Ukraine sends foreign mercenary snipers against Donbass

The Intelligence Service of the Donetsk People's Republic reports the arrival of a division of Ukrainian militants to the south-west of Donetsk and the arrival of foreign snipers at the southern sector of the front. This was told to the journalists by the deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin. "According to the information available to us, the enemy is carrying out an intensification of the units of the 92nd mechanized brigade south-west of Donetsk that had lost their combat capability. To this end, a National Guard unit arrived in Ugledar in the number of 150 fighters, reinforced with two tanks and four armored personnel carriers," said Basurin. In addition, the arrival of ten snipers from a foreign private military company was noted near the village of Pavlopol in the direction of Mariupol.

Ukrainian Army uses arson on Donetsk civilian village of Spartak

Today at 17:20 (Moscow time), Ukrainian servicemen deliberately set fire to dry fields near the village of Spartak. After 30 minutes the fire approached the first line of houses. This was reported by a source in the operational command of the Donetsk People's Republic. "The arriving firefighters from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Donetsk Peoples Republic can not begin to extinguish the fire, since the Ukrainian soldiers opened fire with grenade launchers and small arms towards the settlement, preventing the rescue of civilian dwellings from the flames. "These actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces can be regarded as continuing the genocide of the peaceful population of Donbass," the command of the Republic stated. Earlier, the intelligence service of the Donetsk People's Republic reported the arrival of a division of Ukrainian militants to the south-west of Donetsk and foreign snipers to the southern sector of the front.

Russian vice-speaker urges UN to discuss US-led coalition’s strike on Raqqa hospital

Earlier on Saturday, reports came that on August 3 the coalition’s forces used phosphorus bombs to attack a hospital in Raqqa. The hospital bombarded with 20 shells was flattened. Nearby vehicles were also destroyed. No terrorists were reported to have been present in the hospital at the time of the air strike. The United Nations should have discussions about the US-led coalition’s attack on a hospital in the Syrian city of Raqqa, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma (lower house of Russia’s parliament) Irina Yarovaya said on Saturday. "It is time to conduct post-flight analysis both in literal and figurative meanings and work out whether it was either total incompetence and criminal negligence or a disguised intention to destroy those who are not terrorists," the lawmaker said. Another air strike of the coalition’s warplanes on a civilian facility raises a question "how long will the coalition help terrorists to bomb and destroy Syria?

UNSC unanimously backs new sanctions against North Korea

The UN Security Council has imposed fresh sanctions on North Korea over the country’s recent missile tests. The sanctions were unanimously backed by the council’s 15 members, including Russia and China. The document bans North Korean exports of minerals and other raw materials and goods, including coal, iron, lead and seafood. The countries that had struck deals with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) are to complete imports of previously bought raw materials and goods within 30 days starting from August 5, the day the resolution was passed. The resolution bans new joint ventures with North Korea and additional investments in existing joint ventures. Under the resolution, countries are not allowed to employ any new North Korean workers. Besides, the document bars ships, designated by a UN Security Council special committee as responsible for breaking sanctions, to enter ports all over the world, except emergency cases.

More than 800 children given sex change drugs on NHS

Young people who are convinced they are living in the wrong body are receiving hormonal injections to stop the onset of puberty and make sex change operations easier.

According to a Mail on Sunday investigation more than 600 children were undergoing treatment from the NHS' Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) clinic in London, and a further 200 in Leeds.

The lower age limit of 16 was scrapped in 2014 meaning any child in the early stages of puberty with gender dysphoria can now be considered for treatment - meaning some children as young as 10 are eligible.

McMaster: Threat of North Korean nuclear weapon strike "impossible to overstate"

This is why we should worry about this guy,not a tempest in a teapot over NSC staffers getting fired or renewing every living NSC heads security clearance per 70 year old sop, when Trump was makin nice with Hillary early on.

More war and any ole war will do.

National security adviser H.R. McMaster said Saturday the threat of North Korea launching a nuclear weapon at the U.S. or another rival nation is “impossible to overstate” and repeated that a preemptive military strike remains an option.

“It’s impossible to overstate the danger associated with a rogue, brutal regime,” McMaster told Hugh Hewitt on the conservative commentator’s MSNBC TV show.

“Are we preparing a plan for a preventive war? … The president has been very clear that he’s not going to tolerate North Korea being able to threaten the U.S. … So of course we have to provide all options to do that, and that includes a military option,” McMaster said.

