ESCOBAR: HOW YEMEN'S HOUTHIS ARE BRINGING DOWN A GOLIATH

SOURCE: PEPE ESCOBAR VIA THE SAKER

“It is clear to us that Iran bears responsibility for this attack. There is no other plausible explanation. We support ongoing investigations to establish further details.”

The statement above was not written by Franz Kafka. In fact, it was written by a Kafka derivative: Brussels-based European bureaucracy. The Merkel-Macron-Johnson trio, representing Germany, France and the UK, seems to know what no “ongoing investigation” has unearthed: that Tehran was definitively responsible for the twin aerial strikes on Saudi oil installations.

“There is no other plausible explanation” translates as the occultation of Yemen. Yemen only features as the pounding ground of a vicious Saudi war, de facto supported by Washington and London and conducted with US and UK weapons, which has generated a horrendous humanitarian crisis.

So Iran is the culprit, no evidence provided, end of story, even if the “investigation continues.”

The collapse will be LOCAL: Former military intelligence, special forces veterans explain why your proximity to left-wing cities may determine your fate

(Natural News) With all the talk about the risk for civil war in America — and the new Nancy Pelosi push for impeachment that will drive America into more conflict — it’s crucial to realize how your proximity to left-wing population density hubs will largely determine your fate.

Here’s what I learned, in the aggregate, from multiple sources, many of whom have operated inside collapsing, war-torn cities and countries:

There won’t be a nationwide kinetic civil war fought like America’s first Civil War. Instead, outbreaks of kinetic violence will be very limited to the areas in and around high-density population centers dominated by Leftists (i.e. Antifa and similar left-wing lunatics).
This means your proximity to left-wing cities largely determines your risk of being caught up in any kind of kinetic engagement. The closer you are to the “zombies,” the worse off you’ll be when it hits the fan.

9/11 HIJACKERS: SAUDI 'DON'T ASK, DON'T SEE' POLICY REVEALED

ith the US renewing its controversial “alliance” with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with oil production in the Kingdom under siege, and talk of war against Iran ramping up, the thorny issue of the Saudi role in the 9/11 terrorist attacks remains uncomfortably in the background.

For 18 years now, investigative journalists have faced daunting obstacles in seeking answers about the 9/11 attacks. Of the 19 hijackers, 15 were Saudi citizens. Perhaps the greatest hurdle comes when asking about connections between the hijackers and high-ranking Saudi Arabian officials.

Redactions, delays, denials, misdirection, and conflicting statements show a pattern — all of it in one direction and, intentionally or not, to the benefit of the Kingdom.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is also interesting to note, that Prince Bandar bin Sultan. died in July of this year; of course, there were the requisite condolences from various heads of state, etc., but there is very little said, about how the man actually died.

I would tend to politely suggest, that his death was not a "family affair" where close family were quietly ushered into a clean, caring hospice environment, with all the modern "bells and whistles" existed, to usher him into the next "kingdom" with prayer. The net is rife with speculation on this, but there are is a reasonable possibility which may, in retrospect, make sense, looking at how he had positioned himself both personally, and professionally, both within the government of the House of Saud, and as one very familiar with those who ascended the very top Tier in the Bowels of Power in the US: The Bush Dynasty.

Some say that he was assassinated by the Syrians, for having attempted a regime change in Damascus. Syria eliminates Bandar bin Sultan in retaliation for Damascus bombing

The following link is also useful:

Saudi Aravbia Intelligence Headquarters and Saudi Deputy Intelligence Killed as Payback.

However it happened, the death last July renders him "conveniently incapable" of testifying or adding anything more to the class action suit, brought against him by families of 9/11 victims.

The Illusion of Control, by Robert Gore

The illusion of control that has sustained the US’s nominal government and its behind-the scenes power since World War II is fading both at home and abroad. In many areas the US military is no longer unquestionably superior and in some is demonstrably inferior. As military prowess goes so goes the American empire. Amplifying the decline and compounding its severity are the US’s perilous finances, deteriorating economy, and mounting political unrest.

If the US can’t defeat insurgents in smaller countries despite its overwhelming advantages in conventional military power, what would happen in a match with someone its own size, another superpower? Here the illusion of control is most deadly.......

At UN Session, US Empire in Decline and Global Solidarity on the Rise

The US Military is a Great Threat to our Future

It also leaves behind toxic pollution from burn pits and weapons such as depleted uranium (DU). The use of DU violates international law, including the Biological Weapons Convention. As described in David Swanson’s article about a new study, which documents the horrific impact of DU on newborns in Iraq,

“…every round of DU ammunition leaves a residue of DU dust on everything it hits, contaminating the surrounding area with toxic waste that has a half-life of 4.5 billion years, the age of our solar system, and turns every battlefield and firing range into a toxic waste site that poisons everyone in such areas.”

The Coup Has Begun – The Empire Strikes Back Everywhere

“I am altering the deal, pray I don’t alter it any further.”
Darth Vader, “The Empire Strikes Back”

You know I think there are no coincidences in politics. Everything happens on a particular schedule. So when I see a day as crazy as today I have to ask the question, “Why this, why now?”
Look at the headlines and you’ll see what I’m talking about. All of these things happened since I woke up at 7:30am on Tuesday in Florida:

Democratic referenda are ignored. Bitcoin mysteriously has its network attacked. Unpopular parliaments ignore the people and remain in power. Centuries of tradition and convention thrown out the window to serve the next big thing.

It’s a coup folks.

Saudi Arabia Agrees to Limited Cease-Fire in Yemen War

(Bloomberg) -- Saudi Arabia has agreed to a limited cease-fire in several areas of Yemen including the capital Sana’a, which is controlled by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels, as part of broader efforts to end a four-year conflict that has threatened to escalate into regional war.

Last week, the Houthis announced a unilateral halt to the hundreds of drone and missile attacks that have targeted OPEC’s largest producer in recent years.

The Military Officials Who Knew Saudi Arabia Would Fail

While it’s seems axiomatic that most Americans suffer from historical amnesia, that’s not necessarily true for the U.S. military. And as America and Iran were sprinting towards a military confrontation last week, a recently retired senior U.S. military officer expounded on what he called “the bumbling, incompetent and feckless stupidity of it all.”

The target of the officer’s ire was not Donald Trump (whom he admires) or Mike Pompeo (who he doesn’t), but Saudi Arabia’s March 2015 decision to go to war against the Iranian-allied Houthi tribal movement in Yemen —“which is,” he argues, “how all of this nonsense got started in the first place.”

He explained: “We didn’t see the [Saudi] invasion [of Yemen] coming and we were shocked when it happened. But we were pretty blunt. We told them, ‘you can’t win and you’ll bankrupt your country. It’ll be a quagmire.’ And we were right.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

And so, the US- backed, Saudi war on Yemen was actually called by many of our distinguished Military Vets as a truly losing proposition" but they were utterly neither respected for their views, and not listened to.

Talk about "a catastrophic failure of imagination" regarding Yemen, which lives on in the Trump administration until this very day.

US Kills 11 in South Libya Strike as UN Warns of EscalationUS says target was 'suspected militants'

US Africa Command issued a statement on Wednesday reporting that airstrikes against the southern Libyan town of Murzuq killed at least 11 people. The US statement declared everyone slain a “suspected militant.”

The US statement said they intended to kill ISIS members, and they believe they did so. This is the second strike against Murzuq in the past week by the US, with everyone slain as yet an unnamed “suspect.”

The UN expressed concern about the strikes, warning that “the conflict risks escalating to a full-blown civil war,” and faulting “external actors” for their involvement in the clashes.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This... is about to get very nasty, very quickly.

Pentagon Chief Claims He Will Reduce Rising Civilian Casualties

The Pentagon reports that Defense Secretary Mark Esper is in the process of spearheading a “major new policy” focused on cutting the number of civilians the US military and US-armed allies are killing.

There are said to be concerns about the growing number of civilians killed in US drone strikes and airstrikes, as well as the number of civilians killed by other countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, with ever-growing supplies of US arms.

That said, the Pentagon is only saying changes would come “where possible,” and that a lot of the effort might end up with the Pentagon trying to “be transparent when civilian casualties do occur.”

Ultimately this suggests that there aren’t big changes coming as initially branded. Any changes would be done only where convenient, and honestly after decades of war any efforts to reduce civilian deaths have been unsuccessful, or short-lived. The priority “where possible” is almost always.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Were I a betting person, I would not bet that this will ever happen, in spite of what may possibly be this gentlemen's bets intentions.

You can't always, dominate the narrative, as was impossible during a recent Saudi strike against Yemen.

Oh, and BTW, here is a companion piece on another bombing, from commondreams.org, on another massacre, from June of this year:

A Saudi Arabia-led coalition attack on Yemen Tuesday killed 16 people, including seven children, the latest massacre in the years long conflict.

