Breaking!: A report released Friday claims four of Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel’s deputies waited outside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School while the attack was occurring.

Sheriff Israel is finished!

Now CNN reports that the Coral Springs police officers claim three other Broward County deputies were outside the school but failed to go inside as well. They quote “Coral Springs sources” who said the three “deputies had their pistols drawn and were behind their vehicles” when Coral Springs officers arrived. They said “not one of [the deputies] had gone into the school.”

The sources indicate other Broward County deputies arrived on scene, and two of those new arrivals joined with Coral Springs officers and entered the building.

The sources said, “Coral Springs police were stunned and upset that the four original Broward County Sheriff’s deputies who were first on the scene did not appear to join them as they entered the school.”

Operation Mockingbird

Operation Mockingbird is a CIA project to subvert the original mission of the news media, to control corporate media for its own purposes.

Origins
Operation Mockingbird began in 1950, organized by Allen Dulles and Cord Meyer.[1] The CIA spent today's equivalent of one billion dollars a year hiring journalists from Corporate Media including CBS, The New York Times, ABC, NBC, Newsweek, Associated Press and others, to promote their point of view. The original operation reportedly involved some 3,000 CIA operatives and hired over 400 journalists. [2]

Trump Plans Major Boost to Record Arms Sales

***
We’ve already seen some efforts toward this end, centering around making State Department officials public shills for US arms dealers, going to conferences to try to sell arms to other nations. The new guidance will aim to weaken the already paltry limits in place on exports.

The idea is that sometimes the approval process for sales abroad is too slow, or too difficult, and that’s convincing some nations to shop elsewhere.>>>

Poop map shows scale of San Francisco's human tragedy

By Stan Schroeder and Chris Taylor
Nov 21, 2014

It's common knowledge that San Francisco has a serious homelessness problem. Estimates of the size of the city's streetbound population vary between 6,000 and 10,000, depending on the source. But that population, largely confined to a few nonresidential downtown neighborhoods, can too easily become invisible to most residents.

One thing isn't invisible, however: the problem of human poop on sidewalks. Since the city slashed funding for Parks and Recreation in 2009, there's a distinct shortage of working public bathrooms. And that led to a spike in reports of public pooping to the city's 311 help line.

COVERT MIND CONTROL PROGRAMS AND MASS SHOOTINGS

Danny F. Quest, Contributor
Waking Times

This article is going to be hard for some people to accept. Depending on what level of awareness you currently have and how far you have ventured into the rabbit-hole some of the information presented thus forward may be overwhelming and/or frightening some of the claims made may make you skeptical of the truth, again depending on your perception of reality. Before we jump into the realization that covert elements of the United States Central Intelligence agency and it’s black budget apparatus have been using military mind-control technology to implement false-flag terror attacks on the American people as part of a larger geo-political agenda, lets first ask ourselves if these type of technologies could even exist?

Tax Reform And IRS Resistance

It’s a little-known fact that for 35 years the Internal Revenue Service has exempted itself from the most basic regulatory oversight. When the Labor Department or the Small Business Administration create “major” or “significant” rules or guidance, they are required to submit them for centralized review. That ensures regulations are consistent with the law and with White House priorities and that they’ve been analyzed for costs, benefits and flexibility.

But in 1983, the Treasury Department signed a memorandum with the Office of Management and Budget that largely exempted the IRS from submitting its rules to White House review via OIRA, the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. The memo still stands today. In the face of congressional attempts at oversight, the IRS issued a 1996 opinion claiming that tax statutes are in and of themselves responsible for any costs or inflexibility—that the IRS’s rules are, by definition, pure distillation of law. ...

Sheriff Scott Israel accused of misusing office for political campaign

TAMARAC, Fla. - Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel didn't make it to a political forum for local candidates at a condominium for senior citizens Wednesday afternoon, but he seemed well-represented by his underlings nonetheless.

Working the door and passing out Broward Sheriff's Office pamphlets, some of which featured prominent photos of the sheriff, was Patti Lynn, a BSO employee in full uniform. There was also Capt. Ira Goldberg, a longtime Israel campaign volunteer, who was also dressed in BSO garb and on the clock. There was also Tamarac Chief Neal Glassman, as well as a lieutenant.

