Here's Exactly How Much Cheaper It Is to Maintain an EV vs. Your Gas Car

When deciding on the next car you’re going to buy, there are some generally accepted pros and cons between sticking with a traditional gas car and switching to an electric vehicle. On the positive side for internal combustion engines, they generally cost less up front, there’s no new learning curve and refueling is fast and easy. On the EV side, they’re better for the environment, filling up with electricity costs less than gas and they also cost less to maintain — but exactly how much less?

The U.S. Department of Energy recently commissioned a study which, in part, looked at the difference between scheduled maintenance costs of traditional gas cars and electric vehicles. After factoring in all manner of services, from oil changes to new wiper blades to brake pads, the estimated cost of maintenance for light-duty gas vehicles is 10.1 cents per mile, while comparable battery electric vehicles come in at just 6.1 cents, as reported by Motor Trend.

150 Amazon packages arrived at a woman's home by mistake. Here's what she did with them

A New York woman is giving back to the community after more than 150 Amazon boxes that did not belong to her showed up at her house.

Jillian Cannan told CNN started receiving packages at her home on June 5 thinking they were related to her business.

"I thought my business partner had ordered something for our studio that we were waiting for on backorder," she said. "So I opened them up to condense the boxes and I realized they were mask brackets."

Cannan sent an image to her business partner asking why she ordered so many, only to find out neither she nor her partner ordered them.

"So I go back out and I check the boxes and it's my address, but not my name," she said. Cannan thought the packages were weird but just thought it was an honest mistake, until more started showing up.

National Justice Exclusive: Black Police Major Ordering Arrest of White Parents Protesting CRT Is An NAACP Member Who Shot His Own Daughter

Earlier today a group of white parents gathered at a school board meeting in Loudon County, Virginia to peacefully protest the anti-white racial hate their children are being subjected to in class.

The Loudon Co. Sheriff’s office, infuriated at the content of their message, subsequently declared the school board meeting an unlawful assembly and began arresting the parents.

A source familiar with the incident told National Justice that the decision to declare unlawful assembly and start arresting the peaceful parents was made by Maj. Easton McDonald, the black man seen in the footage directing the white officers to handcuff the parent.

Maj. McDonald is a supporter of an anti-white organization, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and has been the keynote speaker at recent racially charged events.

USAF’s First Electric Ultra-Short Takeoff Plane Blows eVTOLs Out of the Water

The U.S. Air Force is serious about introducing innovative air mobility vehicles into its future operations. Electra was just selected by USAF to develop ultra-short takeoff aircraft, as part of the Agility Prime program. In only a few years, we will be seeing Air Force-operated electric aircraft like nothing we’ve seen before.
According to USAF, there are now more than 200 companies that are developing cutting-edge vertical flight aircraft based on electric vertical takeoff and landing technologies (eVTOLs), all over the world. By launching Agility Prime, described by the Air Force as a “non-traditional” program, USAF intends to bring together industry partners, government representatives and investors, in order to speed up the process of making these types of vehicles commercially viable.

FBI monitoring of social media posts before Jan 6 raises more questions of how much it REALLY knew prior to Capitol Hill riot

Publicly, US authorities have rigidly stuck to the story that no one saw the January 6 Capitol ruckus coming. But the publication of internal documents is casting further doubt on the established version of events.

On June 21, NBC News reported on a recent court filing that raises further questions about whether the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) foresaw what happened in Washington DC on January 6 and, if so, why the agency failed to sound the alarm in good time.

Redneck Rave’ Descends Into Throat Slashing, Impalements, and Mass Arrests

A massive country music festival in Kentucky this past weekend started off on rocky footing: Police found meth, marijuana, and an open bottle of alcohol in the first vehicle they stopped at a traffic checkpoint. One of the people in the car had two active warrants out for their arrest.

By the end of the five-day bash, dubbed the “Redneck Rave,” a man had been impaled, a woman had been strangled to the point of unconsciousness, and a throat had been slit. In all, Edmonson authorities arrested 14 people and charged four dozen people from five states.

The UK publication of a history book labeled ‘too white’ has been delayed. ‘Publish and be damned’? That principle is clearly dead

The publishing world’s in danger of becoming a no-go area for freedom of expression. The delayed publication of a history text, amended after it was deemed “too white,” is proof of that.

There’s a veritable army of freelance censors and sensitivity entrepreneurs enlisted in the policing of culture. Poor Richard Cohen. The British author’s book, titled ‘The History Makers’, was due out earlier this month before being serialised on BBC Radio 4.

Promoted as an “epic exploration of who writes the past”, it had already been a target of cultural policing by Random House. The American publisher had previously demanded that Cohen rewrite part of his 800-page tome on the grounds that he failed to include a sufficiently large quota of black historians and academics. Yet, despite the rewrite, it decided to cancel his contract.

