Curiosity rover searches for salt on Mars

The Curiosity rover is heading for the hills as it continues to explore Mars, and the proverbial gold it's looking for may surprise you: organic salts.

No, that's not for your farm-to-table cooking. Organic salt is a key ingredient in the quest for evidence of life on planets beyond Earth.

The rover has been exploring Gale Crater, likely the site of an ancient lake, since 2012. It began ascending the 3-mile-high Mount Sharp, located at the center of the crater, in 2014.

The mission began with the goals of determining if conditions on Mars ever supported life as well as characterizing the Martian climate and geology. Curiosity has achieved most of what it was designed to do, but it's now crossing into an interesting new phase: investigating a transition that occurred on Mars billions of years ago.

Email Shows Researcher Who Funded Wuhan Lab, Admits Manipulating Coronaviruses, Thanked Fauci For Dismissing Lab-Leak Theory

Dr Fauci’s emails have been released via a Freedom of Information Act request, and there is some pretty interesting stuff in them, particularly one email where a researcher who funded the Wuhan Institute of Virology thanks Fauci for publicly dismissing the lab leak theory early on during the pandemic.

The email from Dr. Peter Daszak, President of the EcoHealth Alliance, a group that has extensive ties to the Wuhan lab gain of function research, sent the email to Fauci on April 18, 2020, roughly six weeks after the outbreak had taken hold.

The Biggest Flip-Flop Ever & Who’s Going to Jail?

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), has defended the natural-origin theory for SARS-CoV-2 since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic

In his biggest about-face to date, Fauci is now saying he’s “not convinced” the virus had a natural origin after all, and that we must continue to investigate “what went on in China until we find out, to the best of our ability, what happened”

Considering Fauci’s opinion has been used by mainstream media and fact checkers to censor any and all other experts, this very public 180 is no doubt causing embarrassment among mainstream reporters

Fauci is now also denying ever having funded gain-of-function research, even though there’s irrefutable evidence that he did. It seems he’s trying to redefine “gain-of-function,” such that none of the research he paid for will fall under that definition

The scene is iconic. As the Jeep passes a lush, verdant landscape, something unreal comes into view — brachiosaurs and Parasaurolophus taking an afternoon drink from a lake as the symphony in the background builds up to a crescendo. The problem is that none of this is real.

This is not just about Jurassic Park being fiction. It seems that there has been fiction hiding in the science of paleontology ever since dinosaur bones started to emerge from their incidental graves underground. Dinosaurs, at least the most massive ones, could have never meandered through the trees or run fast enough to chase down an SUV. No T. rex could have stayed on its feet long enough to terrorize people with thunderous footsteps that overpowered even the sound of a storm. It would have barely been able to stand.

How to watch next week's rare "ring of fire" solar eclipse

Last month's "super flower blood moon" lunar eclipse was hardly the only exciting celestial event of the season. Next week brings an even bigger spectacle — a rare "ring of fire" solar eclipse.

On June 10, skywatchers all over the world will be able to view the eclipse.

What is an annular solar eclipse?

A total solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes directly between the Earth and the sun, completely blocking the sun's light. During an annular solar eclipse, the moon does not completely cover the sun as it passes, leaving a glowing ring of sunlight visible.

Wuhan Panic: Is Fauci Going To Jail?

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), has been a staunch defender of the natural-origin theory for SARS-CoV-2 since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Back in May 2020, CNN used Fauci’s statements on the issue as proof that then-President Donald Trump was spouting a ridiculous conspiracy theory:1

“For weeks now, President Donald Trump has been making the case that the coronavirus originated not in nature but in a lab in Wuhan, China,” CNN wrote.2

“Enter Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease and perhaps the single most prominent doctor in the world at the moment. In an interview with National Geographic … Fauci was definitive about the origins of the virus …

Japan Is Sending This Tiny Transforming Robo-Ball Straight to the Moon

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency has teamed up with Sony, Doshisha University, and toymaker Tomy to send a transforming rover roughly the size of a baseball to the Moon. What a time to be alive, amirite?

