'Boo hoo hoo. You white people are angry because you couldn't use your white privilege card': Black college professor is fired in wake of heated Fox News interview where she made racially insensitive comments

A New Jersey community college has fired an adjunct professor after officials say she made racially insensitive comments on Fox News.

Lisa Durden was axed from Essex County College as the adjunct communications professor on Friday - roughly two weeks after she appeared on 'Tucker Carlson Tonight'.

Essex County College's president Anthony Munroe announced the decision Friday and said officials at the school had received complaints about her heated interview with Carlson.

UCLA Releases 'Resistance' Handbook; Defines Trumpism As "White Supremacy, Misogyny, Xenophobia..."

There is little doubt that America's bastions of higher indoctrination (a.k.a. "Universities") have become nothing more than training grounds for future generations of social justice warriors. The war for America's college campuses has become so heated that liberal administrators, the same people who used to pride themselves on challenging their students to step outside their comfort zone and open themselves up to dissenting opinions, have taken to shutting down free speech when it doesn't perfectly align with their 'enlightened' world view.

Turkey to stop teaching Darwin’s theory of evolution in high schools

TURKEY will stop teaching Darwin’s theory of evolution in high schools, deeming it controversial and difficult to understand, a senior education official says.

Critics say President Tayyip Erdogan and the Islamist-rooted AK Party are undermining modern Turkey’s secular foundations by pushing a conservative agenda, including tighter regulation of alcohol and other restrictions, since coming to power in 2002.

A chapter entitled Beginning of Life and Evolution will be deleted from the standard biology textbooks used in schools and the material will be available only to students who go on to university studies from age 18 or 19, Alparslan Durmus, head of the national education board said in an online address this week.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The American comedian Ron White has a one-liner which absolutely applies here: "You can't fix stupid."

And this ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid move has obviously been done to dumb down Turkish high school students by people who utterly do not understand the incontrovertible science of evolution.

School's Interpretation of the constitution

The constitution itself is not the basis for our freedoms and liberties. The constitution itself is just a "reminder" of the god given or natural rights we the people have. As for government giving you rights? Government does not give us rights, it inherently takes rights away, as the founding fathers warned ad nauseam.

Shut the front door! 7 Percent of Americans think brown cows produce chocolate milk

Making chocolate milk is easy. All you need to do is mix chocolate powder with regular milk, add some cocoa and sugar, and then you get to enjoy your drink. However, several million people say you don’t need ingredients at all — you get your flavorful chocolate milk treat straight from the cow itself. Apparently, seven percent of American adults — yes, adults, not little toddlers who think that the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus are real — believe that brown cows make chocolate milk. And no, this is not a joke. There are people who believe in the existence of magical cows from whose udders gush Ovaltine.

IN RHODE ISLAND, STUDENTS AND PARENTS MUST LET SCHOOLS SPY ON THEM DAY AND NIGHT THROUGH THEIR LAPTOPS

A majority of the Rhode Island school districts with "1-1" programs where each student is issued a laptop have a blanket policy of spying on the students and everything they do on their laptops, during, before and after school hours, on or off school premises, without any evidence (or even suspicion ) of wrongdoing.

The schools analogize this to school locker searches, in which students are denied any Fourth Amendment protections. But that (very dubious) principle is being stretched beyond the breaking point, as school lockers are in schools, whereas these laptop searches are being carried out remotely, everywhere, anywhere.

This isn't so different from the policies asserted by employers who require workers to take devices home, then assert the right to spy on them using those devices, installing their own certificates so they can stage "man-in-the-middle" interceptions of private sessions between employees and their email providers, financial institutions, etc.

Webmaster's Commentary:

How "1984" of Rhode Island!!

Were I a parent with a kid in school where these devices are mandatory, I would immediately pull that kid out of that school, and put them in a private school where such policy does not exist.

Failing that, because of the cost, I would "vote with my feet", and move to another state where this policy is not pursued.

High Schools Drop "Valedictorian" Distinction Fearing Lower-Ranked Kids May Feel 'Triggered'

We've spent a fair amount of time over the past several years writing about the 'participation trophy generation' (a.k.a. "millennials) and, more specifically, how their inflated sense of entitlement and self-worth, irrespective of work effort and/or innate talent, would not serve them well in the real world.

You see millennials, despite what your enabling handlers (a.k.a. "educators") have told you your whole life, people here in the real world couldn't care any less about your feelings, think your 'Gender Studies' degree was a complete waste of your parents' money, will not promote you just because anything less would be a 'triggering' event and do not recognize your standing to demand 'safe spaces'.

