Saudi Arabia up in Flames: Riyadh Is Headed for a Major Disaster

The Saudi kingdom finds itself in an increasingly dangerous situation as a result of the retaliatory capacity of the Houthis, able to inflict severe military and economic damage on Riyadh with their missile forces. Estimates suggest that Riyadh is losing something in the region of $300 million a day from the Houthi attacks. On Sunday September 15, a spokesman for the Saudi oil ministry spoke of damage that is yet to be calculated, possibly requiring weeks of repair. Meanwhile, Saudi oil production has halved following the Saturday attack. With a military budget of $200,000, the Houthis managed to inflict damage numbering in the billions of dollars.

“Houthi Attack” on Saudi Oil Fields – a False Flag? The Financial Reaction Was Immediate

If it all sounds like a big fabricated confusion, it’s because it is a big fabricated confusion. Iran is singled out; fingers pointing to Iran (except, miraculously those of Saudi Arabia), like a sledgehammer hitting Iran, again and again. – The mainstream media loves it. Today, a week after the attack, most nobody remembers the Houthis claiming responsibility – it was Iran. Period. The media blitz won.

Webmaster's Commentary:

France's Macron absolutely seemed to be on the correct track, when he sent a team of forensic specialists to Riyadh, to see what could be determined; but I am very concerned that before they have time to even open their scientific equipment, there will be a new, and devastating attack against Saudi Arabia, which will involve civilians, as this would create Saudia Arabia's "bloody shirt to wave/Pearl Harbor" moment.

I hope to hell that I am dead wrong on this scenario; but even with President Trump's having dispatched more US military personnel, and weaponry here, this may well not prevent another attack, if the first attacks ultimately received relatively little traction, and was about to get a true forensic investigation going.

Indian PM Modi Calls for Building ‘A New Kashmir’

New Delhi (Sputnik): In a shift from the much-used slogan of “Kashmir is Ours” all these years in election speeches, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called on people to work towards building a new Kashmir, as he gave people a new slogan — “We’ve to Build A New Kashmir”.

“Earlier the slogan was ‘Kashmir Humara Hai’ (Kashmir is Ours). Now we must work towards a new slogan, ‘Naya Kashmir Banana Hai’ (We’ve to Build a New Kashmir),” he said, addressing a public rally in Nashik city of the Indian state of Maharashtra, which is expected to undergo state elections soon.

While giving a clarion call to embrace Kashmiri brothers and sisters, the Indian prime minister said there is need to strive to create a “new paradise in Kashmir” once again.

Stating that a lot of efforts are being made from across the border to create mistrust and violence in Jammu and Kashmir, he said: “We have to create a new paradise in Kashmir... embrace each Kashmiri.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Prime Minister Modi, a word, here, please; giving the voters of India a "new catch phrase", regarding Kashmir, is somewhat akin to attempting to put a large bandaid on a metastasizing cancer, and will have the same effect; absolutely nothing, for the people of Kashmir; Pakistan and India.

And when your counterpart in Pakistan, Prime Minister Khan, is making statements like the following:

Pakistani PM Khan hints at nuking India in ‘surrender-or-death’ scenario, which will almost inevitably see a regional, if not a world war, that is an absolute guarantee, your new rhetoric is getting zero traction.

There is a desperate need for real, moral, hard-won negotiations regarding Kashmir to come about, and right now; because if these do not happen, it will be catastrophic for the entire region.

Whoever attacks Iran will become ‘main battlefield’ – IRGC commander

The chief of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has vowed to shoot down all drones violating the nation’s airspace and repel any aggressor. The warning came after the US accused Iran of hitting Saudi oil sites.
Tehran is ready for “any scenario,” and remains determined to fight back “until the full destruction of any aggressor,” IRGC commander, Major General Hossein Salami, told reporters at a news conference on Saturday.

“Whoever wants their land to become the main battlefield, go ahead,” he said.

Salami made his comments while showcasing the pieces of a US RQ-4 Global Hawk spy drone that was downed by the IRGC over the Strait of Hormuz in June. Iran claimed the drone had violated its airspace, though this was disputed by Washington. Salami vowed to “take action” against all foreign drones violating the nation’s borders.

“If anyone crosses our borders, we will hit them,” he stated.

Another 'Total Massacre' Ignored By Mainstream: US Drone Strike Kills 30 Farmers In Afghanistan

Authored by Eoin Higgins via CommonDreams.org,

A U.S. drone attack killed 30 pine nut farmers and wounded at least 40 others in Afghanistan Wednesday night, the latest killing of innocent civilians by American forces as the "war on terror" enters its 19th year.

The farmers had just finished work and were sitting by a fire when the strike happened, according to tribal elder Malik Rahat Gul.

"Some of us managed to escape, some were injured, but many were killed," said farm laborer Juma Gul.

Reteurs reported that there may be more farmers missing:

Haidar Khan, who owns the pine nut fields, said about 150 workers were there for harvesting, with some still missing as well as the confirmed dead and injured.

A survivor of the drone strike said about 200 laborers were sleeping in five tents pitched near the farm when the attack happened.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, Colonel Sonny Leggett, if the attack was made on pine nut farm workers during a harvest, where, please, were these Da'esh against whom you alleged you were attacking?!?

I am very strongly reminded of George Carlin's monologue about this issue; and for me, Carlin was far more than a comedian; he was, at some levels, a prophet.

George Carlin Monologue

And here comes "the coup de grace" on the entire sordid issue: US Defends Attacking Afghan Farm Laborers, Says ISIS Was Pretending to Harvest

This article goes on to state: "Provincial officials remain deeply critical over Thursday’s US attack on the camp of a group of farm laborers in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar, killing at least 32 civilian farm workers and wounding 40 others, many of them children.

US officials, however, continue to maintain that what everyone in the region knew were hired hands for a pine nut harvest were actually ISIS fighters, claiming that the ISIS fighters were just pretending to work as harvesters.

There is no evidence for that, and a lot of evidence to the contrary, particularly that the village in question had written to top officials weeks ago to inform them of the upcoming harvest, the temporary camp, and asking them not to attack the economically vital harvest of the forest."

Here, folks, is that letter: Letter detailian Civilian Presence, failed to Prevent a deadly Afghan Drone Strike

This article goes on to state: "‘HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO US?’
Malak Khaiyali Khan, chief of Jaora village in the Wazir Tangi area, had sent his teenage son along with three friends to shell pine nuts.

On Thursday evening, four bodies were handed over to Khan, including that of his son.

“My son and his friends were killed by the Americans. How could they do this to us?” said Khan, who was leading a protest against the strike before the burial rites."

IF these US officials actually made that turd of a statement, names should be named; because in looking at what happened to these hapless farmers, it appears, painfully clearly, that this came from the Official Department of "You Can Make this S*it Up, and People are really going to believe you!!!"

Doubting Iran Link, Macron Sends French Experts to Investigate Saudi Oil Attack

French President Emmanuel Macron is deploying experts to Saudi Arabia to investigate the origin of the attacks on major oil facilities that Washington and Riyadh blame on Iran, Paris said Wednesday.
France’s presidential palace announced Macron’s decision to send the experts after the French leader held a phone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman (MBS), the Agence France-Presse (AFP) news agency reports.

The United States and Saudi Arabia have accused Iran of carrying out Saturday’s devastating attacks on two facilities operated by the Sunni kingdom’s state-run Aramco. Macron’s administration appears to doubt Iran’s involvement in the debilitating attacks. Iran also denies involvement in the assault on the two plants, which include the top petroleum processing facility in the world.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Macron is doing the logical thing here, and precisely what Russia's President Putin called for a couple of days ago; a fully unbiased examination of the results, to understand what actually happened here.

Donald Trump Threatens to Dump Imprisoned Daesh Fighters at Europe’s Doorstep

US President Donald Trump has threatened to set prisoners from Europe who joined Daesh* in Syria and Iraq free at the EU’s borders if they refuse to take back the captives. According to the American commander-in-chief, after the US defeated the so-called caliphate, Washington has “thousands of prisoners of war, ISIS fighters" who are European nationals, but these countries are refusing to cooperate. He singled out France and Germany when speaking on the matter.

"We're asking the countries from which they came, from Europe, we're asking them to take back these prisoners of war. And they can try them, do what they want. So far, they've refused. And at some point, I'm going to have to say, 'I'm sorry, but you either take them back or we're going to let them go at your border'", he said.

BREAKING: Iran Will Secure Maritime Borders, Give ‘Crushing Reaction’ to Any Aggression, Navy Commander Says

Earlier, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, said that any country that attacks Iran would be the "main battlefield".

Iran's Navy Commander Hossein Khanzadi has said that Tehran is prepared to defend its maritime borders and will respond with a "crushing reaction" to any aggression by enemies.

Earlier, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said that Iran will not allow anyone to violate its borders. He added that the Islamic Republic extends the hand of friendship to all of its neighbours.