Why Killing the Iran Deal Could Start the next War in the Middle East

There are troubling signs that the Trump administration is itching for a fight with Iran. While the White House recently certified that Tehran was complying with the nuclear deal, fresh sanctions and thinly veiled references to regime change should raise serious concern that the administration will be searching for any excuse to avoid recertifying Iran’s compliance come the next review in October. In fact, President Donald Trump tasked a team in the White House with coming up with reasons to withhold certification at the next opportunity. And in a July 25 interview with the Wall Street Journal Trump prejudged the October outcome, saying he fully expected Iran to be declared noncompliant.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The extent Israel's Bibi Netanyahu is pressuring Trump to make this happen has to be immense; after all, Israel has always wanted its greatest "existential threat" in the Middle East to get "neutralized", but only through the costs of American blood, and American money.

So Mr. President, a word of caution here, please: a US attack against Iran will almost certainly bring Russia into the fray, on the side of Iran; and at this point in its history, the US military does not have the money; the troop strength; the manufacturing; or the weaponry to insure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia.

The sanctions Congress has placed against Iran are completely insane, because the actions Iran is taking with its missiles were never deemed illegal under the P5+1 agreement, with which the IAEA (no slouches, intellectually, BTW) have found Iran in full compliance.

Will Netanyahu Bring Back Executions?

There is no death penalty in Israel. It was abolished during the first years of the state, when the execution of Jewish underground fighters (called "terrorists" by the British) was still fresh in everybody’s mind.

But a few days ago, somebody remembered that the death penalty was not really quite abolished. An obscure paragraph in the military code has remained in force. Now there is an outcry for its application.

The occasion is the murder of three members of a Jewish family in a settlement. The Arab assailant was wounded but not killed on the spot, as usually happens.

The entire right-wing clique that governs Israel now broke out in a chorus of demands for the death penalty. Binyamin Netanyahu joined the chorus, as did most members of his cabinet.

From whatever angle one looks at it, the death sentence is a barbaric and stupid measure. It has been abolished by all civilized countries, except some US states (which can hardly be called civilized.)

Nearly 50 Senators Want To Make It a Felony To Boycott Israel

In 1966, the NAACP of Claiborne County, Mississippi launched a boycott of several white-owned local businesses on the basis of racial discrimination.

It was so impactful that the local hardware store filed a lawsuit against the individuals and organizations who coordinated the boycott. After 10 long years of litigation, the Mississippi Supreme Court ruled in favor of the white businesses and ordered the NAACP to pay for all their lost earnings.

Years later, in 1982, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 8-0 to overturn the lower court’s decision on the basis that nonviolent boycotts are a form of free speech protected by the First Amendment. In announcing the unanimous decision, Justice John Paul Stevens said, “One of the foundations of our society is the right of individuals to combine with other persons in pursuit of a common goal by lawful means.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

To all the members of Congress supporting this bill; kindly move to Israel, and run for the Knesset.

You have made it painfully obvious that you no longer represent your alleged constituents, loathe the First Amendment, and that your loyalties are to Israel, and AIPAC.

Saudi Airstrike Kills Nine Civilians, Mostly Children, in Northern Yemen

A pre-dawn Saudi airstrike against the predominantly Shi’ite city of Saada, in northern Yemen, has destroyed a home and killed nine civilians, six of them children. Saudi officials have yet to comment on why the house was attacked.

This has been a problem throughout the Saudi war in Yemen, however, with airstrikes killing a massive number of civilians, particularly in Shi’ite parts of the country, and despite repeated promises to improve their targeting, it keeps happening.

Residents in the area took quite some time to even start picking through the ruins of the house to recover the bodies, noting that the Saudi warplanes which attacked continued to circle overhead long after, raising fears they’d attack anyone trying to rescue survivors, which has also been common practice in the Saudi air war.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Hey, killing innocent women and children, do not follow the denomination of Islam we follow; its what we do!!" - Official Saudi Souse.

And those Yemenis had good reason to fear a "double tap" strike on the house; this is something the Saudi military has been trained to do, courtesy of their US military trainers.

Folks, I have to tell you; I am getting very tired of being a citizen of a country which is enabling the Saudi military in the commission of war crimes in Yemen.

Mike and I would love to emigrate to another, more civilised country, which doesn't stoop to this kind of behaviour; unfortunately, we are both too old... and way too broke... to make that happen.

US Troops Are on the Ground in Yemen for al-Qaeda Offensive: Pentagon Won't Rule Out More Troops Being Sent in Coming Weeks

A day after the US was reported to have participated in an anti al-Qaeda offensive in southern Shabwa Province of Yemen, the Pentagon is confirming that a “small number” of US ground troops have been deployed into Yemen for an ongoing operation against the al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) force.

Details are still scant, but the operation is said to be taking place across central Yemen in a major al-Qaeda stronghold. The Pentagon said the main purposes of their presence is “intelligence sharing,” at least for now.