In fact, taking a moment to truly internalize the following quote from our favorite movie would serve you well.

They are disincentivizing achievement.

KIDS HORRIFIED AFTER COPS HOLD MOCK CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING DRILL, WITHOUT SAYING IT’S A DRILL

The Florida Highway Patrol is reviewing its presence at the Girls State Program after troopers conducted a kidnapping/human trafficking drill which went “horribly wrong” according to WFTV News Channel 9.

The girl’s program is attended by some of best and brightest high-schoolers Florida has to offer. “Everyone who’s going is at the top of their class,” Cameron Carlyle said describing the high-quality candidates who attend the elite leadership camp. But no amount of education could have prepared the girls for what happened on the last night of their training.

The Girls State director along with six Florida State Troopers, all female, pulled an attendee aside and told her she would be participating in a kidnapping drill, one which highlighted the real-world problem of sex trafficking. Under the cover of secrecy, the volunteer named “Katrina” was taken to a safe place. Thereafter, roll call was taken with the remaining girls.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Were I a parent of one of these young women, I would have pulled my daughter out of that program, and their school, so quickly that it would make heads spin.

Sexual trafficking is a serious problem.

That being said, what the State Troopers should have done was to educate these young women about how they can avoid getting into situations where something like this could happen, and how to fight back, if they are abducted.

EVERGREEN STATE FACULTY TURN ON BRET WEINSTEIN, SAY HE ‘ENDANGERED’ STUDENTS

A letter was sent Friday to students by the faculty at Evergreen State College, saying they stand behind the protesters and wish to pursue disciplinary action against Professor Brett Weinstein.

The Oregon college of about 4,000 students erupted in protests last week after Weinstein, a leftwing biology professor, told student activists he did not agree with their “Day of Absence” plans. The Day of Absence is usually conducted by students of color leaving the campus for the day, to bring awareness to their presence and issues. This year, however, student activists wanted all white students and faculty to leave for the day. Weinstein, who supported the former Days of Absence, called this year’s plan an act of oppression.

The blowup was highly publicized by the media, and the campus was shut down yesterday and today due to a man calling local police, threatening to shoot up the school.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Endangering students" by not agreeing to their demands that no Caucasians be allowed on campus for the "Day of Absence"?!?

When in Sam Hill did college education get so messed up?!?

And before ANYONE accuses me of "racism", etc., etc., let me remind you that I graduated from Cal States Dominguez Hills (Compton-adjacent), and we had a "rainbow college community" which just got along beautifully, because we all had our eyes of the prize of a college education which would better our opportunities for work, once we graduated.

And it didn't matter that we were this crazy quilt pastiche of Asians, Hispanics, African-Americans, and...people who looked like me.

Weinstein will probably lose tenure, and get fired, for making what, I think, is a reasonable observation about this "Day of Absence".

And that is a bloody shame; and I say this, because no problem in society, even in college, can be resolved, without all of us, working to make this world a better place, together as a team, no matter what our ethnic background may be.

16-Year-Old Commits Suicide After School Cop Threatens Him with Child Porn Charges

It took school and police officials just a few minutes to extinguish 16-year-old Corey Walgren's promising future. All they did was utter two words: child pornography.

Corey, a junior at Naperville North High School in Naperville, Illinois, was a perfectly normal, social, good-looking 16-year-old. He was an honor roll student with dreams of attending a Big Ten college. He had typical interests for a teenager boy: hockey, fishing, and, yes, girls.

Corey committed suicide in January, just hours after a school resource officer confronted him about an alleged illegal item on his cell phone—a recording of Corey having sex with a female classmate. The girl had informed a dean at the school that she believed Corey had played the recording for his friends (it's not clear whether he did), which prompted the authorities to summon Corey to the principal's office. They called his mother and told both of them that Corey was being investigated for possession of child pornography.

A shortage of homes for sale has bedeviled U.S. house hunters in recent years, so why don’t builders build more? One problem is that they’re running out of lots to build on—at least in the places that people want to live.

Sending Children to University is NOT the Way Forward – It Plays Right into the Globalist Plans

On both sides of the Atlantic we have seen a decade long push to have more and more people apply for university placement. Is this because governments see a “full-education” as the most practical way of removing people from poverty? or is there a more sinister reason?

