US Air Force to mothball dozens of A-10s, F-15s and F-16s in FY22 budget

The U.S. Air Force wants to send more than 200 aircraft to the boneyard with its fiscal 2022 budget request, freeing up $1.3 billion in savings that it can reinvest in cutting-edge technologies like its sixth-generation fighter and hypersonic weapons.

The Department of the Air Force, which released its budget request on May 28, requested a total of $173.7 billion — $156.3 billion for the Air Force and $17.4 billion for the Space Force.

Although research, development, test and evaluation costs for the Air Force increased from $26.6 billion to $28.8 billion, procurement fell from $26.1 billion to $22.9 billion.

So ........ where did all that money go?!?

Navy Will Get Air Force F-16 Fighter Jets to Fill Super Hornet Gap

The U.S. Navy is preparing to receive F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets from the Air Force as it moves to rid its inventory of legacy F/A-18 Hornet models used in its Reserve fleets, according to its fiscal 2022 budget request.

The Navy will shelve roughly 55 aircraft over the next year, the documents state, in hopes of transitioning to the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. But to make sure it has enough fighters available amid the conversion, it expects the Air Force to transfer some F-16s to it.

How to Build a Nuclear War Survival Kit.

A Nuclear War Might Seem Implausible, But How Many Of Us Expected A Global Pandemic?

In the category of disasters, natural disasters are all too common. There’s rarely a year where we don’t hear about hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes, wildfires, and now a pandemic. But manmade disasters seem to be less frequent and often under-reported.

In actual fact, there are random wars and civil wars going on right now all around the world. Terrorism appears to be on the rise and we’re on the brink of a significant economic crisis. Against that background, it’s hard to believe a nuclear war could enter the equation, but if one thing has become apparent across 2020, it’s that anything is possible.

Journalists and liberal Zionists are determined to push ‘apartheid’ charge down the memory hole

Today’s New York Times has a long and compelling feature article about the Palestinian “misery at the heart of the conflict,” including house demolitions and evictions in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The most remarkable thing about the article, though, is what it leaves out, the systematic legal discrimination that fosters these conditions. In a word, the fact that Israel has been accused by leading human rights groups in recent months of the crime of “apartheid.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

When a guy like South Africa's Bishop Desmond Tutu, who I have had the pleasure of hearing preach many years ago, at St. John's Episcopal Church on Adams Street in Los Angeles, tells me that the Israeli system is horrifically apartheid, I would really, really listen to him.

When it comes to apartheid, this man utterly knows about what he is speaking!!!!

Killer drone ‘hunted down a human target’ without being told to

Arnold Schwarzenegger could’ve seen this one coming.

After a United Nations commission to block killer robots was shut down in 2018, a new report from the international body now says the Terminator-like drones are now here.

Last year “an autonomous weaponized drone hunted down a human target last year” and attacked them without being specifically ordered to, according to a report from the UN Security Council’s Panel of Experts on Libya, published in March 2021 that was published in the New Scientist magazine and the Star.

The March 2020 attack was in Libya and perpetrated by a Kargu-2 quadcopter drone produced by Turkish military tech company STM “during a conflict between Libyan government forces and a breakaway military faction led by Khalifa Haftar, commander of the Libyan National Army,” the Star reports, adding: “The Kargu-2 is fitted with an explosive charge and the drone can be directed at a target in a kamikaze attack, detonating on impact.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

That one note at the end, that it "required no human controller.." sent chills down my spine; when, in war, to we go from being "in control" of autonomous systems, to no longer in control, so these weapons can kill at will, what does that forshadow for humankind's future?!?

My short answer is, nothing particularly good.

Mach 30 wind tunnel to ‘put China decades’ ahead in hypersonic race

A Chinese physicist has said that a new wind tunnel in Beijing to be unveiled “soon” will put China decades ahead of the rest of the world in hypersonic technology.

Chinese Academy of Sciences researcher Han Guilai told an online lecture last week that the JF-22 wind tunnel, in Beijing’s Huairou district, was capable of simulating flights at up to 10km per second – 30 times the speed of sound. Together with an existing facility, also in Beijing, it would put China “about 20 to 30 years ahead” of the West.

Mexican Cartels Respond To AMLO's "Hugs, Not Bullets" By Hunting Down, Torturing, And Executing Cops At Their Homes

BY TYLER DURDEN
MONDAY, MAY 31, 2021 - 09:00 PM
After Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) attempted to combat cartels through peaceful means - namely his "hugs, not bullets" campaign to appease criminal organizations, the notoriously violent Jalisco cartel responded by kidnapping several members of an elite police force in the state of Guanajuato, torturing them to obtain the names and addresses of other cops, and is now hunting them down and killing them at their own homes, "on their days off, in front of their families," according to the Associated Press.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unfortunately, what Obrador will not do, is break the financial backs of the cartels, by legalizing every drug upon which they depend to make their profit, and make them available through legal distribution units.

Yes, I do know that some poor souls will get horrifically hooked on some of that product; but is that really going to be worse than the situation going on in Mexico at this time?!?

I remember, many years ago, going down to the Mexican border for day trips; I would not go to ANY place in Mexico right now, because of the blatant, in- your -face, violence occuring at the moment, with no end in sight.

Turkey Prepares A Syrian Diversion For Its Internal Strife

By South Front,

A Turkish operation in northeastern Syria may be brewing, if recent developments are an indication. On May 28th, the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) announced that it had eliminated the mastermind behind ISIS assassinations in the region, in a joint operation with the “Free Syrian Police.”

As a result of these revelations, Turkey’s leadership is feeling a sense of urgency. There were allegations of high-level phone tapping and more, alongside the illicit weapon and drug trade. As such, the focus needs to be shifted quickly outside of Turkey and what better way than to organize a sort of crisis in the north of Syria?

MEMORIAL DAY - WALTER LEWIS SMITH

So, this week, in between the sporting events and the barbecues, take a moment to look at the flag for what it used to represent rather than the globally hated symbol it has since become. Consider all those in your family who risked and sometimes lost all in America's wars, and decide for yourself how they would feel about the government of this nation as it exists today.

Our Covert Regime Change Wars

The U.S. presents itself as the builder and enforcer of an international order defined by the rules and institutions created in the wake of WWII. While the U.S. frequently violates those rules, international law still constrains how the U.S. has operated in the world. Even when pursuing regime change, the U.S. has felt constrained by the principle of nonintervention to conceal its role in toppling foreign governments when there is no legal excuse readily available. That is the core argument of Michael Poznansky’s “In the Shadow of International Law: Secrecy and Regime Change in the Postwar World.”

War Dead are Victims, Not Heroes

Monday May 31 is Memorial Day in the US-

Memorial Day normalizes war, the same war that Satanists have waged against God and man for centuries.

All wars are psyops. COVID is far from their largest psy-op. It's small potatoes compared to World War One, World War Two, the Cold War, Korea, and Vietnam. All of these were staged by Illuminati bankers to degrade and destroy Christian civilization and to sacrifice millions of humans to Satan. If we consider the war dead as "heroes" rather than victims of a diabolical conspiracy, we are not honoring them. We are condoning their murder.

I urge you to watch this interview with Professor Anthony Sutton. In it, he explains that Wall Street financed Hitler and the Nazi war machine and provided indispensable technology. Wall Street also funded the Bolshevik revolution, literally built the USSR and supplied it with nuclear bomb technology.

