steepest decline in growth since the 1930s might be nearing an end, the Office for National Statistics said gross domestic product – the total value of goods and services in the economy – fell by 0.8% in the three months to June. The size of the drop surprised the City, which had expected only a 0.3% decline following recent signs of a pickup in the housing market and strong growth in high street spending.

Healthcare Is a Good, Not a Right

Political philosopher Richard Weaver famously and correctly stated that ideas have consequences. Take for example ideas about rights versus goods. Natural law states that people have rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. A good is something you work for and earn. It might be a need, like food, but more “goods” seem to be becoming “rights” in our culture, and this has troubling consequences. It might seem harmless enough to decide that people have a right to things like education, employment, housing or healthcare. But if we look a little further into the consequences, we can see that the workings of the community and economy are thrown wildly off balance when people accept those ideas.

And got a ride for the next four years afterwards too. Just like you and me. And every time on election day all the little mice used to go to the ballot box and they used to elect a government. A government made up of big, fat, black cats.

U.S. admits it has no case against teen held at Guantanamo

The Justice Department conceded Friday that it lacks the evidence to hold a teenage Guantanamo detainee as an enemy combatant after a federal judge last week ruled that his confession was inadmissible.

n a hearing last week, U.S. District Judge Ellen Segal Huvelle ruled that Mohammed Jawad's confession to Afghan officials was inadmissible because it had been extracted through torture. She also questioned whether the Justice Department had any evidence to proceed with a trial to determine whether he can be held as an enemy combatant.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is going to be one of those guys who will probably be condemned to indefinite detention, just due to embarrassment on the part of a government who called him guilty because of a confession coerced through torture.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, trying to garner support against the pressures of the Obama administration, spoke to the group on Wednesday via satellite after a conversation earlier in the day with leaders of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.

He told the Christians for Israel, "For centuries, the relationship between Christians and Jews was marked by conflict rather than partnership and friendship. But this is changing…. Today millions of Christians stand with Israel because they stand for freedom; millions of Christians stand with Israel because they stand for truth; and millions of Christians stand with Israel because they want to see a genuine peace in the Holy Land.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Freedom"?!?!? "Truth"?!?!? I don't know what country about which Netanyahu is waxing poetic, but it is definitely not Israel.

And if Christian Zionists really knew what most Israelis thought about them, they would be shocked and chagrined.

The phrase by which Christians rooting for Israel, right or wrong, might be characterized by Israelis would probably be, at its kindest, "useful idiots".

Israel Concerned Over Hamas Plans for Gaza Aid

Defense officials expressed concern this week over recent developments in Gaza, particularly reports that Hamas is intimidating humanitarian organizations, and has begun working more closely with the United Nations. There is evidence to suggest that Hamas may get its hands on billions of dollars meant as humanitarian aid for Gaza civilians, they said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation: Israel is terrified that if Hamas does control aid into Gaza, it might actually get to the people who so desperately need it!

MUST READ~CRITICIZING ISRAEL TO BE ILLEGAL

Today Israeli Zionists are tightening their grip even MORE on our freedom of speech.Israel will use this to take the cause to America next. Very serious stuff to report today, we are loosing our right to free speech against Israel. A Zionist “think tank” in England that has US ties is submitting a report to re-define the term “Anti-Semitism” and make those “new terms” illegal. Sit down, take a deep breath and get ready to be stunned.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel just hit the panic button.

US to phase out Israel-coveted F-22

US Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced Monday that the Pentagon plans to end production of the F-22 Raptor, a top-of-the-line stealth aircraft that Israel has long coveted.

Is this why the US Congress tried to vote through the money for more of these jets, to make sure they were available for Israel?!?!?

Israel rejects French calls to freeze settlements

The Israeli government has rejected France's demand to halt Jewish settlement activity and to reopen border crossings into the impoverished Gaza Strip.

On Thursday, France summoned the Israeli ambassador to France, Daniel Shek, to demand an immediate freeze on settlement activities and for the crossings into Gaza to be reopened to allow Gaza rebuild itself after Israel's deadly war in January.

The settlements are built on the land Israel occupied in the 1967 Middle East war and are in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which says the occupying power is not allowed to transfer citizens from its own territory to the occupied territory.

All U.S. children should get seasonal flu shot: CDC

All U.S. children aged 6 months to 18 years should get a seasonal influenza vaccine every year, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As reported at:

http://www.prisonplanet.com/squalene-the-swine-flu-vaccine%E2%80%99s-d...

"The U.S. government has contracts with several drug companies to develop and produce swine flu vaccines. At least two of those companies, Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline, are using an adjuvant in their H1N1 vaccines."

The adjuvant? Squalene."

