Robert Johnson: The Most Important Bluesman Of All Time Who 'Sold His Soul To The Devil'

Robert Johnson is easily the most important blues artist of all time. The influence of his simple guitar lines and somber howl can still be heard in music today, but separating Johnson's life from the myth that surrounds him isn't a simple task. Leaving us at the age of 27 with only 29 songs, Johnson's genius is distinctly tied to the Delta blues scene of the 1930s. It's been claimed that he sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads to gain his legendary guitar skills, but that couldn't have actually happened ... right?

The Invention Of Potato Chips In 1853 By A Half-Black, Half-Native Man Named George Crum

If there's anything people love more than sweet, sweet fried potatoes, it's getting one up on the hoity-toity. The legend of the creation of potato chips marries these two beloved concepts, as it was said that the popular snack food was invented as a sarcastic gesture toward a finicky restaurant patron. While there is evidence that potato chips were enjoyed prior to this event, the legend has prevailed.

Stalingrad: 600 Luftwaffe Planes Bomb Civilians In WWII's Deadliest Battle

There are a myriad important battles littered throughout World War II, but Stalingrad stands above them as one of the most bloody and strategically important. With more than two million casualties, it lasted nearly half a year, changed the direction of the war, and left Germany on the defensive for the first time. Thanks to nonstop Luftwaffe bombing, the city of Stalingrad was left in shambles, but the Russian forces proved that they were capable outlasting anyone in the Axis, even if they were outgunned.

Harmonic Convergence: Planets Aligning In Real-Life Started Today In 1987

Everyone sit down, close your eyes, and say "Ommmmmmmmm." In 1987, the call for the world's first synchronized global peace meditation went out, bringing people from every culture together to focus their energy as the planets aligned to facilitate a new era of peace and love. If that sounds a little woo-woo to you, then maybe it'll help to learn that the belief in aligning human frequencies with the solar system is ancient.

Ugly Laws: A 1867 San Francisco Attempt At Making Ugly People Stay Home

Can you imagine walking down the street and being stopped by a police officer for public unattractiveness? It sounds like a bad comedy sketch, but it was something that really happened at the tail end of the 19th century. "Ugly laws" got their start in San Francisco before spreading across the country to keep the cities safe for perfect 10s (and also make sure people with disabilities, homeless people, and people who weren't white stayed out of major metropolitan areas). The "ugly laws" of San Francisco and other major cities around the country are some of the, well, ugliest laws of recent history, so it's no surprise that the city wants to keep their existence under wraps.

Things You Didn't Know About The March On Washington (1963)

If there's one thing that everyone knows about the March on Washington, it's that it was the site of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech. They probably know even more—it was a watershed moment in the Civil Rights movement, some of the biggest names in hippie music performed there, it was in Washington—but it wasn't the big kumbaya moment it's presented as in the history books. Backroom deals, annoyed government officials, and bad vibes throughout the day all threatened to derail the good intentions of Dr. King. The fact that the march even happened, let alone became one of the most important moments in the Civil Rights movement, is astounding.

Doc Holiday: Stories, Trivia, And Facts You Didn't Know About The Gunslinger

The infamous shootout at the O.K. Corral has become part of our romanticized version of the Old West, where lawmen were the good guys but outlaws were the heroes of folklore. The Disappearance Of Amy Lynn Bradley: Everything We Know

Amy Lynn Bradley left her family's state room on a Caribbean cruise bound for the Antilles in the early hours of March 24, 1998. Somehow, in the span of only 30 minutes and with no way to leave the ship, Bradley went missing and never turned up again. In spite of a massive search for Bradley by the ship's crew and the authorities, no one could figure out how she got off the ship without anyone seeing her. In the time since her disappearance, Bradley sightings have popped up all around the Caribbean, but her disappearance is still under investigation.

The Devil's Footprint: A German Cathedral's 600-Year-Old Deal With Satan

Inside a massive Gothic church in Germany, you can literally walk in the footsteps of the devil. Herschel Grynszpan: The Man Who Got Revenge On The Nazis, Sparking World War II

When it comes to one single act affecting the entire world for generations to come, people often cite the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the bizarrely implausible incident that kicked off a chain of events that led to World War I. But did you know that some historians claim another assassination was equally responsible for a potentially even more significant war? Unlike the Ferdinand case, there's no massive conspiracy involving a shady organization like the Black Hand. It's simply the tale of a moody teenager who just decided one day that enough was enough.