Houthi Rebels Destroy M1 Abrams Tanks With Basic Iranian Guided Missiles

The video below shows what are said to be Houthi rebels in Yemen using anti-tank guided missiles to destroy American-made, Saudi Arabian-owned and operated Abrams M1 main battle tanks. The M1 is world renowned as one of, if not the finest main battle tanks in service, yet this video is clear reminder of how vulnerable even they can be to rudimentary anti-tank guided missiles.

This video is graphic in nature and shows a real-world battlefield engagement that could have resulted in loss of life. Viewer discretion is advised.

73,846 US Soldiers Dead from both Gulf Wars, How they manipulated the numbers to fool you

Department of Veterans Affairs Reports 73 Thousand U.S. Gulf War Deaths.

More Gulf War Veterans have died than Vietnam Veterans. This probably is news to you. But the truth has been hidden by a technicality. So here is the truth.

The casualties in the Vietnam War were pretty simple to understand. If a soldier was dead from his combat tour, he was a war casualty. There are 58,195 names recorded on the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, DC.

But something odd has happened with the Iraq War. The government, under the Bush administration, did something dishonest that resulted in a lie that’s persisted since the war began — and continues to this very day. They decided to report the war deaths in Iraq only if the soldier died with his boots on the ground in a combat situation.

Pentagon Special Forces nominee says US should ‘strongly consider’ training Taiwanese guerillas against ‘Chinese invasion’

US President Joe Biden’s nominee to oversee the Special Forces said officials should “strongly consider” deploying American commandos to Taiwan, where they could school local troops on how to deter a potential “Chinese invasion.”

Christopher Maier – who’s been tapped to be the assistant secretary of defense for special operations and low-intensity conflict – told lawmakers this week that special operators could be sent to the island to instruct Taiwanese forces on irregular warfare and resisting an “amphibious landing” by Beijing.

“I do think that is something that we should be considering strongly as we think about competition across the span of different capabilities we can apply, [special operations forces] being a key contributor to that,” Maier told Senator Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) at an Armed Services Committee hearing on Thursday, when asked about ways to deter “Chinese aggression.”

Bump in the road: NATO drills in Estonia plagued by 3rd incident in just a week

An armored carrier ran off the road into a ditch during NATO drills in Estonia, leaving two people injured. As the military exercise enters its final phase, this marks the third incident in just a week.

According to local media citing the police department, the armored carrier ran off the road into a ditch in northeastern Estonia. Two men, including the driver, have been hospitalized in the town of Rakvere.

Earlier on Wednesday, a military vehicle caught fire after it hit an overhead power line with its antenna. Three people were injured as a result.

“The conscripts were taken to a health check at the East-Viru general hospital. Two of the conscripts received first aid and were allowed to return to their unit. One young man was left under medical care due to burns,” a spokesman from the Estonian defense forces said.

Get these men a map: Stray US soldiers RAID Bulgarian plant making biofuel equipment in bungled exercise (VIDEO)

The US Embassy in Sofia has apologized for an accidental raid conducted by American soldiers at a Bulgarian engineering plant earlier this month. It happened amid a NATO military exercise.

The brief armed incursion happened on May 11, while Bulgaria was hosting US and other allied soldiers participating in the Swift Response exercise. However, the Bulgarian public only learned about it on Friday, after the owner of the raided factory spoke to national media.

Footage from the factory’s security cameras showed seven US soldiers armed with assault rifles and moving in fire teams to secure the facility, with no resistance from the workers. After finding no ‘enemy’ combatants, the Americans left.

The United States Is a Serial Nuclear Aggressor Whose Moral Bankruptcy Threatens World Peace

The United States is a serial nuclear aggressor whose veneer of supposed virtue is a thin and increasingly transparent disguise for moral bankruptcy.

More than 60 years ago, American military chiefs were closer than previously known to dropping atomic bombs on China over a relatively minor crisis with the renegade territory of Taiwan. The new revelations came from veteran whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg who worked as a nuclear weapons strategist at the Rand Corporation and at the Pentagon during the 1950s and 60s.

Ellsberg was the source of the famous Pentagon Papers which he leaked 50 years ago exposing the official U.S. lies about its criminal involvement in the Vietnam War during the 1960s and 70s.

Marines Take Fight to the Sea, Targeting China Dollars

Around this time last year, the United States Marine Corps announced a sweeping modernization and reorganization of their force. Guided by the vision of their newly appointed commandant, General David H. Berger, the service signaled it would be ditching many legacy weapon systems and trimming down on personnel and units in order to reorient themselves for future near-peer competition. Read: China. Force design, the scale and scope of the service, was the Commandant’s number one stated priority.

On April 1, Breaking Defense released an exclusive article outlining the yet to be released 180-page Tentative Manual for Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations. This document provides numerous details lacking in last year’s guidance and a roadmap that terminates in 2030. The plan is to create “small, agile units tasked with air defense, anti-ship and submarine warfare, and seizing, holding and resupplying small temporary bases as part of an island-hopping campaign in the Pacific.”

AI is the ‘one ring to rule them all’, but don’t worry about ‘killer robots’, UK general says

Mastering artificial intelligence would give the UK a decisive military edge, a top British general has argued, while stressing that the technology should be used to support, rather than threaten, human life.

Unlocking the potential of AI will be critical to the development of emerging military technology, and it would be “mad” for the UK not to try to become a leader in the field, General Sir Patrick Sanders, the head of Britain’s Strategic Command, told the Telegraph in an interview.

“Of all the new technologies, the one ring to rule them all is AI,” he told the paper.

Advanced machine learning would allow computers to quickly parse and react to information using minimal human intervention, technology that is particularly attractive to the military because it creates the possibility of “better decision making,” the general explained. He added that advanced AI technology also opens the door to “the opportunity to begin to develop autonomy.”

MEMORIAL DAY - WALTER LEWIS SMITH

Like everyone, I have a great number of military people in the family tree. If you go back far enough, there are crusaders and even a Templar in the Rivero woodpile. More recently, on my mother's side of the family, ancestors fought in every major American war, including the Civil war (on both sides). As we celebrate Memorial Day, I am going to tell you about just one warrior; one I had the privilege to actually know and even briefly live with when I was younger. His name was Walter Lewis Smith and he was my maternal grandfather. He fought in WWI.

7 cops questioned over shooting of Sheikh Jarrah girl in back with sponge round

Police Internal Investigation Department suspends 3 officers for 1-2 weeks; clip shows girl, 16, shot as she enters her East Jerusalem home and a stun grenade is then thrown inside.

Seven police officers were questioned under caution on Wednesday and three of them were suspended over an incident last week in which a sponge-tipped bullet was shot into the back of a Palestinian teenage girl in East Jerusalem as she was obeying a cop’s order to go back into her home?

In footage first aired by Kan news, Janna Kiswani, 16, and several of her relatives can be seen stepping out of the door of their home in the flashpoint neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah on May 18, as a protest was held nearby.

Palestine’s Moment: Despite Massive Losses, Palestinians Have Altered the Course of History

The rational answer was, and remains, that only the Palestinian people will determine the nature, scope and direction of their collective action. Popular revolts are not the outcome of wishful thinking but of circumstances, the tipping point of which can only be decided by the people themselves.