"These children should not be victims of this conflict," Save the Children in Yemen country director Tamer Kirolos told Middle East Eye. "Yet, they have paid the highest price imaginable. We're calling for an independent investigation into the attack and for perpetrators to be held to account."

(@MohammedHojily) September 24, 2019

The attack was took place in Dhalea province, an area controlled by Houthi rebels, China's Xinhua News Agency reported.

The Saudi-led war on Yemen—backed by the U.S. government—has raged for over four years.

According to Al Jazeera, the Houthis had hoped for a mutual drawdown in hostilities.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Hey, here's a shoutout to one of President Trump's BFFs in the Middle East, the Butcher of Yemen, AKA Prince Mohammed Bin Salman !!

GREAT job in Yemen, yesterday; wow, 7 kids killed; how many pregnant Yemeni women did your soldiers kill, BTW?!? We know you just LOVE numbers like that!

You know what the IDF says (now, covertly,) about that, regarding pregnant Palestinian women right?!? "One Shot, Two Kills!!"

Images: another savage massacre in Yemen, courtesy of US aided and abetted, by the US military

Please look at these images, even though I understand you may want to turn away from them. This is being done with your tax dollars, but more distressingly, in your names.

Look at this family, grieving inconsolably, trying to protect what is left of the children's corpses, in one video, and how gently they are putting the stones over the bodies, in an unmarked grave.

This, folks, is what this massacre will most probably achieve, with the complete signoff by both the Saudi Government, and the US government; after the Houthi attacks against two Saudi oil refineries on the 14th, the Houthis said that no more attacks of this kind will follow. but only if the Saudis stop their attacks in Yemen.

Well the Butcher of Yemen, has just responded, through this massacre, that Saudi Arabia will bomb, and continue to bomb civilians in Yemen, no matter what.

The chess pieces are starting to fall in place, if one is paying minimal attention.

Saudi Arabia has chosen not to step down on their assaults on Yemen, because of the bombing of those Saudi refinery units.

So look for another bombing of Saudi infrastructure, but this time, with massive civilian casualties, most probably carried out by the Sufis, but to be blamed on Iran.

Look for American defense infrastructure to perform moderately less badly than it did the last time, when it was a 100% failure (how, please, can that be an "accident"?).

Such a bombing would create the "red meat/bloody shirt "justification" for a massive bombing of Iran, courtesy of Saudi Arabia; Israel; and the US,even if it was not Iran which did the bombing, and they know it.

Syrian Army Prepares for Escalation in Golan Heights

On September 21, an EW unit of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) intercepted and took control of a large quadcopter-style unmanned aerial vehicle over the town of Erneh, near the contact line between the SAA and the Israeli-occupied part of the Golan Heights.

According to local sources, the UAV was likely operated by Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) used similar UAVs in its attack on a Hezbollah media center in Lebanon’s Beirut on August 25. In own turn, Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee, a spokesman for the Israeli military, claimed that the UAV was not belonging to the IDF. Lt. Col. Adraee said that the UAV may have been “Iranian”.

Following the incident, the SAA has reinforced its positions near the Golan Heights.

The situation is escalating in the southern part of the Idlib de-escalation zone, where militants have resumed their attacks on government positions.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So we have come to the point, where Israel and Syria duking it out militarily, over the Golan; this could get nasty in a heartbeat.

And please do not forget; Russia has aided Syria, militarily, when it was fighting the US-trained, equipped, and jihadist groups were allowed to function.

Humanitarian Crisis in Kashmir: India’s “Economic Opening” Has “Closed Off Kashmir”

Those many countries, including some leading Great Powers, value their trade ties with India over the human rights of the Kashmiris and respect for the same UN Charter that they all officially agreed to uphold.

The following is the speech that Andrew Korybko gave at the “Humanitarian Crisis In Kashmir: Paths To A Resolution” conference that was held in Moscow on 23 September.

We’re here today to draw attention to what’s been happening in Indian-Occupied Kashmir for the past month and a half, and from the little that we know, it’s extremely alarming. The 8 million people of the valley have been living in lockdown since early August, with a military-imposed curfew upheld by nearly one million Indian troops who have arbitrarily arrested thousands since then.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A genocide of Muslims in Kashmir, will most probably cause many Muslim countries and individuals to lend military and/or financial aid.

The status of Kashmir, has created a deep, and unhealing gash in the body politic in Kashmir; that the Indian government believes that such a state of things, can go on, unheeded and unhealed, unfortunately, is a really horrific mistake, which can, ultimately, wind up coming back to punish India for its tin ears, in a very awful way.

Saudis Threaten Iran on Behalf of the USFM says US patience 'not inexhaustible'

While President Trump has said that the US is not interested in a war with Iran, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Adel al-Jubeir, took to a UN meeting to suggest that US military options are still being considered.

While it seems a bit presumptive for the Saudi FM to decide to speak to US policy, his comments that US patience is “not inexhaustible” seems to be directed both at threatening Iran, and at trying to get the rest of the world on board with the conflict.

Al-Jubeir says that the UN report on the attack will be available soon, and that there is a whole list of options, including military options, still being considered, with him wanting to mobilize international support for what is to come.

GOVERNMENT MOVES TO BLOCK ALLEGED DRONE WHISTLEBLOWER’S DEFENSE IN ESPIONAGE ACT CASE

Yet, while the U.S. government hopes to ensure Hale cannot put on a whistleblower defense during his trial, Hale’s defense attorneys have directly challenged the constitutionality of the Espionage Act, arguing [PDF] it violates the First Amendment. They also assert that the government is selectively and vindictively prosecuting Hale for his alleged act of dissent.

Hale was indicted on five counts on May 9. Three of the charges allege he violated the Espionage Act. One charge alleges he disclosed “communications intelligence” without authorization. The fifth charge alleges he stole “government property.”

In October 2015, The Intercept published a “cache of secret documents detailing the inner workings of the U.S. military’s assassination program in Afghanistan, Yemen, and Somalia.” The media organization said the documents were provided by a whistleblower and offered “unprecedented glimpse into [President Barack] Obama’s drone wars.” They were called “The Drone Papers.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I sincerely hope, that attorneys for Hale, are allowed to go forward with their defense.

Otherwise, this nation has collapsed into a black hole of dictatorship, from which it can never re-emerge.

HOLES IN US BURNING SAUDI OIL FIELDS NARRATIVE COULD SPARK WAR WITH IRAN

Published: September 24, 2019
Share | Print This

SOURCE: MINT PRESS
Tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran are escalating to new heights, drawing the United States into a confrontation with the Islamic Republic after a sophisticated attack targeted Saudi Arabia’s Aramco oil facility — the largest oil processing facility in the world — knocking out half of the country’s oil capacity, or more than 5 million barrels a day, and leaving the oil fields in flames.

The attack was nothing the Kingdom had seen before or expected: According to U.S. and Saudi intel, 18 drones and seven cruise missiles were launched and went undetected by both American and Saudi radar systems. The weaponry even went unnoticed by the U.S. military base nearby, the Prince Sultan Airbase, which is guarded by an American Patriot missile defense system and over 500 U.S. military personnel.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I, personally, would like to go back to Russia's suggestion at the UN, that time be taken for a full, clear, and that an impartial group of forensic scientists, with no axe to grind, collectively, be brought together immediately, to determine cause and the perpetrator.

Because what the US and Saudi government are trying to do, at least from my perspective, is run with the accusation that Iran did this, attempt to control the narrative, and declare Iran the bad guy.

In this instance, taking time to analyze what has happened, with credible forensics, is absolutely the more wise course of action, whereas clumsy haste, could definitely engender World War III.

PAKISTAN THREATENED INDIA WITH NUCLEAR WAR AND NO ONE NOTICED

SOURCE: THEMINDUNLEASHED.COM
(TMU Op-Ed) — In a recent interview with Al-Jazeera, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan made some controversial statements regarding the use of nuclear weapons against India.

First, Khan started off by saying he was anti-war—a “pacifist.” He then developed his stance, stating that “when two nuclear-armed countries fight, if they fight a conventional war, there is every possibility that it is going to end up into nuclear war.” However, this scenario, as Khan described, is “the unthinkable.”

Khan went on to say:

“If say Pakistan, God forbid, we are fighting a conventional war, we are losing, and if a country is stuck between the choice; either you surrender or you fight ‘til death for your freedom, I know Pakistanis will fight to death for their freedom.