Iran will present a proposal to the UN on how it intends to cooperate with other countries in the region to ensure the security of the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz, according to Rouhani.

HomeWorld NewsPakistani PM Khan hints at nuking India in ‘surrender-or-death’ scenario

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan warned of “consequences” if nuclear-armed Pakistan ends up losing a conventional war to its nuclear-armed rival and neighbor India.
Asked in an Al Jazeera interview to set the record straight on whether Pakistan would hit India with nuclear weapons in case of a large-scale conflict, Khan began with the disclaimer that he would never be the one to attack.

“Pakistan would never start a war, and I am clear: I am a pacifist. I am anti-war,” he said.

However, the prime minister quickly added that when two nuclear-armed states “fight a conventional war, there is every possibility that it is going to end up into nuclear war.” And while he described it as “unthinkable,” his next hint sent a clear message about what Pakistan may do if it’s losing a conventional war against India.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Prime Minister Khan, a word, please: all Christians, Muslims, and Jews are Collectively, universally characterized as,"People of the Book", meaning we have origin stories; prophecies; and with some prophecies fulfilled.

I would like to politely suggest to you, that even talking about using nuclear weapons over India's treatment of Kashmir, puts Pakistan on a short list for "regime change", and quickly.

IT is of the highest, most critical matter, that Pakistan and India begin talks again, in earnest, because the horrific scenarios such an attack will create, will most likely create a world war, in a heartbeat.

I am asking you to do something which is very difficult (not to mention, politically dangerous), to do; to engender an understanding between your country and India, that Kashmir will have a solid opportunity to create its own future, through a transparent, and responsible referendum process, and decide if it will be independent; stay with India; or ask to join Pakistan.

I strongly believe that this will ratched down the tensions here, and create a more peaceful opportunity for trade, cultural exchanges, and education (down the road), for all the people of Kashmir; India; and Pakistan.

Saudi Arabia executes 134 people including six kids as brutal crucifixions spike

More than 134 people have been brutally executed in Saudi Arabia so far this year, including six who were just kids when they were arrested.

A massive spike in crucifixions and beheadings has seen the slain tortured and slaughtered by brutal methods, according to a human rights organisation.

In a report presented at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Baroness Helena Kennedy, QC revealed a further 24 people are at “imminent risk” of execution.

They include three children, prominent political opponents of the crown prince, clerics, and human rights campaigners.

An event hosted by The Death Penalty Project highlighted the “illegal and arbitrary executions” in Saudi Arabia as well as human rights abuses for both detainees and their families.

Experts said these abuses have been "exacerbated by the systematic torture of detainees and grossly unfair trials culminating in death sentences".

Webmaster's Commentary:

Cheney has absolutely no interest in keeping America safe. She is calling for an immediate attack on Iran.

From The Hill:

House Republican Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) said on Wednesday the U.S. should consider a “proportional military response” against Iran, among other potential actions, over its suspected involvement in drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s oil supply.

Here is How China-US Trade War Impacts Iran

In the last week of August, China added crude oil imports from the US to its tariff list for the first time in a retaliatory decision against the US decision to impose fresh tariffs on Chinese products. China imports about 6 per cent of its crude oil from the US. For an economy that increasingly relies on crude oil imports, this decision carries a lot of significance.
First, in terms of trade war, Chinese tariffs on oil imports from the US will undermine the US position as the world’s ‘new champion oil producer.’
China, accordingly, is also investing about 120 billion dollars in Iran’s transport and manufacturing infrastructure.China’s investment also comes with Chinese troops on the ground in Iran. Sending a clear message to the US, about 5,000 Chinese security personnel will be placed in Iran to protect Chinese projects from possible sabotage attempts by the rivals countries through their sponsored non-state actors, or even directly.

Leaked Army document reveals the whole ‘one weekend a month’ reserve thing is kinda b*llshit

The recruiting commercials for the Army Reserve proclaim "one weekend each month," but the real-life Army Reserve might as well say "hold my beer."
That's because the weekend "recruiting hook" — as it's called in a leaked document compiled by Army personnel for the new chief of staff — reveal that it's, well, kinda bullshit.
"The Army Reserve is cashing in on uncompensated sacrifices of its Soldiers on a scale that must be in the tens of millions of dollars, and that is a violation of trust, stewardship, and the Army Values," one Army Reserve lieutenant colonel, who also complained that his battalion commander "demanded" that he be available at all times, told members of an Army Transition Team earlier this year.

In addition, the colonel added, the Army Reserve had sucked up so much of his time that he was "struggling to keep my marriage and family together."

Trump says going into Iran would be a "very easy decision"

President Trump said going into Iran would be a "very easy" decision, but he's showing restraint. Mr. Trump made the comments during a news conference alongside Australian prime minister Scott Morrison Friday, after announcing new sanctions leveled against Iran.

"We are by far the strongest military in the world," Mr. Trump said. "Going into Iran would be a very easy decision, as I've said before — would be very easy, the easiest thing. Most people thought I would go in within two seconds but plenty of time, plenty of time," the president said. "In the meantime, they have a lot of problems within Iran. Iran could be a great country, could be a rich country. But they are choosing to go a different way. There'll be a point at which they'll be very sorry for that choice. But I think I'm showing great restraint."

The Saudis Get a Taste of Their Own Medicine

The Mideast has its own variety of crazy humor. The Saudis have been blasting and bombing wretched Yemen, one of this world’s poorest nations, since 2015.

These US-supported attacks and a naval blockade of Yemen imposed by Saudi Arabia and its sidekick ally, the United Arab Emirates, have caused mass starvation.
No one knows how many Yemenis have died or are currently starving. Estimates run from 250,000 to one million. The black humor? The Saudis just claimed they were victims of Iranian `aggression’ this past week after the kingdom’s leading oil treatment facility at Abqaiq was hit by a flight of armed drones or cruise missiles.

US to deploy more troops to Saudi Arabia after attack on oil industry

The Pentagon on Friday announced it will deploy additional US troops and missile defense equipment to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as Donald Trump has at least for now put off any immediate military strike on Iran in response to the attack on the Saudi oil industry.

The US defense secretary, Mark Esper, told Pentagon reporters this is a first step to beef up security and he would not rule out additional moves down the road. General Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said more details about the deployment will be determined in the coming days, but it would not involve thousands of US troops.

Other officials said the US deployment would probably be in the hundreds and the defensive equipment heading to the Middle East would probably include Patriot missile batteries and possibly enhanced radars.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am hoping - and praying - that these deployed personnel, are not going to wind up as "sacrificial lambs" from the next wave of attacks against Saudi Arabia; that would, indeed, give President Trump, his Israeli and domestic neocons, the absolute "bloody shirt" required with which to guarantee a US attack against Iran.

"Suspiciously Well Placed": First Images Of Crippling Damage To Giant Khurais Oil Field Revealed

Much of the attention concerning the crippling damage to Saudi Aramco facilities struck in last week's aerial attack ultimately blamed on "Iranian sponsorship" by US and Saudi officials has focused on Abqaiq processing plant, but on Friday the first on the ground images from the kingdom's giant Khurais oil field — the country's second largest — have been revealed, showing scorched infrastructure, ruptured pipelines, and "a mess of oil melted to asphalt, twisted and charred metal grates" according to an on site Bloomberg report.

And yet Aramco has remained insistent that the field will return to pre-attack output levels this month, after the company reported losing half its daily output in the aftermath of the early Saturday attacks, impacting a whopping 5% of total global supply.

Per Bloomberg, Khurais has a capacity of 1.45 million barrels a day, processing all oil on site; however the attack took out four 300-foot towers essential to the production process.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, an inside job by aided and abetted by dissident Saudis, or a false flag by Israel, for which the Houthi took the credit?!?

This almost doesn't matter, because if there are more strikes, my sense is that they will be done over highly civilian-occupied targets, insuring that Saudi Arabia has its own "bloody shirt to wave"; in the end, the US and Saudi Arabia, will continue to blame the attacks against Iran, because that will be the "justification" for the US and Saudi Arabia attacking Iran.

Pentagon to Present Trump, Aides With a ‘Range’ of Iran Military Options

Though President Trump has downplayed the idea of war with Iran over the past couple of days, the actual decision is to be made at a high-profile meeting, either Thursday or Friday depending according to reports.

Trump will be joined by a number of national security officials and other aides, and will be presented with a wide array of options by the Pentagon. Options are said to range from full-scale war to a simple cyberattack.

Gen. Joe Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was very clear about the Pentagon not pushing any specific agenda on this matter, saying the response would be purely a “political judgement.”

Among Trump’s officials, Pompeo is seen as the one pushing hardest for a military response. He’s been in Saudi Arabia meeting with officials there, and probably will come back all the more hawkish.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The overnights of the last polls on this issue, showed that only 13% of Americans believed that an attack against Iran was the right thing to do.

Of course, these attacks happened at around 4 AM in the morning, when most probably the least amount of personnel were tending to these buildings; but were I a betting person, I would not bet against another Houthi attack, or an Israeli false flag.

