NETANYAHU SETS POLICY: WE WON’T MEET DIPLOMATS WHO MEET WITH BREAKING THE SILENCE

Israeli-German relations took a turn for the worse on Tuesday, the day after Holocaust Remembrance Day, when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu canceled a meeting with visiting German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel because he insisted on meeting with far-Left NGO Breaking the Silence.

“Our relations with Germany are strong and they are important and they will continue,” Netanyahu said, explaining his decision to cancel the meeting with a senior representative of one of Israel’s most important friends in Europe.

My policy is clear: not to meet with diplomats who visit Israel and meet with organizations that defame IDF soldiers and try to prosecute our soldiers as war criminals, which diplomats would never consider doing in the United States, Britain or anywhere else,” he said. “Our soldiers are the basis of our existence. They are guarding us, and we will protect them.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Netanyahu is acting scared, because he understands that Breaking the Silence is a powerful witness to the brutal excesses of the IDF, including cold-blooded murder, against the Palestinians. Here's their website:

Breaking the Silence. Org

And German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel, a word, please; whatever foreign aid your country is providing to Israel, I would suggest that it stops and immediately. People who tell the truth about their experience in the IDF should not be marginalised.

Latest German Crime Figures Show Surge in Violent Crime by Migrants

On Monday, the German Interior Ministry released police crime statistics for 2016. They show that 6.33 million offenses were committed last year; this 0.7 percent decrease in comparison with the previous year reflected a decline in robbery, theft and fraud. However, there was a marked increase in violent crime.

There was a 14.3 percent increase in murder and manslaughter, a 12.7 percent increase in rape and sexual assault and a 9.9 percent increase in serious assault.

There were almost 250,000 cases of migrants entering the country illegally, a 61.4 percent increase in comparison with the previous year. There was a 14.8 percent increase in weapons offenses and a 7.1 percent increase in drug offenses.

According to the statistics, illegal immigrants, refugees and asylum applicants were suspected to be responsible for 174,438 crimes, an increase of 52.7 percent in comparison with the previous year.

No wonder they wanted us to stay! UK leaving EU without deal 'would cost Germany BILLIONS'

BRITAIN leaving the EU without a deal would end up costing the remaining eurozone countries more, especially Germany, a Bundestag committee has been warned.

A hearing of the Bundestag’s European Committee was told by experts that Germany would incur extra costs because it is the largest net contributor to the EU’s kitty.

If Britain were to leave the bloc without a deal, then it would no longer be obliged to transfer any money to Brussels from April 2019 onwards and would not need to contribute to the future pension costs of EU officials, which stands at a sizeable £54.1billion (€63.8bn)

Dr Peter Becker, 58, at Germany’s Institute for International Policy and Security, told the committee: "The EU would then have no legal means to demand outstanding payments from London.”

FAKE NEWS IN DEFENSE OF ZIONISM

Now, almost every day inflationary targeted pro-Israel articles are published in different German media. They voluntarily hide the word “occupation” and Zionist crimes. Apparently, the more than 45 million US-Dollar spent by the Israeli ministries for the Hasbara propaganda are worth it. It is understandable that a right-wing regime like the Netanyahu regime makes use of these methods as there is nothing Zionists fear more than the truth.

One of Germany's most notorious Holocaust deniers, once loyal to leftist terrorist group RAF, has left the country despite having another jail term to serve. Horst Mahler says he wants to become an asylum seeker.

Penny-Pinching Germans Won't Cough up 70 Billion Euros For US Crusade Against Imaginary Threat

Speaking to US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in Brussels, German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said that Washington is deluded if it thinks that Germany would fork out more money to defend against a threat that doesn't really exist. Germany might cry wet crocodile tears about the dangers of Expansionist Russia, but rearmament is not happening: Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said it was neither "reachable nor desirable" for Germany to spend the agreed NATO target of two percent of member states' economic output on defense. NATO allies have until 2024 to do that. "Two percent would mean military expenses of some 70 billion euros. I don't know any German politician who would claim that is reachable nor desirable," Gabriel told the first meeting of NATO foreign ministers attended by Tillerson.