And this little bot has a huge responsibility: It’ll gather comprehensive data about the lunar surface so that JAXA’s crewed rover, set to launch in 2029, can get around. To further develop the autonomous driving technology and cruising technology that the rover will use on its voyage, JAXA needs to study the potential impacts of the Moon’s gravity, which is one-sixth of that on Earth, and the layer of regolith, aka Moon dirt, that covers its surface, the agency said in an announcement this week first spotted by The Byte.

NASA’s Curiosity Rover Shows Us What Cloudy and Colorful Days on Mars Look Like

Clouds are rare on Mars and usually only pop up at the coldest time of the year near the planet’s equator. One Martian year ago though, NASA noticed some clouds forming in the sky above its veteran Curiosity rover and became determined to document them the following year. In recent months, Curiosity got to work, taking some amazing photos that show us what cloudy days are like on the Red Planet and broadening our understanding of just how clouds form far, far away.

NASA refers to these unexpected clouds simply as “early” clouds at the moment. In an announcement, NASA said that the Curiosity team has already made one new discovery about the early clouds from the rover’s photos: They’re at a higher altitude than usual. Those of us who aren’t cloud experts—guilty, though in my defense I think clouds are very cool—might not find that too significant at first glance, but it’s actually an important distinction that lets us know what the clouds are made of.

White House Admits Staging Fake Vaccination Operation To Gather DNA From The Public

The White House has officially admitted that fake vaccination programs have been used by the United States as a cover for covertly stealing DNA samples from the public as part of the so-called “war on terror.” The aim of the scheme, carried out in the Middle East, was to use DNA analysis to identify suspected terrorists who would then be targeted to be killed by the United States.

As the New York Times reported in 2011, “In the months before Osama bin Laden was killed, the Central Intelligence Agency ran a phony vaccination program in Abbottabad, Pakistan, as a ruse to obtain DNA evidence from members of Bin Laden’s family thought to be holed up in an expansive compound there.” (1)

“CIA agents recruited a senior Pakistani doctor to organize the vaccine drive in Abbottabad, even starting the “project” in a poorer part of town to make it look more authentic,” reports The Guardian (2).

Fishermen find $1.5M fortune in the belly of a whale

A group of Yemeni fishermen's lives were changed when they discovered $1.5 million worth of a rare substance in the carcass of a sperm whale in the Gulf of Aden.

The 35-member team found the carcass floating in the gulf and, upon dragging it to the shore, discovered an expensive lump of ambergris, or whale "vomit," used to preserve the odor of perfume.
"As soon as we got close to it there was this strong smell and we had the feeling that this whale had something," one of the men told the BBC.

"We decided to hook the whale in, take it to shore and cut into it to see what was inside its belly, and yes, it was ambergris. The smell wasn't very nice - but lots of money," the unnamed man added.

Toxic Chemicals Linked to Lower Egg Counts in Women

By Jasmin Hassan, Karolinska Institutet; Pauliina Damdimopoulou, Karolinska Institutet, and Richelle Duque Björvang, Karolinska Institutet

Birth rates are decreasing worldwide. In all European countries they’re even dropping below population replacement levels, which refers to the number of children needed per woman to keep a population stable. While these decreases might be due to many adults intentionally postponing when they have their first child – or actively choosing not to have children – an increasing number of studies suggests these don’t fully explain decreasing birth rates. Some research also indicates that decreasing fertility is a major contributing factor in this decline.

One factor linked to decreased fertility is the presence of industrial chemicals found in our environment. Much is known about the impact of these chemicals on male fertility, but little research has looked into how they affect women. This is what our recent study sought to do...

Chinese diplomat promotes conspiracy theory that US military brought coronavirus to Wuhan

A prominent Chinese official has promoted a conspiracy theory that the United States military could have brought the novel coronavirus to China -- and it did not originate in the city of Wuhan, as thought.

Posting to his more than 300,000 followers on Twitter, Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian republished a video of Robert Redfield, the director for the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, addressing a US Congressional committee on March 11.

In the clip, Redfield said some influenza deaths in the US were later identified as cases of Covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
Redfield didn't say when those people had died or over what time period, but Zhao pointed to his remarks in support of a growing conspiracy theory that the coronavirus did not originate in Hubei province in central China. He did not offer any further evidence for the claim.