The negative effects of squalene have been noted since 1987 in terms of causing severe autoimmune diseases.

As reported here:

http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=13925

"Squalene "contributed to the cascade of reactions called "Gulf War syndrome. (GIs developed) arthritis, fibromyalgia, lymphadenopathy, rashes, photosensitive rashes, malar rashes, chronic fatigue, chronic headaches, abnormal body hair loss, non-healing skin lesions, aphthous ulcers, dizziness, weakness, memory loss, seizures, mood changes, neuropsychiatric problems, anti-thyroid effects, anemia, elevated ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate), systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, ALS, Raynaud's phenomenon, Sjorgren's syndrome, chronic diarrhea, night sweats and low-grade fever."

"Matsumoto's book includes numerous case studies of GIs afflicted with one or more of the above syndromes, their devastating effects, and the outlandish US government reaction - failing to acknowledge their existence or a connection between them and administered vaccines. Also denying the effects of other toxic Gulf theater exposures (like depleted uranium) as well as withholding meaningful treatments or protocols."

Corporate Media Spotlights Distortion of Market by High Frequency Trading

The New York Times hits the issue pretty strongly, writing:
Nearly everyone on Wall Street is wondering how hedge funds and large banks like Goldman Sachs are making so much money so soon after the financial system nearly collapsed. High-frequency trading is one answer [My Comment: Tyler Durden has shown that Goldman Sachs is by far the largest program trader in the market, twice as large as the next biggest. Tyler also publicized the issue of high frequency trading long before almost anyone else, so I am really just summarizing what he has previously said] ...

Yet high-frequency specialists clearly have an edge over typical traders, let alone ordinary investors. The Securities and Exchange Commission says it is examining certain aspects of the strategy.

Russia warns Georgia: no rearming

RUSSIA has warned it will not allow Georgia to rearm and will sever military co-operation with any country that supplies Tbilisi with weapons.

The warning came amid signs that Georgia had sounded out the US about rebuilding its military during a visit to Georgia by the US Vice-President, Joe Biden.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That message was aimed right at the US, in light of Biden's bungling "foot in mouth" visit to Tbilisi.

US: We will not use sanctions against Israel

The US state department stressed on Friday that President Obama is not at all considering to impose economic sanctions on Israel when it fails to comply with US demands to end construction in settlements. The US is also not willing to consider mounting international pressure on Israel.

Webmaster's Commentary:

No matter how many times Netanyahu's government spits in Obama's face and tells him it's raining on the settlement issue, Obama will not use the one weapon he could potentially use for some leverage: US aid, both financial and military, to Israel.

By having that statement made by a State Department Official, Obama has just conceded that no matter what Israel does to the Palestinians (murder, siege, burning their crops, or evicting them and building illegal settlements where Palestinians used to live), he is catastrophically impotent when it comes to being an honest broker for peace.

Unflipping believable!

Continuity in Kyrgyzstan: The Same Old Imperial Game Goes On

The New York Times tells us that the ongoing political crackdown in America's Terror War ally Kyrgyzstan is an example of the difficult "challenge" faced by the Obama administration as it seeks to "balance" its strategic needs with its "concerns" for human rights.

But of course this is not a "challenge" at all. It's remarkably simple. When you are conducting wars of imperial domination in far-flung, hard-to-access lands, you must keep the local satraps sweet -- unless or until you can replace them with your own hand-picked stooges. Everything else is just window dressing for the rubes back home.

Never Interrupt This President While He's Making A Mistake

Fast forward to ObamaCare. Republican Senator Jim De Mint said, "If we're able to stop Obama on this, it will be his Waterloo. It will break him."

The Waterloo allegory symbolizes a turning point in Obama’s struggle to impose government-run health care on Americans. The infamous Battle of Waterloo effectively ended Napoleon Bonaparte’s military career.

Napoleon believed in government "for" the people and rejected the concept of government "by" the people. His France was a police state with a vast network of secret police and spies. The police shut down plays containing any hint of disagreement or criticism of the government. The press was controlled by the state. It was impossible to express an opinion without Napoleon's approval. Sound vaguely familiar?

CRIMINAL RABBIS

With rabbis being carted off to jail for taking part in criminal activities, including money laundering and organ harvesting and sales, the American Jewish community is facing a crisis.

Who will conduct their marriages?
Who will teach their sons the Bar Mitzvah prayers?
Who will officiate at their funerals?
These are real problems. How could the so called religious leaders of these people abandon their flock?

Last year it was the kosher food industry that was in jeopardy due to unethical practices taking place in their largest slaughterhouse. What’s wrong with these people?