The History Of Kissing: Why Do We Kiss Each Other And Where Did It Come From?

From a long, passionate kiss to a peck on the cheek to a smooch goodbye, kissing is a key component of our culture and an important ingredient in our relationships. But when did humans first start locking lips, and why? Not all cultures in history practiced kissing, so it seems like it must be something more than instinctual. Whatever the case, the history of kissing goes back much further than our modern notions of love and manners.

Towards a US-China War? The Creation of a Global Totalitarian System, A “One World Government”?

On behalf of the Powers That Be (PTB), World War II was orchestrated by the circles of the City of London and of Wall Street to maneuver two great obstacles—Russia and Germany—to wage a war to the death against each other, in order that those Anglo-Saxon PTB could reorganize the world geopolitical chess board to their advantage. It largely succeeded, but for the small detail that after 1945, Wall Street and the Rockefeller brothers were determined that England play the junior partner to Washington. London and Washington then entered the period of their global domination known as the Cold War.

Obama State Department Official Destroyed Records At Christopher Steele's Request

In January 2017, former State Department official Jonathan Winer destroyed several years worth of reports from former UK spy Christopher Steele, at Steele's request, according to the Daily Caller, citing a report released Tuesday.

Winer, a former legislative assistant to former Sen. John Kerry who became the State Department's Special Envoy for Libya when Kerry was Secretary of State - was Steele's contact at the State Department, and received the now-debunked reports claiming that President Trump had been compromised by the Russians.

According to the Senate report, Winer disclosed that he destroyed reports that Steele had sent him over the years. The Senate report also says that Winer failed to reveal when asked in his first interview with the committee that he had arranged the meeting for Steele at the State Department months earlier. -Daily Caller.

This Is Why 675,000 AT&T Employees Went On Strike In 1983

On August 7, 1983, phone service across the country was interrupted when 675,000 workers at AT&T went on strike following a breakdown in communication with their employer. The strike came at a crucial moment for the phone company: They were in the middle of being split up into 22 local operating companies, a task that had to be finished by January 1. The 21-day walkout of hundreds of thousands of employees—encompassing repair techs, switchboard operators, secretaries, file clerks, data processors, and more—could have been the straw that ended the monolithic corporation. The employees returned after their unions settled with AT&T, but it wouldn't be the last strike for this phone company.

Kennedy's assassination in 1963 and freely elected the following year, but it was Johnson who signed the 1965 Voting Rights Act. The act, which was signed on August 6 of that year, is widely believed to be the most comprehensive Civil Rights law in United States history.

BOMBSHELL: Kamala Harris covered up sex abuse crimes of priests, buried records, and took cash from church officials

In his book Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite, Peter Schweizer explains how Kamala failed to prosecute even one case of child sex abuse by Roman Catholic priests, despite having numerous cases thrown her way.

During the 13 years that Kamala was a district attorney, and later attorney general, she systematically covered for the big guys while betraying the little guys – though you are unlikely to hear about any of this from the mainstream media, which is worshiping Kamala almost to the degree that it worshiped Barack Obama.

While at least 50 other major cities at that time were busy prosecuting pedophile priests for molesting and raping young boys, Kamala “would strangely hide vital records on abuses that had occurred,” Schweizer contends. Kamala also retaliated against a district attorney who tried to do the job that she refused to do, almost as if she herself was secretly guilty.

Kamala Harris: An Annotated Guide

Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer said (On Tucker Carlson show) ““Tucker, from 2004 to 2011, she was San Francisco attorney general,” he continued. “She did not prosecute a single case of sexual abuse involving Catholic Church priests. To put that in context, of the 50 largest cities in America, all 50 of them prosecuted at least one case during that time period, except for Kamala Harris. And in addition to that, she inherited, from her predecessor, Terence Hallinan, hundreds of pages of internal Catholic documents that included the names of 40 current or recent priests who had been charged by parishioners with molestation.”