May 2021 was that very tipping point. Palestinians rose in unison from Jerusalem to Gaza, to every inch of occupied Palestine, including Palestinian refugee communities throughout the Middle East and, by doing so, they also resolved an impossible political equation. The Palestinian "problem" was no longer that of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem alone, but also of Israeli racism and apartheid which have targeted the Palestinian communities inside Israel. Further, it was also the crisis of leadership and the deep-seated factionalism and political corruption.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel had a real problem here, as it was thoroughly incapable of controlling the narrative, and the horrific reality of the day-to-day lives of Palestinians, courtesy of an apartheid theocracy, bristling with nukes, became headline news around the world.

“America First” Conservatives Declare: “Actually, We Meant Israel First”

Whenever these rote recitations are systematically rolled out — “stand with” blah blah blah, “right to defend” blah blah blah — you can bet that the person doing the reciting has barely bothered to give any original thought to the wider conflict, including the role of the United States. Rather, his or her intention is to affirm blanket approval for anything the Israeli military wants to do. These slogans are not responsive to the question of whether it’s defensible for the Israeli military to flatten entire apartment buildings in densely-packed areas using provisions furnished by US taxpayers, or decimate entire residential blocks into rubble. The “right to defend itself” mantra just glosses over all that, reducing the whole matter to a kind of meaningless nostrum.

NATO Chief Says Afghan Military Strong Enough to Stand on Their Own

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Thursday that he believes the Afghan military will be able to stand on its own against the Taliban after US, NATO, and other coalition forces leave Afghanistan.

Before President Biden ordered the withdrawal of troops out of Afghanistan, Stoltenberg was busy looking for reasons to stay. He frequently said the Afghan government would fall without Western troops in the country, but now Stoltenberg is changing his tune.

“I think that the Afghans, they also realize that we have been there now for 20 years and we have invested heavily in blood and treasure in Afghanistan,” Stoltenberg said in an interview with The Associated Press.

“Afghanistan has come a long way, both when it comes to building strong, capable security forces, but also when it comes to social and economic progress. At some stage, it has to be the Afghans that take full responsibility for peace and stability in their own country,” he said

Webmaster's Commentary:

Will someone, gently, please, take the cotton out of Stoltenberg's ears, and the veil from over his eyes, through which he is looking at the situation on the ground in Afghanistan?!?

What he is saying, is pure geopolitical bull-biscuits, and I would like to hope that at some level, he knows it is.

Afghanistan hasn't been called "the graveyard or empires" for utterly no reaon; the English and Russians found that out, the hard way. The last guy who was able to hold it together, was Alexander the Great, and only lasted for 3 years.

When the US and NATO pull out, I expect to see a spate of Taliban attacks against its puppet government, and for them to become politically resurgent.
I would love for events on the ground to prove me wrong, but I sincerely don't think they will.

General Flynn Believes COVID Was A "Weaponized Operation" By China

“We’ve had over a year of people all over the world having to answer tough questions,” Flynn said during an interview on 1320 AM WJAS.

America's Lone Carrier In Asia-Pacific Will Depart Region For Afghan Troop Withdrawal

Currently the sole US aircraft carrier based out of the Asian-Pacific, specifically with a home port in Yokosuka, Japan, is the USS Ronald Reagan - but it's now set to depart the region for the first time in years in preparation for the complete withdrawal of US troops in Afghanistan.

Pentagon officials told The Wall Street Journal the new carrier mission will see the Reagan depart Asian-Pacific waters this summer in support of ensuring a safe US troop exit from Afghanistan by the time of Biden's Sept. 11 deadline. There's growing concern that given Americans are now staying well past the previously agreed upon May 1st exit (based on the prior deal under the Trump White House), departing soldiers could face severe Taliban attacks, a scenario which is more likely the longer they stay. But now Congressional hawks worry about the glaring "gap" to be created should ongoing tensions with China escalate.

What Lies Beneath: President Biden’s Deceptive Acknowledgment of the Armenian Genocide

Op-Ed by David Boyajian

President Biden’s April 24 statement acknowledging the Armenian Genocide (1915–1923+) carried out by Turkey was welcome but flawed. Indeed, “Turkey” appears nowhere in the document. Moreover, the State Department swiftly undermined Biden’s virtuous-sounding words.

American acknowledgment of the Armenian Genocide isn’t even new. The U.S. House has passed several resolutions on the Genocide. And a nearly unanimous Congress did so in 2019.

Presidents going back to Woodrow Wilson have described the Armenian ordeals with language such as: an effort to exterminate all Armenians; terrible massacres; mass killings; death marches; and an ancient [Armenian] homeland was erased. If these don’t describe genocide, the word is meaningless...

Army Mulls Returning to Gendered Fitness Standards over Complaints of 'Lopsided' ACFT

The Army is considering adding gender-specific standards to its new Army Combat Fitness Test, or ACFT, after early data shows nearly half of female soldiers can't pass the test and might face being removed from service once it becomes official next year.

Service officials, including Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Grinston, testified before a House Appropriations Committee subpanel Monday that scores may end up being separated by gender to identify the 1st, 10th, 25th and 50th percentile of soldiers.

In practice, this could mean men and women still would have to meet the same standards but would not be compared to one another. Physical fitness scores are heavily considered in promotions, especially in combat-arms jobs such as infantry and cavalry.

Britain’s New Flagship to Lead a Carrier Group Into China’s Missile Kill Zone in First Deployment

The UK is sending its new aircraft carrier, the HMS Queen Elizabeth, to the Indo-Pacific region this month to send a message to Beijing. On Friday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the deployment will show China that the UK believes in the “international law of the sea.”

The US and its allies have been accusing China of threatening the so-called “rules-based order.” One example the West points to is Beijing’s claims in the South China Sea, which the US challenges with dangerous military provocations by frequently sailing warships near Chinese-controlled islands.

The HMS Queen Elizabeth is expected to sail through the South China Sea while in the region. The aircraft carrier will be leading a large naval strike group that will be the largest British Navy deployment since the 1982 Falklands War. A US Navy destroyer will also join the British ships.

Air Force Could Ditch Oldest F-35 Jets as Part of Fighter Downsizing, General Says

The U.S. Air Force could retire some of its older-model F-35 Joint Strike Fighters, which are used for training, over the next decade in favor of acquiring the most advanced variants of the jet, according to a top general.

Older versions of the premier stealth jet may be retired instead of receiving expensive upgrades to keep them viable for a future conflict, said Lt. Gen. S. Clinton Hinote, the Air Force's deputy chief of staff for strategy, integration and requirements.

"It's not in our plans right now, but that would be something that we would have to take into consideration," he said in an interview Tuesday. "Because the big question is, 'Are we going to go back and retrofit [them]?'

"Retrofit cost is a key consideration for, 'Do we want to take training jets that are older [software] blocks and upgrade them to new blocks?'" Hinote said. "Are we maybe overinvested in training tails? There are some indications that maybe we are."

Congress won't end the wars, so states must

Congress has abandoned our soldiers.

Two years have passed since the release of the Afghanistan Papers, revealing that no one in charge — at any point over the last two decades — has ever held a clear idea as to why our soldiers must die in these aimless, costly wars. Yet Congress, following the lead of the Cheneys and the Clintons, fights to maintain the status quo.

Congress is useless, but the states have proven they are not; in recent years, states have nullified a wide range of unlawful federal policies, from FDA regulations against investigational drugs, to cannabis prohibition, to gun control. There is no reason states cannot also apply Thomas Jefferson’s “rightful remedy” and nullify unconstitutional foreign policy by passing “Defend the Guard” (DTG) legislation. Proposed this year in 31 states, DTG invokes state authority to order home the tens of thousands of National Guardsmen currently deployed in any war that Congress has not formally declared.