The Case of the ‘Fatwa’ to Rig Iran’s Election

So, accusations that the U.S. is interfering in Iran are true. But acknowledging that would be strategically unwise. “Our effort” – and by “our” Zakaria presumably includes journalists like himself – should not be to report the truth (drawing the obvious corollary), but to work to discredit anyone who observes that the long arm of the U.S. has certainly not been withdrawn from Iranian affairs.

From the entrance of the house, one can observe the whole tragedy. On 6 January 2009, an Israeli artillery shell landed in the front yard of the Deeb family home in the Jabaliya refugee camp in the northern Gaza strip. A large, wide hole in the ground and two missing walls are all that remain. Sitting in his wheelchair in the corner, Ziad, 22, is the last survivor of the Deeb family. He lost both legs during the attack, and 10 relatives were killed including his father, grandmother, brothers, nieces and nephews.

FEMA to Conduct Massive NLE 09 Martial Law Exercise Next Week

Earlier this week, the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Craig Fugate met with several state governors to discuss “emergency preparedness,” according to a press release posted on FEMA’s website. “FEMA is committed to protecting and assisting our states and citizens during disasters,” said Fugate. “By working together and strengthening relationships at the state level, we can continue to build the national emergency response team which includes FEMA, as well as state, local, tribal and federal partners, the private sector and faith-based organizations. The work we are putting in now to build this team will go a long way during the next disaster.”

Preparations are now underway for FEMA’s NLE 09.

52 percent of U.S. soldiers wounded in Iraq, Afghanistan diagnosed with TBI

Some 52 percent of soldiers severely injured in Iraq and Afghanistan who have come to the U.S. Army's largest hospital for treatment have been diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), an internal study has found.

The U.S. Department of Defense began conducting cognitive ability tests on all military personnel to be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan in November 2007. The servicemen and women who took the tests began returning from their combat tours early this year, allowing for greater chances of discovering a TBI and probably leading to the increased numbers of diagnosed cases.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These tests were only started two years ago?!?

I want every one of our returning Vets, experiencing physical and/or mental problems as a result of combat, to get precisely the same level of first-class care care our congress members get for life.

Our Vets deserve this; I can't really say with any enthusiasm that our congress members actually do.

The Reality of Israel’s ‘Open’ Jerusalem

"Our policy is that Jerusalem residents can purchase apartments anywhere in the city," he said. "There is no ban on Arabs buying apartments in the west of the city, and there is no ban on Jews building or buying in the city’s east."

According to experts, however, the reality is that in both a practical and legal sense Mr Netanyahu’s "open city" is a fiction, extended only to the settlers and not to Mrs Khurd or to the 250,000 other Palestinians of East Jerusalem.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Netanyahu believes if he tells the "big lie" about an allegedly "open Jerusalem" long enough, the world will actually believe him.

Thinking people, looking at the situation on the ground, however, know better.

The War on Terror is a Zionist racket

The Americans were responsible for creation of a gangster state headed by an utterly unscrupulous set of leaders,” – Sir John Troutbeck wrote in his letter to the foreign secretary, Ernest Bevin on June 2, 1948.

“Of course the people don’t want war….but after all, it’s the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it’s always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether, it’s a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a parliament or a Communist dictatorship,” – Dr. Herman Georing, Hitler’s propaganda minister.

The former British Minister of Environment, Michael Meacher, in his article titled The war on terrorism is bogus (Guardian, September 6, 2003) – wrote that the 9/11 attacks gave the US an ideal pretext to use force to secure its world domination.

From Iraq to Afghanistan, US Wars Not Going According to Plan

The growing opinion in Europe is that Afghanistan is the United States’ "new Vietnam." The truth is that it is worse than Vietnam.

In Vietnam, the United States had a clearly identified enemy, supported by a responsible Communist state in North Vietnam with its government in Hanoi. The U.S. had a theory about what it was doing: suppressing the insurrection in the South, and bombing North Vietnam until the government stopped the war. All of this was, in principle, possible.

However the U.S. acted on a nonsensical theory about the world "going Communist" if the U.S. didn’t win, just as today the U.S. has an even more nonsensical theory about radical Islam conquering Muslim Asia and all of Europe, and then attacking the U.S., if Washington fails.

12,000 U.S. Children To Be Swine Flu Vaccine Guinea Pigs

Around 12,000 U.S. children will be used as guinea pigs for an experimental swine flu vaccine known to contain the dangerous ingredient squalene, which has been directly linked with cases of Gulf War Syndrome and a host of other debilitating diseases.

According to a report in the Oklahoman, 12,000 children nationwide will partake in “fast-tracked studies” to test the side-effects of the untested swine flu vaccine in trials set to begin next month.

Webmaster's Commentary:
