Kent State 'gun girl' confronted by protesters at Ohio University

Conservative gun-rights activist Kaitlin Bennett, who went viral in 2018 as the “Kent State gun girl,” was confronted by protesters during her visit to Ohio University Monday.

Sharing video of an angry crowd appearing to curse at her and toss a clear liquid into the open window of her truck, Bennett claimed the event amounted to a “riot.” She also called on President Trump to strip federal funding from the university for harboring "terrorists" after she said campus police just “let it happen.”

Mike Bloomberg: Trojan Horse For Clintonista Revival

It’s been obvious to me since he declared that Mike Bloomberg is not a serious candidate for the Democratic nomination. He is everything the Democratic base doesn’t want — white, billionaire, oligarch, Wall St. 0.000001%’er.

Oh, and until just a couple of years ago, he was a Republican. Billionaires like Bloomberg change parties to where ever they see their money will go the farthest.

Right now, that is the quickly fracturing Democrats, who are staring at a revolt to Bernie Sanders that doesn’t sit with Wall St. at all.

Can the World’s Second Superpower Rise From the Ashes of Twenty Years of War

February 15 marks the day, 17 years ago, when global demonstrations against the pending Iraq invasion were so massive that the New York Times called world public opinion “the second superpower.” But the U.S. ignored it and invaded Iraq anyway. So what has become of the momentous hopes of that day?

The U.S. military has not won a war since 1945, unless you count recovering the tiny colonial outposts of Grenada, Panama and Kuwait, but there is one threat it has consistently outmaneuvered without firing more than a few deadly rifle shots and some tear gas. Ironically, this existential threat is the very one that could peacefully cut it down to size and take away its most dangerous and expensive weapons: its own peace-loving citizens.

Haftar-Led Libyan National Army Says It Destroyed a Turkish Vessel With Weapons in Port of Tripoli

Ankara previously deployed military advisors and instructors to Libya to support the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) against the Libyan National Army (LNA), led by Khalifa Haftar.

Spokesman of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Tuesday that Ankara can't confirm claims that its vessel has been destroyed in the port of Tripoli, Libya.

The statement comes hours after the Libyan National Army (LNA) said in an official statement on Facebook that its forces had destroyed a Turkish vessel, carrying weapons and ammunition that was docked in the port of Tripoli. Father Arrested for Drugs, Dying In Prison As State Denies Him Cancer Treatment

Talladega County, AL — Justin Faircloth is a loving father and husband who, like many people, has made some mistakes throughout his life. His most recent mistake involves being caught with a substance deemed illegal by the state which has landed him in prison. This mistake may very well be his last as he will likely succumb to his stage 4 colon cancer — because the state is refusing to treat him.

Over the past four months, Faircloth’s dire condition has gone untreated. The jail wasn’t even allowing him to treat the extreme symptoms of his debilitating disease like pain and lack of appetite, nor have they allowed him to speak to his doctor.

“I haven’t received any treatment. They haven’t even let me speak to my doctor since the 17th of January,

Antibiotic-resistant superbugs could leave chemotherapy ineffective within the next decade, oncologists warn

British oncologists have seen a rise in superbug infections among cancer patients in the past year alone, some of which are deadly.

A predicted 65,000 cancer patients could develop potentially life-threatening drug-resistant infections after surgery in the next decade.

Cancer patients may be more vulnerable to emerging superbugs because their immune systems have been made weaker by treatment.

Therefore, routine medical interventions, such as chemotherapy and other surgeries, may become less safe to use - thereby 'ineffective' - because of the infection risk.
