O Cananda : Defending yourself against a home invader is now a criminal offense in Canada, where “progressivism” means CRIMINALS are presumed innocent

According to Canada’s progressive laws, armed home invaders are presumed innocent. Self defense is the criminal act. This sets a horrifying precedent.

It’s time to fight for America and take it back from the corporate tyrants, the lobbyists and the deep state traitors

Life in America has become a gut-wrenching, soul-sucking, misery-drenched, demoralizing existence. -- We have managed to survive crackdowns, clampdowns, shutdowns, showdowns, shootdowns, standdowns, knockdowns, putdowns, breakdowns, lockdowns, takedowns, slowdowns, meltdowns, and never-ending letdowns. -- Take your stand now—using every nonviolent means at your disposal—while you still can. Don’t wait to reflect back on missed opportunities to push back against tyranny. Don’t wait until you’re the last one standing. Time is running out.

More Guns, Less Crime: Concealed-carry Permit Holders More Law-abiding Than Police

It was Guy Smith, writing in his Gun Facts blog, who first alerted his readers to a study showing that “people with concealed carry licenses are 5.7 times less likely to be arrested for violent offences than the general public and 13.5 times less likely to be arrested for non-violent offenses than the general public.” Referring to another study, Smith noted that “the four-year violent crime arrest rate of CCW holders is 128 per 100,000 [but] for the general population it is 710 per 100,000. In other words, CCW holders are 5.5 times less likely to commit a violent crime [than the general public].”

But it was John Lott, president of the Crime Prevention Research Center, who went one step further: examining how CCW holders behave when compared to police. He concluded that “concealed handgun permit holders are extremely law-abiding,” adding, “In Florida and Texas, permit holders are convicted of misdemeanors and felonies at one-sixth of the rate at which police officers are convicted.”

In gun-controlled Mexico, the murder rate is nearly 500% HIGHER than in the USA

The U.S. should not only build a wall to defend its own country from criminal enterprises emanating from Mexico, but the U.S. should also pressure the Mexican government to stop crime at the source. Mexico should help pay for the damage that drug addiction and drug-related violence does to families. Mexico should own up to their crime-sponsoring gun laws, which create victims out of law-abiding citizens, while spreading organized crime and its violence into the great United States of America, where armed citizens must be more vigilant and on watch.

At its core, Gun Control is a morally, ethically and intellectually bankrupt argument. How do we know this? Just listen to the words of those that support it. Very Bad Things Can Happen in 2020 If We Allow It

Our right to bear arms is going to be one of the top three campaign issues as 2020 ramps up, Bloomberg will spend over $1 billion of his own personal fortune, and the anti-gun establishment (funded by Bloomberg) will vastly outspend all of us. I can only hope that all of us understand what is getting ready to happen over the coming months and take the necessary action to defeat them. It includes mobilizing everyone you know, volunteering for campaign events, knocking on doors, making phone calls, talking on radio programs, suing the anti-gunner supported legislation in courts of law, and ultimately getting at least one more of us to the polls on election day in November 2020 than they do.

Assault Speech and Hate Weapons- Media Spin that would make Orwell proud

It is dangerous to let other people do our thinking for us. We seem certain we can define “hate speech”. We’re convinced that “assault weapons” are bad. Both terms have been manipulated by politicians and the media to mean anything they want them to mean. We were sold such a twisted-logic of lies that it would be funny.. if it were not so dangerous. -- Elites with armed bodyguards tell us to give up our tools of self-defense. We’re called toxic-hateful-deplorable-clingers if we object. “Assault weapon” is a debating term and so is “hate speech”. An assault weapon is any firearm a politician wants to confiscate today. “Hate speech” are any statements that criticize the politician’s latest voting block. The elites lie to us. Look at their record of hypocrisy to see the truth of that statement.

All your Google searches will now be used against you by the state to block your right to buy a gun

Be careful what you search for online. Big Tech, in lockstep with Big Brother, is reportedly plotting to use your internet browsing history against you in order to deprive you of your Second Amendment rights. -- At the close of 2018, the state of New York – which recently legalized infanticide (baby murder), to thunderous applause – put forth a new gun control bill that, if passed, would require anyone who wants to purchase a gun to first hand over three years’ worth of social media history, as well as one year’s worth of internet search history.

Have Beer, Lose Guns – Are Anti-Gun-Rights Warriors Drunk With Power?

