Homeless numbers 'alarming' | WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

Homeless numbers 'alarming'

• In New York City, 2,747 families applied for shelter in September 2008, up from 2,087 in September 2007.

• In Hennepin County, including Minneapolis, 880 families were in shelters from January through August 2008, up from 698 in that period last year.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One homeless family should have sounded the alarm. But our government went right on pretending there wasn't a problem and sending billions of YOUR tax dollars to Israel year after year after year after year, while Americans slept in alleys and ate out of trash dumpsters.

Israel has cost the American tax payer four times the entire cost of the Apollo Moon Program. And for all that money we never got a giant leap for mankind (or new industries).