Kamala Harris isn’t the first Black woman to run for VP. Meet Charlotta Bass.

Indeed, while Harris will indeed be the first Black woman and the first Asian American to appear on a major-party ticket, she is not the first Black woman to run for vice president. That title belongs to Bass, who joined a long-shot Progressive Party ticket in 1952, more than a decade before the Voting Rights Act was signed into law.

Before Kamala Harris became Biden’s running mate, Shirley Chisholm and other Black women aimed for the White House

U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris, the American daughter of Jamaican and Indian immigrants, is Joe Biden’s choice for vice president. If Biden wins in November, Harris would break three centuries-old barriers to become the nation’s first female vice president, first Black vice president and first Black female vice president.

Geraldine Ferraro was the first female vice-presidential candidate on a major party ticket, in 1984. In 2008, Alaska’s then-governor Sarah Palin was Republican John McCain’s running mate.

Before Harris was picked as Biden’s running mate, she was his competitor for the Democratic presidential nomination. She is one of many Black American women who have aimed for the highest office in the land despite great odds.

The Twilight Zone

“Imagine if you will, a situation in which the economy of a nation is overdue to experience an economic collapse of epic proportions, but remains endlessly at the brink. Every day, a collapse is more likely, yet the economic house of cards remains in a state of suspended animation. Some people become increasingly edgy, while others become more complacent. Only a few choose to actually prepare for what’s coming. -- An impossible situation? Yes. But we’d be well-advised to recognize that it couldn’t only occur… in the Twilight Zone.”

The Jakarta Method: How The U.S. Used Mass Murder To Beat Communism

Indonesia was considered especially crucial during the 1960s as one of the leading non-aligned countries with the largest communist party outside the USSR and China. U.S. officials saw it as a “prize” far more valuable than South Vietnam, and in 1965-66 it was violently yanked into the U.S. orbit by mass murder. The Indonesian military under Suharto and its auxiliaries carried out mass killings against communists and suspected communists, and they murdered up to one million innocent people for nothing more than their presumed political affiliations.

India and China: Behind the Conflict: The two most populous countries in the world are battling over a border, but it’s really about energy and water.

Chinese and Indian forces have pulled back from their confrontation in the Himalayas, but the tensions that set off the deadly encounter this past June – the first on the China/India border since 1975 – are not going away. Indeed, a poisonous combination of local disputes, regional antagonisms, and colonial history could pose a serious danger to peace in South Asia.

In part, the problem is Britain’s colonial legacy. The “border” in dispute is an arbitrary line drawn across terrain that doesn’t lend itself to clear boundaries. The architect, Henry McMahon, drew it to maximize British control of a region that was in play during the nineteenth-century “Great Game” between England and Russia for control of Central Asia. Local concerns were irrelevant.

The treaty was signed between Tibet and Britain in 1914. Although India accepts the 550-mile McMahon Line as the border between Indian and China, the Chinese have never recognized the boundary.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Let us hope that some "Adults in the Room" of geopolitics can get tensions ratcheted down, before something truly even more ugly than what has happened this year, happens again, and from which there will be no backing down by either side.

Another Hiroshima Is Coming — Unless We Stop It Now

Today, an unprecedented campaign of propaganda is shooing us all off like rabbits. We are not meant to question the daily torrent of anti-Chinese rhetoric, which is rapidly overtaking the torrent of anti-Russia rhetoric. Anything Chinese is bad, anathema, a threat: Wuhan …. Huawei. How confusing it is when “our” most reviled leader says so.

The current phase of this campaign began not with Trump but with Barack Obama, who in 2011 flew to Australia to declare the greatest build-up of US naval forces in the Asia-Pacific region since World War Two. Suddenly, China was a “threat”. This was nonsense, of course. What was threatened was America’s unchallenged psychopathic view of itself as the richest, the most successful, the most “indispensable” nation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Looking at the US setting up these "freedom of navigation" exercises in the Pacific, is right now, the military equivalent of the role of a picador in a bull fight; get the bull enraged so that it charges the matador, ultimately with deadly consequences for the bull.

I would like the people who think this would be a "great idea" to consider the following; the US government and military doesn't have the money; the manufacturing; the troop strength, or the weaponry to create a positive outcome to a war against China.