So when a nuclear-armed country fights to the end, to the death, it has consequences.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

We here at WRH did take this very seriously, and do, thank you very much; Pakistan's Prime Minister Khan, iks a very serious guy, and I would like to hope that, with all the hoopla with which Modi was received in Texas, concerning an energy deal, that President Trump (gently) pulls him into a side room, and says, "Prime Minister Modi, I don't know quite what you have been thinking, but to completely reorder your government and Constitution, to cancel out all autonomy for Kashmir, was one big, fat, hairy no-no!!"

But what is even worse, is the reality that China provides Pakistan with a great deal of its weaponry and training; the US has agreements in place with India; getting pulled into a world war, due to treaties, was how the world wound up with World War 1.

All Options Including Military on Table After Probe Into Aramco Attack Completed - Saudi FM

The drone attacks on two major Saudi Aramco plants at Abqaiq and Khurais were carried out on September 14. As a result of significant damage done to the facilities, the production of about 5.7 million barrels of crude oil per day, or about half of Saudi Arabia’s total daily output, was temporarily suspended.

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir has announced that Riyadh is considering all options, including military, after the probe into the attacks on Aramco oil facilities is completed.

"We want to mobilise international support, and we want to look at all options - diplomatic options, economic options and military options - and then make the decision," he said, speaking in New York on Tuesday at a conference on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation of what Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said, in Diplospeak:

"We did not have the amount of support necessary for an immediate military action against Iran; the US overnights were utter crap, so this whole sordid thing is going to have to be pushed to the next level, including attacks not only against Saudi facilities, but also against innocent civilians; we need a bloody shirt to to wave, as our "Pearl Harbor", to get people excited about getting into yet another mindless war, which could go global, and see civilization simply end on that note.

US Embassy Declines to Comment on Denial of Visas to Russian UN Delegates

The Russian Foreign Ministry summoned on Tuesday the US envoy to Moscow after it turned out that the US had failed to provide several members of the Russian delegation to the United Nations General Assembly with visas timely.

The US Embassy in Russia has declined to comment on US visa denial to members of the Russian delegation for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), qualifying it as an isolated case.

"According to our rules, we do not comment on isolated cases of submitting applications for US visas," the embassy said in a statement.

The Russian Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, has said that several members of the Russian delegation for the UNGA have been refused US visas. She has also refuted Washington's claims that the Russian nationals have failed to timely submit necessary documents.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump wants to insure that no narrative on Iran can possibly be heard, except his own, by keeping these Russian delegates out of the UN.

Saudi Airstrike Hits North Yemen Mosque, Killing Five Civilians

Saudi warplanes attacked a mosque in northern Yemen’s Amran Province early Monday, according to local media, killing at least five civilians. All the slain were members of the same family.

It’s not entirely clear why the mosque was attacked, though the Saudis have been bombing northern Yemen with increased frequency over the past several days, and most of the strikes don’t seem to be hitting anything military-related.

If anything, Friday’s proposal for a truce by Yemen’s Houthi movement seems to be driving the Saudis to carry out even more aggressive and frequent attacks, so as to remove any doubt that they are not on board with it.

And while the airstrikes in north Yemen are causing civilian casualties, the real problem is likely yet to come, as the Saudis have begun a new offensive against the port city of Hodeidah.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Just... swell, Saudi Arabia; you have let the Houthis know that you will not take advantage of the proposed cease-fire.

Of course, what this means, is the following: at some point, the Houthis will strike deep into Saudi territory, perhaps over another large petroleum refining center, and let their drones do the talking.

And this time, there may well be be injuries, and massive casualties (the Saudi military, enabled by US troops, routinely bombs hospitals; mosques, and schools.)

More impotent US missiles will be quickly installed in Saudi Arabia, but will most probably do more not much more to defend either the Saudis, or US troops stationed there, than did the last round of missiles.

And then what?!? It will most probably destroy any chance for Saudi Arabia's ARAMCO's IPO, upon which the Crown Prince Bin Salmin, has desperately built his plans for a new, modern economy, to move forward.

And without this IPO being successful upon launch, the economy, and future leadership of the country, may well be "up for grabs."

And please remember; last June, a senior Russian official made the following statement: Iran won't be alone, if the US attacks.

Alarming VA Report Totals Decade of Veteran Suicides

23 Sep 2019
Military.com | By Richard Sisk
The Department of Veterans Affairs released an alarming report Friday showing that at least 60,000 veterans died by suicide between 2008 and 2017, with little sign that the crisis is abating despite suicide prevention being the VA's top priority.

Although the total population of veterans declined by 18% during that span of years, more than 6,000 veterans died by suicide annually, according to the VA's 2019 National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report.

The report did not take into account the possible effects of VA's programs aimed at outreach and removing the stigma of seeking help for mental health. Overall, though, the data show the suicide rate is increasing.

In 2017, more than 6,100 veterans died by suicide, an increase of 2% over 2016 and a total increase of 6% since 2008, the report found.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These numbers... are nearly off the chart crazy, and again, point to one issue; once our military are "in country", and they really understand what they have been asked to do, which is to "neutralize" populations (usually through assassinations, or other forms of murders) so that the US can control their government and their resources, ending up with thost resources sold in US dollars, and only US dollars.

And even if these troops were never called up to participate in the fighting, they have an extraordinarily sharp sense, that in all the justifications the "Warminals" dish up, none really ever make logical sense.

So, out of desperation, the Military medical does what they have been told to do; sedate them just hard enough that they, hopefully, will not be reliving images of the nightmare scenarios they have heard, about ground strikes, or wedding parties assassinated, and children stepping on unexploded cluster bombs, which can rip a child's body to shreds.

And for some people, this exposure to the monstrousness of war, is all that is necessary to plunge them into the deep, downward sliding of depression, and winding up in the abyss of uncontrollable despair, after finding out that something has gone horrifically wrong with their government, but they are not able to fix it.

As Washington uses questionable evidence to call on other nations to condemn Tehran, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is expected to take a much different approach and use his time at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) this week to propose a cooperative agreement to stabilize and secure the Persian Gulf region.

“I will also get the Iranian nation’s message across to the international community,” Rouhani said Monday after touching down in New York for the 74th UNGA. “The Iranian people are suffering from a cruel economic war. Iran is a nation of resistance and wants everyone to return to their commitments and laws.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am sincerely, and prayerfully, that Rouhani does get a chance to speak tomorrow. The guy isn't a monster; just someone attempting to keep an elected government in place, and take care of his people

But with all the hoopla around him and this visit,I would not bet against Israel and the US creating some kind of "false flag" which would require his returning home early for "emergency consultations" with other members of his government.

Will More US Troops in Saudi Arabia Make America Great?

by Ron Paul: Posted on September 24, 2019

President Trump deserves credit for resisting the war cries from neocons like Sen. Lindsey Graham and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo after last week’s attack on two Saudi oil facilities. Pompeo was eager to blame Iran because he wants war with Iran and anything that can trigger such a war is fine with him.

A week has now passed since the attack and Pompeo’s rush to judgment has been shown for what it was: war propaganda.

President Trump likely understands that a US war on Iran will be his undoing as president. Who knows, maybe that’s what his closest advisors want. But according to a Gallup poll just last month, only 18 percent of Americans were in favor of military action against Iran.

I can't say I am a proponent of the Chinese government. However their so-called mistreatment of the Uighars, revolves around the US using the Uighars(along with Turkey)to destabilize China(Like they are doing in Hong Kong)along a key linchpin of China's Silk Road Project in Xinjiang, which is also rich in natural resources.
Here are a few stories to back up my contention, which is shared by people much smarter than myself.

REPORTS OF WEDDING PARTY BOMBING INDICATE US FORCES HAVE MASSACRED AT LEAST 70 AFGHAN CIVILIANS IN ONE WEEK

SOURCE: COMMON DREAMS
Dozens of Afghan civilians are dead, local officials said Monday, following operations carried out late Sunday by U.S. and Afghan forces targeting al Qaida fighters.

The incident in the southern province of Helmand, which came just days after a U.S. drone strike killed at least 30 farm workers in eastern Nangarhar province, highlights the fragile situation for civilians as the U.S. enters its 19th year of war in Afghanistan.

Details on exactly how many people were killed and who was responsible for the Sunday attacks remain unclear, a fact attributed at least in part to the area being under Taliban control. The U.S. has blamed the "majority of the deaths" on al Qaida. U.S. and Afghan officials say they're investigating.

The New York Times reported:

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to politely remind the Pentagon and State Department, that punishing an entire population for the sake of getting a few more "scalps" on its belt, is a war crime.

DOD THREATENS TO KILL MILLENNIALS WITH STEALTH BOMBER IN AREA 51 RAID

SOURCE: ZERO HEDGE
The Department of Defense (DoD) has apologized for an obscene tweet that threatened to deploy a stealth bomber against "millennials" on Friday who tried to break into a highly classified US Air Force facility located within the Nevada Test and Training Range, reported Reuters.