Merkel forever, Germany

The Christian Democratic Union showed a brilliant result in the elections in the German federal state of Saar, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said. The elections in Saar have marked the start of the political campaign of 2017, the culminating point of which will be September elections to the Bundestag. Merkel's Christian Democratic Union gained 40.7% of the vote, whereas the Social Democratic Party led by candidate for chancellor's post Martin Schultz showed the result of only 29.6 percent. No one would have paid any attention to the elections in Germany's smallest federal state, if it was not for the striking difference in the percentage of votes that Germany's two major parties gained. US Will Keep Ground Troops in Libya

In a press briefing at the Pentagon today, African Command leader Gen. Thomas Waldhauser announced that the US intends to keep ground troops in Libya for the foreseeable future to support “friendly forces,” and to “degrade” the ISIS forces that remain in the country.

Waldhauser did not specify how many US troops are in Libya now, or how many will stay, but did estimate that there were less than 200 ISIS fighters left in Libya. The US had announced the end of the anti-ISIS campaign in Libya back in December, but never fully withdrew from the country.

The US forces were in Libya trying to help the “unity” government defeat ISIS in the city of Sirte. US officials repeatedly claimed the city was totally surrounded, and that no ISIS fighters would get away, though when the fighting finally ended, a substantial number of ISIS fighters did in fact get away.

Webmaster's Commentary:

German satire: Russia's 25% cut in military budget is threat to NATO's existence

NATO is now gravely concerned whether Russia can still maintain the "Russian threat" to Finland, Sweden, and the whole of the Baltic States at all. Not to mention Montenegro! The same applies to Syria and also to the leading role in the Eastern Ukraine. Because here, too, the insurrection against Kiev could collapse in the absence of a commitment by the Russians. The reactive thinking is even going so far as to offer Russia military aid, just so it does not fulfill these announcements. It must continue to invest a large portion of its gross social product in armaments, according to the good and profitable tradition. Russia is threatening NATO with the drastic cutbacks on armaments spending. It can only be a matter for the NATO members to massively reduce the bad-role drama about the Russians in other countries. Where would one go from here? This could be a bad example. We all know the need for armament spending and its social function to secure the profits of our elites...

Steinmeier's presidency of Germany: any changes coming?

Of course in Germany the Chancellor is the country’s chief executive officer, and the president, as head of state, is expected to be above politics. But Steinmeier's way is to speak bluntly... will we see any changes in German policy? Yes. The biggest indicator is this: there is now a German president who dared split with NATO. He criticized last summer’s NATO exercises in Eastern Europe, making him that rare German politician - Sahra Wagenknecht being another - who could see the faux pas, the realpolitik error of putting German troops on the Russian border! "Anyone who thinks symbolic Panzer Parades on the eastern border of the Alliance will bring more security, is wrong. We are well advised not to provide a pretext for the renewal of old confrontation free of charge,” adding "it would be fatal now to narrow one's outlook to just the military, and to seek safety only thorough a policy of deterrence.

The Islamization of Germany in 2016

Mass migration from the Muslim world is fast-tracking the Islamization of Germany, as evidenced by the proliferation of no-go zones, Sharia courts, polygamy and child marriages. Mass migration has also been responsible for a host of social disruptions, including jihadist attacks, a migrant rape epidemic, a public health crisis, rising crime and a rush by German citizens to purchase weapons for self-defense — and even to abandon Germany altogether.

Development Minister Gerd Müller warned that the biggest refugee movements to Europe are still to come. He said that only 10% of the migrants from the chaos in Iraq and Syria have reached Europe so far: "Eight to ten million migrants are still on the way."

The Migrant Invasion of Europe: Get Ready for Riots and the Abolition of the White Race

German authorities block events where Turkish ministers to speak

German officials on Thursday blocked events where two senior Turkish government ministers planned to speak amid growing public outrage over Ankara's arrest of a Turkish-German journalist, dragging bilateral ties to a new low.

Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag said he had called off a meeting with his counterpart in Germany and was returning home after a talk he was due to give in the southwestern town Gaggenau was canceled, with officials citing concerns about the size of the venue.

Is There More to the Flynn Story?

A strange resignation in a UK intelligence service suggests U.S. partners may have been involved.

The Hannigan resignation is not occurring in a vacuum, and some in the large and highly networked retired intelligence community have come to believe that it is connected to the investigation and downfall of Trump’s first national-security advisor, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy has detailed exactly how the Flynn case does not appear to fit into any acceptable category that would have mandated an investigation and interrogation by the FBI. Surveillance of a Russian official would be authorized under FBI guidelines, but to extend that type of monitoring or investigation to a U.S. citizen would require specific authority from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court to issue a warrant based on probable cause.