I don't really know who will win the 2020 Presidential election in this country, but I would almost bet real money on the following; that shortly after the winner takes the Oath of Office in January, there will be a coming national discussion of the return to a draft in this country, and why our weaponry seldom lives up to the hype; many times is obsolete before delivery to our military; and costs so much more than Chinese or Russian weaponry cost their respective countries.

Underage girl forced to have sex with Prince Andrew, US court document claims

The sex offender Jeffrey Epstein allegedly tried to gather incriminating material against Prince Andrew by forcing an underage girl to have sex with him, according to newly released court documents.

The papers released by a court in New York say the alleged encounter took place on the late US financier’s private island in the US Virgin Islands. A document claims Epstein instructed the girl, referred to as Jane Doe #3, but known to be Virginia Roberts Giuffre, to “give the prince whatever he demanded and report back to him on the details of the sexual abuse”.

Epstein allegedly sexually trafficked the girl to powerful people to “ingratiate himself with them for business, personal, political and financial gain, as well as to obtain potential blackmail information”. They included “numerous prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, foreign presidents, a well-known prime minister, and other world leaders.”

Automats: Fast Food Before We Had Fast Food Restaurants

Say what you will about the fast food experience, but whatever it may lack in fresh ingredients and customer service, it more than makes up in speed and price. That's why, long before fast food giants like McDonald's and Taco Bell became a way of life, people were dreaming up eateries that gave customers the soggy, salty food they craved without the hassle. In the early 1900s, anyone with few cents to spare and even fewer minutes could get a whole meal in as little time as it takes to vend a bag of chips at an automat.

Entry Into Wal-mart Without A Mask (Videos)

NoMask.info: As most everyone knows, Wal-Mart began a face mask policy on July 20, even posting security guards or 'mask monitors' at their entrance doors. The corporate media outlets tell the gullible public that everyone must wear masks at Wal-Mart or they won't be allowed in. But is that true? NO. Wal-Mart's own corporate website clearly admits that they allow exceptions to their face mask rule. So, I decided to try out the exception policy at a Missouri Wal-Mart Supercenter yesterday. As I approached the front door, a polite young man informed me that I needed a mask to get in. But as soon as I mentioned the exemption, he said "of course!" and let me in with no problem. It was a very simple and pleasant resolution to the conflict.

Denial of Free Speech and Disarming the American Citizenry

The Deadly Threat To Our Nation Is Not The Coronavirus But The Corruption In The Body Politic. -- The concern of our founders was directed to preventing a strong, centralized Federal Government from usurping power that rightfully belongs to the American people. They felt that, apart from a three Branch Government, wielding distinct and limited powers, the free Speech clause within the First Amendment and the right of the people to keep and bear arms clause in the Second, would be the principal fail-safe mechanism through which we would be able to maintain their authority over Government, if the threat of tyranny should arise.

Lincoln Was A Racist and the “Civil War” Was NOT About Slavery

Some black Americans have created a black version of the KKK. They have even adopted similar terminology. The leader is called “Grand Master Jay.” The job of the organization, NFAC, is “to protect the black community” from white people.

The KKK’s job was to protect the white Southern community, which was under attack by Reconstruction.

The NFAC sees the plight of the American black exactly as the white liberal elites want blacks to see it—oppression and abuse by whites. This keeps the American people divided and power safe in the hands of the corrupt elites.

Grand Master Jay wants black people to secede from the US just as the Southern States seceded. As Abe Lincoln believed, Grand Master Jay believes that blacks and whites can’t live together.

Why The Civil War Wasn’t About Slavery

From the 1870s to the late 1950s, there was an unofficial truce between the North and South. Lee; and the South admitted that slavery was wrong but never conceded that it was cruel.

THIS IS NOT GOOD: In May Reports Came Out that Bill Clinton Dated Ghislaine Maxwell – Now She’s Under Arrest – What Next?

Bill Clinton had an affair with British-born socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, who is accused of helping recruit underage victims for notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, according to a blockbuster new book.