The now-deleted tweet, posted on Friday on the Twitter account Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS), a PR arm of the DoD, showed a photo of a Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, stating: "The last thing #Millennials will see if they attempt the #area51raid today."

DVIDS took aim at "Storm Area 51," a Facebook group that planned to storm Area 51 in Nevada on Friday, with intentions to "see them aliens" which conspiracy theorists claim the secret base holds evidence of extraterrestrials.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF actually true, this is absoflippinglutely unbelievable, considering that the US military is woefully short-handed due to falls in recruitings drives, and should be, perhaps, a little more adroit in handling the feelings of the very people they may seriously want to recruit.

A HALF-DECADE LATE, NY POST ADMITS ISIS IS RUN BY NATO MEMBER TURKEY

SOURCE: ZEROHEDGE
It's that time once again: over the weekend Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan for perhaps the twentieth time warned his army is making preparations to act on its southern border with Syria, saying it will take unilateral steps to create a "safe zone" amid accusations the US is dragging its feet implementing agreements to push Syrian Kurdish forces from the border.

This as yet another 'conspiracy theory' gets belatedly confirmed as conspiracy fact by the mainstream. The New York Post asks "Why isn’t the media covering Turkish President Erdogan’s ties to ISIS?" — well, it's at least been endlessly reported here and other places for about the past half decade. Better late than never, we suppose. The report details:

The evidence of Erdogan’s direct, personal and institutional support for ISIS and related jihadi groups is so extensive, the wonder is why the American media is not paying more attention to it.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The answer to that last question, is as plainly obvious a it is painful: the Presstitute whorespondents who want their "access" never denied, never look at what is really going on, but allow themselves to be "misdirected" by a government which, if examined collectively and logically by its people, would immediately demanded to resign.

But you see, all the wars in the Middle East and beyond, serve only the agenda of the US's "Deep State". This is why connecting the dots is of no use and purpose to those alleged whorespondents, because their "daily bread" is earned by spreading lies and creating misdirections, the real purpose of which is to lull Americans into a state of near-vegetative somnolence, until the "next big crisis" du jour is presented, and the US government and military, are, of course, expected to act, as though a US-led war is the only answer to the problem at hand.

Book Review: The (Real) Revolution In Military Affairs

The real revolution in military affairs is the development of new types of weapons by Russia. Weapons which the U.S. can not defeat and to which it has no equivalents. The consequence of the revolution is the loss of the U.S. geo-political supremacy. One cause of this loss is at the core of Martyanov's earlier book LOSING MILITARY SUPREMACY: The Myopia of American Strategic Planning.

The new book takes an expanded view of the situation.

America: A Land Without Truth

It has been 17 days since a four-year study of the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 by civil engineers was made available to the media. The study concluded that fire was not the cause of the collapse of the 47-story building. The study also concluded that “the collapse of WTC 7 was a global failure involving the near-simultaneous failure of every column in the building.”

After 17 days, the report of the civil engineering team remains unmentioned in the American media except for a local Alaska TV station and a local Alaska newspaper. The report went straight into the Memory Hole. The vast majority of the American people will never know that the information has been kept from them.

The pile of lies that constitutes American awareness is very high.

Joint US-Afghan Strike Kills 40 Civilians at Wedding

For the second time in a week, a US military operation in Afghanistan has ended with a large number of civilians dead, and US officials offering very dubious arguments as to why it wasn’t their fault.

The Sunday night attack saw US and Afghan commandos raid a house in Helmand Province, and ultimately launch airstrikes. The attack killed at least 40 civilians, including a number of children.

Instead of the Taliban building they thought they were raiding, it turns out the airstrike pounded an ongoing wedding reception.

Luongo: Did Trump Just Fall Into Aramco's Trap?

Authored by Tom Luongo via Gold, Goats, 'n' Guns blog,

Now that I’ve had a week to process it, the attack on the Saudi Abqaiq oil processing facility was more than a brilliant operation, it was a trap.

And, unfortunately, President Trump just fell in it.

My initial reaction to this was that it could have easily been a false flag to gin up a war with Iran on the eve of Israeli elections. The initial spate of questions hadn’t been answered adequately.

As the week went along, however, it became clear that the responses from all concerned to this attack that the those that took responsibility for it, the Houthis in North Yemen backed by Iranian technology, were the ones that did it.

And it all comes down to the same thing, the Saudi Aramco IPO.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, scuttling the Aramco deal, by making Saudi Arabia look incapable of defending its borders, and its oil refining capabilities, was the point all along?!?

I have a great deal of respect for Luongo, and his analyses, as in this case, may well be bang spot on.

I just hope and pray, that things stay quiet here; because if they do not, we may well be looking at the US government and Military, slogging their way, damn nearly unconsciously, into an horrendous war which may prove "past the point of no return" for all the countries enmeshed therein.

THE UIGHUR ISSUE

According to reliable Chinese sources, from 1990 until 2001 the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) – the Uighurs’ military arm – carried out over 200 terrorist attacks in China and inside Xinjiang.

Obviously this is a danger for the stability of the People’s Republic of China, which cannot afford a jihad area in such a neuralgic position for its defense and its peaceful land and maritime expansion, as anticipated by Xi Jinping.

In the near future this will be the starting point of the jihadist guerrilla warfare – the line of the Belt and Road Initiative defined in 2013.

XINJIANG AND UYGHURS — WHAT YOU’RE NOT BEING TOLD(BY THE CORPORATE/CORRUPT WESTERN MEDIA)

“1 million Uyghur Muslims in concentration camps!” … “Ethnic Cleansing and Cultural Genocide!” … the western media is very effective at using emotional phrases. But what’s the real story? Let’s go beyond exaggeration, distortion and sensationalism.

First of all, the media will never show the peaceful, prosperous parts of Xinjiang:

And Western media won’t talk about the billions of dollars that China has invested in Xinjiang, modernizing the cities, building 21 airports, linking with region with bullet trains etc.

And there are also thousands of mosques in Xinjiang, whose recorded history goes back more than 2000 years when the ancient Silk Road linked China to Italy and Greece. In China, there are mosques that were built in the 10th century, which demonstrates the tolerance and respect for religious rights in Chinese society.

THE US CONFLICT WITH CHINA: CHINA AND THE UYGHURS

The West is engaged in full-scale irregular war to destabilize China. The US created the Uyghur problem in Xinjiang by sponsoring terrorists there–the same tactics it used in Cuba, Venezuela, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya.

Groups like the World Uyghur Congress have offices in Washington D.C. and are funded by the US State Department via the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). The NED’s website admits to meddling and breaks down its targeting of China into several regions including mainland, Hong Kong, Tibet, and Xinjiang/East Turkestan (“East Turkestan” is what Uyghur militants and separatists call Xinjiang).

Sep 23 15:22

China’s Uyghur Problem — The Unmentioned Part

In August Reuters published an article under the headline, “UN says it has credible reports that China holds million Uighurs in secret camps.” A closer look at the article reveals no official UN policy statement, but rather a quote from one American member of an independent committee that does not speak for the UN, a member with no background in China. The source of the claim it turns out is a UN independent advisory NGO called Committee on Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The sole person making the charge, American committee member Gay McDougall, stated she was “deeply concerned” about “credible reports.” McDougall cited no source for the dramatic charge.

The U.S. Department of Terrorism

Department of State"

"The Iranian regime is the most destabilizing force in the Middle East and the world’s top sponsor of terrorism. That’s why the U.S. launched a campaign of maximum pressure. It’s producing maximum results."

This Big Lie production about Iran’s alleged malevolence toward its neighbors has dramatic music and graphics to support an obvious falsehood—Iran is the number one terror state in the world.

In fact, that designation is reserved for the United States government and its junior partner, Israel.

History is replete with examples—from both world wars to dozens of imperialist ignited brush fires including Vietnam and Iraq. As for Israel, it has been at war with its Arab neighbors for well over 70 years.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As an American who cares about her country, and a Christian Pacifist Activist, it has been hard to process all of the information, with which children in a public school, are forced to endure.

The beauty; the soul; the kindness; ingenuity; enthusiasm, and generosity of individual Americans, are, unfortunately, never really represented by a US government which alleges that it represents us, but generally only in the worst ways possible.

Unfortunately, that has become the case with the Unhinged, surveilled, State of Amerika; public wars are waged against created enemies, with public money, ultimately for private gain.

The pattern is brazenly simple, in its execution; a country, with incredible resources, is vilified as "the enemy" throughout the corporate, presstitute media; then, efforts are made to regime change; install a western/US centric government in its place; then foreign governments are brought in to "expropriate" those resources, to which they have no moral right, and these resources only get sold in US dollars.