Senators threaten to cut the Pentagon’s allowance if it can’t pass an audit next year

In an act of bipartisanship that is as rare as a Chief Warrant Officer 5 sighting, a group of senators from both sides of the aisle are proposing a new incentive to get the Pentagon to finally pass an audit: Punishment.

The Audit the Pentagon Act of 2021 would require any Defense Department component that fails an audit next fiscal year to forfeit 1% of its budget, which would be returned to the U.S. Treasury Department.

The bill is co-sponsored by Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), and Mike Lee (R-Utah).

Apparently you can steal $1 million from the Air Force and it takes them 3 years to find out

Crime doesn’t pay, at least not in the long run. That’s what Eddie Ray Johnson Jr., 60, a former civilian Air Force employee, found out last week when he pleaded guilty to the federal charge of theft of government property. The charges were in connection with Johnson using his government-issued travel credit card to steal more than $1.1 million in cash advances, according to the Department of Justice.

“Eddie Johnson betrayed his position of trust for his personal gain,” said Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland Jonathan F. Lenzner in a press release on Wednesday. “Corrupt public employees rip off the taxpayers and undermine everyone’s faith in the government.”

Biden: End Your Co-Belligerent Backing of Israeli War Crimes

As Senator, Vice President, and now President, your self-promoted/displayed empathy has a problem. You can’t seem to connect the Israeli military powerhouse’s occupation to the oppression and destruction of innocent Palestinian civilians, illegal seizure of Palestinian land/water, and daily violations of U.S. and international law. Israel’s military is deliberately bombing these families, the offices of American media, international medical facilities, and many local hospitals and water and electricity facilities with fighter jets and missiles made in America.

To know about what is happening daily, you do not need to rely on the evidence compiled by the U.S. mainstream media or foreign reporters on the ground in Gaza or your own intelligence agencies, just take it from the Israeli media and Israelis themselves.

‘She Was Too Vocal’: Outrage Grows over AP Journalist Fired for Pro-Palestine Views

The Associated Press news agency has faced fierce criticism from journalists and academics for sacking a newly graduated news associate over her pro-Palestinian activism while at university.

Emily Wilder, a Jewish American who graduated from Stanford University last year, started her position at AP on 3 May. Just 16 days later, she was fired.

Wilder was told that her dismissal, announced in an AP staff memo that has been widely shared online, was over a violation of the company’s social media policy.

Speaking to Middle East Eye, the news agency confirmed that she was dismissed for violations of AP’s social media policy, stating that the violations had occurred “during her time at AP”.

While the agency did not explain which posts in question may have violated the policy – just that she had “showed clear bias” – Wilder has said that she is certain it was the opinions she shared on Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory that led to her sacking.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Well, we know now who utterly owns AP's coverage of the Middle East!!

US Seeks ‘Equal Security’ for Israelis and Palestinians Amid Gaza's 'Grave' Humanitarian Situation

US President Joe Biden hailed the Egypt-mediated ceasefire reached between Israel and Hamas on Thursday after 11 days of violence, underscoring that Palestinians and Israelis “equally deserve" to live safely and securely, enjoying "equal measures of freedom", while assuring Tel Aviv of "full support" to help it "replenish" its Iron Dome system.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken credited the “relentless, determined, but quiet diplomacy” of Joe Biden’s administration with brokering the unconditional ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which came into force on 21 May.

The truce, coming after 11 days that witnessed the most deadly spiral of violence the region had seen in years, was “critical” to allow the US “to make a pivot to building something more positive”, stated Blinken, appearing on ABC News on Sunday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Take a look at the images accompanying this story; this was a total, deliberate, devastation of Gaza.

Children sleeping on the streets; residences massively turned to rubble. No clean water. No medicine; no food; only chaos and destruction.

And BTW, Secretary Blinken; Egypt facilitied and negotiated the cease-fire, NOT the bloody USA, which, under Biden's watch, has become the United States... of Amnesia!!!!

And Mr. Secretary, my last comment here is, that those who do not understand the lessons of history.... are doomed to repeat them.

In pictures: Palestinians return to piles of rubble following Gaza ceasefire

After a ceasefire came into effect in the early hours of Friday morning, Palestinians poured onto rubble-filled streets across Gaza as they returned to see what was left of their homes after 11 days of aerial bombardment by Israel (All photos by Mohammed al-Hajjar/MEE).

The Israeli air strikes, which killed at least 243 Palestinians including including 66 children and 39 women, wiped out entire residential buildings.

The hardline Israelis stoking violence in East Jerusalem

Sheikh Jarrah, Occupied East Jerusalem – A surreal, and almost bucolic, atmosphere encompassed the occupied East Jerusalem suburb of Sheikh Jarrah on a recent morning as an Israeli settler and a Palestinian sat on armchairs under an old fig tree surrounded by picturesque stone houses, discussing the ongoing violence in the presence of an Israeli TV crew.

For several weeks the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood was a pivotal point in an ongoing battle in which dozens of Palestinian families are fighting to remain in the homes they lived in for generations as they face possible forced expulsion by Israeli authorities to make way for Israeli settlers, a move illegal under international law.

There are several Israeli settler movements involved in pushing for Jewish worshippers to be allowed to pray at Al-Aqsa, reinforcing Palestinian fears that Islam’s third-holiest site could follow the route of the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron in the southern West Bank.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Restoring a temple, when it is soaking in the blood of those previously worshipping on the site at a mosque, seems rather.... draconian.

Social media campaign counters Israeli war narrative that 'both sides are suffering'

A social media campaign launched by pro-Palestinian activists is seeking to counter Israel’s war narrative that presents the situation within Israel as equally unbearable as violence in Gaza, amid growing attempts to silence Palestinian content on social media.

Videos circulating on Twitter under the hashtag #unmutepalestine have sought to show the stark contrast between the recent bloodshed in Gaza, where an 11-day airstrike campaign killed over 200 people, and living conditions inside the Israeli territories neighbouring the enclave.

Meanwhile, the UN chief Antonio Guterres said he was “deeply shocked by the continued air and artillery bombardment by the Israeli Defense Forces in Gaza.”

“If there is a hell on earth, it is the lives of children in Gaza today,” he said.

Israel-Palestine: The girl who showed the world the suffering of Gaza's children

The video of 10-year-old Palestinian Nadine Abdullatif, tearful and devastated as she stands in front of the newly obliterated remains of her neighbour's home, has now been viewed more than 13 million times.

"You see all of this?" she asks, eyes red, gesturing at the rubble behind her. "What do you expect me to do? Fix it? I'm only 10."

Her voice breaks with emotion. "I just want to be a doctor or anything to help my people, but I can't. I'm just a kid."

The internet carried images of the recent spate of violence around the world over the past two weeks, as Israel once again dropped bombs on Gaza, a small stretch of land that is home to more than two million people - 40 percent of whom are under 14.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Anyone with a conscience and a heart, cannot help but be moved by these, and other images, coming out of Gaza right now.

How To Possibly Start A War With Russia: Let Ukraine Join NATO

During a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy recently, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the U.S. was, “actively looking at” strengthening security cooperation with Ukraine. In Washington, White House spokesman Karine Jean-Pierre, asked if Ukraine would be invited into NATO, said the U.S. is “committed to ensuring that NATO’s door remains open to aspirants.” Ukraine, however, is not a U.S. ally, is not a member of NATO, and Washington should stop pretending they are.