The ex-president — who denies cheating on wife Hillary Clinton with Maxwell — reportedly engaged in the romps during overseas trips on Epstein’s private plane, a customized Boeing 727 that’s since become known as the “Lolita Express.”

The Memorials to Judah Benjamin - Jewish slave-owners exempt from attacks by BLM?

But this characterization of Jews as benefactors for the civil rights movement has also produced some curious omissions in the accepted historical narrative of who did what to whom in the slavery trade. It is well established, though never taught in schools, that Jews from Britain and Holland were involved in the African slave trade that prevailed after the European discovery of the Americas. In the United States, concentrations of Jews in the American south were in slave trading centers, notably in Charleston South Carolina, Savannah Georgia, Richmond Virginia and in New Orleans Louisiana. Many of the Jews themselves owned slaves.

KILLING THE FAMILY OF JESUS

"Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And are not all his sisters with us?" (Matthew 13.54-56).

Jesus was part of an extended family. The Bible says he had brothers and sisters. Some churches try to spin that these were only cousins, or Joseph's from a previous marriage, but Mary, Jesus' mother, was not an only child. At the very least, Jesus had cousins, Aunts, and Uncles. John the Baptist was Jesus' second cousin according to Luke 1:5-38.

For the purpose of this discussion, we do not need to go into the question of whether Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and had a family.

But the fact is that Jesus had kinfolk; blood relations, at least on his mother's side (although the Bible provides a paternal genealogy for Jesus back to the House of David).

Journalist details how FBI and DOJ covered up Bill Clinton’s “sale” of U.S. nuclear warhead tech to China in the ’90s

On his Thomas Paine podcast, host Mike Moore shared information that he says a congressman handed him recently about ex-President Bill Clinton and the Chinese that is shocking and yet not all that surprising to anyone who has truly been paying attention to the actions of the former president and his inner circle.

Moore, a journalist who has worked for intel agencies such as the FBI and DEA as well as the White House and private clients, said that the information he got from the unnamed congressman had been delivered to the FBI in the late 1990s or early 2000s, but they did nothing about it – which he believes is because other high-ranking people profited from it.

FLASHBACK: Proof Of George Soros Nazi Past Finally Comes To Light With Discovery Of Forgotten Interview

When Hitler’s henchman Adolf Eichmann arrived in Hungary, to oversee the murder of that country’s Jews, George Soros ended up with a man whose job was confiscating property from the Jewish population

George Soros and other rich liberals who spent tens of millions of dollars trying to elect Hillary Clinton are gathering in Washington for a three-day, closed door meeting to retool the big-money left to fight back against Donald Trump. Since Soros name is very much in the headlines in 2016, let’s take a look at an interview he gave in 1998 about his Nazi past.

Tainted: The fishy life and death of George Floyd

I don’t believe George Floyd was murdered. Sorry to those of you who do.

I’m not insensible to the facts about carnage and brutality in the world around us. I just don’t think George Floyd died the way the media portrayed it. I have serious doubts that he died at all.

I don’t mean to subtract from the extreme gravity of the situation. It’s grave, all right.

There is just too much that seems fishy to me, both before George’s putative demise and afterward. So much fishiness. And fishiness in multiple categories, which I have broken down below. No LOC (level of consciousness) assessment; they didn’t try to rouse him
– No breathing assessment
– No pulse check
– No airway management
– They used a Furley stretcher, which hasn’t been in service for many decades, and can only be found among civil war era movie props.

George Floyd Was Not Killed By Police

George Floyd Was Not Killed By Police

Paul Craig Roberts

George Floyd was not killed by police. According to the toxicology report, Floyd died from a concentration of Fentanyl in his blood three times the fatal dose. Fentanyl is a dangerous opioid 50 times more potent than heroin. You can read the analysis here—https://www.unz.com/article/or-did-george-floyd-die-of-a-drug-overdose/ . A link is provided to the autopsy report.

Think about this for a minute. What becomes of a society in which facts do not matter? The US media, Democrat Party, white liberals, and the sorry excuse for a leftwing are so primed for “white racism” that they jumped to their desired conclusion and egged on riots and looting that resulted in massive property damage in multiple cities, some deaths, many injuries, and much damage to racial relations.