What if Harry Potter Is Real?

his course will engage students with questions about the very nature of history. Who decides what history is? Who decides how it is used or mis-used? How does this use or misuse affect us? How can the historical imagination inform literature and fantasy? How can fantasy reshape how we look at history? The Harry Potter novels and films are fertile ground for exploring all of these deeper questions. By looking at the actual geography of the novels, real and imagined historical events portrayed in the novels, the reactions of scholars in all the social sciences to the novels, and the world-wide frenzy inspired by them, students will examine issues of race, class, gender, time, place, the uses of space and movement, the role of multiculturalism in history as well as how to read a novel and how to read scholarly essays to get the most out of them.

Segregated: White Students Banned From Student Lounge At D.C. University: “Nothing More Important Than Being A Multicultural Campus”

For over half a century Americans have enjoyed equal protection under the law, regardless of the color of their skin. These were rights that countless citizens of all colors fought for since long before the civil war.

We have made leaps and bounds in the way of creating a society that respects the religious and cultural backgrounds of all of our citizens.

We even elected a President of African American descent, something that would not have been possible without the support of voters of all colors and creeds.

Yet, it appears that all of that “progress” has led to this…

"It's Absurd" - 6 Baltimore Schools Have Zero Students Proficient In State Math, English Tests

Baltimore schools spend a staggering $16,00 per student - the fourth-highest rate in the nation - and still an investigation by Fox45's Project Baltimore revealed that at six city schools, not one student scored proficient on either the statewide tests for English and math.

At West Baltimore's Frederick Douglass High, one of five high schools and one middle school where not one student scored a four or a five on the state test, only one out of 185 students who took the test last year scored a three, while 165 students scored a one, the lowest possible score.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The only conclusion to which I can come, looking at these numbers, is that the dumbing down of American urban kids continues apace; and there is part of me that wonders how deliberate that is.

Because when kids are illiterate and innumerate, and cannot function, they have to become dependents of the state, for food, housing, and welfare.

People like this will never have an independent thought in their lives, and are easily manipulated to swallow and regurgitate anything the State tells them, no matter how logically absurd.

Anyone who ever saw the film "Stand and Deliver", based on a true-life story, where a high school math teacher in an urban high school, pushed his kids to be the best in math, and enter a competition, and go on to work at very high levels in math, understands how Baltimore's schools are failing their students.

Parents should be voting with their feet, and get their kids out of that city, and school district, and ASAP, if they have any aspirations of their kids achieving and accomplishing anything in their lives.

US News Desperate Parents Pull Children Out of School Over Fears of MS-13 Gang

Schools have become the crucible for intimidation and recruitment into the Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, gang on Long Island and around the country.

One Long Island mother, who wanted to remain anonymous for fear of reprisal from MS-13, said she and several other parents have taken their teenagers out of the local high school because they’ve become targets of the gang. Some children are being homeschooled and, in a few extreme cases, sent to stay with relatives out of the state.

“I am scared to death,” the mother said. “It’s a crapshoot. I feel like we’re rolling the dice here, and it shouldn’t be like this.”

Parents and children in Brentwood and Central Islip barely had time to comprehend the shocking murders of two teenage girls last September before four young men were found killed last month.

All six victims had been brutally murdered with baseball bats and machetes—the modus operandi of the MS-13 gang, which has proliferated in the area in recent years.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is a nasty situation for parents who want to see their kids achieve and excel in school; not get killed by a gang member

My sympathy is absolutely with them on this issue.

And in light of the fact that the city, county, state are impotent to correct the problem, taking their kids out of school and literally out of state may be the best option for them right now.

Yale Dean Placed on Leave over Yelp Reviews Calling People ‘White Trash’

A Yale University dean has been placed on leave over offensive reviews she made on Yelp, including one in which she refers to customers of a local restaurant as “white trash.”

Pierson College Dean June Chu issued a public apology Saturday after reviews from her personal Yelp account began circulating at the Ivy League school.

Pierson Head Stephen Davis sent an email Thursday informing members of the residential college that Chu had been placed on leave after he discovered there were numerous “reprehensible posts,” not the two he had been led to believe existed.

“If you are white trash, this is the perfect night out for you!” Chu wrote in a review of a local Japanese steakhouse.