Being clear on that point could keep us out of an unwanted, unnecessary, and destructive war with Russia.

Blinken: No Sign Iran Will Accept Demands for Sanction Relief

Secretary of State Tony Blinken downplayed the chances of nuclear progress with Iran on Sunday, saying the US has seen no sign Iran will comply with the assorted US demands related to sanctions relief.

To be clear, Iran was complying with the terms of the nuclear deal for years, and has said they will do so again if the US meets its sanctions relief obligations. The US has made no effort to do this, and is demanding Iran go first in meeting all US requirements before any of Iran’s needs are discussed.

All of this gives the impression that this is a deal the US doesn’t really intend to make, and is being orchestrated such that they can try to sell the non-deal as purely Iran’s fault.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What Israel wants, from US foreign policy, Israel gets; please don't forget that, if we start seeing mushroom clouds over Tehran in the not too distant future.

Apparently, no one in the current US or Israeli administration is at all, even noddingly familiar, with Sun Tzu's "Art of War"; should such a US/Israeli war hit Iran, these Iranians will be fighting for the existence of their homeland.

NATO to Train Afghan Military Outside Country After Withdrawal

As the US and NATO are withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, the Western powers are still hoping to maintain influence in the country. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Friday that the military alliance will train Afghan forces outside of Afghanistan after NATO troops leave.

“We are planning to provide military education and training outside Afghanistan, focusing on Special Operations Forces,” Stoltenberg told reporters in Paris. He said the alliance will provide “advice and capacity-building support” as well as “continued financial support” to the Afghan military.

The US military is currently working out what its post-withdrawal plans in Afghanistan will look like. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley has said that training Afghan forces in another country is an option under consideration.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is an utter pipedream, on the part of NATO, and I use that term advisedly.

Once the occupation is over, the Taliban will reconquer the entire country, and not one self-described "metric of success" from the invasion and occupation of this country will ever be realized, period, end of discussion.
Biden is not "ending" the occupation; he is merely rebranding it, and Americans need to be paying attention to why this is happening.

Israeli Minister Threatens ‘Preemptive’ Strikes Against Hamas in Gaza

An Israeli minister from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party said Israel would start “preemptively” attacking targets in Gaza before Hamas or other groups launch rockets towards Israeli territory.

“We cannot wait for rocket fire [to respond in Gaza],” said Tzachi Hanegbi in an interview with Israel’s Channel 13. He said if Hamas is rearming or preparing rockets that it would be “cause for Israeli strikes” in Gaza. “This is a total change of the equation. We’ve never done this,” he said.

Hanegbi’s comments come after Israel’s 11-day bombing campaign in Gaza, which concluded on Friday after a ceasefire was reached. The Israeli bombardment killed 248 Palestinians, including 66 children. In Israel, 12 people were killed by rockets launched from Gaza, including two children.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, Minister Tzachi Hanegbi, pre-emptive attacks against Hamas are going to help the cease fire to hold..... how, please?!?

Or is this just another Israeli excuse for genocide against the Palestinians?!?

Just checking, sir!

As Seeming Consensus Hardens for Cold – or Even Hot – War Against China: It Becomes Ever More Important to Fight for Peace

What a difference a presidential campaign and deadly pandemic make. Although the U.S. and People’s Republic of China long had been at odds over important issues, the bilateral relationship remained civil if not always friendly. Despite occasional spats, no one imagined a cold war, let alone actual hostilities. But 2020 changed everything. Today the possibility of conflict is on many Americans’ minds.

Scaremongering is pushing Washington toward conflict with Beijing. Observed Luo: "In recent decades, the defense industry has perfected this rhetoric to make the case for war on China. Republicans and Democrats – including both President Biden and even our most progressive members of Congress – amplify the warmongering and push for increased defense spending."

Webmaster's Commentary:

US infrastructure is rotting in place; homeless Vets sleep rough in our streets, and the only way the DC "foggy-bottomites" can think to fix it is.... more war?!?

After the debacles which have been Iraq and Afghanistan?!?

You have GOT to be flipping kidding me!!!

We don't have the weaponry; we don't have the troop strength; we don't have the manufacturing or the money to engage in any more major wars, thank you very much.

This country is broke, and broken, post-Covid, and post the wars that have failed, utterly and miserably, by any possible metric, to have achieved their alledged objectives.

Yet the antidote fo this collective and collossal failure of imagination.... is more wars?!?

Does anyone in DC recognise just how unalterably stupid that sounds, in the face of both the US's (and China's) economic challenges?!?

Iran Blocks Inspectors From Accessing Nuclear Site Images As Vienna Deal Looms

It appears that Iran may be applying some last-minute leverage just ahead of the final round of nuclear talks in Vienna, and at a moment it's being widely reported that the main parties, including the US, are on the cusp of agreeing on a deal as final documents are being drafted. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf on Sunday announced that IAEA inspectors will no longer have access to surveillance images of the country's nuclear sites.

"From May 22 and with the end of the three-month agreement, the agency will have no access to data collected by cameras inside the nuclear facilities agreed under the agreement," Qalibaf said as announced in state television.

Unfortunately, the short answer is, anything they think they can get away with, including remote bombing of Iran's nuclear sites.

New Concerns Rise Over The Pentagon Being Dominated By 'Wokeism'

The dismissal of a Space Force commander for comments on two podcasts, in which he raised concerns that critical race theory is being promoted in the military, has triggered the outrage of GOP members of Congress.

Critical race theory holds that systemic racism is part of American society and that historical prejudice influences the way minorities are treated today.

In a letter Wednesday to Chief of Space Operations Gen. Jay Raymond and acting Air Force Secretary John Roth, two dozen members of Congress called for the reinstatement of Lt. Cmdr. Matthew Lohmeier. They wrote that "promoting critical race theory will disrupt the good order and discipline of the Space Force and eviscerate our nation's ability to attract patriotic talent to serve in uniform and fight our wars."

B-52s Simultaneously Operate in Europe, Middle East, and Indo-Pacific Theaters

B-52s deployed to Morón Air Base, Spain, on May 17 for a bomber task force deployment, making Europe the third area of operations where Stratofortresses are operating.

The bomber task force of B-52s from the 2nd Bomb Wing at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, will participate in joint and allied training in both Europe and Africa. B-52s are also deployed to the Middle East for combat operations out of Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, and there also is a task force of B-52s deployed to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.

Lawmakers Demand Reinstatement of Space Force Officer Who Was Removed for Denouncing Critical Race Theory

A group of Republican lawmakers sent a letter to the acting secretary of the U.S. Space Force on May 19, urging him to immediately reinstate a lieutenant colonel who was relieved of his command after publishing a book that warned of the spread of Marxism and critical race theory (CRT) in the military.

Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, a former instructor and fighter pilot, was relieved as commander of the 11th Space Warning Squadron “due to loss of trust and confidence in his ability to lead,” a Defense Department official told CNN on May 14.

Pentagon Aims to Partner With ADL And SPLC, Spy On Military Members For 'Extremism'

The Pentagon under Biden-appointed Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is working to partner with the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League and spy on members of the military for signs of "extremism," according to documents leaked to The Intercept.

The ADL has been at the forefront of internet censorship and criminalizing speech as "hate" while the disgraced SPLC is best known for aggressive fundraising and compiling a "hate map" of "extremist" Christians and conservatives which left-wing extremists use as a hit list.

