France and Israël launch a new war in Iraq and Syria

This is a good article with a lot to digest!

On one hand, the French government is mobilising all its media in order to keep its population focused on the attacks of the 13th November. On the other, with Israël, it is launching a new war in Iraq and Syria. The objective is no longer to overthrow the secular Syrian régime, nor to destroy its army, but to create a colonial state straddling the border between Iraq and Syria, to be managed by the Kurds, in order to apply a stranglehold on the Arab states. The dream of an Israeli nation between the Nile and the Euphrates is back.

Presidents Putin and Obama concluded an agreement to destroy the Erdo?an family’s tankers, thereby putting an end to the petrol trafficking. On the same day, and for the first time in eighteen months, the US Central Command bombed the tanker-trucks in Iraq, while the Russian army destroyed a massive number in Syria [3].

Worst nightmare of NATO: Turkey knocked her dream of EU

"The expression "stab in the back" is quite sharp. It's not the most diplomatic wording. Moreover, the current situation is the worst nightmare of NATO, says correspondent BBC Chris Morris. — Turkey has put its allies, linked by the fifth article of the NATO Charter, to the brink of conflict with nuclear power"... Ukraine is the only country whose representative was quick to endorse the actions of the Turkish military...From the point of view of morality and values, Turkey is generally quite a strange member of NATO, the only one who does not share the same democratic principles, which is intended to protect the Alliance. On 25 October, the European Commission prepared a report on this topic... It will be published soon. Recently Angela Merkel was forced to go to Ankara to meet with Erdogan. In exchange for a promise to hold refugees, she promised to unfreeze the accession process to the EU, which actively resists, incidentally, France. Now Brussels has become a concern.

The government may declare victory in wars started in foreign lands, but for the people who live in small towns in this land the results are barely distinguishable from defeat. Lives are lost, families destroyed, futures shattered, hopes ruined; all this is the price paid by the people for the "foreign entanglements" we were long ago warned to avoid. The real price of war is paid not just by those who died in it, but by those who are left behind who bury their dead and pay the bills.

And now it may happen again. Having bred a new generation of soldiers far too young to know what their service in war costs their own families, the present administration is trying to start a war of conquest, to barter the surplus population of "useless eaters" for even more wealth and power. And if the leaders obtain that wealth and power they will declare victory, while the people of America who live in towns like the one I grew up in will salve their grief with cheap ribbons and plaques.

Turkey Has Destroyed Russia’s Hope Of Western Cooperation — Paul Craig Roberts

Turkey’s unprovoked shoot-down of a Russian military aircraft over Syria raises interesting questions. It seems unlikely that the Turkish government would commit an act of war against a much more powerful neighbor unless Washington had cleared the attack. Turkey’s government is not very competent, but even the incompetent know better than to put themselves into a position of facing Russia alone.

If the attack was cleared with Washington, was Obama bypassed by the neocons who control his government, or is Obama himself complicit? Clearly the neoconservatives are disturbed by the French president’s call for unity with Russia against ISIL and easily could have used their connections to Turkey to stage an event that Washington can use to prevent cooperation with Russia.

It Wasn't Us - Pentagon Shrugs At "Exaggerating, Sloppy, Uncaring" Russian Jet Shootdown

The Pentagon's army colonel Steve Warren has made it clear how Washington feels about the unraveling situation in Syria. In not so many words, Warren explained 'not our problem', pointing out the Russian jet shootdown is "a Russia-Turkey issue," and that US was not ionvolved. He then quickly moved on to the propaganda section of the briefing, explaining how "sloppy, uncaring" Russia was "exaggerating" its achievements in Syria.

The Pentagon explains, it wasn't us...

“Our Turkish Allies informed us that their military aircraft shot down a Russian military aircraft near the Syrian border after it violated Turkish airspace on Tuesday. At this time, we can confirm that US forces were not involved in this incident,” the official said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Although it has not yet been declared, it feels to me as though we are hearing the opening salvos to World War III with this incident.