Ivermectin obliterates 97 percent of Delhi cases

A 97% decline in Delhi cases with Ivermectin is decisive - period. It represents the last word in an epic struggle to save lives and preserve human rights. This graph symbolizes the victory of reason over corruption, good over evil, and right over wrong. It is as significant as David’s victory over Goliath. It is an absolute vindication of Ivermectin and early outpatient treatment. It is a clear refutation of the WHO, FDA, NIH, and CDC's policies of "wait at home until you turn blue" before you get treatment.

Dr. Pierre Kory told the world on December 8, 2020, that Ivermectin "obliterates" this virus. Obliterate means to decimate, demolish, or annihilate. It means to eliminate or destroy all trace, indication, or significance.

The Fauci Wuhan Lab Scandal That Could Make Watergate Look Like a Blip, Bring Local Control

Political scientists will tell you that the Watergate scandal and the Vietnam war combined in the 1970s to destroy Americans’ confidence in the federal government. A new poll from Convention of States Action and the Trafalgar Group indicates that this generation’s Watergate is COVID-19.

Dr. Anthony Fauci — or, as some have called him, “Flip-Flop Fauci” — has lied and obfuscated the truth since the pandemic began last year. He told Americans that masks don’t protect against COVID-19 only to reverse his position and admit that he lied because he didn’t trust the American people. He’s changed his stance multiple times on whether we’ll experience another wave of the virus and he’s changed his stance on outside mask-wearing.

New Documents Shed Light On US Federal Funded Wuhan Lab

The National Institutes of Health, which has been in the fame area for its connections to the infamous Wuhan Institute of Virology, is the single biggest funder for biomedical research globally, with a budget surpassing $40 billion in 2020.

The agency encompasses 27 separate institutes, like the National Cancer Institute and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases headed by Dr. Anthony Fauci, which carry thousands of study projects across the United States.

NIH Director Francis Collins was keen to highlight the agency’s innovative achievements throughout congressional hearings this week amid mounting questions regarding the concept that COVID-19 could have escaped from the Wuhan lab last year.

Evidence from around the world suggests COVID vaccines are leading to more deaths and infections: French medical doctor

June 1, 2021 (Global Research) – This article by Dr. Gérard Delépine was first published on May 25, in French on the Global Research French language website –

This article demonstrates unequivocally that mortality and morbidity has increased dramatically as a result of the vaccine. The incidence of COVID positive cases has also increased.

“And everywhere they have been followed by a dramatic rise in new infections and mortality for several weeks or months.”

Dr. Delépine’s careful analysis of the pre and post vaccine trends for 14 countries around the world

The latest official figures for the European Union, which are rarely acknowledged by the mainstream media, indicate that from late December 2020 to May 22, 2021:

Bombshell: Fauci wrote in 2012 that benefits of gain-of-function research ‘outweigh the risks’

White House coronavirus adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci acknowledged in 2012 that controversial “gain-of-function” research carried the “remote” possibility of triggering a pandemic, but argued the benefits would “outweigh the risks,” according to remarks newly unearthed as worldwide COVID-19 deaths near 3.6 million.

Last month, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) confronted Fauci during a Senate hearing over the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH’s) role in funding gain-of-function (GOF) research — which involves intentionally strengthening viruses to better study their potential effects — at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Such research could have given birth to COVID-19.

Fauci Emails Reveal Damage Control Scramble After ZeroHedge Spotlights Man-Made COVID-19 Theory

In January, 2020, when the World Health Organization insisted that COVID-19 wasn't transmissible between humans, and Dr. Anthony Fauci said that the risk to the American public from the virus was "low," officials at the National Institutes of Health were scrambling to perform damage control after a controversial - and now withdrawn - study suggested that there were HIV-like 'insertions' included in SARS-CoV-2.

The study, "Uncanny similarity of unique inserts on the 2019-nCoV spike protein to HIV-1 gp120 and Gag," posited that segments of the virus's RNA had no relation to other coronaviruses such as SARS, and instead appeared to be closer to HIV.

Space pollution: Astronomers call on world governments to intervene on 5G satellites

A group of professional astronomers has made an international appeal to put an end to the 5G satellite madness in order to protect the astronomical sky.

Their formal request follows many of the concerns previously voiced by the International Astronomical Union as well as other institutions. They argue that sky degradation is coming from not just light pollution in the sky around cities; it is increasingly coming from artificial satellite fleets that create bright parallel streaks and trails, obscuring important views of the universe.