Broward homicide detective blows whistle on Sheriff Israel; alleges cover up and retaliation

Jeffrey Kogan, a featured detective on the A&E channel’s police reality show “The First 48,” contends he was ostracized and demoted to road patrol after reporting he saw the dog handler unnecessarily sic the animal on a murder suspect who was in custody and no longer a threat.

Sheriff Israel, a former Fort Lauderdale police officer, is the lone defendant in the nine-page complaint filed July 12 in Broward Circuit Court. He is accused of engaging in or allowing “unlawful retribution and retaliation,” including “verbal abuse, harassment and intimidation for reporting official misconduct and participating in its investigation.”

Israel A Leading Tax Haven

***
It makes new immigrants and returning ex-pats living abroad at least 10 years exempt from taxes on foreign assets for 10 years - whatever their source. Other Israeli citizens are taxed on all their income - whether earned domestically or abroad.

The law turned Israel into a money/laundering tax haven for super-rich Jews living abroad, encouraging aliyah, emigration to Israel, making it worth their while financially.

The capital gains exemption is the most attractive part of the law, a major incentive to emigrate, foreign assets of super-wealthy immigrants shielded from taxes

Mass school shooting staged for SWAT training

East Bridgewater Police Sergeant Michael W. McLaughlin scripted a large scale active shooter training scenario last week at the old East Bridgewater High School for the South Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council’s SWAT team. The training exercise was staged to simulate realistic scenes in preparation for any real scenarios.

As the script reads, John Smith—a fictitious 18-year-old student created by Sgt. McLaughin— was still reeling from a break-up with his ex-girlfriend, a junior at East Bridgewater High School. So Smith decided to teach her a lesson. Shortly before 7 a.m., he detonated a home-made pipe bomb at the school’s entrance, seriously injuring a school bus driver and two students, then he shot and killed the school resource officer and another student.

FLASHBACK:Government agents 'directly involved' in most high-profile US terror plots

Nearly all of the highest-profile domestic terrorism plots in the United States since 9/11 featured the "direct involvement" of government agents or informants, a new report says.

Feb 16 18:52

FBI organizes almost all terror plots in the US

The Federal Bureau of Investigation employs upwards of 15,000 undercover agents today, ten times what they had on the roster back in 1975.

If you think that’s a few spies too many — spies earning as much as $100,000 per assignment — one doesn’t have to go too deep into their track record to see their accomplishments. Those agents are responsible for an overwhelming amount of terrorist stings that have stopped major domestic catastrophes in the vein of 9/11 from happening on American soil.

Another thing those agents are responsible for, however, is plotting those very schemes.

Get ready to pay more at the pump: President backs a gas tax hike of 25 cents per gallon – that's 235 per cent! – to pay for massive infrastructure plan

President Donald Trump is quietly telling members of Congress that he would support a 235 per cent hike in the federal tax Americans pay for gasoline and diesel fuel.

Filling a car's tank currently carries a federal tax of 18.4 cents per gallon, a rate that hasn't changed since 1993.

Trump is proposing a 25-cent increase, according to Politico.

The president wants the funds to pay for a massive expansion in America's infrastructure – including upgrades and replacements of roads, bridges, tunnels, airports, seaports and railways.

Trump Privatizes America

***
Well, many states and localities have blocks to prevent privatization giveaways. They want to prevent what happened in Indiana with its toll road. They say, “Wait a minute. Privatization is going to be a giveaway. It’s going to triple the costs of providing infrastructure services. It’s going to price our cities and states out of the market if we go along with this plan.” Trump’s plan says that in order to qualify for public funding, states have to abolish its regulatory framework, environmental laws and restrictions on private funding.

What Trump basically said is that states and cities have to let themselves be robbed blind by the hedge funds and Wall Street. Just as the hedge funds robbed Chicago blind on the parking meters – getting a huge rate of return that probably will force Mayor Rahm out of office at the next election – local governments have to let privatizers come in and vastly increase their cost of living for the infrastructure they need.

This means that this so-called infrastructure plan would have the effect of destroying America’s competitiveness instead of contributing to it.>>>

The Causes of the “Civil War” in the Words of Abraham Lincoln and Jefferson Davis

“When [the states] entered into the Union of 1789, it was with the undeniable recognition of the power of the people to resume the authority delegated for the purposes of that government, whenever in their opinion, its functions were perverted and its ends defeated . . . the sovereign States here represented have seceded from that Union, and it is a gross abuse of language to denominate the act rebellion or revolution.”