Both Russian pilots were able to eject, but got assassinated by US-sponsored rebels- as reported today by zerohedge.com:

If Putin was angry when Turkey shot down a Russian plane, which may or may not have crossed Turkish territory - reports on both sides are conflicting - he will be absolutely livid to learn that, according to Turkey's Dogan News, the Russian pilots who had parachuted in an attempt to save their lives after the plane was shot down, had been executed while parachuting down by local rebels, which considering the video released earlier belonged to the Free Syrian Army, are same "rebels" who are funded directly by the CIA.

We will have to see how the Russian, Turkish, NATO, and American media attempt to shape the narrative here.

But there is one thing of which I am absolutely certain, and that is: something wicked this way comes, and in the not too distant future, either.

And a short memo to Colonel Warren: the United States government is responsible for the deaths of these two Russia pilots, courtesy of the training provided to the US-government backed Fee Syrian Army

Obama: Turkey has the right to defend itself and its airspace

Turkey's downing of a Russian fighter plane shouldn't lead to further wartime escalation in the region, President Barack Obama insisted at a press conference Tuesday.

British Airways pilot suffered a burnt retina after a 'military strength' laser was shone into the cockpit of his plane as he came in to land at Heathrow

A British Airways pilot suffered 'significant' eye damage when a laser was shone into the cockpit of a plane landing at Heathrow Airport, damaging his retina.

Jim McAuslan, general secretary of the British Airline Pilots Association, said a 'military strength' device was used, causing the most serious injury ever inflicted upon a pilot in the UK during a laser attack.

'His retina was burnt on one of his eyes,' Mr McAuslan said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Note that a military strength laser was used, which suggests this was a stunt to justify banning laser pointers for ordinary people. The laser pointers used by lecturers and experimenters are not true lasers. The beams diverge slightly and at the distance from the ground to a landing aircraft the beams are quite wide. It is also very difficult to aim such a laser accurately by hand which suggests this military strength laser was mounted with an aiming device ... in other words, it was a military laser!

Now, remember when the people of Egypt kicked out US puppet ruler Mobarak? A military helicopter flying over the crowd was hit with thousands of hand held laser pointers.

The helicopter suffered no damage and did not even change its path. Clearly, hand held lasers are not a threat to pilots, so why is there a rush to ban them? So that people cannot maker improvised laser sites for their guns?

A Russian rescue helicopter was shot down by Syrian ‘moderate’ jihadist rebels, as the Russian rescue team was searching for the missing pilots who ejected during NATO member Turkey’s troubling attack on the Russian Su-25 jet.

Insurgents used anti-tank US TOW missiles to attack the rescue chopper, forcing it to make an emergency landing in a government army-held area in Syria’s Latakia province.

Turkey Raising Black Flag of ISIL by Shooting Down Russian Plane

Shooting down a Russian airplane in Syria was an act of support for the Islamic State terrorists being targeted by Russian airstrikes, Gilbert Collard, deputy for France's Front National party, told Sputnik on Tuesday.

"I consider the fact that a Russian plane was hit, while fighting the Islamic State is a recognition of the state Turkey is now in," said Collard.

"Turkey destroyed people and a plane that were fighting the Islamic State. In doing so, it chose its side, and that is the side of terrorists."

Here Come the Riots: Chicago Police Shooting Video to Be Released This Week, Civil Unrest Planned

Considering everything that is going on at the moment, it almost feels like this entire situation, including the coming civil unrest, is a big set up. Many outlets are reporting that activists are at the ready for the video’s release… but this shooting happened in 2014. Shouldn’t they be protesting already? On top of that, they just announced today that the officer involved has been charged with first-degree murder... Why didn't they do that all this time? The evidence has not changed.

After all, Israel rewarded those who even killed US Citizens

Why Do Some Turks Approve of ISIS Terrorism?