Astronomers worry the earth could soon be blanketed by tens of thousands of satellites, handily outnumbering the roughly 9000 stars currently visible to the unaided human eye and adversely impacting their ability to make astronomical observations, which in the past have led to incredible progress in our scientific understanding of how the laws of nature work.

More than 80% of children who received Pfizer’s covid injection suffered side effects

Pfizer and BioNTech have published the findings of a new Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” study on children, revealing that upwards of 80 percent of them suffer harmful side effects from the two-part injection.

The company released a 37-page “fact sheet” on May 19 outlining the current status of its vaccination studies in the context of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) emergency use authorization (EUA) provisions. The document reveals that the vast majority of injected children are now suffering side effects that could leave them damaged or traumatized for life.

The company’s “factsheet” explains that the injections were tested on 1,097 children and adolescents between the ages of 12 and 15. Of this, at least 866 of the children developed side effects, roughly half of which were described as “mild” and the other half as “moderate” or “severe.”

Canadian doctor: COVID response is slowly ‘dismantling’ ethics established after World War 2

A Canadian doctor and author of a declaration opposing attempts by the Canadian medical establishment to prohibit doctors from questioning the mainstream COVID-19 narrative says the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) is “dismantling the ethics put in place after the Second World War with the Nuremberg Code.”

“I was taught in medical school that the bedrock of the Nuremberg Code is a free and fully formed consent [for all patients]. To only promote the public health measures is a denial of the rights of those patients,” Dr. Patrick Phillips, who works as an emergency room physician in Englehart, Ontario, told LifeSiteNews.

Phillips, along with other Canadian physicians, helped author and then publish the declaration “For science and truth,” which came in response to a recent statement from the CPSO saying that doctors must not speak their mind if that would contradict the “official” government response to COVID-19.

The Vaccine Divide and Emerging Segregation Society

By Jesse Smith

The push to get everyone to take a COVID-19 injection may be the greatest social engineering project the world has ever witnessed. Governments, Big Pharma, corporations, celebrities, health professionals, and the media have been able to convince millions of people to take experimental “vaccines” based on technology never before used in humans. The FDA and CDC declared they were safe (minus a few expected minor side effects) after only a few months of clinical trials and rushed them to market well before the expected 18-month timeline. The tricks used to fast-track these vaccines for widespread use would make even David Copperfield green with envy.

Top Chinese mouthpiece suggests country prepare for nuclear war with US as Wuhan lab leak theory gains momentum

Hu Xijin, a top Chinese propagandist, declared recently that China should prepare for a nuclear showdown with the United States after President Joe Biden affirmed continued investigations into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.

What did Biden say?
Once decried as a conspiracy theory — despite a lack of evidence disproving the possibility — the Wuhan lab leak theory as the origin of the pandemic has gained significant footing in recent weeks, with high-profile scientists saying the possibility demands increased investigation.

Biden responded to growing confidence in the theory last week by calling on American intelligence officials to conduct more investigation into the pandemic's origin, including the possibility that COVID-19 leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The center of the Milky Way looks like a work of art

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has delivered so many incredible images of objects and structures in space that it’s easy to forget that NASA has a whole lot of other space-scanning hardware working overtime to make new discoveries of their own. One of those is the Chandra X-ray Observatory which, as you can tell by the name, detects X-ray energy in space. It was designed to last roughly five years in space, but it’s already logged over 21, and it’s about to have its 22nd anniversary in a couple of months.

Chandra is an extremely powerful tool because it can ignore visible light and peer deeper into our own Milky Way galaxy than telescopes that view visible or UV light bands. Combined with observations made by the MeerKAT radio telescope in South Africa, scientists using data from Chandra have delivered a view of the center of the Milky Way that is just plain stunning.

Researchers Baffled by the Discovery of Enormous 'Supervolcano' Beneath Alaska

Volcano researchers discovered a potential supervolcano in Alaska, with one scientist warning it could have a "great global impact". In recent days, Alaska has been in the headlines after an eruption of its Great Sitkin volcano last week.