That’s because the Pentagon said they are not ruling out sending even more troops into Yemen in the coming weeks, as they appear to intend to continue escalating the fight against AQAP, in an offensive which apparently is being coordinated with the United Arab Emirates.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Raining more WMDs and death on the Yemeni people is not something the US military should be doing, no matter what the alleged "good reason" is for it.

U.S. PREPARED TO LAUNCH ‘PREVENTIVE WAR’ AGAINST NORTH KOREA, SAYS H.R. MCMASTER

The United States is preparing for all options to counter the growing threat from North Korea, including launching a “preventive war,” national security adviser H.R. McMaster said in an interview with MSNBC that aired Saturday. The comments come following North Korea carrying out two tests of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) last month.

Related: A North Korea Attack Would Take Out Los Angeles, Chicago or New York, And Be The Deadliest In U.S. History

The worst case scenario on this I can see here, is that of China providing military assistance to North Korea, in the case of a US attack against it.

Swamp for Trump: Third US President vows to win 16-year Afghan War

Clearly frustrated by the Pentagon’s ineffective strategies, Donald Trump has vowed to fire some of his top generals and aggressively gain ground in Afghanistan. But will the US president be able to prevail in a 16-year war where his two predecessors failed?

Dragging on longer than the Vietnam and Iraq campaigns, Afghanistan is becoming yet another swamp Trump wants to drain in keeping with his colorful election campaign. George W. Bush presided over the two post-9/11 military interventions in Afghanistan and Iraq and Barack Obama promised to end them – but the everlasting Afghan war relentlessly rolls on.

During a high-profile situation room meeting in July, Trump reportedly told his national security team it's time for a rapid breakthrough in Afghanistan.

“We are not winning,” he said, as cited in an NBC report. “We are losing.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr.President, a word please; and right now, what you really need to realise here is that those who do not understand the past are doomed to repeat it, and no where is that more critically true than with the current state of affairs in Afghanistan.

You need to begin to educate yourself on why George Bush invaded Afghanistan in the first place, and no, it had absolutely nothing to do with Osama Bin Laden. The following article may shed some light for you:

why did the US really go to war in Afghanistan? The pipeline to 9/11

Bush invaded Afghanistan to control the pipelines there, and attempt to control all the pipelines in Central Asia and ultimately through the entire Middle East.

He went in with far too troops, betting on weapons of mass destruction to "neutralize" the Afghanis, but yet for all the physical and psychological damage these weapons produced, they never really did the job. As reported at zerohedge.com:

A psychologist, Jaffar Ahmadi, described that such blasts spawn psychological disorders and fear among the affected population. The stricken people, he says, feel petrified and insecure. According to data, MOAB annihilates living things within a range of five km and its effects persist in air for decades. It also robs away oxygen for inhalation in a matter of several km from epicenter.

The Kabul-based Killid Group ventured into villages where MOAB-hit people had a ton of words to utter. A resident of Asad Khil village, Ghazeer, said that the bomb has born health hazards. He told Killid group:

“My Children are scared to sleep at night. Our skin is itching; small spots have appeared on the bodies of all people here. Our throats hurt. We are scared”

Another interviewee from the same village, Noor Bibi told the media group that the fierce explosion has almost blinded her. She acknowledges that:

“The bomb turned people blind and deaf. I can’t see anything, my skin is itching, my four grandchildren have chest problems and they also complain about their eyes.

In 2001, a day after the US soldiers first set foot in Afghanistan and captured Bagram airbase, it aerially attacked the final Al-Qaeda sanctuaries in notorious Tora Bora district in eastern Afghanistan. The air campaign continued until December 6 so intensely that a missile would land every two minute. It incurred great human fatalities and extensive financial loss. According to history records, the explosions would produce ear-splitting sound that caused ear-bleeding in many districts.

Sometime later, investigations found that the US had used short-range nuclear missiles. It left behind scores of creepy instances such as a drop in animal breeding in the area, a dramatic fall in agricultural products, and a few goats gave birth to defective babies.

Some British media reported that radioactive materials have also been observed in the area. Following the US bombings in many southern provinces, several babies were born eerily unlike normal humans, which doctors associated with the existence of radioactive material.

Mr. President, the excrement sandwich with which you are left in Afghanistan was absolutely not your fault; my sense is, you never would have personally ordered the invasion of this country, and would have continued on the path of negotiation with the Taliban to secure the pipeline rights.

The cost in American blood, and American money, 16 years on, has been staggering.

If military planners are brutally honest with you, they will inform you that it will take hundreds of thousands of troops to create a military victory here.

We just don't have those numbers, sir, with our other military deployments and commitments around the world: and that is the unequivocal truth, if you are looking at a military victory as "the only way" with which to achieve the US government's goals here in Afghanistan, the US military will have to scale back many of our other defense commitments.

But perhaps, is there another way to achieve the US government's goals?!?