Simple. It's the logical consequence of 13 years of Erdogan's islamist transformation... On Nov. 17 at a friendly soccer match between Turkey and Greece, a group of Turkish spectators interrupted a minute of silence honoring the victims of the Nov. 13 Islamic State (IS) attacks in Paris, whistling, chanting slogans and shouting “Allahu Akbar.” There are three important reasons why this incident, at Istanbul’s Basaksehir Stadium, cannot be dismissed as an ordinary act of hooliganism. First, the protest illustrates that a segment of Turkish society clearly approves of IS terrorism. Second, it reflects an alarming sense of estrangement from the victims and the communities to which they belong. This lack of empathy could well stem from the callousness of excluding “the other” (and possibly lead to one’s own sense of exclusion being transformed into radical hostility expressed in violent action).

Why Is Petro Poroshenko Selling Chocolate to Terrorists?

Petro Poroshenko, still occasionally recognized as president of the territory formerly known as Ukraine, is infamous for his chicken-little histrionics vis-a-vis the “Russian aggression” against his country - actually a war Kiev launched against its own people who refuse to support the unconstitutional coup. US Begins Direct Training of Ukrainian Regular Forces (Previously, Pentagon Was Only Training National Guard)

The Pentagon has announced today a dramatic escalation of its training operation in Ukraine, moving from its small training mission for Ukraine’s National Guard to a direct training program for Ukraine’s regular military forces, as well as special operations troops.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has made it clear he sees the purpose of the training as “to learn how to beat Russia,” and the escalation of the training toward combat troops is likely to add some tensions to US-Russian relations, with Poroshenko openly envisioning his country as the staging ground for a global war on Russia.

Russian officials are downplaying the seriousness of the program so far, however, with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov citing the disastrous state of the US-trained armies in Iraq and Afghanistan as proof the US training won’t be a real game-changer.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it; and this is precisely what President Obama is doing, in this hare-brained scheme.

President Obama, I would strongly suggest you re-read the history of the Vietnam War, which started with the sending of "advisers" into South Vietnam to "train" their military, and escalated into a meat-grinder for American troops, but resulted in deep profits for the US's military-industrial complex.

And Mr. President, are you clearly aware that in working with Poroshenko, you are working with a man who has utterly lost his reality license?!?

How in Sam's Hill can Poroshenko, unless he is absolutely delusional, be "openly envisioning his country as the staging ground for a global war on Russia." ?!?

Mr. President, please tell me, and the American people, that you don't want to go there.

Putin: Turkey supports terrorism and stabs Russia in the back

Russian President Vladimir Putin has commented on the attack on the Russian Su-24 bomber aircraft that was shot down above Syria by the Turkish Air Force. Putin described the actions of the Turkish authorities as a "stab in the back" from "supporters of terrorists."

According to Putin, the Russian aircraft was shot down by air-to-air missile, launched by Turkish F-16 fighter jet at the time when the Russian aircraft was one kilometer away from the Turkish border. The Russian president added that the Russian Su-24 did not threaten Turkey in any way, but was conducting operations against the Islamic State terrorist group.

Natalia Starokozhko: "Donbass will be Ukraine, or a Desert?"

Natalia Starokozhko, blogger, is engaged in the delivery of humanitarian aid to residents of Donbass: The longer the confrontation between supporters of the Donbass People's Republic and the official Kiev continues, the more clearly emerges one simple thought: Donbass is useful without the population. People simply are not wanted. What's needed: the territory. Desert Donbass will provide an opportunity to placidly develop the mines to the hilt, without any concern over the smoking heaps, with no distractions of industrial modernization, and then to get busy fracking out the shale gas. And, of course, no worries over pensioners, large families or any other socially disadvantaged sections of the population. The fewer people, the more oxygen and the less expense. No wonder the ex-Defense Minister Anatoly Gritsenko voiced the idea in that infamous talk show: whoever dislikes the government and policy of Kiev, can just leave for Russia.

While it is uncommon for the Midwest to see such heavy snowfall so early in the year, the storm is not unprecedented. Records from the National Weather Service note that 24cm of snow dropped over the area in November 1951.