JCN Withdraws Lawsuit Against MLB, Vows to ‘Remedy the Injustice’ Inflicted on Small Businesses

The Job Creators Network (JCN) has withdrawn its lawsuit against Major League Baseball (MLB). Still, they haven’t stopped fighting for small businesses impacted by the league’s decision to move the All-Star Game from Atlanta.

Appearing before the U.S. Court House at Foley Square in New York City, JCN President Alfredo Ortiz blasted MLB for “virtue signaling” by listening to the “activist lies” about Georgia’s voter reform laws and “callously” retaliating against the small businesses of Atlanta by relocating the All-Star Game to Denver.

“This move deprived local small businesses, which are the backbone of Atlanta’s communities, over $100 million in lost revenues at a time when they needed it most,” Ortiz explained. “The MLB must be held accountable for their knee-jerk decision that hurt so many people.”

Ortiz also stressed that JCN’s recent shortcoming in federal court was not due to their case lacking merit.

Bill Maher Threatens to Leave California: You ‘Love to Be Up Everybody’s Ass’ But Can’t Manage Droughts and Wildfires

Comedian Bill Maher has not-so-jokingly threatened to leave California, arguing that the state continues to mismanage its water supply in the face of chronic droughts and wildfires.

On Friday’s episode of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, the Los Angeles-based comedian launched a tirade against California’s water mismanagement as well as the state’s tendency to over-regulate businesses and the lives of its residents.

“For a state that just loves to be up everybody’s ass all the time, water management might be a better place to direct that instinct,” Maher said. “When it comes to regulations, either go big or go home or I’m going to find a new home because my house is one gender reveal party away from burning down while I’m asleep.”

NAACP, Congressional Black Caucus Silent About Democrat Senator’s Membership at All-White Club

Both the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Congressional Black Caucus were radio silent on Monday after news broke that Democrat Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) defended his membership to an elite, all-white beach club.

Breitbart News reached out to both the NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus for comment regarding Whitehouse’s extra-curricular activities. Neither organization responded.

Whitehouse, who decried systemic racism following the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, has frequented Bailey Beach Club for decades, GoLocal Providence first reported. While the 124-year-old club can’t legally mandate that its members be “all white,” its lack of diversity was first documented back in 2003 in the New York Times:

Critical Race Theory May Violate Civil Rights Act, the Constitution: Dr. Carol Swain

Critical Race Theory training, which pressures people not to say certain things, take a certain stance, or forces them into some segregated settings, may infringe on people’s constitutional rights and even violate civil rights laws, said Dr. Carol Swain, a former professor of political science and law at Princeton and Vanderbilt universities.

The main tenet of Critical Race Theory (CRT) is that the people of the world are divided into oppressors and oppressed, and in the United States, “all white people are considered oppressors who benefit from undeserved advantages,” Swain told The Epoch Times in an interview on EpochTV’s “Crossroads” program.

“[Whites] are deemed guilty of having set up a system of systemic racism,” she said of one main assumption being drawn from CRT. “The demonization of one group of people because of the color of their skin is something that is discriminatory.”

Permanent “lethargy syndrome” and long-term loss of motor skills now common “side-effects” of Covid-19 vaccines

The Covid vaccines are very far from “safe and effective.” They’re outright dangerous and detrimental to health, including normal daily functioning. For example, motor skills are something most of us just take for granted on a daily basis, like standing, walking, climbing stairs, balancing, coordinating, reacting and so on. This would include gross motor skills and fine motor skills, but what if you suddenly lost many of these abilities, right after getting jabbed with these so-called “safe and effective” experimental concoctions?

Now, there’s a wave of victims of vaccine coming out and explaining how they’ve lost motor skills, some while experiencing relentless, excruciating pain for weeks or months on end. Some victims are saying these crippling “side effects” come on 3 or 4 days after inoculation, and are lasting for 3 to 4 months, including constant lethargy, excruciating shooting pains going up their spine and neck, blindness, deafness and depression.

US Navy conducts first of three blasts in carrier Gerald R. Ford shock trials

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Navy conducted the first of three in-water blasts near first-in-class aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford, kicking off the full-ship shock trials process on a nuclear-powered flattop for the first time in 34 years.

The Navy’s shock trial event, the first of its kind on any class of ship since 2016, aims to prove the new carrier can withstand a hit in combat. The ship will go through two more scheduled blasts in June and July, Lt. Cmdr. Desiree Frame. a Ford spokeswoman, told Defense News.

“In a shock trial, a ship undergoes three 40,000-pound explosive charge detonations which occur successively closer to the ship,” she said. Exact dates for each event are dependent on sea state, weather, marine mammal activity and other factors.