Wash; rinse; repeat.

And IF the US winds up going to war against Iran, with Russia already having stated: Iran won't stane alone if US attacks it through one of its highest-ranking diplomats last June, we are looking at the following line-up: Russia, Iran, (and possibly China), on Iran's side, with the US, Saudi Arabia, and Israel on the other.

Unfortunately for both the US government and its weaponry makers, the US military proved itself completely impotent to prevent those two strikes against Saudi Arabian oil processing facilities a week ago; in fact, this could be construed as a 100% failure rate, on the part of US weapons, during that military encounter.

But the worst thing which can go wrong, has already gone horribly wrong, for both this US government and its State Department, right after 9/11, when we were told that both Afghanistan was "protecting Osama bin Laden", and Iraq had "weapons of mass destruction".

Both statements were lies, upon which military campaigns were premised, and during which a great number of American service members, died, or were crippled for life.

When any government decides that it is perfectly acceptable to lie, in order for the monied, to obtain the financial benefits of war, that government is no longer a reasonable, responsive, and cohesive voice of the people it allegedly represents.

It then becomes a monster, a frankenstein of its own creation, repeatedly lashing out against whoever, in the independent media, will not "peddle" their propaganda, and attempt to make life thoroughly miserable for them.

This.. is the current state of the Unhinged, Surveilled, State of Amerika.

And looking at past precedents in global history, I would suggest, that the state of this nation, will dissolve in one of two ways; either, a complete financial breakdown, or a world war which will bring about total destruction to the entire planet.

China, Russia, Iran ‘plan joint naval drill in international waters’

China, Russia and Iran are planning a joint naval drill in the Sea of Oman and northern Indian Ocean “soon”, a semi-official Iranian news outlet reported on Saturday, just days after the United States blamed Iran for a drone attack on Saudi Arabian oil facilities.

General Ghadir Nezami Pour, head of international affairs and defence diplomacy of Iran’s General Staff of the Armed Forces, said the drill would take place in international waters, the Iran Press news agency reported.

“The exercises have different goals, including the exchange of tactical and military experiences, and sometimes they seek political goals which show a kind of convergence between participants,” he was quoted as saying.

“Officials at the level of defence minister, chief of staff of the armed forces and commanders of the armed forces will come to Iran in the near future and these actions reflect Iran’s active defence diplomacy,” he was quoted.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to hope that the Adults in the Bowels of Power in the US; Israel; and Saudi Arabia, are paying reasonably close attention to this evolving, shift of alliances.

And I would also like to politely point to President Trump, that these countries which have been the most maligned by him, ever since he came to office, have had a way of making such a relationship not only work militarily, but also economically.

All these countries are looking to,or already have "dumped" the US dollar in financial relationships, and are dealing with their national currencies only in their trade with each other.

Occupation good for Palestinians, says Israeli opposition chief

Benny Gantz, chief of the Israeli army during Israel’s 2014 massacre in Gaza, is borrowing apartheid South Africa’s talking points to boost his election campaign.

Gantz heads the allegedly center-left opposition coalition hoping to unseat Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel’s elections later this month.

In a campaign attack on Israel’s prime minister, Monday, Gantz declared that, unlike Netanyahu, he would have allowed US congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib to visit Israel and the occupied territories.

Had they visited, Gantz claimed, they would have seen “with their own eyes” that “the best place to be an Arab in the Middle East is in Israel … and the second best place to be an Arab in the Middle East is the West Bank.”

Gantz’s contention that Israeli military occupation and colonization is a blessing to Palestinians is a direct echo of South Africa’s apartheid rulers who insisted that their brutal white supremacist regime was good for Black people.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I do not post this because it is "new news"; I am posting this, because I think that this is something which those Christians who are very loyal to Israel, and support it unthinkingly, really need to see, and understand.

I do not know what the Hebrew translation for "useful idiots" is, but I am quite certain that it is a muscularly derogatory comment, made frequently by those same leaders in Tel Aviv, plotting for the entire destruction of the Palestinian people, who love the money - and the adoration - which Christian Zionists who offer in huge amounts of both.

People gathered hours in advance for the massive rally at Houston’s NRG Football Stadium with a music and dance show featuring around 400 artists. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name was chanted long before his appearance – a welcome for a foreign leader rarely seen on American soil.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. President, a word, please; just in case all of your "first string advisors", have avoided mentioning this to you, you probably need to know, that India and her Neighbor, Pakistan, are very close to a shooting war over Kashmir.

Both are nuclear-armed. And before you really decide that this guy is about to become your newest, BFF, please note what the Indian government did right after massive demonstrations in the Kashmiri region, was the following:

iNDIA ABOLISHES KASHMIRI AUTONOMOUS STATUS This was done at a moment that all Kashmiri linksto the internet, had been silenced.

The situation between both countries is in a horrific state, with Modi still believing that his "catch phrases" are somehow going to make a difference; so, Sir, when the excrement hits the fan, and a hot shooting war over Kashmir starts, please remember that Pakistanis are very dependent upon China to assist it in military affairs, and we understand from recent posts that Pakistan's leader, Prime Minister Kahn, has made the following, and terrifying suggestion: ‘surrender-or-death’ scenario

Mr. President, I understand the emotional "high" during your rallies, I get it;but President Trump, you, and the other honorable Adults in the Room, internationally, have to start working the phones as quickly as you can, between New Dehli and Islamabad, to avert a catastrophe which may well pit the US and China into a monstrous proxy war between India and China, over Kashmir.

Let's, please, tamp this down, before there is a miserable, irrevocable shooting war, which could go nuclear in a heartbeat.

You are welcome, Mr. President.

How Afghan Opium Poppy Farming Has Grown

Webmaster's Commentary:

7 Technologies That Transformed Warfare

War has a long history that dates back to the dawn of civilization, but armies have come a long way since the spear, or the bow and arrow. Advances in technology have led to faster airplanes, laser-guided weapons, and unmanned, bomb-carrying vehicles.

Here are seven technologies that have transformed warfare.

Sep 23 07:39

The Invention Of Guns

The invention of guns followed the development of the explosive black powder in China. The first guns were simple tubes from which to shoot explosive charges, but gradually they were made easier to load, aim, and fire. Guns revolutionized warfare and effectively ended the age of the armored knight and the castle stronghold. They have had a profound effect on human history.

Shocker: Comparing Deaths From Medical Treatment, Vitamins, All US Wars

By Jon Rappoport

Why do I keep writing on this subject? Hmm, let’s see—because extraordinary numbers of people are dying, and are severely maimed. That’s a pretty good reason.

Because medical and government and press authorities are lying through their teeth and covering up the numbers. Because some of the people who are dying could be people you know and love, in your family, in your circle of friends. Because the facts are clear—no speculation or opinion required. Because this is not a one-time occurrence. It is ongoing.

Because you might send this article to people who will learn about this shocking subject for the first time...

Exhibition of Houthi military-industrial achievements

New ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as new reconnaissance drones were presented.
It is expected that these weapons, including new ones, will be used by the Houthis both on the territory of Yemen against the interventionist troops and local collaborators, as well as against infrastructure facilities in Saudi Arabia and the UAE (airports, military bases, ports, oil pipelines).

For Iran, the entire Yemeni war has become an excellent training ground, where in real combat conditions (via the hands of the Houthis) the latest samples of Iranian ballistic missiles, adjustable artillery shells, and reconnaissance and attack drone vehicles are being tested.

It is worth remembering that in the event of the start of a fully-fledged war against Iran, all of this can be used against tankers in the Red Sea in order to block oil exports through Jizan.

Houthis’ New Missiles & Combat Drones Revealed

On July 7, Ansar Allah (also known as the Houthis) held a military exhibition displaying their new weapon systems, including the Quds-1 cruise missile, the Badr-F precision-guided tactical ballistic missile, and Samad-1, Samad-3 and Qasef-2K unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The Quds-1 cruise missile was the staple of the show. Previously, it was believed that the missile was derivative from the Iranian Soumar cruise missile, developed from the Soviet Kh-55 cruise missile. However, the new photos reveal that the Quds-1 has different design, like the top-mounted turbojet engine and the static wings. The missile’s engine appears to be identical to the TJ-100 produced by Czech’s PBS Velká Bíteš.

The Houthis have not revealed the Quds-1 characteristics. However, it is believed that it has a range of more than 150km. The missile likely relays on an inertial navigation system aided by a satellite navigation system such as GPS.

The Saudi Arabia Drone Attacks Have Changed Global Warfare

The devastating attack on Saudi oil facilities by drones and missiles not only transforms the balance of military power in the Middle East, but marks a change in the nature of warfare globally.
On the morning of 14 September, 18 drones and seven cruise missiles – all cheap and unsophisticated compared to modern military aircraft – disabled half of Saudi Arabia’s crude oil production and raised the world price of oil by 20 per cent.