At that point, the presstitutes will definitely be using the banner "This is the Saudi's Pearl Harbor moment!!!!!"

I sincerely hope that the American people, who have been at war over 20 years, with nothing terribly substantial having been won for them, will continue to be skeptical and demand the facts.

Because logic and facts are the only things which may, with enough energy applied to them, be the only things holding this country back from initiating a Third World War.

BY MARCEL DETTMER ON SEPTEMBER 18, 2019INTERNATIONAL POLITICS
Largely unnoticed by the Western media, the Syrian government under Bashar al-Assad issued a general amnesty for crimes committed prior to that date on September 14, 2019. The "Decree No. 20" is part of a series of previous pardon - as it had been in the autumn of last year, an amnesty for deserters and conscientious objectors - is new, however, that the decision also concerns the civilian area. The aim is to make it easier, especially for Syrian refugees, to return to the largely peaceful country.

Luongo: Will The Yemen War Be The End Of Saudi Arabia?

Authored by Tom Luongo, Zero Hedge

The attack on Saudi Arabia’s major oil processing station in Abqaiq over the weekend was a major turning point in global politics. It may be even bigger than many of us realize.

While forces within U.S. political circles, Israel and Saudi Arabia keep trying to shift the blame to Iran, the most likely scenario is that the Houthis in North Yemen were responsible for the attack as a follow up to last month’s hit which showed off the capabilities of their new drones.

That attack set the stage for the latest one in a classic case of the past being prologue. By showing the world it was capable of throwing drones anywhere in Saudi Arabia rebels in Yemen created plausibility for last weekend’s attack.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And there is a question which must be asked of our weapons makers, in closed door meetings ,with secure communications protocols in place, with President Trump attending every one of them, actually or virtually, particularly those who supported Candidate Trump when he ran for President in 2016;

Why did US military weapons have a 100 % failure rate during these attacks against the Saudi oil infrastructure?!?

Because I can tell you that global weapons buyers for their countries are looking at each other with astonishment, that the very weapons the US pedals to other countries, as the alleged "best of the best of the best", are the same weapons which failed, so critically, in the attack?!?

Escobar: How The Houthis Overturned The Chessboard

Authored by Pepe Escobar via The Saker blog,

The Yemeni Shiite group’s spectacular attack on Abqaiq raises the distinct possibility of a push to drive the House of Saud from power.

Houthi striking capability – from drone swarms to ballistic missile attacks – has been improving remarkably for the past year or so. It’s not by accident that the UAE saw which way the geopolitical and geoeconomic winds were blowing: Abu Dhabi withdrew from Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s vicious war against Yemen and now is engaged in what it describes as a “peace-first” strategy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That it was not expected that the Houthis could ever fight back, and in such an intensely destructive fashion, may have been the most spectacular failure of imagination, on the part of both American, and Saudi, intelligence.

Unfortunately, this moment of awareness has not stopped the US and Saudi Arabia from continuing to blame Iran (a convenient whipping boy, due to its oil wealth (and a product which they refuse to sell in US dollars) and general stability in the region.

I would like to politely suggest that both countries examine the statement of a Russian diplomat at the end of a consortium, stating the following:

Iran won't be alone if the US attacks it

This was stated by Iranian diplomat Zamir Kabulov, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Asian countries including Iran, at a Russian-Iranian policy forum in Moscow.

I would strongly caution both the US and Saudi Arabia that this came down from the "big guy" himself, in Russian Politics, President Putin; I would also strongly caution both countries, that Putin meant what Kabulov stated.

The United States has become a hi-tech Blackbeard.

ISTANBUL – The drone attack on Saudi Arabia oil facilities on September 14 is jolting the entire Middle East, the latest incident in a months-long battle between the Trump Administration and Iran. Yemen’s Houthi movement claimed credit for the devastating attack that shut down half of Saudi Arabia’s oil production. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blames Iran for the attack, while Iran has categorically denied it.
Let’s not forget that the Trump Administration started this low-level war by withdrawing from the Iran nuclear accord. The U.N. Security Council voted unanimously to ratify the agreement, so the U.S. stands in violation of UN resolutions and international law.

The owner of the fields said at least 150 workers were resting when the attack happened. Many of them remained missing, he added.

In the wake of the attack, US military command for the Middle East suggested sending more air defence missile systems to Saudi Arabia after existing ones failed to foil the strike.

Some 88 Patriot systems deployed in Saudi Arabia failed to repel attack on Saudi Aramco oil facilities, letting dozens of drones and guided missiles get through defences, a high-ranking source in the Russian Defence Ministry said. The source dismissed the excuse that the US Secretary of State gave to explain the Patriot fiasco, noting that in fact the American air defence system simply has low efficiency

Webmaster's Commentary:

Wait one minute, did I just read that correctly?!?

Then please answer this question; are our American military just as vulnerable as were the Saudis when these attacks happened?!?

And the best and brightest US engineers who have developed these US military systems got overwhelmed... by a bunch of allegedly "primitive drones"?!?

So, President Trump, what is wrong with this picture?!? ABSOLUTELY BLOODY EVERYTHING.

Mr. President, you and Vice President Pence, need to "work the phones" of all your contributors in the military defense industry, and there should be, immediately, (private) conferences on why the US had a 100% failure rate in Saudi Arabia, where the need for these damned systems is desperately critical in order to protect the oil infrastructure here, and the US failed...miserably.

This cannot, sir, cannot happen again, because if it did, any foreign buyer, thinking about buy US-made weaponry may well march right out of the negotiating room, and into either Russia's or China's embassy in their countries, to discuss buying weapons... which actually work.

WHOOPS, MY FINGER SLIPPED! HAWAIIANS PANIC AS POLICE TRIGGER FALSE TSUNAMI WARNING DURING TRAINING

SOURCE: RT
n a somewhat disturbing case of deja vu, the emergency warning sirens sounded in several parts of Hawaii early Wednesday evening, evoking memories of January’s false ballistic missile alert.
The alarm was inadvertently set off during Honolulu Police Department dispatcher training, which for some bizarre reason was being done on live equipment rather than with training software.

“I just want to apologize [to] the public,” Police Chief Susan Ballard said in an interview with Hawaii News Now. “It was just a very [simple] mistake. We need to do better.”

In this instance, it took 12 minutes for state agencies to confirm to the public that it was a false alarm, compared with the 28-minute delay in January.

***NO TSUNAMI THREAT*** We have received phone calls about sirens going off across Oahu, but we have confirmed with the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center that there is NO TSUNAMI THREAT. #hiwx #tsunami

— NWSHonolulu (@NWSHonolulu) September 19, 2019

Webmaster's Commentary:

NOT Funny!! We had one man die from a stress-induced coronary the last time.

Please; the warning systems in the State are put there to save people; not to cause them to die from stress-related problems.

The training here, appears to have been hideously hap-hazard, and obviously uneffective.

How a war between Russia and the US would kill 34MILLION in hours: Horrific simulation shows countries obliterated by carpet of atomic bombs

Researchers have developed a terrifying simulation that shows how an escalating nuclear war between the United States/NATO and Russia would play out.

The model — based on realistic data on nuclear force postures, targets and causality estimates — predicts that 34.1 million people would die within hours.

The catastrophic conflict would leave another 55.9 million injured — figures which do not include subsequent deaths from nuclear fallout and other effects.

In the first three hours alone, Europe would be devastated and an estimated 2.6 million people would be either killed or injured.

The following 90 minutes would see key cities in both the US and Russia hit with 5–10 nuclear bombs each, leaving another 88.7 million dead or injured.

The Ultra-Costly, Underwhelming F-35 Fighter

How are you with numbers? I can deal with $1.5 million. I think I can even imagine $1.5 billion, a sum a thousand times greater. But how about a million times greater: $1.5 trillion? That happens to be the estimated cost of the Pentagon’s program to build, deploy, and maintain the no-longer-so-new F-35 jet fighter over its lifetime. How can any people invest so much in a technology whose fundamental purpose is dominance through destruction — and which reportedly doesn’t even work particularly well?

The Price of “Freedom”? US Drone Massacres Dozens of Afghan Farmers as They Slept

By Matt Agorist

Jalalabad, Afghanistan — Imagine for a moment that you had just finished a long day’s work with two hundred other farmers. You were settling down to relax for the night, when out of nowhere, Hellfire missiles rain down from drones in the sky and blow up dozens of your coworkers, maiming and tearing limbs from dozens more. Imagine if this happened inside the United States. Imagine the reaction from politicians and the US war machine looking to right this wrong.

Trump's new national security adviser is the anti-Bolton in style only

Robert O’Brien might be just as hawkish as John Bolton, but he is "certainly not as pugilistic," according to people close to the president's new adviser.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Just terrific; the style of negotiations with Iran, if the US ever gets there, will be different; but unfortunately, the substance remains the same.