Newsom Is Obsessed With the 1918 'Anti-Mask Brigade' Who Were 'DISGUSTED' With Masks

"We can manifest the future we want," Newsom said. "Be smart about social distancing, wear a face covering...until this pandemic is behind us." That is an odd context to use, since Fauci and others have said that COVID may never go away and that the government will peddle annual COVID-19 'vaccinations.' Does this mean that facemask mandates are here to stay?

Epstein Case: Documentaries Won't Touch Tales Of Intel Ties

Authored by Elizabeth Vos via ConsortiumNews.com,

Investigation Discovery premiered a three-hour special, “Who Killed Jeffrey Epstein?” on May 31, the first segment in a three-part series, that focused on Epstein’s August 2019 death in federal custody. The series addresses Epstein’s alleged co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell, his links with billionaire Leslie Wexner, founder of the Victoria Secrets clothing line, and others, as well as the non-prosecution deal he was given.

The special followed on the heels of Netflix’s release of “Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich,” a mini-series that draws on a book of the same name by James Patterson.

Neither documentary however deals at all with Epstein’s suspected ties to the world of intelligence.

Webmaster's Commentary:

When specials like this are churned out, very rarely do they look at the in-depth questions which need to be asked, and answered, but misdirect the viewing public by focusing on the cheesy/sleazy side of the subject's character.

Supreme Court Blocks Trump From Ending DACA, Shielding Illegal Immigrants From Deportation

In a blow to President Trump's immigration agenda, the Supreme Court on Thursday ruled to block the Trump administration from ending the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which protects nearly 700,000 young illegal immigrants from deportation.

In a split ruling which will keep the program open to an estimated 1.3 million non-citizens, the justices said the Trump administration failed to adequately justify terminating the program. In other words - struck down on a technicality that the Trump administration can correct.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The unfunded state mandates, are breaking the financial backs of many of our states right now; but the moral question is, what do you do with these people, who, if they got here as kids, hopefully have learned the English language; are literate, numerate, and have a desire to make something positive of themselves, by enhancing their education?!?

I think we need to make room in our immigration system for people like this, and find a way to welcome them, if they have done these things, and proven themselves worthy of American citizenship.

‘Forces’ Sweetheart’ Dame Vera Lynn Who Entertained WW2 Troops Dies Aged 103

LONDON (AP) – Dame Vera Lynn, the endearingly popular “Forces´ Sweetheart” who serenaded British troops abroad during World War II, has died at 103.

“The family are deeply saddened to announce the passing of one of Britain´s best-loved entertainers at the age of 103,” her family said in a statement. “Dame Vera Lynn, who lived in Ditchling, East Sussex, passed away earlier today, 18 June 2020, surrounded by her close family.”

Do Deep State Elements Operate Within the Protest Movement?

Does anyone believe the nationwide riots and looting are a spontaneous reaction to the killing of George Floyd?

It’s all too coordinated, too widespread, and too much in-sync with the media narrative that applauds the “mainly peaceful protests” while ignoring the vast destruction to cities across the country. What’s that all about? Do the instigators of these demonstrations want to see our cities reduced to urban wastelands where street gangs and Antifa thugs impose their own harsh justice? That’s where this is headed, isn’t it?

Or did George Floyd Die of a Drug Overdose?

Floyd’s blood tests showed a concentration of Fentanyl of about three times the fatal dose.
— Fentanyl is a dangerous opioid 50 times more potent than heroin. It has rapidly become the most common cause of death among drug addicts.
— The knee hold used by the police is not a choke hold, it does not impede breathing. It is a body restraint and is not known to have ever caused fatal injury.

America’s Own Color Revolution

If we step back from the immediate issue of videos showing a white Minneapolis policeman pressing his knee on the neck of a black man, George Floyd, and look at what has taken place across the nation since then, it is clear that certain organizations or groups were well-prepared to instrumentalize the horrific event for their own agenda.

The protests since May 25 have often begun peacefully only to be taken over by well-trained violent actors. Two organizations have appeared regularly in connection with the violent protests—Black Lives Matter and Antifa (USA). Videos show well-equipped protesters dressed uniformly in black and masked (not for coronavirus to be sure), vandalizing police cars, burning police stations, smashing store windows with pipes or baseball bats. Use of Twitter and other social media to coordinate “hit-and-run” swarming strikes of protest mobs is evident.

