U.S. taxpayers have shelled out millions of dollars on luxury hotel suites in London during President Donald Trump's three-day state visit with his family.

Trump and first lady Melania were joined by the president's four adult children and their spouses when they arrived for the state visit on Sunday night.

According to contracts placed by the U.S. State Department, those accompanying Trump were staying at a number of exclusive London hotels.