What President Trump needs, is for another major, bloody, attack against Saudi Arabia, with both Saudi Arabian and US military down; and no matter if the Houthis say (which they have already done, BTW: SAUDI OIL ATTACKS: IRAN-BACKED HOUTHIS WARN FOREIGNERS TO AVOID OIL INSTALLATIONS, THREATEN MORE STRIKES AT ANY MOMENT

But the question that begs to be asked, and answered, is why the best and the brightest American weaponry and defensive systems could not have thwarted these alleged "primitive attacks" on Saudi oil infrastructure, with all the money spent on them?!?

If I were a Middle Eastern country, or a country anywhere in the world here US weaponry is sold, these incidents would definitely have me deeply concerned about making such a purchase of US weaponry in the future, considering the absolute, epic fail of these weapons, when Saudi Arabia's military desperately needed them to function.

NETANYAHU CANCELS UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY APPEARANCE OVER ELECTION RESULTS

There will be no speech by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly that opens next week, as Tuesday’s inconclusive election results has forced him to cancel plans to fly to New York, address the world body, and meet US President Donald Trump.

Instead, Netanyahu will be in the thick of coalition negotiations. This will be the first time in nine years that he will not address the parley. Foreign Minister Israel Katz will do so instead.

According to the UN schedule, Netanyahu was listed as the 12th speaker on September 26, the third and final day of speeches by world leaders. He was scheduled to come to the podium to speak just three slots after Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Whatever else is happening, Netanyahu can be counted upon to do everything humanly possible to hang on to whatever power he may be able cling to, through creating coalitions, and presenting himself, as the only viable principal who can make things happen; the rest of the world (including a UN he disregards entirely, and for which he has contempt in the extreme)can go hang!!

Only the Coalition of the Foolish Wants a War With Iran

If you want to identify the most reckless powers in our world today, look no further than Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America.

byVijay PrashadThe reaction from Iran has been calm. The government in Tehran has decided not to cower beneath the storm clouds from Washington. It threatens Canada with its own sanctions if the Canadians do not release seized Iranian assets. An oil tanker that was carrying diesel to the United Arab Emirates has been seized by the Iranians on the grounds of smuggling. Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani told the Syria Summit in Ankara, Turkey, that there can be no stability in Syria as long as U.S. troops remain there. Iran refuses to blink. It has taken the position that it must stand strong and call the U.S. bluff.

This is a dangerous bluff.

But it is also a calculated one.

This Wasn’t How Trump’s War on Iran Was Supposed to Go

The U.S. thought it was cleverly choking the regime, but now it's clear that 'maximum pressure' goes both ways.
The Saturday attack on Saudi oil facilities, which took 5.7 million barrels of oil per day offline, is the escalation that wasn’t supposed to happen. Now that it has happened, we enter perilous new terrain.
In the meantime, Trump is in a tight spot of his own making, with neither escalation nor retrenchment looking to be attractive options. The president may have outsmarted himself this time.
The whole drama, in a nutshell, is just the old-fashioned hubris of the imperial power, issuing its edicts, and genuinely surprised when it encounters resistance, even though such resistance confirms for the wunderkinds their view of the enemy’s malevolence.

Is Trump trapped? That is the question of the hour.

Russia and Iran build powerful alliance countering USA and Saudi Arabia

The situation on the world market of oil is reminiscent of a game of tennis with the participation of four players. The players realize that the winner will dictate rules of the game in world politics.

Chinese-Thai Military Cooperation Expanding

Recent news of Bangkok signing a 6.5 billion Thai Baht deal with China to procure a naval landing ship (a landing platform dock or LPD) further illustrates growing ties between Beijing and Bangkok in the sphere of military matters.

The Thai Royal Navy’s only other ship of similar capabilities is the HTMS Angthong, built by Singapore, Bangkok Post reported.

The deal comes in the wake of several other significant arms acquisitions made by Bangkok in recent years including 39 Chinese-built VT-4 main battle tanks (with another batch of 14 being planned), China’s Type-85 armoured personnel carriers and even the nation’s first modern submarine made by China expected to be in service by 2023.

Will the US Use Greece to Block Russia in the Black Sea?

The port of Alexandroupoli is of particular importance to US policy in not only the Balkans, but especially to Russia. It is also an important energy route as the Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria (IGB) pipeline and the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is in the region. The port is also important for transportation as it is strategically located close to the Turkish-controlled Dardanelles that connects the Aegean/Mediterranean Seas with the Black Sea, and therefore Russia.

With the acquisition of this port, NATO and US forces may be in the Balkans in only a few hours and can easily stop Russian trade with the world via the Black Sea by blockading the Dardanelles. With Turkey increasingly defying NATO – in which Greece is also a member state of – by improving relations with Russia and buying the S-400, the US can make Greece more aligned with it under the guise of ensuring Greece’s security.

Trump orders 'substantial increase' in sanctions on Iran

This lover of Israel is raising on a busted flush.

President Trump announced Wednesday that he had ordered a “substantial increase” in sanctions on Iran.

“I have just instructed the Secretary of the Treasury to substantially increase Sanctions on the country of Iran!” he wrote on Twitter.

The move comes after Saturday’s drone strikes on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, which the country said had disrupted about half of the kingdom's oil capacity, or 5% of the daily global oil supply.

US Defense Secretary Mike Esper said on Monday that the US military is preparing a response to the attack on major Saudi Arabia oil facilities, AFP reported.

Blunders eroded US military edge in Pacific

The United States Studies Center at the University of Sydney recently issued a report: “Averting Crisis: American Strategy, Military Spending and Collective Defense in the Indo-Pacific.” Averting Disaster would be a better title. The crisis is already here.
Much of the press coverage focuses on the PLA’s ability to launch a sudden, devastating missile strike against vulnerable US bases in the region. But the problems go beyond China’s formidable missile force. Rather, Chinese advances are across the military spectrum: surface ships, fighters and bombers, submarines and anti-submarine warfare, cyber and outer space warfare. Beijing is figuring out how to put it all together – and operating far from Chinese territory.
In simple language: The US could have a hard time in a fight – and might not win. A far cry from years of assumed American superiority over the PLA.

Saudi Arabia Says It Has "Material Evidence" Tying Iran To Aramco Attack

Saudi Arabia revealed yesterday that, contrary to its initial estimates, Aramco should be able to restore oil production to 100% capacity by the end of the month. And on Wednesday morning, the kingdom's Defense Ministry said it was planning a press conference to present "material evidence" purportedly linking Tehran to the unprecedented attack on the Kingdom's oil infrastructure.

The country's defense ministry will hold a news conference later in the day laying out new evidence. This follows reports from the US claiming that the roughly 20 missiles and drones used in the attack had been traced back to a 'launch site' in southern Iran.

Tehran has denied involvement in the Sept. 14 attacks, while the Houthi rebels in nearby Yemen have claimed credit. But Washington and Riyadh have adamantly blamed Iran, whom they have blamed for several 'attacks' in the region since the start of the year.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Every time, no matter the administration, I see people from that administration fly off to any destination, as are Mike Pompeo, and other US officials, who remain unnamed, to add "gravitas" to a set of charges apt to bring a third nation a bouquet of lead and depleted uranium , I get very, very nervous.

So, Secretary of State Pompeo, a word, please; with all the wars in which the US Military is enmeshed, those we know about, and those we do not really know about, the people of this country do not want to see our military enmeshed in yet another war with which to placate Israel, which could well go "mammary glands vertical" yet again.

And sir, just in case you are suffering, as do many in the Bowels of Power in DC, from that horrific illness called SMD, "Selective Memory Disorder", I would like to remind you very gently, about a statement a Russian diplomat made toward the end of this June: IRAN WILL NOT BE ALONE, IF THE US ATTACKS

Zamir Kabulov, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Asian countries including Iran, made this statement at a Russian-Iranian policy forum in Moscow.

Secretary of State Pompeo, I would almost wager a bet that this man doesn't even fart without Vlad Putin's permission; so you can bet real money, that what he said was a direct statement from Russia's President Putin.

War with Russia over Iran?!? Sir, I would like to hope (and pray), that this is precisely NOT where this administration is taking us, but it sure as hell looks like it.

Unless President Trump suspends the Constitution and Bill of Rights and declares Martial Law, it will be an election killer, if an election will be held at all in 2020, and will smartly assist the Delirious Dementocrats to recover brilliantly from their "Withering Wednesday" moment, created today, when mega-Demo Contributor, Ed Buck, was arrested by the police.

Create war?!? Lose the 2020 election; find another way to prevent Saudi Arabia from getting hit and hurt with allegedly "primitive" weapons?!? Trump still has the chance to win.

It is, sir, just that simple.,

You are welcome, Mr. Secretary.