Government Criminalizing Rainwater Collection in All Out War on Self Sufficiency

Collecting rainwater is classically seen as a safe and sustainable way of supplying your household with an off-the-grid water supply. Some people collect rainwater only for a backup reservoir, while others prefer to go all the way and maintain their household with pure off-the-grid rainwater collection. This method ensures water during emergencies, can help control floods, saves money and liberates us from company-dependence for our water.

Consequently, this freedom to collect our own rainwater is currently under attack. State laws have been set up in several U.S. States including Oregon, Utah, California, Florida, Colorado and Washington that prohibit the collection, or “diversion” of rainwater, including water that is falling on your own property and is to be used for your own private use or as an environmental conservation technique.

Granddaughter sues for $10 million over her grandfather's JFK assassination film 'lost' by government investigators

It's incomprehensible that authorities would lose 'an important piece of historical evidence,' said Nix Jackson, whose lawsuit was filed Saturday in federal court in Washington, D.C.

'I can understand little clerical issues,' she said. 'I don't' understand the loss of evidence like this.'

Nix filmed the presidential motorcade as it entered the plaza, but he didn't know he had captured the shooting until the photo lab that processed his film told him later.

The film sequence includes first lady Jackie Kennedy climbing onto the trunk of the limousine, and Secret Service agent Clint Hill jumping onto the vehicle, according to the lawsuit.

    Webmaster's Commentary:

Orville Nix's film clearly shows the grassy knoll in the background of the Kennedy limo, and could establish that there was a shoot team shooting over the top of the fence. That is why the film had to "disappear."

    Nothing new there.

When Robert Kennedy was assassinated, a young Jamie Scott Enyart took the only known photographs of the moment when Robert Kennedy was shot. Enyart turned over the film to police with the assurance it would be returned, but they never were. The official investigation claimed Enyart's photos did not show anything, and so Enyart wanted his negatives returned as they had commercial value. Then the State of California claimed the negatives had been lost! After years of waiting for the photos to be found, Enyart decided to sue the State of California for the assumed value of the historical negatives, at which point the negatives were "found" in the state archives. A courier carried the envelope with the negatives down to Los Angeles to deliver them, but the rental car he got at the airport had a flat tire, forcing him to pull into a gas station to have it repaired. The courier went to the restroom, leaving Enyart's negatives in a case on the seat of the unlocked car. When the courier returned (and you knew this was coming) the case with the negatives had been "stolen."

Here is How Afraid US Corporate Media Machine is of RT

It started as a whisper, now it’s a scream. David Kramer’s Op-Ed is just the latest jab thrown in a seemingly endless anti-RT barrage in certain sections of the US media and body politic.

This has manifested itself in various forms, from John Kerry dubbing RT a “propaganda bullhorn” to Andrew Lack, briefly CEO of the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), throwing the network in with ISIS as a “challenge” to the US because he was bothered by our particular “point of view,” to a stream of less-than-rigorous publications simply inventing facts about the channel.

A few days ago in The Washington Post, Kramer, of John McCain’s eponymous Institute for International Leadership, launched into a tirade of anti-Russia vitriol.

He reserved particular contempt for RT, extolling the virtues of freezing its assets. Ostensibly, this would punish Moscow for two court rulings “involving the multibillion-dollar Yukos oil company.” Two birds, one stone.

Jihadist Networks: Western Countries Where ISIL Recruits Fighters

The wars in Syria and Iraq have proven deadly for Western militants. Almost two-fifths of Western fighters in New America’s dataset have been reported as dead in Syria or Iraq. Almost half of the male foreign fighters and six percent of female militants have been killed. The majority of Western fighters have joined ISIL. Only one-tenth have joined Jabhat al-Nusra, al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate, and only 6 percent have joined other smaller groups, the report said. The most popular route to Syria is through Turkey. Forty-two percent of the Western foreign fighters made their way to Syria or Iraq via Turkey. Western European countries face a greater threat than the United States because militants can draw upon more established jihadist networks that can give rise to more sophisticated and deadly attacks. The likeliest threat to the US comes from ISIL-inspired violence. ISIL recruiters have been most successful in Belgium, France, and Britain.