Oil production facilities and the desalination plants providing much of the fresh water in Saudi Arabia are conveniently concentrated targets for drones and small missiles.

In other words, the military playing field will be a lot more level in future in a conflict between a country with a sophisticated air force and air defence system and one without. Similar turning points in military history have occurred when the deployment of an easily produced weapon suddenly checkmates the use of a more complicated one.

Long Range Attack On Saudi Oil Field Ends War On Yemen

The drones and missiles the Houthi use are copies of Iranian designs assembled in Yemen with the help of Hizbullah experts from Lebanon. Four days ago a Houthi delegation visited Iran. During the visit Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei for the first time publicly admitted that the Houthi have Iran's support:

"I declare my support for the resistance of Yemen's believing men and women ... Yemen’s people... will establish a strong government," state TV quoted Khamenei as saying in a meeting with the visiting chief negotiator of the Houthi movement Mohammed Abdul-Salam.

Crises – the Middle-East and a few hopefully useful pointers

The Middle-East is literally exploding: the Houthis have delivered an extremely effective blow against Saudi oil production which (so they claim) has now dropped by 50% before bouncing back; there are persistent rumors that Russian Su-35S and S-400 has threatened to shoot down Israeli aircraft attacking Syria; Lebanon has declared that it will defend itself against Israeli attacks; Hezbollah has been threatening to deliver crippling strikes on Israel and even Israeli officials; Turkey has purchased Russian air defenses and says that if the USA refuses to deliver their F-35S, then Turkey will consider Su-35s and even maybe Su-57’s. Bibi Netanyahu tried to use Putin for his reelection campaign (well, he really is trying desperately to stay out of jail) but had to go home empty handed and, according to the JP, his mission was a failure.

Thomas DiLorenzo: More on the Myth of Lincoln, Secession and the 'Civil War' By Anthony Wile

Thomas DiLorenzo: Lincoln mythology is the ideological cornerstone of American statism. He was in reality the most hated of all American presidents during his lifetime according to an excellent book by historian Larry Tagg entitled . He was so hated in the North that the New York Times editorialized a wish that he would be assassinated. This is perfectly understandable: He illegally suspended Habeas Corpus and imprisoned tens of thousands of Northern political critics without due process; shut down over 300 opposition newspapers; committed treason by invading the Southern states (Article 3, Section 3 of the Constitution defines treason as “only levying war upon the states” or “giving aid and comfort to their enemies,” which of course is exactly what Lincoln did). He enforced military conscription with the murder of hundreds of New York City draft protesters in 1863 and with the mass execution of deserters from his army.

The Attack on Saudi Arabia’s Oil Facility. The Patriot Air Defence System Failed. Why?

There are many unanswered questions, the most important of which is:
Why did Saudi Arabia’s advanced Patriot Air defense system fail to detect the drones and missiles?
According to the Wall Street Street Journal:
U.S. and Saudi officials didn’t anticipate a strike from inside Iran, officials said, rather than through one of its proxy forces or elite military units.

These are nonsensical statements.
The whole Persian Gulf defense apparatus which includes strategic US and allied military facilities is based on “anticipating” strikes from Iran.
The Eastern flank of Saudi Arabia is “not undefended”. Quite the opposite: it is protected by the US multibillion dollar Patriot Air Defense system. Western defense analysts know this inside out.

Moreover, that Eastern flank of Saudi Arabia is heavily militarized. It includes several important US and allied military facilities in Saudi Arabia (as well as in the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman)

World Oil Prices and Western Intervention: Implications of Successful Yemeni Drone Strikes on Saudi Oil Installations

On September 14th Yemen’s Ansurullah Coalition forces carried out a successful strike on two major oil installations in Saudi Arabia, marking the latest in a series of increasingly significant and far reaching attacks carried out using asymmetric assets. The attack was reportedly carried out using ten light drones, each costing under $20,000, and alongside its ballistic missiles capabilities demonstrated the growing reach of the coalition.

Su-30MKK: Designing an Elite Fighter to Protect Chinese Coasts and the Beginning of Chinese Maritime A2AD

The end of the Cold War and collapse of the Soviet Union saw tensions between the Western Bloc and the People’s Republic of China escalate, and a potential conflict with the Western Bloc and particularly the United States thus emerged as the primary focus of Chinese defence planning. The U.S. bombing of the Chinese embassy in Yugoslavia, reports of Western support for anti government riots which killed several PLA soldiers in 1989, and U.S. threats of war against North Korea, all led the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) leadership to escalate preparations for the possibility of U.S. military action in northeast Asia.

Saudi Arabia up in Flames: Riyadh Is Headed for a Major Disaster

The Saudi kingdom finds itself in an increasingly dangerous situation as a result of the retaliatory capacity of the Houthis, able to inflict severe military and economic damage on Riyadh with their missile forces. Estimates suggest that Riyadh is losing something in the region of $300 million a day from the Houthi attacks. On Sunday September 15, a spokesman for the Saudi oil ministry spoke of damage that is yet to be calculated, possibly requiring weeks of repair. Meanwhile, Saudi oil production has halved following the Saturday attack. With a military budget of $200,000, the Houthis managed to inflict damage numbering in the billions of dollars.

“Houthi Attack” on Saudi Oil Fields – a False Flag? The Financial Reaction Was Immediate

If it all sounds like a big fabricated confusion, it’s because it is a big fabricated confusion. Iran is singled out; fingers pointing to Iran (except, miraculously those of Saudi Arabia), like a sledgehammer hitting Iran, again and again. – The mainstream media loves it. Today, a week after the attack, most nobody remembers the Houthis claiming responsibility – it was Iran. Period. The media blitz won.

Webmaster's Commentary:

France's Macron absolutely seemed to be on the correct track, when he sent a team of forensic specialists to Riyadh, to see what could be determined; but I am very concerned that before they have time to even open their scientific equipment, there will be a new, and devastating attack against Saudi Arabia, which will involve civilians, as this would create Saudia Arabia's "bloody shirt to wave/Pearl Harbor" moment.

I hope to hell that I am dead wrong on this scenario; but even with President Trump's having dispatched more US military personnel, and weaponry here, this may well not prevent another attack, if the first attacks ultimately received relatively little traction, and was about to get a true forensic investigation going.

Indian PM Modi Calls for Building ‘A New Kashmir’

New Delhi (Sputnik): In a shift from the much-used slogan of “Kashmir is Ours” all these years in election speeches, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called on people to work towards building a new Kashmir, as he gave people a new slogan — “We’ve to Build A New Kashmir”.

“Earlier the slogan was ‘Kashmir Humara Hai’ (Kashmir is Ours). Now we must work towards a new slogan, ‘Naya Kashmir Banana Hai’ (We’ve to Build a New Kashmir),” he said, addressing a public rally in Nashik city of the Indian state of Maharashtra, which is expected to undergo state elections soon.

While giving a clarion call to embrace Kashmiri brothers and sisters, the Indian prime minister said there is need to strive to create a “new paradise in Kashmir” once again.

Stating that a lot of efforts are being made from across the border to create mistrust and violence in Jammu and Kashmir, he said: “We have to create a new paradise in Kashmir... embrace each Kashmiri.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Prime Minister Modi, a word, here, please; giving the voters of India a "new catch phrase", regarding Kashmir, is somewhat akin to attempting to put a large bandaid on a metastasizing cancer, and will have the same effect; absolutely nothing, for the people of Kashmir; Pakistan and India.

And when your counterpart in Pakistan, Prime Minister Khan, is making statements like the following:

Pakistani PM Khan hints at nuking India in ‘surrender-or-death’ scenario, which will almost inevitably see a regional, if not a world war, that is an absolute guarantee, your new rhetoric is getting zero traction.

There is a desperate need for real, moral, hard-won negotiations regarding Kashmir to come about, and right now; because if these do not happen, it will be catastrophic for the entire region.

Whoever attacks Iran will become ‘main battlefield’ – IRGC commander

The chief of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has vowed to shoot down all drones violating the nation’s airspace and repel any aggressor. The warning came after the US accused Iran of hitting Saudi oil sites.
Tehran is ready for “any scenario,” and remains determined to fight back “until the full destruction of any aggressor,” IRGC commander, Major General Hossein Salami, told reporters at a news conference on Saturday.

“Whoever wants their land to become the main battlefield, go ahead,” he said.

Salami made his comments while showcasing the pieces of a US RQ-4 Global Hawk spy drone that was downed by the IRGC over the Strait of Hormuz in June. Iran claimed the drone had violated its airspace, though this was disputed by Washington. Salami vowed to “take action” against all foreign drones violating the nation’s borders.