Questions, Not Answers Surround U.S. Push to War with Iran

Moscow has had its fill of Netanyahu. He’s openly mocking Trump at international forums, first offering to sell the U.S. Russia’s hypersonic missiles at the G-20 and then offering to sell S-400 missile defense systems to the Saudis to protect their people from outside actors.
All with tongue firmly implanted in cheek, but like with all good comedy a core of undeniable truth.
Things look bad for the alliance between the U.S., Israel and Saudi Arabia, when your opponents are laughing at you openly. In that moment Putin exposed that the emperor truly was standing naked in front of the world.

‘My AR is Ready’

Last week, a political party of violence peddling Bolsheviks held a debate involving candidates who wish to be anointed the next American Emperor. One candidate by the name of Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke (known to Real Texans and Real Mexicans as The Fake Mexican) adamantly announced his intentions to confiscate the firearms of peaceful American subjects.

Not surprisingly, this assertion brought a rousing response from those who would object to such a criminal action. One of those objecting was Texas State Rep. Briscoe Cain. His response was equally inflammatory:

“My AR is ready for you, Robert Francis.”
Yes, his “AR is ready.”

1) It’s “ready” to be used to defend himself, his family and his community from criminal, murderous rampages.

Locked and Loaded on Behalf of Empire First

American democracy and capitalist prosperity are dying on the vine of Empire. And this weekend’s drone attack on the largest oil processing facility on the planet is a graphic case of why. So is the related picture below.

The scene is of Yemenis burying a busload of children who were obliterated by American-made bombs delivered by American-made Saudi aircraft, which were being navigated to target by US command and control assets.

This particular cruel foray was just one of thousands of sorties launched by the Saudis since 2015, which have resulted in upwards of 100,000 civilian deaths in northern Yemen and the virtual destruction of its economy – meaning horrific outbreaks of starvation, cholera and other diseases have become commonplace.

Iran Sends Memo to US Gov't via Swiss Mission to Warn against Any Reaction to Aramco Incident

Iran in its memo rejected involvement in offensives on the Saudi oil installations on Saturday, condemning US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and other American officials' allegations.

The memo also warned that if any attack is launched against Iran, the Islamic Republic's reaction will be rapid and crushing and will likely target more extensive areas than the origin of the attack.

Yemen’s Ansarullah movement announced on Saturday that its drones had successfully attacked two oil plants in the heart of Saudi Arabia’s oil industry, stressing that the attacks were a firm response to Riyadh’s relentless bombardment of Yemen.

How Russian And Iran Beat Their Opponents' Strategies

Over the last decades Russia and Iran both needed to develop means to protect themselves against an ever growing threat from the United States and its allies. Both found unique ways to build deterrence that fit their situation.
Neither the U.S. nor its allies reacted to those developments by adopting their strategies or military means. It is only recently that the U.S. has woken up to the real situation. The loss of half its oil export capacity may finally wake up Saudi Arabia. Most other U.S. allies are still asleep.

When NATO extended into east Europe and the U.S. left the Anti-Ballistic-Missile Treaty Russia announced that it would develop countermeasures to keep the U.S. deterred from attacking it. Ten years later Russia delivered on its promise.
Iran, in contrast, developed its weapons along an asymmetric strategy just as Russia did.

NIMMO: CUI BONO, ISRAEL, AND THE ATTACK ON SAUDI OIL

If we consult a map, we discover Israel is situated to the northwest of Saudi Arabia. Iran is in the east and Iraq to the north. Because cruise missiles and drones have the capability of changing direction, we do not have a good idea where the missiles came from and the party responsible for launching them.

For the US, this is not a problem. It is now habituated to telling lies, releasing misinformation, and disseminating propaganda associated with false flag attacks. Much of what it reports is believed without question by millions of Americans. The state describes this mass credulity and inability to question authority as “patriotism.”

Attacks On Major Saudi Oil Installations Show Urgent Need For Peace With Yemen

The Houthi armed forces spokesman claimed responsibility for today's attack:

This operation is one of the largest operations carried out by our forces in the depth of Saudi Arabia and came after a accurate intelligence operation and advance monitoring and cooperation of honorable and free men within the Kingdom.
The claim of cooperation by people in Saudi Arabia will make the Saudi rulers even more paranoid than they usually are. It may well be that the drones were launched from inside Saudi Arabia and that their launch point was far nearer to the target than is publicly assumed.

Trump says he does not want war after attack on Saudi oil facilities

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday said it looked like Iran was behind attacks on oil plants in Saudi Arabia but stressed he did not want to go to war, as the attacks sent oil prices soaring and raised fears of a new Middle East conflict.

Iran has rejected U.S. charges it was behind the strikes on Saturday that damaged the world’s biggest crude-processing plant and triggered the largest jump in crude prices in decades.

Relations between the United States and Iran have deteriorated since Trump pulled out of the Iran nuclear accord last year and reimposed sanctions over Tehran’s nuclear and ballistic programs.

How were low-tech drones able to pierce Saudi Arabian security? Defence system called into question despite country spending $65bn on arms last year including US radar and Patriot missiles - as mocking Putin says they should have bought Russian.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr.President; a word, please: can you tell both the American people, and the Saudi people, specifically why these US systems, were absolutely impotent, to thwart this attack?!?

This result of this "epic fail" by American weapons makers, is one which is going to have governments scrambling to buy from the Russians, because their s-300 and S-400 systems, actually do what the manual says they will do.

The only possible thing I can think of, as to why these systems didn't work, is that the US technicians who installed them, were ordered to install them so improperly, to insure that they wouldn't work, so that any attack against these facilities would be the springboard for military action against Iran.

Mr. President, in this hideous rush to war against Iran, I would caution utter restrain, and incredible forensic work by both the US military and civilian specialists; a fact-centric, iron-clad case is necessary, because the American people will not tolerate yet another failed military misadventure for control over more oil.

The war in Yemen was a result of US-backed regime change operations aimed at Yemen - along with Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Syria, and Egypt - starting in 2011.

Major hostilities began when the client regime installed by the US was ousted from power in 2015. Since then, the US and its Saudi allies have brutalized and ravaged Yemen triggering one of the worst humanitarian crises of the 21st century.

US SUPPORTED SYRIA "REBELS" FIRE LIVE ROUNDS AT SYRIAN FAMILIES IN RUKBAN CONCENTRATION CAMP - GLOBAL RESEARCH

SOURCE: GLOBAL RESEARCH

Syrian families held captive by Trump Regime Forces and their ISIS affiliates of Maghaweer Thawra terrorists at al-Rukban Concentration Camp went out of their tents in the high heat of the desert to protest for food the day before yesterday, 11th of September, they were faced with live bullets by the US occupation forces.

Russian Coordination Center called on the US occupation forces in Rukban Concentration Camp to exert pressure on US-sponsored Maghaweer Thawra terrorists to stop their terrorist acts against the displaced Syrians held in the camp, these terrorist acts have exacerbated the already dire humanitarian situation of the families there.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump, a word, please: our "allies", the ISIS affiliates of Maghaweer Thawra terrorists at al-Rukban Concentration Camp, are committing war crimes, in our name, with our tax dollars, and on your watch.

So the American people are asking: just what, please, do you intend to do about it?!?

Because, sir, this has to stop, and right the heck now: Mr. President, when, please, did we stop being a nation of laws, and become the nation of loot, pillage, and destroy, and expect no blowback?!?

And please don't get me started US-enabled, Saudi war crimes in Yemen; we will be here all week.

CHINA WARNS TRUMP NOT TO BELIEVE WARHAWK “CONSPIRACY THEORIES” THAT IRAN WAS BEHIND ATTACK ON SAUDI ARABIA

SOURCE: SUMMIT.NEWS
China has warned President Trump that he is being manipulated by warhawks into believing “conspiracy theories” that Tehran was behind the attack on Saudi oil facilities and that any “revenge attack” on Iran could cause the Middle East to “spiral out of control.”

The warning was contained in an editorial posted by the Global Times, which is widely recognized as a Communist Party mouthpiece.

A drone strike against two Saudi oil facilities by Houthi rebels on Saturday took out 5% of the world’s oil supply, but U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo immediately blamed Tehran for the attack.

In the Global Times piece, Beijing asserts that there is no evidence Iran was responsible and that, “US military revenge against Iran will lead the Middle East to spiral out of control.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

SOMEONE at the Global Times in Beijing must be reading WRH!!! :-)

But light banter aside, everyone who cares about this President, and his agenda, must dissuade him from attacking Iran, and particularly right now.

A top Russian official made the statement, at the end of a conference in June, which stated the following:

Iran will not stand alone, if the US attacks. “Iran will withstand this type of fight and Iran is not alone,” Zamir Kabulov, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Asian countries including Iran, said at a Russian-Iranian policy forum in Moscow.

I am betting that this guy doesn't fart without Putin's permission; and if he made such a statement, you can bet your sweet bippy, that he is echoing Putin's stance here.

War with Russia over Iran?!?

I would like to politely suggest to President Trump, that he, and his advisors look very deeply into the possibility that should Iran be attacked, Russia will come to its aid; we have seen just how brilliantly Russia's military hardware and weaponry have performed in Syria.