U.S. And Its Allies Try to Split the World in Two

America’s response to the increasing economic success of China and other nations that until recent decades were impoverished former colonies is to organize its own allies — especially the English-speaking countries — to become a totally separate global economic trading and military alliance standing against that “third world” — and thereby force all non-aligned nations to have to either choose to be allied with the United States or else become conquered by the U.S. and its allies. It’s “Us,” or “Them,” all the way. The top “enemies” (the “Them”) are the same countries that America and its allies were against during the anti-communist Cold War, Russia and China, even though Russia is no longer communist, and China has become a mixture between communism and capitalism.

America has on its side Saudi Arabia, Israel, Qatar, UAE, and all four of the fascist nations during World War II: Germany, Japan, Italy, and Spain — as well as many other nations.

Netanyahu Says "Conquering" Gaza An Option As Touted 'Imminent' Ceasefire In Doubt

On the very day that Biden phoned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to urge de-escalation in Gaza, which the US President said would set the stage for a ceasefire with Hamas, the Israeli leader told a group of foreign ambassadors that the only solution might be to "conquer" the Gaza Strip.

"There are only two ways that you can deal with them," he said about Hamas during the Wednesday briefing held in Tel Aviv. "You can either conquer them, and that's always an open possibility, or you can deter them, and we are engaged right now in forceful deterrence, but I have to say we don't rule out anything."

He made the comments Wednesday, while separately he had received the call from President Biden wherein he was told Israel must de-escalate its military campaign "today". By all accounts that did not appear to happen as the death toll into Thursday topped 230, with over 1,700 wounded. On the Israeli side 12 of its civilians have died from rocket fire out of Gaza.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder, just what Netanyahu means by "conquering Gaza"?!?

Just how many Gazans will need to be assassinated, in order for that to happen, for Netanyahu?!?

Inside The Biden Administration’s Devious Plan To Purge Conservatives From The U.S. Military

If you are currently a member of the U.S. military and you would like to keep your job, you may want to delete all of your social media accounts. We have just learned that the Pentagon is going to begin monitoring the social media accounts of the men and women that are serving in the military with the goal of identifying “extremist content”. And as you will see below, those that get labeled as “extremists” are in danger of being permanently relieved from duty. Not only is this fundamentally un-American, this radical new approach also threatens to permanently shift the culture of the U.S. military dramatically to the left. Even if a Republican is elected president in the next election, the U.S. military will never be the same after a relentless political purge that lasts for four long years.

Ten Year Old Palestinian Girl Crying in Desperation; A Ten-Year Old Gaza Girl Testifies about Israeli Atrocities; A 14-year-old Boy Commits Suicide after Losing his Entire Family and Dad and Mom by Israeli Murders

I don't know what to do."

A 10-year-old Palestinian girl breaks down while talking to MEE after Israeli air strikes destroyed her neighbour's house, killing 8 children and 2 women.

And this is the story of a 14-year-old Palestinian boy – who has successively lost his entire family, two brothers and dad – and now his mom – to Israeli war criminals. He commits suicide in despair:

Fourteen-year-old Palestinian child in Gaza committed suicide!

Hamza threw himself from the 8th floor last night.

Hamza lost his entire family in the recent wars on Gaza.

In 2009, his little brother was killed by an Israeli missile while playing football.

In the 2012, his older brother was killed.

In 2014, his father was killed.

Due to this severe trauma, Hamza became very close to his mother, his last surviving family member, who was killed in an Israeli bombing this week.

Shortly after, he ended his life.

“Today we are Nazis,” says member of Israeli Jewish extremist group

Israeli Jewish extremists used instant messaging services to organize armed militias to attack Palestinian citizens of Israel.

Voice messages, texts and other communications indicate they coordinated attacks in cities where Palestinians live in close proximity to Jews – including Haifa, Bat Yam and Tiberias in the north, and Ramla and Lydd – Lod in Hebrew – in the center, to Beersheba in southern Israel.

Settlers from Jewish-only colonies in the occupied West Bank also joined the coordinated attacks, with the apparent knowledge and collusion of Israeli officials.

They communicated via WhatsApp and Telegram, as well as Facebook groups.

In many cases, extremist organizers said they relied on either the active or passive support of Israeli authorities.

Israeli research organizations Fake Reporter and HaBloc intercepted messages from some of those groups and reported what they found to Israeli police as a “ticking time-bomb.”

Will Biden Stay in Bibi’s Pocket?

How about now? Will he see President Biden as a wimp, with Biden’s mealy-mouthed comment to Netanyahu earlier today that Biden "expects to see a significant de-escalation today on the path to a ceasefire" in Gaza.

If past is precedent, Netanyahu’s likely response will be a half-polite, "Joe, please take that and shove it … and oh, by the way, I meant to thank you for your proposed sale of $735 million-worth of smart bombs a couple of weeks ago. It came at just the right time for me."

Here’s Why

Netanyahu thought the camera/sound was off 20 years ago, when he spoke with unspeakable candor to a small private group, explaining, "America is a thing that can be easily moved … moved in the right direction. They [Americans] will not bother us."

Translation (based on the subtitles) follows, with Netanyahu in bold.

"The Arabs now are preparing a campaign [war] of terror, and they think that this will break us.

"The main thing is, first and foremost, to hit them hard.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Netanyahu is playing Biden for a complete fool; any attack against Iran (and I am sure that the IDF and MOSSAD have several competing scenarios for making this happen,) will potentially lead to a broader regional war, which could well translate into a world war right now.

What is behind Israel’s targeting of prominent buildings in Gaza?

Israel’s attacks on Gaza’s civilian buildings are an attempt to demoralise Palestinians and weaken their resolve.

Rami Aldraimli watched in disbelief as the building he had worked in for more than 20 years came crashing down.

Following a missile “warning”, Israeli fighter jets late on Tuesday afternoon bombed al-Awqaf building, the latest structure to be targeted by Israel during its relentless 10-day offensive on the besieged Gaza Strip.

The five-storey building in western Gaza City housed a number of offices, including of Mashareq, one of Gaza’s oldest and most prominent media production firms.

“It wasn’t just a company,” Aldraimli, Mashareq’s 43-year-old executive director, said. “It’s a dream I’ve been working on, building it up until we had 60 employees.”

Ex-Israeli Pilot: ‘Our Army Is a Terrorist Organisation Run by War Criminals’

A former Israeli Air Force pilot, Yonatan Shapira, has described the Israeli government and army as “terrorist organisations” run by “war criminals.”

Captain Shapira who had resigned from the Israeli army in 2003 at the height of the Palestinian Second Intifada explained in an exclusive interview with Anadolu News Agency why he realized after joining the army that he was “part of a terrorist organisation”.

I realised during the Second Intifada what the Israeli Air Force and Israeli military are doing are war crimes, terrorising a population of millions of Palestinians. When I realised that, I decided to not just leave but to organise other pilots that will publicly refuse to take part in these crimes, he said.

“As a child in Israel, you are being brought up in very strong Zionist militaristic education. You don’t know almost anything about Palestine, you don’t know about the 1948 Nakba, you don’t know about ongoing oppression,” Shapira said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel may well be creating a 3rd intifada, but this time.... it may be a little more difficult to "control", no matter how many women, children, and the fragile medically elderly the IDF assassinates with impunity.