–Jefferson Davis, First Inaugural Address, Montgomery, Alabama, February 1861.

Lincoln asserted that it was not voluntary, and was more like what future generations would come to know as the Soviet Union – held together by force and bloodshed.

“US Foreign Policy Is the Greatest Crime Since WWII,” Former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark

The US Secretary of State’s criminally insane back handed remarks favoring a civil war, with all the probable loss of lives a civil war would bring, seems to fit as appropriate within a US foreign policy of world domination. Human suffering has never been of any consequence to the financial interests of that 1/10 of 1 per cent of Americans who, to one degree or another, rule us all.

That is the way it has been since the end of the Second World War, a war made possible by US investments and joint ventures in the rearming of Nazi Germany,[ 2] a war that made the USA rich and the first all powerful single superpower.

Milwaukee Jail Staffers Charged in ‘Appalling’ Death of Inmate Denied Water

Three Milwaukee County Jail staffers were given felony charges Monday for their involvement in the 2016 death of a mentally ill inmate, Terrill Thomas, who was denied water for a week as punishment for bad behavior.

At the time of Thomas' death, the jail was overseen by conservative activist Sheriff David Clarke, who retired in August 2017 to join a committee supporting US President Donald Trump.

Sheriff's Maj. Nancy Evans, the jail's former commander, was charged with felony misconduct in office and misdemeanor obstruction after lying to investigators about how long Thomas was denied water and withholding surveillance video that showed water being cut off to Thomas' cell and not being turned on again.

If the Russiagate conspiracy against Trump and American democracy goes unpunished, accountable government in the United States will cease to exist. US security agencies have long been involved in coups against foreign governments. Now they are involved in one against America. There is great danger that Republicans are so worshipful of “national security” and so determined to protect the reputation of the US government that they will give a pass to the high officials who participated in a conspiracy against the United States.

Trump says America open for business. Marijuana industry asks “What about us?"

WASHINGTON

President Donald Trump told world leaders that America is open for business. But one budding U.S. industry — marijuana growers and sellers — sees irony in this boast, which comes as they feel forced by the administration to invest millions in cannabis businesses across the border.

Privateer, which has the backing of the Silicon Valley mogul and Trump supporter Peter Thiel, announced Thursday that it had raised more than $100 million in its third round of fundraising. Kennedy said those dollars, which brings their total funding to $200 million, shows that U.S. investors continue to see growth opportunities despite the federal government’s threats to clamp down. But Kennedy said more than 75 percent of the funding would be invested in Canada and overseas where governments are more supportive of the industry.

“That money would have gone to jobs and would have gone to pay taxes in the U.S. It would have gone to manufacturing facilities in the U.S.,” Kennedy said.

Air Force One Refrigerator Replacements To Cost Taxpayers $24mn

Experts say Boeing's nearly $24 million contract to install two new refrigerators on Air Force One is not price gouging, but due to the specific requirements of the presidential plane. The jet is designed to store 3,000 meals

Air Force One has a total of five chillers that can store about 3,000 meals to feed up to 100 passengers and crew for weeks without resupplying, according to Defense One. The chillers on the jumbo jet date back to 1990, when the current model of the presidential planes were first deployed.

Boeing was awarded a $23,657,671 contract to design, test, and install two VC-25A G12/G13 chillers for the customized 747 jumbo jet in December.

Pot banning supervisors served recall notices

These anti-freedom mattoids are goin down, down, down!

Two county supervisors who played a role in enacting a pot ban in Calaveras County were served with notices of intent to recall them Tuesday during a board meeting in San Andreas.

Two separate groups, led by Jeremy Maddux of District 4 and Joan Wilson of District 1 respectively, served Supervisors Dennis Mills, District 4, and Gary Tofanelli, District 1, recall notices after both campaigns obtained more than the required 20 signatures since last week in support of their efforts.

Maddux said during public comment that Mills was a “divisive” politician, who brought a personal agenda into the office in banning cannabis. He condemned the supervisor for alleged Ralph M. Brown Act violations, “disparaging” remarks to county staff and disregard for members of the public who challenged his positions.