Senator's Bill Would Punish DeVos for Screwing Over Low-Income Students

Segregated: White Students Banned From Student Lounge At D.C. University: “Nothing More Important Than Being A Multicultural Campus”

As tolerance spreads across the United States, universities and their progressive student bodies are coming up with new and innovative ways to ensure a positive multi-cultural experience for everyone… unless you happen to be a Caucasian.

At the American University in Washington, D.C., which is home to about 13,000 of our best and brightest, administrators and student activists have determined that the best way to ensure a a fair and equal environment is to ban all white people from their new student lounge. The meeting area, ironically named “The Bridge,” opened a couple of months ago as a place for people to gather, study and even sing on open mic nights.

But shortly after its opening, the following sign, apparently with the blessing of school administrators, appeared around campus. It designates the new lounge as a safe space and sanctuary for people of color.

In short: No Whites Allowed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING ME?!?

What ever happened to that inclusivity I felt, attending, and graduating from Cal State Dominguez Hills?!?

This was truly a "rainbow campus" where everyone, no matter their ethnicity, got along, because we all had our eyes on the same prize of getting a college education and degree, which would give us a competitive edge when going out into the job market.

This feels very much like a step backwards, and not forward, for race relations in the Unhinged, Surveilled State of America.

Tom Woods Explains Why "Your Facebook Friends Are Wrong About Health Care."

In a new free E-book, best-selling libertarian author Tom Woods explains, "I have no doubt that your Facebook friends are lovely people, but you know and I know they're clueless on health care. Chapter 1 takes you through the story of government involvement in health care and how it's this that your friends -- without realizing it -- are really complaining about. Then I start interviewing real-life physicians -- including one whose cash-only practice cuts costs to consumers by 80 to 90 percent. His strategy? Secede from the government/insurance complex. The book is filled with the kind of history and analysis that -- to say the least -- you won't find in many Facebook threads. Plus: how to cut those health care bills even in the Age of Obamacare..."

Sheer Lunacy on Campus

Americans who see themselves as either liberal or conservative should rise up against this totalitarian trend on America’s college campuses. I believe the most effective way to do so is to hit these campus tyrants where it hurts the most — in the pocketbook. Lawmakers should slash budgets, and donors should keep their money in their pockets.

Sheer Lunacy on Campus

To reduce angst among snowflakes in its student body, the University of California, Hastings College of the Law has added a “Chill Zone.” The Chill Zone, located in its library, has, just as most nursery schools have, mats for naps and beanbag chairs. Before or after a snooze, students can also use the space to do a bit of yoga or meditate. The University of Michigan Law School helped its students weather their Trump derangement syndrome — a condition resulting from Donald Trump’s election — by enlisting the services of an “embedded psychologist” in a room full of bubbles and play dough. To reduce pressure on law students, Joshua M. Silverstein, a law professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, thinks that “every American law school ought to substantially eliminate C grades and set its good academic standing grade point average at the B- level.”

US Navy runs into snags with aircraft carrier's electric plane-slingshot

Trump has been doing his homework!

The US Navy is having difficulties with its latest aircraft carrier's Electromagnetic Aircraft Launching System (EMALS) – the same system which the UK mooted fitting to its new Queen Elizabeth-class carriers.

The US Department of Operational Test and Evaluation (DOTE) revealed yesterday, in its end-of-year report [PDF] for financial year 2016, that the EMALS fitted to the new nuclear-powered carrier USS Gerald R. Ford put "excessive airframe stress" on aircraft being launched.

This stress "will preclude the Navy from conducting normal operations of the F/A-18A-F and EA-18G from CVN 78", according to DOTES, which said the problem had first been noticed in 2014.

In addition, EMALS could not "readily" be electrically isolated for maintenance, which DOTE warned "will preclude some types of EMALS and AAG (Advanced Arresting Gear) maintenance during flight operations", decreasing their operational availability.

Texas A&M Professor says white people may have to be killed

Tommy Curry is a professor at Texas A&M. Curry teaches “Radical Black Philosophies” and “Social and Political Philosophy.” He advocates “Critical Race Theory.” This is a black nationalist version of Marxist Critical Theory.

Among other things, Curry says that black people should talk openly about murdering white people. In a youtube interview, he says that the murder of white people may be necessary for “black liberation.” Further, he suggests that white people need to fear blacks so much that they believe “death could come for them at any moment.”

Currently, interracial murders in the USA involving blacks and whites are extremely one-sided. Most are black against white as it is. What Curry seems to be talking about is a planned mass murder on a large-scale. Curry is highly active on youtube and has many other anti-white diatribes.