Emission of Volcanic Ash Into the Atmosphere
Last Thursday, the US Geological Survey revealed a red warning had been raised - showing that there is a possibility of significant emission of volcanic ash into the atmosphere. The Alaska Volcano Observatory said on Thursday a "short-duration" explosive eruption of about one-two minutes took place at 5:04 GMT, bringing about an ash cloud up to 15,000 feet above sea level.

"Since that explosion occurred, seismicity has reduced and satellite images reveal that the ash cloud has been separated from the vent and is moving towards the east," they added. According to the observatory website, Alaska is responsible for over three-quarters of all US volcanoes that have erupted during the past 200 years.

Space junk hit the International Space Station, damaging a robotic arm

(CNN)A robotic arm located outside of the International Space Station has been hit by orbital debris, but it's still functioning.

The impact to Canadarm2, first noticed by NASA and the Canadian Space Agency during a routine inspection on May 12, punched a hole in the arm boom and its thermal blanket.

"Despite the impact, results of the ongoing analysis indicate that the arm's performance remains unaffected," according to a release by the Canadian Space Agency.

While the exact object responsible for this damage is unknown, the space station is at risk of impact from objects too small to be tracked as it orbits the Earth from 220 nautical miles away. These tiny objects could be pieces of rock, micrometeorites, dust particles or even flecks of paint that chip off of satellites.

About 23,000 objects about the size of a softball or larger are constantly tracked by space agencies to ensure that they don't collide with satellites or the space station.

Virologists Say Genetic "Fingerprints" Prove COVID-19 Man-Made, 'No Credible Natural Ancestor'

Two notable virologists claim to have found "unique fingerprints" on COVID-19 samples that only could have arisen from laboratory manipulation, according to an explosive 22-page paper obtained by the Daily Mail.

British professor Angus Dalgleish - best known for creating the world's first 'HIV vaccine', and Norwegian virologist Dr. Birger Sørensen - chair of pharmaceutical company, Immunor, who has published 31 peer-reviewed papers and holds several patents, wrote that while analyzing virus samples last year, the pair discovered "unique fingerprints" in the form of "six inserts" created through gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

China Thought They’d Beaten COVID, Now the Indian Variant Is Surging

The Chinese government has taken the drastic measure of cancelling hundreds of flights and locking down several streets in the city of Guangzhou, which has a population of over 15.3 million, because of the rapid spread of the Indian variant of COVID-19.

The bustling city has had, until now, very few reported cases, but since the weekend, the number of new infections tied to the variant first identified in India and now known as the Delta variant, has been doubling daily, according to Chinese state media, which often under reports statistics about the pandemic.

“In this race against the virus, we must run a bit ahead and run faster than before in order to block the spread of the virus and cut off the infection chain in time,” Huang Guanglie, director of the Guangzhou municipal health commission said Tuesday.

Fauci’s Hidden History And Secret Affiliations Finally Catch Up With Him

It doesn’t get any bigger that FAUCIgate.

How so?

Just look at what this capo di tutti i capi of the Medical Mafia — Dr. Anthony Fauci — has gotten away with since the beginning of this manufactured coronavirus pandemic and meticulously staged panic.

An accurate accounting of the countless deaths, widespread disease and community destruction, damage to the national and state economies, societal collapse and citywide devastation, bankrupted businesses and ruined families, etc. is simply too long to list here. Filmmakers Take Aim at Lockdowns in “Follow the Science” Documentary

By Rebecca Day

For the arts industry, 2020 was an unprecedented year. Musicians saw incomes instantly wiped out when live venues were forced to close due to lockdowns. The film industry came to a screeching halt as production studios and sets shut down indefinitely. Countless individuals, from sound technicians to makeup artists, were labeled “unessential” by authorities. But being labeled unessential doesn’t stop bills from coming due, or your child from needing food...

The film plans to highlight scientists such as Nick Hudson from Panda, an organization who questioned sweeping, compulsory measures due to the politicization and manipulation of pandemic data. It will also include healthcare policy advisors like Scott Atlas, who speaks out against the erosion of personal liberties. Finally, it plans to feature individuals and families whose lives were torn apart by privileged authorities who didn’t have to obey the mandates they enacted on citizens...

FLASHBACK - US shuts down its biological warfare lab

America’s main biological warfare lab has been ordered to stop all research into the deadliest viruses and pathogens over fears contaminated waste could leak out of the facility.