And the answer is, yes, absolutely!!

What the US and NATO should do, is to withdraw their troops as quickly as is safely possible, then negotiate with whatever government is left standing in Kabul for the pipeline and mineral rights.

That control, Mr. President, based on monetary negotiations, is a win for the American economy, the American oil industry, and the American people.

I am honestly begging you not to be the lulled into believing that a military victory is possible without throwing hundreds of thousands of troops into the fray here; I am asking you to be that very smart, professionally shrewd man I supported for the Presidency in last November's election.

Catholic Church Embroiled In Nearly 100 Lawsuits Over Sexual Abuse In Guam

Many of the instances of sexual abuse alleged in these lawsuits previously went unreported, as the defendants allegedly used their positions as figures of spiritual and political authority to prey on vulnerable children. Those allegedly abused said the piety of the local population and the threat of retribution from their local church authorities discouraged them from telling anyone.

“I thought about it a million times, but I was scared to tell them, especially my mom,” a man identified as R.B. told the PDF. “She’s a die-hard Catholic. If I tell her a priest did that to me, I don’t think she would believe me.”

Joelle Casteix, regional director of Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP), said alleged victims of abuse in Guam were silenced by threats of alienation from their community, loss of jobs, and threats against their family members. Casteix first traveled to Guam in 2009 after one of the priests’ alleged victims called her.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Pedophilia in the Catholic church is an institutional mental illness, which, unfortunately, Pope Francis has been entirely useless in really weeding out.

And the reality here, is that this faith may ultimately get collectively sued out of existence because of this.

Would this be so horrifically prevalent if priests were mandated to be married, even up to the rank of Pope, rather than celibate?!?

I would tend to think not.

North Korea's 'No. 2' official on 10-day visit to Iran that may signal wider military ties

Amid new U.S. sanctions, North Korea's "No. 2" official began a 10-day visit to Iran on Thursday that could result in the two sides expanding their ties.

Iran's official IRNA news agency reported Kim Yong Nam, chairman of the Supreme Assembly of North Korea, arrived Thursday for the weekend inauguration ceremony for Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

But given the head of North Korea's parliament is expected to stay for 10 days in Iran, the trip is being seen as a front for other purposes, including expanding military cooperation. At the same time, Pyongyang is looking for ways to counter sanctions and to boost the hard currency for Kim Jong Un's regime.

Webmaster's Commentary:

US-sanctioned countries see a value in working together, against that entity which has sanctioned them; this is a completely reasonable, and normal development.

And President Trump, a word, please: sanctioning countries (like Iran) for what they absolutely have not done (like alleging them to have violated the P5+1, which the IAEA has stated unequivocally they have not), draws them closer to other US-sanctioned countries like Russia, and soon, China.

So sir, please look for a rapid escalation in the dropping of the US dollar in international trade, and you, and Congress, have no one but yourselves to blame!!

McCain’s Death Bed Secret Just Came Out About Who He Killed After Skeleton Suddenly Resurfaces

According to eye witnesses that day, whose accounts were predictably buried by the Navy due to John McCain’s familial ties to two 4-star admirals, McCain decided to be a show off, by doing a “wet start” of his jet. This reckless maneuver makes fuel build up in the engine before the plane is started. The result is a flame erupting from the tail of the plane, that’s accompanied by a startling amount of noise. After McCain started his engine in this manner, the electrical surge of this maneuver subsequently caused the accidental launching of a powerful Zuni rocket across the carrier’s deck, that hit two other parked planes that were packing 1,000-pound highly-explosive bombs.

The fire then caused a chain reaction of bombs to detonate, causing explosions that went several decks below. The ensuing explosions nearly sank the 82,000-ton U.S. aircraft carrier, with the fire fatally consuming 134 sailors aboard the Forrestal.

Cut the Americans off from space? Here’s how Russia might respond to new US sanctions

There is one area where the Kremlin can markedly damage Washington’s interests, without much economic pain. And that’s in the realm of space. Because since the shuttle Atlantis staged its last flight, in 2011, NASA has been entirely reliant on Soyuz launchers to reach the cosmos. Should Putin decide to cancel agreements where Americans hitch a ride on Russian-led trips, for the first time in decades, US astronauts will be completely earth bound.

Also, the cost to Russia wouldn’t be much. At $80 million a seat, dropping Americans from the flights won’t break the bank. Plus, to make matters worse for the US, Boeing, which is developing its own proposed rival to Soyuz, is reliant on Russian rocket engines.

EU removes video featuring Israeli genocide advocate

The European Union embassy in Tel Aviv has removed from its Facebook page an official EU promotional video featuring Avishai Ivri, an Israeli “comedian” who incites genocidal levels of violence against Palestinians.