“If anyone crosses our borders, we will hit them,” he stated.

Another 'Total Massacre' Ignored By Mainstream: US Drone Strike Kills 30 Farmers In Afghanistan

Authored by Eoin Higgins via CommonDreams.org,

A U.S. drone attack killed 30 pine nut farmers and wounded at least 40 others in Afghanistan Wednesday night, the latest killing of innocent civilians by American forces as the "war on terror" enters its 19th year.

The farmers had just finished work and were sitting by a fire when the strike happened, according to tribal elder Malik Rahat Gul.

"Some of us managed to escape, some were injured, but many were killed," said farm laborer Juma Gul.

Reteurs reported that there may be more farmers missing:

Haidar Khan, who owns the pine nut fields, said about 150 workers were there for harvesting, with some still missing as well as the confirmed dead and injured.

A survivor of the drone strike said about 200 laborers were sleeping in five tents pitched near the farm when the attack happened.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, Colonel Sonny Leggett, if the attack was made on pine nut farm workers during a harvest, where, please, were these Da'esh against whom you alleged you were attacking?!?

I am very strongly reminded of George Carlin's monologue about this issue; and for me, Carlin was far more than a comedian; he was, at some levels, a prophet.

George Carlin Monologue

And here comes "the coup de grace" on the entire sordid issue: US Defends Attacking Afghan Farm Laborers, Says ISIS Was Pretending to Harvest

This article goes on to state: "Provincial officials remain deeply critical over Thursday’s US attack on the camp of a group of farm laborers in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar, killing at least 32 civilian farm workers and wounding 40 others, many of them children.

US officials, however, continue to maintain that what everyone in the region knew were hired hands for a pine nut harvest were actually ISIS fighters, claiming that the ISIS fighters were just pretending to work as harvesters.

There is no evidence for that, and a lot of evidence to the contrary, particularly that the village in question had written to top officials weeks ago to inform them of the upcoming harvest, the temporary camp, and asking them not to attack the economically vital harvest of the forest."

Here, folks, is that letter: Letter detailian Civilian Presence, failed to Prevent a deadly Afghan Drone Strike

This article goes on to state: "‘HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO US?’
Malak Khaiyali Khan, chief of Jaora village in the Wazir Tangi area, had sent his teenage son along with three friends to shell pine nuts.

On Thursday evening, four bodies were handed over to Khan, including that of his son.

“My son and his friends were killed by the Americans. How could they do this to us?” said Khan, who was leading a protest against the strike before the burial rites."

IF these US officials actually made that turd of a statement, names should be named; because in looking at what happened to these hapless farmers, it appears, painfully clearly, that this came from the Official Department of "You Can Make this S*it Up, and People are really going to believe you!!!"

Doubting Iran Link, Macron Sends French Experts to Investigate Saudi Oil Attack

French President Emmanuel Macron is deploying experts to Saudi Arabia to investigate the origin of the attacks on major oil facilities that Washington and Riyadh blame on Iran, Paris said Wednesday.
France’s presidential palace announced Macron’s decision to send the experts after the French leader held a phone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman (MBS), the Agence France-Presse (AFP) news agency reports.

The United States and Saudi Arabia have accused Iran of carrying out Saturday’s devastating attacks on two facilities operated by the Sunni kingdom’s state-run Aramco. Macron’s administration appears to doubt Iran’s involvement in the debilitating attacks. Iran also denies involvement in the assault on the two plants, which include the top petroleum processing facility in the world.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Macron is doing the logical thing here, and precisely what Russia's President Putin called for a couple of days ago; a fully unbiased examination of the results, to understand what actually happened here.

Donald Trump Threatens to Dump Imprisoned Daesh Fighters at Europe’s Doorstep

US President Donald Trump has threatened to set prisoners from Europe who joined Daesh* in Syria and Iraq free at the EU’s borders if they refuse to take back the captives. According to the American commander-in-chief, after the US defeated the so-called caliphate, Washington has “thousands of prisoners of war, ISIS fighters" who are European nationals, but these countries are refusing to cooperate. He singled out France and Germany when speaking on the matter.

"We're asking the countries from which they came, from Europe, we're asking them to take back these prisoners of war. And they can try them, do what they want. So far, they've refused. And at some point, I'm going to have to say, 'I'm sorry, but you either take them back or we're going to let them go at your border'", he said.

BREAKING: Iran Will Secure Maritime Borders, Give ‘Crushing Reaction’ to Any Aggression, Navy Commander Says

Earlier, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, said that any country that attacks Iran would be the "main battlefield".

Iran's Navy Commander Hossein Khanzadi has said that Tehran is prepared to defend its maritime borders and will respond with a "crushing reaction" to any aggression by enemies.

Earlier, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said that Iran will not allow anyone to violate its borders. He added that the Islamic Republic extends the hand of friendship to all of its neighbours.

HomeWorld NewsPakistani PM Khan hints at nuking India in ‘surrender-or-death’ scenario

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan warned of “consequences” if nuclear-armed Pakistan ends up losing a conventional war to its nuclear-armed rival and neighbor India.
Asked in an Al Jazeera interview to set the record straight on whether Pakistan would hit India with nuclear weapons in case of a large-scale conflict, Khan began with the disclaimer that he would never be the one to attack.

“Pakistan would never start a war, and I am clear: I am a pacifist. I am anti-war,” he said.

However, the prime minister quickly added that when two nuclear-armed states “fight a conventional war, there is every possibility that it is going to end up into nuclear war.” And while he described it as “unthinkable,” his next hint sent a clear message about what Pakistan may do if it’s losing a conventional war against India.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Prime Minister Khan, a word, please: all Christians, Muslims, and Jews are Collectively, universally characterized as,"People of the Book", meaning we have origin stories; prophecies; and with some prophecies fulfilled.

I would like to politely suggest to you, that even talking about using nuclear weapons over India's treatment of Kashmir, puts Pakistan on a short list for "regime change", and quickly.

IT is of the highest, most critical matter, that Pakistan and India begin talks again, in earnest, because the horrific scenarios such an attack will create, will most likely create a world war, in a heartbeat.

I am asking you to do something which is very difficult (not to mention, politically dangerous), to do; to engender an understanding between your country and India, that Kashmir will have a solid opportunity to create its own future, through a transparent, and responsible referendum process, and decide if it will be independent; stay with India; or ask to join Pakistan.

I strongly believe that this will ratched down the tensions here, and create a more peaceful opportunity for trade, cultural exchanges, and education (down the road), for all the people of Kashmir; India; and Pakistan.

Saudi Arabia executes 134 people including six kids as brutal crucifixions spike

More than 134 people have been brutally executed in Saudi Arabia so far this year, including six who were just kids when they were arrested.

A massive spike in crucifixions and beheadings has seen the slain tortured and slaughtered by brutal methods, according to a human rights organisation.

In a report presented at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Baroness Helena Kennedy, QC revealed a further 24 people are at “imminent risk” of execution.

They include three children, prominent political opponents of the crown prince, clerics, and human rights campaigners.

An event hosted by The Death Penalty Project highlighted the “illegal and arbitrary executions” in Saudi Arabia as well as human rights abuses for both detainees and their families.

Experts said these abuses have been "exacerbated by the systematic torture of detainees and grossly unfair trials culminating in death sentences".

Here is How China-US Trade War Impacts Iran

In the last week of August, China added crude oil imports from the US to its tariff list for the first time in a retaliatory decision against the US decision to impose fresh tariffs on Chinese products. China imports about 6 per cent of its crude oil from the US. For an economy that increasingly relies on crude oil imports, this decision carries a lot of significance.
First, in terms of trade war, Chinese tariffs on oil imports from the US will undermine the US position as the world’s ‘new champion oil producer.’
China, accordingly, is also investing about 120 billion dollars in Iran’s transport and manufacturing infrastructure.China’s investment also comes with Chinese troops on the ground in Iran. Sending a clear message to the US, about 5,000 Chinese security personnel will be placed in Iran to protect Chinese projects from possible sabotage attempts by the rivals countries through their sponsored non-state actors, or even directly.

In addition, the colonel added, the Army Reserve had sucked up so much of his time that he was "struggling to keep my marriage and family together."

"We are by far the strongest military in the world," Mr. Trump said. "Going into Iran would be a very easy decision, as I've said before — would be very easy, the easiest thing. Most people thought I would go in within two seconds but plenty of time, plenty of time," the president said. "In the meantime, they have a lot of problems within Iran. Iran could be a great country, could be a rich country. But they are choosing to go a different way. There'll be a point at which they'll be very sorry for that choice. But I think I'm showing great restraint."