Time To End the Silence on Israel’s Nuclear Weapons

On April 28, Israel’s intelligence minister, Eli Cohen, repeated the Israeli threat that should the U.S. re-enter the JCPOA and remove the sanctions on Iran, Israel would hit Iran’s nuclear plants with long range missiles. This threat too was met with silent acquiescence on the part of the US and its Western allies, the same kind of silence that has met Israel’s continued acts of ethnic cleansing, apartheid, house demolitions, settlement building, administrative detention of children, Gaza blockade, use of phosphorous bombs, flooding and contamination of agricultural land, raiding Al-Aqsa Mosque in the holy month of Ramadan, torching trees and agricultural crops and bombarding residential apartment blocks in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I don't know what the odds are that bookies are placing on this possibility, but I would strongly suggest that Israel is preparing a war against Iran, to attempt to prevent it from offering military help to the Palestinians, in very short order; I think this is a matter of when, not if.

US Sends Warship Through Taiwan Strait, Escalating Tensions With Beijing

A US warship sailed through the Taiwan Strait on Tuesday, the fifth such transit of the Biden administration. The US Navy’s Seventh Fleet said the guided-missile destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur made the provocative passage.

A spokesman from China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) denounced the US provocation on Wednesday. “The US move sends the wrong signals to Taiwanese independence-leaning forces, deliberately disrupting and sabotaging the regional situation and endangering peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait,” said PLA Eastern Theatre Command spokesman Senior Colonel Zhang Chunhui, as quoted by The South China Morning Post.

US transits through the sensitive waterway have become common in recent years, raising the risk of conflict with China due to the lack of communication between the US and Chinese military. In 2020, the Trump administration sailed warships through the Taiwan Strait 13 times, the highest number of such passages since at least 2007.

Webmaster's Commentary:

War with China (and by extension, war with Russia), would be one of the most pig-headedly, ham-fistedly stupid thing the US government could do right now.

Unfortunately, because something is the most stupid thing the US government could do, is utterly no guarantee that it won't do it.

Netanyahu Says ‘Conquering’ Gaza Is an Option for Israel

As Israel continued its bombardment of Gaza on Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said “conquering” the besieged Gaza Strip is a possible option to achieve his goals.

“You can either conquer them — and that’s always an open possibility — or you can deter them,” Netanyahu said of Hamas during a speech at the Kirya military base in Tel Aviv. “We are engaged right now in forceful deterrence, but I have to say, we are not ruling out anything.”

A minister in Netanyahu’s Likud party also discussed the idea of Israel conquering Gaza on Wednesday, something he said was an inevitability. “There will be no way to avoid one day temporarily taking over Gaza,” Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz told Ynet on Wednesday. “That day has not arrived for all kinds of reasons. I think the day will come, if not now then in the coming year,” he added.

At what cost to the Palestinians; total genocide?!?

TRAINED BY YEARS OF GUERILLA WAR, YEMEN’S HOUTHIS WANT TO EXPORT THIER REVOLUTION TO PALESTINE

SOURCE: MINT PRESS
Ansar Allah, who has enjoyed staggering success in staving off the wholesale invasion of their country by the U.S.-backed Saudi military, is eager to export its resistance mentality and battlefield knowledge to Palestine.

By Ahmed Abdulkareem

n Yemen’s capital city of Sana’a, hundreds of thousands of residents from the suburbs and neighboring towns gathered at Bab al-Yemen, the city’s main square, carrying Palestinian flags and holding banners encouraging Hamas to continue its campaign of pressure against Israel. In Hodeida, hundreds of thousands of protesters took to the streets despite the ever-present threat of incoming artillery shells, snipers’ bullets, and Saudi warplanes hovering above.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There is only so far one can push people, without those people pushing back; unfortunately, Israeli hubris will prevent this realization from happening until it is acutally too late to change the outcome, and may wind up bringing them to an horrific set of costs at the peace negotiation table.

BIDEN CALLS COAST GUARD CADETS 'DULL CLASS' OVER LACK OF APPLAUSE

President Biden - not satisfied indoctrinating the US military with Critical Race Theory and scouring their social media accounts for 'extremist content' - is now directly insulting Americans in uniform with a "please clap" moment.

Not exactly winning hearts and minds, are we...

Joe Biden threatened to drive over journalists, scolded the coast guard for not clapping at his drivel and threatened American citizens with dire consequences if they didn't take the vaccine.Sure glad we got rid of the mean tweeting despot. — Rising serpent ???????? (@rising_serpent) May 19, 2021
We're sure the MSM will cover this as viciously as they did the fabricated Trump WWI 'losers' story.

Biden Condemns Erdogan's Gaza Tirade As "Anti-Semitic" & "Reprehensible"

On Monday Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave a fiery speech to supporters which blasted Biden's "inaction" over the Gaza crisis, addressing Joe Biden to specifically say the US president has "blood on his hands". He was further reacting to the recent reports that Biden approved a $735 million dollar weapons sale from the United States to Israel, essentially accusing the US of supporting genocide against the Palestinians. Erdogan had also lashed out at Europe, accusing Austria in particular trying to make Muslims "pay the price of their own genocide against the Jews" - after an Israeli flag was seen flying over a federal building.

In response the State Department has come out swinging, condemning "Erdogan's recent anti-Semitic comments regarding the Jewish people" which the US finds "reprehensible," according to State Department spokesman Ned Price on Tuesday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Looks as though Biden is most furious against Erdogan, because Biden... is thoroughly impotent to get the killings of Palestinians to stop, as Netnayahu has nixed a cease fire any time soon.

Andven though Netanyahu has knocked out major commuications coming from Gaza or the West Bank, so people cannot see what the IDF is doing here, he cannot control what cell phones are able to see, witness and transmit; the optics here, well, not exactly wonderful for Israel's image.

Blinken Accuses Russia Of Making "Unlawful" Claims In The Arctic

Authored by Dave DeCamp via AntiWar.com,

Secretary of State Antony Blinken accused Russia of making "unlawful" claims in the Arctic, a region that the US military is increasingly focused on. Blinken made the comments from Iceland, where he is set to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov later this week for the first high-level in-person meeting between US and Russian officials of the Biden administration.

"We’ve seen Russia advance unlawful maritime claims, particularly its regulation of foreign vessels transiting the Northern Sea Route, which are inconsistent with international law. And that is something that we have and will respond to," Blinken said at a joint press conference with Iceland’s foreign minister.

Webmaster's Commentary:

WHAT "unlawful maritime claims", please, Secretary Blinken?!? This incoherently vague language sounds like you have nothing substantial about which to gripe, and just want to make Russia look bad on the world stage.

Because unless you can enumerate these articulately to both the American people and the world, YOU, SIR, HAVE NOT ONE LEG UPON WHICH TO STAND.

US Army Reveals Range Of New Hypersonic Weapon

The US Army has revealed the official range of its hypersonic boost-glide missile, otherwise known as the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon, or LRHW.

The Long Range Hypersonic Weapon provides a capability at a distance greater than 2,775 km (1,727 miles)," an Army spokesperson said, according to Breaking Defense. This means the hypersonic missile could be stationed in Guam and surgically bombard the Chinese if they invade Taiwan.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I seriously question that more weapons are going to, in the long run, make the US more safe; what we need is clear, intelligent foreign policy which works consistently to prevent wars from happening in the first place.

Russian Aerospace Forces get a new radar that could strip US military of its trump card

The Yenisei radar is equipped with remote-control stations, which allows it to effectively deal with jamming. For instance, the US Air Force has been so successful in many local conflicts because in almost every case, the air-defense systems employed by America’s opponents were neutralized by powerful and well-organized jamming systems.