Please, Mr. President, don't go there.

And what about you, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner?!? How are you going to come down on this issue?!? You two are among the only people President Trump trusts implicitly, to guide him on foreign and domestic policy?

Are you going to attempt to insure that Israel, and Benyamin Netanyahu get the scenario they want (particularly in light of the reality that Israel has national elections today, and Netanyahu is fighting the political fight of his life) by encouraging President Trump to start this war, and perhaps even as early as, perhaps, today?!?

The next 72 hours will tell much, about the direction which you have counseled him to take; and as a Christian Pacifist activist, I am praying that you guide him in the right direction, which means to express restraint; encourage fact-finding here; and figuring out what concrete steps he can take to keep Saudi Arabia safe, without going to war.

US Navy Says It’s Trying to Avoid “Terminator” Scenario as Experts Warn of AI Battlefield Tech

By Elias Marat

It’s long been an image restricted to popular culture: unstoppable robot killers firing their high-powered rifles at clusters of helpless human soldiers with no choice but to flee the battlefield or risk sustaining tremendous losses.

The scenario of military robots and the artificial intelligence (AI) network “Skynet” spinning free from human control forms the basis of The Terminator series starring Arnold Schwarzenegger that has captivated moviegoers around the world. But now, according to a U.S. Navy official, the science fiction nightmare of wars entrusted to machines that “can’t be reasoned with [and] doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear,”—as one character in the original film says—could become a reality...

US defense failure… Why Washington has to blame Iran over Saudi attacks

The devastating blitz on Saudi Arabia’s oil industry has led to a flurry of accusations from US officials blaming Iran. The reason for the finger-pointing is simple: Washington’s spectacular failure to protect its Saudi ally.
The Trump administration needs to scapegoat Iran for the latest military assault on Saudi Arabia because to acknowledge that the Houthi rebels mounted such an audacious assault on the oil kingdom’s heartland would be an admission of American inadequacy.

Formidable Yemeni Houthis Fighters

Things aren’t going well for the US, NATO, Israel, Riyadh, and their jihadist proxies in Yemen.

They’re losing endless war to Ansarullah Houthi rebels, their capabilities much more sophisticated than earlier believed.

Their explosive-laden drones and missiles are able to penetrate Saudi defenses effectively, damaging strategic targets, including kingdom oil fields, its soft underbelly super-wealth producing lifeline.

On Saturday, explosive-laden Houthi drones attacked two Saudi Aramco oil facilities, setting targets struck ablaze — the kingdom’s Abqaiq refinery (the world’s largest) and Khurais oil field.

Both attacks caused huge fires visible from outer space. The facilities are crucial world energy supply chain links.

3 US Targets in Region Attacked If IRGC Downing of Spy Drone Responded – IRGC Commander By wmw_admin on September 16, 2019

As tensions mount over alleged Iranian involvement in the attack on the Saudi oil facility, the statements from the IRGC commander below are meant as a warning to America. In other words General Amir Ali Hajizadeh is saying to Trump, mess with us and you will pay a heavy price.

US Bases surrounding Iran. All within easy reach of Iran’s surface-to-surface missiles. Click to enlarge

Will Trump heed these warnings? Or will he comply with the demands of the Saudis, the Zionists and U.S. hawks and sacrifice more U.S. lives needlessly?
We write that because things are not unfolding quite as Anglo-American-Zionist elite had planned. So instead of an apocalyptic conflict, which would enable them impose martial law across the West and expand their global dominion, a military clash with Iran might entail a series of limited, lesser engagements.

Donald Trump's Neocon Conversion was Predictable

During the election, I wrote a little ebook titled “Donald Trump’s War on Islam.” In addition to pointing out Trump’s pandering to Islamophobia, I wrote about his association with a number of neocons, including Frank Gaffney and John Bolton, who is now his national security adviser. “I think John Bolton’s a good man,” Trump told the Hugh Hewitt Show.

“I watched him yesterday, actually, and he was very good in defending me in some of my views, and very, very strong. And I’ve always liked John Bolton. Well, we are thinking about it, Hugh [nominating Bolton as secretary of state]. I will say that. We are thinking about it. I mean, the negative is what I told you. But we are seriously thinking about it.”

TRUMP IS A NEOCON WARHAWK 'RAPIST'

Trump's foreign policy advisers are Neocon warhawks.

Donald Trump - A NeoCon War Hawk.

Like most conmen politicians, Trump is all things to all men.

Trump tries to appeal to the non Neocons, but, Trump is a Neocon.

The Neocon's current policy is to get their assets to pretend to admit that Iraq was not a wild success.

But, secretly, the Neocons are going to continue to destabilise countries such as Iraq.

Trump's five-member foreign policy team is in bed with the military industrial complex.

FLASHBACK: TRUMP IS A NEOCON

I went to bed at 9:30 last night and woke up to this bullshit. I was disappointed in Trump adding all those Goldman Sachs scumbags as his advisors. I was disappointed he supported Obamacare lite rather than repealing and replacing it. His tax plans look to be dead on arrival. Now, the guy who ran as a non-interventionist, like his two predecessors, has been co-opted by the neo-cons and the military industrial complex. Syria has never posed a threat to the security of the United States. They posed a threat to the Saudi pipeline to Europe. Assad didn’t gas those people. This was a false flag by the “moderate” rebels.

Saudi oil attacks: US says intelligence shows Iran involved

The United States has issued satellite images and cited intelligence to back its allegation Iran was behind attacks on major Saudi oil facilities.

Iran denies involvement in Saturday's air attacks, which were claimed by Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen.

But unnamed US officials speaking to US and international media say the direction and extent of the attacks cast doubt on Houthi involvement.

The incident has cut global oil supplies by 5% and prices have soared.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Where, please, is the hard evidence Americans can actually trust, rather the bits and pieces of cherry picked "intelligence and accusations" against Iran, which are the only things the US government has been able to produce?!?

And please remember; this is precisely the same Federal Government which told you that Iraq's Saddam Hussein "had weapons of mass destruction", and that Syria's Bashar al Assad "was using chemical weapons against his own people".

They lied to pursue various geopolitical/financial objectives; with Iran one of the premier oil producers in the Middle East, how can we trust that they are not lying again?!?

The short answer is, absolutely not.

Nuclear War With Russia "Winnable" Said Trump's Incoming National Security Advisor

Incoming National Security Advisor, Charles Kupperman, made the claim Nuclear War With USSR Was Winnable.

He made those statements in the 1980s. I do not know his views today, but let's review what he said then.

President Donald Trump’s acting national security adviser, former Reagan administration official Charles Kupperman, made an extraordinary and controversial claim in the early 1980s: nuclear conflict with the USSR was winnable and that “nuclear war is a destructive thing but still in large part a physics problem.”

Kupperman, appointed to his new post on Tuesday after Trump fired his John Bolton from the job, argued it was possible to win a nuclear war “in the classical sense,” and that the notion of total destruction stemming from such a superpower conflict was inaccurate. He said that in a scenario in which 20 million people died in the U.S. as opposed to 150 million, the nation could then emerge as the stronger side and prevail in its objectives.

U.S. OFFICIALS BUILDING A CASE AGAINST IRAN AFTER MASSIVE ATTACK ON SAUDI

Jerusalem Post Middle East

Attack on Saudi was large and sophisticated, satellite images show, and involved numerous drones.

Satellite images released by US officials on Sunday showed the extent of damage on Saudi Arabia’s Abqaiq oil processing facility and at Khurais oil field. The images show 17 impact points on key petroleum infrastructure, including four hits on liquefied natural gas storage tanks.

The images reveal extreme precision by the drones or cruise missiles which struck the oil facilities. ABC News reported on Monday that officials have ascertained that a dozen cruise missiles and 20 drones were fired in the attack. This degree of sophistication is beyond the ability of Yemen’s Houthi rebels, notwithstanding their claim of responsibility.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I find it interesting - and more than slightly ironic - that it is the US government "building a case" against Iran, and not the Saudi government.

One has to wonder if both the Saudi Government in Riyadh, and Crown Prince Bin Salman, have been given a deadline before which they must respond to Trump's ultimatum regarding identifying Tehran as the culprit here.

And as the Second Cynic in Chief of this website (my Sweetheart being the First Cynic in Chief),I have to wonder if such a deadline... might well be coordinated to dovetail, with the moment Israeli polls are open, and in which Prime Minister Netanyahu is fighting for his political life.

Yemen's military warns foreigners to leave Saudi oil plants

Yemen's military has warned foreigners in Saudi Arabia to leave Aramco's oil processing plants, saying they are still a target and can be attacked "at any moment."

The warning came after Houthis and their allies in the Yemeni army deployed as many as 10 drones to bomb Abqaiq and Khurais oil facilities run by the Saudi state-owned oil company before dawn Saturday.

Spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, General Yahya Sare'a, said in a tweet Monday that the attacks in the kingdom's eastern region had been carried out by drones with normal and jet engines.

He said Saudi Arabia should stop its "aggression and blockade on Yemen," or see the Yemeni army hit the kingdom "anywhere and anytime" it chooses.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Even though the Butcher of Yemen I(Prince Bin Salman) has made the statement publicly, that the Saudis can handle these attacks on their own MBS tells Trump Saudi 'willing and able' to respond to attacks, this statement by Houthi rebels, telling foreign workers to get out of Saudi Arabia ASAP, most probably means that another attack is imminent.

Should such a scenario happen, the Israeli government will be high fiving themselves, big-time; because now, there is a proxy army to take down Iran, and not a single drop of blood of Israeli blood will be shed.

Should it happen, I would strongly suggest, that the US will be joining forces with Saudi Arabia, and start bombing Iran, with a potential decap strike against Tehran.

I would, however, suggest to the Adult in the Room in the Bowels of Power, in Saudi Arabia; Israel; or the US, that such a move would trigger Russia to enter the fray on Iran's side, and that... would completely change the math of any potential outcome.

Drone Attack on Saudi Oil Field Seen as ‘Pearl Harbor’ Moment

For many of the national security teams that monitor threats on the U.S., the apparent drone strike Saturday on the heart of Saudi Arabia’s oil production facilities was the realization of their worst fears.

Based on early reports, multiple relatively inexpensive drone devices were able to pierce Saudi defenses in a way that a traditional air force could not: flying long distances to drop potent bombs that apparently set vast portions of the Saudi petroleum infrastructure ablaze.

The attack, for which Houthi rebels battling Saudi Arabia in Yemen took credit, underscored the fears raised by U.S. security officials and experts in terrorism about the rapid evolution of technologies allowing expanded unmanned flight.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To the author of this article, I would strongly and politely like to suggest that these actions, if in fact taken by the Houthis, are not Saudi Arabia "Pearl Harbor Moment."

It is, rather, retaliation for the US aided and abetted Saudi war against Yemen, which has assassinated thousands of Yemeni children, women, and the medically fragile elderly; I am not justifying the violence here; I am simply pointing out how this may well have been the real motivation for the attack, if, as has been stated, Houthi rebels actually pulled this off.

And if the US and Saudi intelligence infrastructure were so myopic, that the heads of these agencies, never thought that the Houthis would ever retaliate in this way, they need to be handed their collective hats.

Iran To Release UK-Flagged Tanker As Rick Perry "Wholeheartedly Condemns" Attack On Saudi Arabia

Washington has blamed Iran for this weekend's attack on Saudi Arabia's oil production facilities, which are expected to cut Saudi oil output in half until repairs can be completed. The attack was purportedly carried out by Yemen's Houthi rebels, who have a long history of launching attacks on Saudi soil. But President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have placed blame for the attacks squarely on the Iranians. As we noted over the weekend, the timing of the attack is suspicious, coming as the kingdom renews its push to float 5% of Aramco in what's expected to be the largest-ever IPO. The offering would benefit from higher oil prices. Many have questioned why Saudi Arabia's missile defense capabilities failed to stop the attack.

Iran has denied any responsibility for the attack.

This weekend's attack wiped out 5% of the world's oil supplies.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I simply have to ask; would Iranian leadership do something so incredibly stupid that it could cause an outcry which could actually lead to a shooting war here?!?

The short answer is, they would not; these attacks are being "stage managed", very carefully, to give the "illusion" that the attacks were actual provocations by the Iranian against Saudi Arabia, and that there is no other explanation.

Folks, I hate to break it to you; but this week is shaping up as a lousy one for peace, and honorable, reasonable negotiations, and reduced tensions in both the Middle East and the world.

Iran War Imminent? Trump Says US "Locked And Loaded" To Respond To Saudi Attack

Just as the price of oil was settling down from its record surge, it spiked once again, following a tweet by president Trump which has made war with Iran virtually inevitable.

Just before 7pm, Trump tweeted that "Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!"

Setting aside the implicit admission that US foreign policy in the middle-east is now inexplicably run by Saudi Arabia, what is far more troubling is Trump's statement that the US military is "locked and loaded", and set to attack the country which instigated the attack on Saudi facilities, which according to Mike Pompeo was not Yemen, and its Houthi rebels, but rather Iran.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What concerns me the most greatly, is the rapidity with which this scenario is being shoved down the world's collective gullet, even though Houthi spokespeople have claimed claim responsibility for these strikes.

Various elements in the bowels of power, both in Tel Aviv, and the US, wants to see this happen, and quickly, perhaps as a misdirection for Israeli voters when they go to the polls on the 17th.

It is absolutely not the Iranians who benefit from these charges; it is absolutely not the Saudi monarchy, or people, who benefit from these acts.

But the one country whose leadership does benefit, and that... is Israel's current leadership.

With its national elections coming up tomorrow, and Benjamin Netanyahu struggling to insure that the Israeli public will vote him in again, and that is Benjamin Netanyahu, showing how "butch" he is, by demanding that the US go to war with Iran, and immediately.

Would the IDF and Mossad conjure a "false flag" attack against Saudi Arabia's largest petroleum refining plants, ahead of their election, to make Netanyahu "look more appealing" to his voters, because he got the US to rain literal fire and brimstone on Iran?!?

Unfortunately, the short answer is, HELL, yes.

I highly suspect that the Butcher of Yemen is feeling at least some heat, as Trump challenges him to make a statement that Saudi Arabia were attacked by Iran, and quickly, even though he may, through his intelligence resources, well know better.

Massacre At Wounded Knee, 1890

On the morning of December 29, 1890, the Sioux chief Big Foot and some 350 of his followers camped on the banks of Wounded Knee creek. Surrounding their camp was a force of U.S. troops charged with the responsibility of arresting Big Foot and disarming his warriors. The scene was tense. Trouble had been brewing for months.

Tell him he need have no fear in giving up his arms, as I wish to treat him kindly.' Big Foot replied, 'They have no guns, except such as you have found.' Forsyth declared, 'You are lying to me in return for my kindness.'

When the smoke cleared and the shooting stopped, approximately 300 Sioux were dead, Big Foot among them.

Washington and the Whiskey Rebellion Summary

Washington had a personal interest in this. His slave produced hooch couldn't compete against the corn liqour made up in the Mountains. The battle still goes on today.

It was the late 18th century and the national government was cash-strapped. In order to raise money, Congress passed a 25% excise (sales) tax on liquor. Anger about the tax was widespread along the frontier from Pennsylvania to Georgia. Many Americans along the frontier resented the tax from a distant legislature. There were outbreaks of opposition. In rural areas where no one was willing to serve as tax collector, the taxes went unpaid.

Shortly after Woodrow Wilson took office there began in Colorado one of the most bitter and violent struggles between workers and corporate capital in the history of the country.

This was the Colorado coal strike that began in September 1913 and culminated in the “Ludlow Massacre” of April 1914. Eleven thousand miners in southern Colorado … worked for the Colorado Fuel & Iron Corporation, which was owned by the Rockefeller family. Aroused by the murder of one of their organizers, they went on strike against low pay, dangerous conditions, and feudal domination of their lives in towns completely controlled by the mining companies. …

ICE Accidentally Reveals Fascist “Hyper-Realistic” Urban Warfare Training Facility At Army Base

The US Military is being trained to attack the American People

By Aaron Kesel
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency accidentally revealed the location of a new “urban warfare” training facility that is expected to include “hyper-realistic” simulations of homes, hotels and commercial buildings in Chicago and Arizona, Newsweek reported.
The “hyper-realistic” urban training ground will be housed in Fort Benning, Georgia the report details. The information was revealed after ICE failed to redact its acquisition form document that was posted online. After copying and pasting the document’s contents into a separate document, Newsweek said it was able to establish that the facility will be built at the U.S. Army post.

Attack on Saudi oil field a game-changer in Gulf confrontation Analysis by Tim Lister, CNN Updated 9:29 AM ET, Sun September 15, 2019 Reporter: 'Startlingly dangerous moment' in Middle East condor diverted flight map Spilled coffee diverted transatlanti

It is a game changer all right. A couple more strikes like this and it will be the end of the House of Saud!

(CNN)The attack on the world's largest oil processing plant early Saturday morning is a dramatic escalation in the confrontation between Iran and Saudi Arabia -- even if the Iranians didn't fire the drones or missiles responsible.

Several projectiles struck the Abiqaiq plant, starting a series of fires that quickly took out nearly half Saudi's oil production -- 5% of the global daily output -- and sparking fears about the security of the world's oil supplies.
It's unclear when Abiqaiq, which is operated by Saudi giant Aramco, will be fully operational again.

US, Israel negotiating mutual defense treaty: Trump

This is very dangerous. This is how WW1 and WW2 got started.

US President Donald Trump has confirmed on Twitter that he has spoken to his Israeli counterpart Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the prospects of signing a mutual defence treaty.