No one knows how many Yemenis have died or are currently starving. Estimates run from 250,000 to one million. The black humor? The Saudis just claimed they were victims of Iranian `aggression’ this past week after the kingdom’s leading oil treatment facility at Abqaiq was hit by a flight of armed drones or cruise missiles.

US to deploy more troops to Saudi Arabia after attack on oil industry

The Pentagon on Friday announced it will deploy additional US troops and missile defense equipment to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as Donald Trump has at least for now put off any immediate military strike on Iran in response to the attack on the Saudi oil industry.

The US defense secretary, Mark Esper, told Pentagon reporters this is a first step to beef up security and he would not rule out additional moves down the road. General Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said more details about the deployment will be determined in the coming days, but it would not involve thousands of US troops.

Other officials said the US deployment would probably be in the hundreds and the defensive equipment heading to the Middle East would probably include Patriot missile batteries and possibly enhanced radars.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am hoping - and praying - that these deployed personnel, are not going to wind up as "sacrificial lambs" from the next wave of attacks against Saudi Arabia; that would, indeed, give President Trump, his Israeli and domestic neocons, the absolute "bloody shirt" required with which to guarantee a US attack against Iran.

"Suspiciously Well Placed": First Images Of Crippling Damage To Giant Khurais Oil Field Revealed

Much of the attention concerning the crippling damage to Saudi Aramco facilities struck in last week's aerial attack ultimately blamed on "Iranian sponsorship" by US and Saudi officials has focused on Abqaiq processing plant, but on Friday the first on the ground images from the kingdom's giant Khurais oil field — the country's second largest — have been revealed, showing scorched infrastructure, ruptured pipelines, and "a mess of oil melted to asphalt, twisted and charred metal grates" according to an on site Bloomberg report.

And yet Aramco has remained insistent that the field will return to pre-attack output levels this month, after the company reported losing half its daily output in the aftermath of the early Saturday attacks, impacting a whopping 5% of total global supply.

Per Bloomberg, Khurais has a capacity of 1.45 million barrels a day, processing all oil on site; however the attack took out four 300-foot towers essential to the production process.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, an inside job by aided and abetted by dissident Saudis, or a false flag by Israel, for which the Houthi took the credit?!?

This almost doesn't matter, because if there are more strikes, my sense is that they will be done over highly civilian-occupied targets, insuring that Saudi Arabia has its own "bloody shirt to wave"; in the end, the US and Saudi Arabia, will continue to blame the attacks against Iran, because that will be the "justification" for the US and Saudi Arabia attacking Iran.

Pentagon to Present Trump, Aides With a ‘Range’ of Iran Military Options

Though President Trump has downplayed the idea of war with Iran over the past couple of days, the actual decision is to be made at a high-profile meeting, either Thursday or Friday depending according to reports.

Trump will be joined by a number of national security officials and other aides, and will be presented with a wide array of options by the Pentagon. Options are said to range from full-scale war to a simple cyberattack.

Gen. Joe Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was very clear about the Pentagon not pushing any specific agenda on this matter, saying the response would be purely a “political judgement.”

Among Trump’s officials, Pompeo is seen as the one pushing hardest for a military response. He’s been in Saudi Arabia meeting with officials there, and probably will come back all the more hawkish.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The overnights of the last polls on this issue, showed that only 13% of Americans believed that an attack against Iran was the right thing to do.

Of course, these attacks happened at around 4 AM in the morning, when most probably the least amount of personnel were tending to these buildings; but were I a betting person, I would not bet against another Houthi attack, or an Israeli false flag.

At that point, the presstitutes will definitely be using the banner "This is the Saudi's Pearl Harbor moment!!!!!"

I sincerely hope that the American people, who have been at war over 20 years, with nothing terribly substantial having been won for them, will continue to be skeptical and demand the facts.

Because logic and facts are the only things which may, with enough energy applied to them, be the only things holding this country back from initiating a Third World War.

BY MARCEL DETTMER ON SEPTEMBER 18, 2019INTERNATIONAL POLITICS
Largely unnoticed by the Western media, the Syrian government under Bashar al-Assad issued a general amnesty for crimes committed prior to that date on September 14, 2019. The "Decree No. 20" is part of a series of previous pardon - as it had been in the autumn of last year, an amnesty for deserters and conscientious objectors - is new, however, that the decision also concerns the civilian area. The aim is to make it easier, especially for Syrian refugees, to return to the largely peaceful country.

Luongo: Will The Yemen War Be The End Of Saudi Arabia?

Authored by Tom Luongo, Zero Hedge

The attack on Saudi Arabia’s major oil processing station in Abqaiq over the weekend was a major turning point in global politics. It may be even bigger than many of us realize.

While forces within U.S. political circles, Israel and Saudi Arabia keep trying to shift the blame to Iran, the most likely scenario is that the Houthis in North Yemen were responsible for the attack as a follow up to last month’s hit which showed off the capabilities of their new drones.

That attack set the stage for the latest one in a classic case of the past being prologue. By showing the world it was capable of throwing drones anywhere in Saudi Arabia rebels in Yemen created plausibility for last weekend’s attack.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And there is a question which must be asked of our weapons makers, in closed door meetings ,with secure communications protocols in place, with President Trump attending every one of them, actually or virtually, particularly those who supported Candidate Trump when he ran for President in 2016;

Why did US military weapons have a 100 % failure rate during these attacks against the Saudi oil infrastructure?!?

Because I can tell you that global weapons buyers for their countries are looking at each other with astonishment, that the very weapons the US pedals to other countries, as the alleged "best of the best of the best", are the same weapons which failed, so critically, in the attack?!?

Escobar: How The Houthis Overturned The Chessboard

Authored by Pepe Escobar via The Saker blog,

The Yemeni Shiite group’s spectacular attack on Abqaiq raises the distinct possibility of a push to drive the House of Saud from power.

Houthi striking capability – from drone swarms to ballistic missile attacks – has been improving remarkably for the past year or so. It’s not by accident that the UAE saw which way the geopolitical and geoeconomic winds were blowing: Abu Dhabi withdrew from Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s vicious war against Yemen and now is engaged in what it describes as a “peace-first” strategy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That it was not expected that the Houthis could ever fight back, and in such an intensely destructive fashion, may have been the most spectacular failure of imagination, on the part of both American, and Saudi, intelligence.

Unfortunately, this moment of awareness has not stopped the US and Saudi Arabia from continuing to blame Iran (a convenient whipping boy, due to its oil wealth (and a product which they refuse to sell in US dollars) and general stability in the region.

I would like to politely suggest that both countries examine the statement of a Russian diplomat at the end of a consortium, stating the following:

Iran won't be alone if the US attacks it

This was stated by Iranian diplomat Zamir Kabulov, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Asian countries including Iran, at a Russian-Iranian policy forum in Moscow.

I would strongly caution both the US and Saudi Arabia that this came down from the "big guy" himself, in Russian Politics, President Putin; I would also strongly caution both countries, that Putin meant what Kabulov stated.

Pompeo inadvertently admitted the Iran crisis is a 'direct result' of Trump's actions

As Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday defended the Trump administration's strategy toward Iran, he inadvertently acknowledged the recent tensions were a "direct result" of the president's decision to pull the US from the 2015 nuclear deal.
Pompeo was trying to make the case that things would be worse if the president hadn't withdrawn from the deal, which he called an "enormous failure."
But one former US official told Insider, "There is a direct line you can draw from Trump's violation of the Iran deal and the risk of conflict today."

What Trump’s Missteps on Iran Have Wrought

The United States has become a hi-tech Blackbeard.

ISTANBUL – The drone attack on Saudi Arabia oil facilities on September 14 is jolting the entire Middle East, the latest incident in a months-long battle between the Trump Administration and Iran. Yemen’s Houthi movement claimed credit for the devastating attack that shut down half of Saudi Arabia’s oil production. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blames Iran for the attack, while Iran has categorically denied it.
Let’s not forget that the Trump Administration started this low-level war by withdrawing from the Iran nuclear accord. The U.N. Security Council voted unanimously to ratify the agreement, so the U.S. stands in violation of UN resolutions and international law.

US drone kills 30 Afghan civilians instead of Daesh terrorists

A US drone strike that was supposed to take out members of the Daesh terrorist group in Afghanistan has instead killed at least 30 farm workers who were taking a break after a day's labor, officials say.

The attack on Wednesday night also injured 40 people as it targeted tents pitched near pine nut fields at the mountainous Wazir Tangi in eastern Nangarhar province, three officials confirmed to Reuters on Thursday.

"The workers had lit a bonfire and were sitting together when a drone targeted them," tribal elder Malik Rahat Gul told Reuters over the phone.

The owner of the fields said at least 150 workers were resting when the attack happened. Many of them remained missing, he added.
