If a government has useful jobs to do and unemployed workers, the obvious solution is for the government to be the employer of last resort and create fiat currency to pay the workers. The added currency creates higher GDP, negating inflation. Problem solved.

Napoleon did it after ten years of chaos from the French Revolution. Germany did the same after their tragic-comic hyperinflation. In both cases, the two economies quickly became the most successful on the planet. Many of America’s brightest minds have argued for government-created currency, including Benjamin Franklin citing direct experience with the prosperity of the Pennsylvania colony with almost zero taxes. Government-created money can be used to directly pay for government goods and services rather than taxes.

O2 announces multi million pound 3G overhaul

The mobile operator has announced the cash boost because it needs to increase the capacity of its network to cope with the demands of the growing numbers of smartphone users, particularly iPhone customers.

An O2 spokesman denied that the move was in response to the increased competition it now faces from rivals Orange and Vodafone, which have recently signed deals to also sell the iPhone, ending O2’s exclusive arrangement with Apple.

Of those, 425,000 completed a marathon - 26.2 miles, or 42.2 kilometres - and 715,000 ran a half-marathon, according to Running USA, a non-profit group that promotes running. That is up from 143,000 marathon runners in 1980.

Other analysts document that these parasitic “trades” more than double oil prices. That is, once started, the magnetic motor speeds up on its own. In fact, the motor needs to be slowed or its acceleration will continue until the speed is so great that it breaks the motor.