Fort Detrick, in Maryland, has been the epicentre of the US Army’s bioweapons research since the beginning of the Cold War.

But last month the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – the government’s public health body – stripped the base of its license to handle highly restricted “select agents”, which includes Ebola, smallpox and anthrax.

The unusual move follows an inspection by the CDC at Fort Detrick which found several problems with new procedures used to decontaminate waste water.

For years the facility used a steam sterilisation plant to treat waste water, but after a storm flooded and ruined that machinery last year, Fort Detrick switched to a new chemical-based decontamination system.

Coronavirus began in US, not China, Chinese official suggests

A spokesman for China's ministry of foreign affairs has lashed out at the United States' handling of the coronavirus outbreak, saying COVID-19 may have been brought into China by US soldiers.

Lijian Zhao, a prominent firebrand official with more than 300,000 followers on Twitter, took to the social media platform to suggest the origin of COVID-19 was in fact the United States, not China.

"When did patient zero begin in US? How many people are infected? What are the names of the hospitals?" Mr Zhao wrote on Twitter.

"It might be US Army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan."

Rep. McCaul Calls COVID Virus Origin "Worst Cover-Up In Human History"

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), the lead Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, on Sunday said it was “more likely than not” that COVID-19 originated from a lab accident, calling it the “worst cover-up in human history.”

“I do think it’s more likely than not it emerged out of the lab, most likely accidentally,” McCaul said during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“Let me say, this is the worst cover-up in human history that we’ve seen resulting in 3.5 million deaths, creating economic devastation around the globe.”

His remarks come amid calls for a deeper probe into the origins of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus following widespread concerns that the pandemic may have been sparked by a laboratory accident in China’s central city of Wuhan. President Joe Biden has ordered the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) to ramp up efforts to investigate the virus’s origins.

OSHA Suspends Requirement That Employers Report Vaccine-related Injuries

In order to encourage American workers to get vaccinated, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has suspended the legal requirement for employers to report work-related injuries resulting from vaccinations aimed at combating the CCP virus that causes the disease COVID-19.

This suspension of the law by OSHA does not change the fact that employers may be held liable under workers’ compensation laws or under civil personal injury laws, according to the nonprofit group Liberty Counsel.

Earlier in May, the website of OSHA, an agency within the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), stated that employers could be held liable if they required employees to receive COVID-19-related injections as a condition of employment and the employees then experience adverse reactions.

Why Covid rules on liquor, pot and telemedicine might last past the pandemic

From margaritas-to-go to marijuana deliveries to virtual doctor visits, the pandemic prompted states to ease rules to make life at home more bearable. But the looming end of emergency orders has teed up a lobbying frenzy in state capitals to make these Covid-era conveniences permanent fixtures in American life.

The rapid decline in new coronavirus cases as more Americans get vaccinated is spurring governors to consider winding down emergency declarations that made these perks possible. The adjournment of most state legislatures in the coming weeks is also fueling a sense of urgency to codify pandemic rules before lawmakers skip town for the year.

There Might be Volcanoes at the Bottom of Europa’s sub-ice Oceans

In about three years, NASA plans to launch a robotic orbiter that will study Jupiter’s mysterious moon Europa. It’s called the Europa Clipper mission, which will spend four years orbiting Europa to learn more about its ice sheet, interior structure, chemical composition, and plume activity. In the process, NASA hopes to find evidence that will help resolve the ongoing debate as to whether or not Europa harbors life in its interior.

Naturally, scientists are especially curious about what the Clipper mission might find, especially in Europa’s interior. According to new research and modeling supported by NASA, it’s possible that volcanic activity occurred on the seafloor in the recent past – which could be happening still. This research is the most detailed and thorough 3D modeling on how internal heat is produced and transferred and what effect this will have on a moon.

NASA Budget Request Revives Science, Maintains Focus on Lunar Landing

NASA’s first budget request under the Biden administration seeks funding increases toward science, STEM education, and the environment while maintaining its commitment to a lunar landing in just three years.

The 2022 presidential budget request, released this past Friday, May 28, is asking Congress for $24.8 billion. That’s a more than 6% increase from last year, in which NASA received $23.3 billion. Of this total, $7.93 billion would go towards scientific research, which represents the largest budget request for NASA science to date. Congress will now ruminate on the request and allocate funds as it sees fit.