Saying such a pact would “further anchor the tremendous alliance between our two countries,” Trump said he looked “forward to continuing those discussions after the Israeli Elections,” during a meeting at the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly.

mran Khan Doesn't Rule Out Pakistan's Possible War With India Going Nuclear

When asked if Pakistan would hit India with nuclear weapons in case of a large-scale conflict, Khan first ruled out his country initiating the attack.

“Pakistan would never start a war, and I am clear: I am a pacifist. I am anti-war,” he said.

However, Khan added that when two nuclear-armed states “fight a conventional war, there is every possibility that it is going to end up in a nuclear war.”

“If say Pakistan, God forbid, we are fighting a conventional war, we are losing, and if a country is stuck between the choice: either you surrender or you fight ‘til death for your freedom – I know Pakistanis will fight to death for their freedom,” said Pakistan’s PM.

Khan has repeatedly warned in recent weeks that foreign powers, along with the UN, need to intervene in the standoff between India and Pakistan over disputed Kashmir.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I hope that no unhinged Pakistani group, or movement, is about to "take care of direct military action" against india, in behalf of Pakistan; I very much respect Khan's performance so far as Pakistan's President, but right now, he needs to reach out to the most disaffected, and despairing of his own people, and those in Kashmir, by preaching hope, moderation, and ultimately, a political solution here.

Breaking: US is Ready to Tap Strategic Petroleum Reserve Amid Attacks on Saudi Oil Facilities

Two key oil processing plants in Saudi Arabia were attacked by drones on Saturday causing the interruption of about half of the company's total daily oil output. The attacks were claimed by the Houthi movement of Yemen.

The United States is ready to tap into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve if necessary in order to rebalance the global energy supply in the wake of the drone attacks on major Saudi oil facilities, White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said in an interview with "Fox News Sunday."

Conway hinted at the possibility of a meeting between President Donald Trump and the Iranian leadership on the margins of the UN General Assembly in New York. But she added that the chances of such a meeting happening are now in doubt due to the drone attacks.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The ever fact-free, unhinged, surveilled State of America is probably happy that these attacks happened, because it gives President Trump the justification for not meeting the Iranian leadership at the UN general assembly.

Ready For War': IRGC General Says US Bases, Carriers Close to Iran Are Within Range of Its Missiles

The statement comes as US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Saturday blamed Iran for recent drone attacks on Saudi Aramco's oil fields, urging the international community "to publicly and unequivocally condemn Iran’s attacks".

Tehran has always been prepared for a full-fledged war, Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps Aerospace Force Chief Amirali Hajizadeh said in a statement on Sunday, just a day after two drone attacks on oilfields in Saudi Arabia, which were claimed by Houthis and blamed by the US and Saudi Arabia on Tehran.

“Everybody should know that all American bases and their aircraft carriers, at a distance of up to 2,000 kilometres around Iran, are within the range of our missiles,” Hajizadeh said.

According to Hajizadeh, the Iranian military are ready to target two US bases and one carrier in the event of an armed conflict.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh); Admiral Hajizadeh, we understand this.

But what I don't get is, if in fact these are the preparations being made ready for a fight against the US military, why are you broadcasting them to the entire world?!? It would seem to me that, rather than being a declaration for your coming actions, this information is deliberate disinformation, to prevent the US (and possibly Israel) from knowing what your true intentions are here.

I have to tell you, Admiral Hajizadeh, there are many in this country who detest the US's proclivity toward war, rather than making the choice for hard-one negotiations to bring peace; of course, we are no more in control of the institutions of power in our government... than are the Iranian people with theirs.

Nuclear War With Russia "Winnable" Said Trump's Incoming National Security Advisor

Authored by Mike Shedlock via MishTalk,

Questioning “mutual assured destruction,” Charles Kupperman called nuclear conflict “in large part a physics problem.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, but is being barking-dog mad, science-challenged, and pig-headedly wrong, now three prerequisites for attaining the US's office of National Security Advisor?

And if one will note, his school background Bio: Charles Kupperman shows absolutely no studies in nuclear physics, or nuclear energy. He has been, in previous administrations, in various positions where he should have had the scientific knowledge necessary to really handle the positions to which he was assigned, which included the following: 'Kupperman was a foreign policy adviser to Ronald Reagan's presidential campaign.[7] After Reagan was elected, Kupperman joined the Reagan administration. He was Executive Assistant to the Acting Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and then the Executive Director of the General Advisory Committee on Arms Control[8] of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency, before becoming the Executive Assistant to the Director of the Office of Personnel Management.[6] In July 1986 he became Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of the Office of Administration.[4]

Kupperman worked at two defense contractors, Lockheed Martin and Boeing; he was the vice president for business development for missile defense systems for Boeing and the vice president of Washington Space Operations for Lockheed Martin Corporation.'

And I have to ask, as a person very concerned about the trajectory of US foreign policy, why is it that, when someone leaves the administration in a huff, they tend to get replaced by an individual who is even more to the right of Attila the Hun regarding Russia,China, and Iran than was their predecessor?!?

So Mr. President, I would like to politely suggest that the US needs a Director for a US Department of Science, to advise your Advisors, particularly Kupperman.

I do not know what the brilliant American scientist Michio Kaku is doing right now; Bio: Michio Kaku
but this guy is absolutely solid on the science of nuclear war, and would be a great person to have in your cabinet.

And another person with whom you want Kupperman to consult, is the highly respected physician, Dr. Helen Caldicott. Bio: Dr. Helen Caldicott

Mr. President, please: these are two people who will not tell you "Yes, Mr. President", if both their logic and scientific grounding, tells them that a particular move by this country, would put it on dangerous ground.

And Mr. President, if there was ever a time during your first Administration when you desperately needed people like Kaku and Caldicott, who are invested in telling you the truth, the time for such people to be included, and listened to, is right the hell now, President Trump.

You are welcome!

IN HIS FINAL DAYS, A VIETNAM VET AT A VA FACILITY WAS TWICE FOUND COVERED IN ANTS, DAUGHTER SAYS

SOURCE: CNN.COM
(CNN)An Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam and was living his final days at a US Department of Veterans Affairs assisted-living facility was twice found covered in ants and photos show scores of bites on his body, his daughter said Thursday.

Laquana Ross said her father, Joel Marrable, died Saturday at the Eagles' Nest Community Living Center in the Atlanta VA Medical Center.
Ross said she is not upset with the VA over the ants, but wants her father's story to prompt change.

"Maybe this can move the needle and improve the process," she said. "The VA is busy. They have a lot of patients and huge needs they have to address."

Webmaster's Commentary:

As much as I abhor war, as a methodology for the US getting what it wants from other countries, not one more of our Veterans should ever have to put up with this lack of basic medical care, ever!!!

A society can definitely be judged by how well it treats its most fragile members, and that includes many of our medically fragile elderly Vets; and right now, this country is failing these people in an extreme and horrific way, as evidenced by this case.

NO human being is ever expendable, and all, particularly when they near their journey's end, should be treated with grace, common sense medical care, and compassion.

Our Vets are NOT "disposable", thank you very much!!!!

US ENERGY HEAD TO DISCUSS NUCLEAR POWER WITH SAUDIS ON MONDAYPublished: September 13, 2019Share | Print This

SOURCE: ALJAZEERA.COM
US Energy Secretary Rick Perry said on Friday he will meet the new Saudi energy minister on Monday and likely discuss plans Saudi Arabia has to build nuclear reactors.

Perry did not say where he would meet Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, who took over from Khalid al-Falih on Sunday. But a US official said the meeting would likely take place on the sidelines of an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) meeting in Vienna next week.

The kingdom has so far resisted agreeing to standards that would block its ability to enrich uranium and reprocessing of plutonium, possible pathways to making an atomic weapon. On Monday, Prince Abdulaziz said the kingdom wanted to enrich uranium for its nuclear power programme, potentially complicating talks with the Trump administration on the atomic pact and the role of US companies.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Secretary Perry, a word, please; you cannot deny to the world that Saudi Arabia wants nuclear energy for nuclear bombs, particularly vis a vis Iran.

You have to make whatever agreement the Saudis want stick, because if you do not, Saudi Arabia will get whatever it needs from nuclear-armed Pakistan, no questions asked.

Ah yes, this is JUST what the Middle East needs right now; yet another despotic theocracy with nuclear weapons!!

Top 10 American War Crimes

Most Americans like to think their military is a tool for preserving the freedom and well-being of people throughout the world. Generations of American soldiers have indeed performed noble and heroic feats in defense of these values. However, since the earliest days of the nation, encounters with the US military have often meant death and destruction, as opposed to freedom and justice. From the American Revolution to the War on Terror, soldiers from every generation have taken part in atrocities of one form or another. If there is any hope for preventing American war crimes in the future, the past transgressions of the US military must be acknowledged and, when possible, the perpetrators brought to justice.