They have come a long way, boiling the frog slowly under the radar, but you and I know it. Permits for carrying firearms discreetly already come with a ban on possession in places serving alcohol. That’s almost anywhere decent you might want to eat. There’s no inherent danger in owning sidearms in a restaurant, especially if you don’t consume alcohol (the typical requirement), but the gun ban tied to the eating ban is now virtually complete across the nation. Several narrow exceptions exist.

“Bipartisan” Firearms Background Checks Bill Is More Useless Federal Legislation

We elect politicians to improve our lives. To expand our freedoms and protect our rights. Passing the Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019 will do none of those things. What it will do is outlaw a perfectly legal activity, make it more difficult for honest people to protect themselves and their loved ones, and have no impact on crime. -- We didn’t send those politicians to Washington to make life easier for the bad guys. Maybe it’s time to remind them of that.

Oregon Anti-Gunners Launch Attack; 20 Rounds a Month in One Bill!

Under provisions of SB 501, receipt of a firearm without a valid permit could land someone in jail for up to 364 days, and impose a fine of up to $6,250. Failure to secure a firearm with a cable or trigger lock, or in a locked box, could result in 30 days behind bars and a $1,250 fine. -- But the most alarming tenet of the bill is a restriction on the amount of ammunition someone can purchase in any 30-day period. SB 501 would limit someone to getting 20 rounds a month. Critics say this ammunition limit is nonsense, as it would effectively preclude practice for competitors, and would be a burden on hunters, especially those who hunt waterfowl or upland birds.

Crime News Favors Armed Citizens: Defense Of Life, Liberty, And Property Are Basic Human Rights

The exercise of Second Amendment rights in defense of self or others is not a rare or extraordinary event, but a daily occurrence in the lives of ordinary Americans doing ordinary things. However, most don’t use it in defense of the government. But there could come a time when it is necessary. And that’s what makes it a basic human right. No one should ever be enslaved to the point that they have to die or be stolen from. We’ve already seen what can happen when Nazi’s take over and a nation succumbs to complete socialist rule. Not to mention how brutally bad the democide is when communism takes a hold. -- Democide (when governments kill the people they rule over): the largest killer of humans in history other than natural causes. Ignore all of the evidence, the facts, and the truth to your own detriment. History has a bad habit of repeating itself.

December 2018 NICS Background Checks make Second Highest on Record

The National Instant Background Checks System (NICS) checks for December of 2018 were 2,543,385. They were just a little less (42,753) than NICS checks for December of 2017. That makes them the fourth highest December on record and puts the total for 2018 as the second highest year of NICS checks on record with 26,181,936. The top year was 2016, with 27,438,673. -- Two things conspired to bring about the “Trump Slump”. The first is that President Trump is not Hillary Clinton. Gun owners are not as concerned about being able to purchase the gun and ammunition they want. There is also less fear of emotionally driven politics will be used to deny them the guns they wish to have. -- The second part is many NICS checks are for other purposes. Once we take out the background checks done for permits and permit renewals, The numbers drop. The numbers of permit and permit recheck numbers for December of 2018 were 737,926 and 285,273, respectively.

A good guy with a gun has saved many lives in Florida – something the media rarely report

Thankfully, a heroic citizen with a permit to legally carry a concealed handgun was able to save countless lives in Florida Saturday when he shot a gunman who opened fire on a back-to-school event attended by over 150 students at a park in Titusville, Florida.

The media rarely give national news coverage to incidents like this, but responsible gun owners have stepped forward in this way many times before to save lives. In fact, concealed handgun permit holders have prevented dozens of mass public shootings just in recent years, while receiving only brief mentions in local news coverage.

Fortunately, only the attacker was injured in Titusville. The gun permit holder shot him in the head to keep the attacker from shooting any children and adults in the park. Neither the permit holder nor the attacker have been identified so far by police. The attacker suffered life-threatening injuries and remains hospitalized.

The Real Resistance: Washington State Sheriffs Refuse To Enforce Unconstitutional Gun Laws

Washington state recently introduced bills for some of the strictest gun laws in the country but they have some very important opponents: the sheriffs.

Long thought to be the last line of defense between authoritarianism and freedom, sheriffs are in a unique position. As elected officials, basically nobody has authority over them – not the judges, not the Feds – no one except the people who may or may not choose to re-elect them.

What are those new gun laws in Washington?
In November, Washington voters passed a ballot initiative, I-1639. To purchase a semi-automatic rifle, buyers must be over 21, undergo an enhanced background check, must have completed a safety course, and need to wait 9 days to take possession of their weapon. And that’s not all. A gun owner who doesn’t store his or her weapon “properly” can be prosecuted.