NASA is referring to 2022 as the “year of innovation,” as the space agency hones in on science, aeronautics, space operations, space technology, and of course, the Artemis Moon program. Indeed, and as the budget request makes clear, NASA continues to operate under the assumption that it will land astronauts on the Moon in 2024, even if it remains an unrealistic target.

Mars: Nasa's Perseverance rover's first 100 days in pictures

Nasa's Perseverance rover is celebrating 100 Martian days (sols) since landing on Mars, where it is hunting for signs of past microbial life, and seeking to investigate the planet's geology and past climate.

Since touching down on 18 February, the robot has captured some amazing images from around its landing site, Jezero Crater, a 49km (30 mile) wide impact depression just north of the Red Planet's equator.

A small helicopter, Ingenuity, has also returned aerial images, having made history with the first powered, controlled flights on another planet.

Here is a selection of pictures sent back from the mission so far.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has begun an investigation into reports of myocarditis (heart inflammation) in people between 16 and 45 years of age after receiving either the genetically engineered experimental messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) BNT162b2 and mRNA-1273 biologics for COVID-19 developed by Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna/National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) respectively. The cases involve primarily males and they typically occur within four days of getting the second dose of the shots.1 2 3 4

About 125 cases of myocarditis following vaccination have been reported to the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) since January 2021, but public health officials say the relationship between the heart condition and the shots is unclear. At least 17 of the cases reportedly involve members of the U.S. military.4

Webmaster's Commentary:

That "... piece of genetic material" is experimental MRNA gene therapy, and that is why we have no understanding of what it will do in the human body, or what type of damage it will be capable of inflicting in the humans who got the jab with it, down the road.

117 employees sue Houston Methodist over COVID-19 vaccine requirement

The lawsuit claims Houston Methodist “is forcing its employees to be human ‘guinea pigs’ as a condition for continued employment."

HOUSTON — 117 employees have joined a lawsuit against Houston Methodist over its requirement that all employees receive a COVID-19 vaccine as a condition of employment.

According to Houston Methodist policy, employees have until June 7 to get vaccinated or risk losing their jobs.

The lawsuit claims Houston Methodist “is forcing its employees to be human ‘guinea pigs’ as a condition for continued employment,” calling the vaccine “experimental,” since it was granted emergency use authorization but has not received FDA approval.

Jennifer Bridges, a registered nurse who has worked for Houston Methodist for more than six years, spoke with KHOU 11 last month and said she planned to sue the hospital. Bridges said then she just isn’t ready to receive the vaccine and told KHOU 11 she wants more time so the FDA can gather more data and research.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It will be interesting how this lawsuit proceeds, because it will provide precedent, for turning American workers into unwilling lab rats, as a condition of employment, if the suit is overturned.

And I, for one, bristle at this, even if Mike and I DID take the J & J jab, to enable us to visit my Mom, who lives in an assisted living facility closeby.

An Orwellian Reversal on the Origins of Covid

It’s been decades since I last read George Orwell’s 1984, but portions of that classic dystopian novel have become part of our common political culture.

There’s that famous scene in which an orator is giving a lengthy wartime speech at a political rally, praising the heroic ally of Eurasia and denouncing the arch-foe of Eastasia, but then is quietly handed a note partway through and completely reverses himself, vilifying the former and hailing the latter. “We have always been at war with Eurasia.”

Mach 30 wind tunnel to ‘put China decades’ ahead in hypersonic race

A Chinese physicist has said that a new wind tunnel in Beijing to be unveiled “soon” will put China decades ahead of the rest of the world in hypersonic technology.

Chinese Academy of Sciences researcher Han Guilai told an online lecture last week that the JF-22 wind tunnel, in Beijing’s Huairou district, was capable of simulating flights at up to 10km per second – 30 times the speed of sound. Together with an existing facility, also in Beijing, it would put China “about 20 to 30 years ahead” of the West.

61-Year-Old Woman Living Near Wuhan Lab May Have Been 'Patient Zero' - Three Weeks Before CCP Claims First Case

Three weeks before China admitted that a mysterious virus was circulating in the city of Wuhan, a 61-year-old woman who lived about a mile from several bat research facility was known as "Patient Su" at a local hospital, according to the Daily Mail.