They wouldn’t derail the Yenisei though. That’s because it traces and assigns targets with higher precision when countering powerful jamming. It is safe to assume that by accepting Yenisei into service, the Russian Aerospace Forces have removed the Americans’ tactical advantage.

Another key Yenisei feature is its sector-scanning capabilities (most radars can only do circular scans). This makes it possible for the radar to trace and assign ballistic missiles.

The New Pentagon Papers? Bombshell Report Claims DoD Operating 60,000-Troop Strong Secret Army

The force allegedly engages in operations abroad and on US soil, and if its existence is confirmed, would violate numerous US laws, as well as the Geneva Conventions on the rules of armed conflict.

The US military is operating a 60,000-troop strong secret army without any Congressional oversight, spending at least $900 million on the programme annually, a bombshell report by Newsweek alleges, citing the results of a two-year investigation.

The magazine’s report, said to be based on dozens of Freedom of Information Act requests, the analysis of 1,600 resumes and job postings, and interviews with several persons involved, suggests that this secret army carries out operations across the United States and abroad, both online and offline, and that its tasks include defeating increasingly complex technologies.

Chinese and Russian Military Leaders Laugh... U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Hosts "Game Changing" Diversity and Inclusion Training

Diversity is just another word for less white people.

Somehow, our military’s devotion to eradicating the number of white males involved in TRADOC will make us safer, more secure, and a greater beacon for democracy. [TRADOC hosts ‘game changing’ diversity and inclusion training, Army.Mil, May 5, 2021]:

The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command’s diversity office provided training necessary to effectively advise commanders in areas of diversity and inclusion, and to make a better, more inclusive workplace for everyone.

The training, called the “Game Changer” training, was hosted April 26-30 here at Jacobs Conference Center for Army equal opportunity advisors.

The Pentagon's secret army: Shadowy 60K-strong undercover force is operating across the globe and specializes in cutting-edge 'signature reduction' espionage techniques and has a $900B budget

  • The Pentagon has amassed a secret, 60,000-strong undercover army to carry out domestic and foreign assignments, a new investigation has revealed
  • The force is reportedly more than 10 times the size of the CIA's clandestine operation and includes military and civilian agents 'in real life and online'
  • The agents are 'trained to create secret identities for themselves, make disguises, and can assume fake identities online to pursue high value targets'
  • The digital sleuths can even manipulate biometric databases of foreign Governments so agents can pass fingerprint checks under false identities
  • Newsweek says the force is part of a new front in covert warfare using a little-known espionage known as 'signature reduction'
  • Signature reduction gives the US deniability on sensitive missions and allows soldiers, civilians and contractors to work under false identities

Honored at last: Remembering the heroes of Flying Tiger Line Flight 739

Six decades after their loved ones vanished into thin air, relatives of the victims of Flying Tiger Line Flight 739 — 93 soldiers aboard a secret-mission flight chartered by the US Army in the buildup to the Vietnam War — want answers.

They gathered together Saturday for a ceremony in Columbia Falls, Maine, organized by the non-profit Wreaths Across America at a memorial to honor the fallen.

“The memorial ceremony offers some closure,” Marie Mull, 82, told The Post of her brother, Sgt. Clarence Ganance of Rensselaer, NY. “We’ve always wondered what happened .?.?. probably always will.”

Nobody knows exactly what happened on the morning of March 16, 1962, because no bodies nor debris — not even a single piece — have ever been recovered.

America’s Superpower Days Are Lost and Gone Forever

According to the Pentagon, 71% of Americans aged 17 to 24 – roughly 24 million out of 34 million people—are ineligible to join the military because of “obesity, lack of high school diploma, or a criminal record.” —

To fill the ranks, the Pentagon and CIA recruit women with two moms and cisgender millenials of color diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. White males are not shown in the recruitment videos.

Just Whose Coast Is The Coast Guard Guarding?

Most Americans likely assume that the mission of the U.S. Coast Guard is to protect the coasts of the United State from maritime threats. Increasingly, though, that is no longer true, as Coast Guard vessels and personnel now routinely operate thousands of miles from the US homeland. Moreover, they frequently are not engaged in "defensive" missions, but are instead part and parcel of Washington’s arrogant force projection around the world.

Israel Airstrikes Flatten 3 Gaza Buildings, Kill 42 As Netanyahu Says "War Will Go On"

The fourth war between Israel and Palestine escalated on Sunday when Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City flattened three buildings and killed at least 42 people, Palestinian medics said. Yet despite international efforts to broker a cease-fire and the rising death toll (mostly on the Palestinian side) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signaled the fourth war with Gaza’s Hamas rulers - which was sparked by unrest in Israeli-annexed east Jerusalem, and has seen the death toll in the densely-populated Gaza Strip rise to 181, and to 10 in Israel - would rage on.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As part of that "growing chorus of sceptics", I am more than certain Netanyahu ordered this on-going attack as his "diversion" from his never-ending political scandals and the precarious state of the Knesset, post-election.

Look at the timing; a "hung Knesset", where no faction is able to cobble together a majority, and Netanyahu's legal woes are NOT going away any time soon. What better time to raid Al Aksa mosque, and rough up the worshippers?!? The timing, with an already suppressed, ticked-off (and for many good reasons) Palestinian population, couldn't have possibly been better, in Netanyahu's reasoning.

The timing stinks to high heaven.

In classical Greek mythology, hubris, translated as overweening pride, always triggering the downfall of someone who COULD have been a real hero.

In my world, Netanyahu is no hero for his people; he rules by fear, and loves to induce terror into the hearts of the Israeli people, deflecting any possibility of a morally honorable, or reasonable rapprochement with the Palestinians, and insures that any attempt to achieve this, is DOA.

I want to see a peaceful, thriving Israel, and a peaceful, thriving Palestine; unfortunately current leadership on both sides is preventing that from happening.

Both the Israeli and the Palestinian people, deserve better than this!!

Commanding officer dictates 'religious beliefs' to military chaplain

A military officer has decided, for a chaplain under his command, what his "religious beliefs" must be, a decision that is being challenged by First Liberty Institute as "wildly inappropriate and offensive."

The problem developed when a news "report" described how Joe Biden was planning to drop President Trump's "military transgender ban."

NATO pontiff cites Scripture for holy war against Russia and China

The North Atlantic prelate alluded to the story of Jesus’ multiplication of the fish and loaves in the four Gospels that is referred to as the Feeding of the 5,000, stating, with a quote from it, “The theme of this year’s conference is ‘schaut hin‘ – go and see….”

NATO didn’t record whether anyone in the audience invited him to go and see select bomb and missile craters in Serbia, Afghanistan and Libya.

He seemed quite pleased with himself in saying, “As the Latin saying goes, if you want peace, prepare for war.” He didn’t cite it in Latin, though, in which case it’s a Roman saying.

US could lose next war, said US Air Force Chief of Staff

On 7 May 2021, US Air Force Chief of Staff General Charles Q. Brown was called to testify before the House Defense Appropriations Sub-Committee.

The four-star general has been tapped to succeed General Mark Milley as the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Brown made clear that the US Air Force has gradually lost its technological edge, pointing out in particular that the ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) systems have not been modernized for over 20 years.

He observed that China and Russia have studied the US wars since 9/11 and have concluded that the role of citizens is as important as that of the military.

More importantly, he indicated that in the event of a great war today, the United States would not be sure of winning it.