How a Cannabis Ban Turned One California County Into 'Ground Zero for Chaos'

After millions were invested in legal, environmentally safe Cannabis farms and over $12 million in taxes were collected from them, a new County Supervisor shut them all down. The count of Calaveras lost 20% of their operating funds. The only other industry they have is ranching and kale growing.

On Jan. 10, supervisors in this historic county—where Gold Rush mining camps flourished in 1850—voted to kill off the Green Rush that exploded here in 2016. By a 3–2 tally, the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors declared all commercial cannabis farms illegal. The county planning department estimated that as many as 1,600 commercial cannabis growers were operating in the region in mid-2017. Many of them were licensed by the county. Now, the move to ban cannabis businesses means every one of those growers must cease operations by May 1. Millions of dollars in tax money will vanish from the economically beleaguered county of 45,000 residents.

In the months leading up to the passage of the Republican Party’s long-awaited tax bill last year, the powerful political operation run by the billionaire Koch brothers was one of the strongest forces pressuring lawmakers to pass massive tax cuts for wealthy individuals and corporations.

Wealthy exodus to escape new tax rules worries California Democrats

The Republican-backed federal tax bill flipped the tables on a never-ending question for California politicians: Will high taxes lead the state’s wealthiest residents to flee the Golden State for the comparable tax havens of Florida, Nevada and Texas?

Republicans reliably raise that alarm when Democrats advocate for tax increases, like the 2012 and 2016 ballot initiatives that levied a new income tax on very high-earning residents.

But now, with the federal tax bill cutting off deductions that benefited well-off Californians, the state’s Democrats suddenly are singing the GOP song about a potential millionaire exodus.

“People with higher incomes pay a lot more money, and some of them may be tempted to leave,” Gov. Jerry Brown said when he unveiled his 2018-19 budget proposal last week. “This was an assault by the Republicans in Congress against California.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Governor Brown, that last statement was pure bull-biscuits, sir, and you know it!!

In this country, every individual has the right to "vote with their feet", as a lot of well-to-do Californians have already done. When a state's tax burden becomes too high (as California's already is), and there is really nothing to show for the money spent, like a consistently dysfunctional educational system; health care which cannot deliver; a massive gap between wages and corporate profits; and the voluntary saddling of the state's infrastructure with illegal immigrants whose presence has bled the State of California dry, through entitlements, etc., you have.... a non-functional, failed US State.

And Governor Brown, this is precisely where California stands right now. In fact, if you have chosen NOT to read it, I highly commend the following article in the LA Times: Why is liberal California the poverty capital of America?

The hard and true reality is this; for quite some time, legislation made on the State level, has brought California to its knees, in terms of stopping it from being the kind of growth engine one wants to see, and should see, here.

And California, its citizens and businesses, are paying the price for many amazingly lousy legislative decisions made by people who do not have a clue how business works, and how they profit, because they have always had various jobs with the State before they run for public office.

So to those tax/infrastructure/fed up better-to-do Californians who are really ready to vote with their feet, let me encourage you to do so; the State of California has brought this upon itself, and if it cannot fix it, you have every right to leave for states with better, more sensible tax structures than does California.

Engineering Faster Planes in WWII: Kelly Johnson, the P-38 and the P-80

Clarence "Kelly" Johnson (BSE AeroE ’32, MSE ’33) was a bold an innovative aircraft designer. One of his earlier planes, the Lockheed P-38 Lightning, echoes that description well. Head Skunk

The name of the super-secret project was Suntan. It was to be the ultimate reconnaissance airplane, flying so high and so fast—it was to cruise above 100,000 feet at Mach 2—that detection would be unlikely and interception impossible. But it also would have been a giant winged thermos bottle, with a fuel tank full of liquid hydrogen at –400 degrees Fahrenheit and its outer skin baking at 350 degrees or more. A proposed hydrogen liquefaction plant dedicated to producing fuel for several of the airplanes would have sucked up 10 percent of the natural gas supply of Los Angeles in two years. Flying the highly unstable and explosive liquid to the airplanes’ bases would have required a fleet of heavy transports. An accident with one of the transports would have made the Hindenburg disaster look like a campfire.