Senator Tim Kaine: The U.S. "Created" Slavery

Democratic Senator Tim Kaine claimed Tuesday during a speech on the Senate floor that the United States "created" slavery and insisted we didn't "inherit" it from anyone.

Though slavery dates back thousands of years, historians found that native American tribes practiced slavery before any Europeans colonized the states.

Che Guevara: The Revolutionary Activist With A Long, Misunderstood History

Most Americans know Che Guevara, the Argentine revolutionary, from the image that's been emblazoned on millions of t-shirts and posters on dorm room walls, but he's so much more than a stoic, mysterious face. The lack of historians hanging around revolutionary Cuba has resulted in a lot of apocryphal stories about Guevara, so it's hard to separate the man from the myth, but what we do know makes it

The History Of Miranda Rights: How The Supreme Court Passed This In The 1960s

If you're a fan of TV crime dramas, you probably have the Miranda Rights memorized. Anytime a suspect is taken into custody, the arresting officer(s) must inform them that they have the right to remain silent, anything they say can and will be used against them, etc. However, you won't find this script in the Bill of Rights or the original Constitution. In fact, it wasn't until June 13, 1966 that the United States Supreme Court ruled on Miranda v. Arizona, the court case that established the Miranda Rights.

Tent cities.

Drugs.
I hope she sees this in her mansion

Removing A US President Without An Election

Authored by Paul Ryder via Counterpunch.org,

Five times in the last ninety years, elements of the U.S. power structure have tried to oust a sitting president without an election.

The efforts were aimed at Franklin Roosevelt, John Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump.

Two attempts succeeded and three failed... so far.

If the Democrats had understood Watergate, they would have noticed a key condition was missing: aggravated conflict between the president and the military-industrial complex. That is why the Democrats failed.

Of course, as 2020 election day approaches, President Trump has managed to create a triple crisis — his bungled COVID-19 response, the resulting economic paralysis, and his inciting a coast-to-coast police rampage — which may doom him with no effort by the Democrats. No one knows at this point.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It appears that history, ultimately, will be morally incapable of being kind in its judgement of one of the most horrifically failed Presidents in US history.

Orange County CA Rescinds Mandatory Facemask Order

NoMask.info - Orange County California, home of the beautiful beaches between Los Angeles and San Diego counties, has rescinded it's mandatory face mask order. Effective 6/12/20 at midnight, they changed the wording from "shall wear" a mask to now "strong recommendations" of should wear" a mask. Oddly, Orange County, which in years past had a reputation of being comprised of wealthy conservative Republicans and freedom-minded libertarians, took a month longer than neighboring San Bernardino and Riverside counties, which both rescinded their facemask orders in May.

In coastal Ventura County North of Los Angeles, county health officer Dr. Robert Levin refused to ever issue a facemask order and he actually backed-up his decision with scientific evidence and a plethora of medical studies, along with links and a video presentation by him. This hasn't gotten near enough attention and Dr. Levin should be highly commended for this very rare action

St. Scholastica Day Riot: When English People Killed Dozens Over The Taste Of Wine

Don't you hate it when you get all gussied up and head out to a restaurant for a nice evening only to receive poor-quality food and bad service? Maybe you would send the food back, complain to the manager, or even leave a lousy tip. But have you ever thought about taking your glass and smashing it into the server's face? Hopefully not, but if you were an overly entitled Oxford student during the 14th century, you might do just that.

How The U.S. Police Service Was Founded As A Slave Hunting Organization

It may seem like police have been around since the first caveman stole a rock from another, but they've actually only been patrolling since just before the Civil War. At the time, the police weren’t "the police" but a loose configuration of white men who worked as slave hunters for wealthy land owners. It took major reforms in the 19th century to turn these ragged groups of semi-vigilantes into the police force that we know today.

The History Of Peaceful Protests in America

Throughout history, protests have been used by regular people who want to have their voices heard. Civil unrest has been whipping around humankind since the first rule was laid in a stone tablet, but it's only recently that rebellious people of all ages have carried out peaceful protests to enact change.