Her identity was accidentally revealed after a leading Chinese official sent a screen-grab to a medical journal which partially revealed personal information, including the fact that she was admitted to the Rongjun Hospital in Wuhan, and "almost certainly lived in the Kaile Guiyan community on Zhuodaoquan Street, about 600 metres from the medical centre."

What's more, "Patient Su" became ill three weeks before China claimed anyone had been stricken with the novel virus.

The academic then detailed two more suspected cases reported to Wuhan doctors on November 14 and 21, along with several others before December 8 – the date that China gave to the World Health Organisation for the ‘earliest onset case’.

Space Junk Damages Part Of International Space Station

Amid fears of increasing space junk in low Earth orbit, a robotic arm attached to the International Space Station (ISS) has been damaged by space junk.

Edible COVID-19 vaccine made with tomatoes

Within a year, researchers at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) would be in conditions to conclude the necessary trials for the production of an edible vaccine based on the intake of genetically modified tomatoes, which would stimulate the immune response of the body to generate antibodies against COVID-19.

Daniel Garza García, a biotechnologist of the UANL's School of Biological Sciences, is in charge of a team of six researchers that are searching for a way to battle the new coronavirus which, in less than six months, has infected over eight million people worldwide.

The Mexican scientist explains that using plants as a platform for the production of vaccines and drugs is an innovative strategy that offers important benefits for “made with plants” there are lower production costs, less time to obtain the antigenic product, and more security.

Covid-19 vaccine could become like yearly flu shot, say experts on Straits Times' panel discussion

A month ago, when the Covid-19 outbreaks in the United States and United Kingdom were 10 times worse than Singapore's, both places felt numbers were good enough to loosen restrictions and allow people to mingle more.

Singapore, at this point, tightened measures further, stopping dine-in at eateries and putting in place home-based learning for students, among others.

Professor Teo Yik Ying, dean of the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at the National University of Singapore, stressed Singapore's cautious approach in combating the virus at a live panel discussion organised by The Straits Times on Tuesday (June 1).

"On a per capita basis, the number of cases given the number of population each country has, Singapore's outbreak in May was actually 10 times less than what the UK and the US were experiencing at that time," he said.

Vaccine researcher admits ‘big mistake,’ says spike protein is dangerous ‘toxin’

New research shows that the coronavirus spike protein from COVID-19 vaccination unexpectedly enters the bloodstream, which is a plausible explanation for thousands of reported side-effects from blood clots and heart disease to brain damage and reproductive issues, a Canadian cancer vaccine researcher said last week.

“We made a big mistake. We didn’t realize it until now,” said Byram Bridle, a viral immunologist and associate professor at University of Guelph, Ontario, in an interview with Alex Pierson last Thursday, in which he warned listeners that his message was “scary.”

“We thought the spike protein was a great target antigen, we never knew the spike protein itself was a toxin and was a pathogenic protein. So by vaccinating people we are inadvertently inoculating them with a toxin,” Bridle said on the show, which is not easily found in a Google search but went viral on the internet this weekend.

Nature’s Most Powerful Pain Relievers

By Dr. Diane Fulton

Nature has safe nontoxic answers to the crisis of over-reliance and addiction to pain medications with their known harmful effects

Pain is increasingly a part of everyday life for many people. A century-old celestial mystery is one step closer to being solved as researchers discover a dozen ultra-powerful natural particle accelerators in our galaxy.

The findings help astronomers understand the origin of cosmic rays — charged particles and atomic nuclei flying through space at near light speed that have been imbued with mind-boggling amounts of energy.

Discovered in 1912, cosmic rays arrive from almost every direction in the Milky Way, though scientists have yet to determine exactly how they reach their ultra-fast speeds, according to NASA.

Many researchers suspected that cosmic rays are flung away from massive stars as they die in supernova explosions, Siming Liu, an astrophysicist with the Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu, told Live Science. During such events, “stars release the same amount of energy in two months as over their whole life,” he added

China reports sudden surge in COVID-19 cases causing flight cancellations

A sudden surge of COVID-19 cases in the southern region of China has caused a spate of flight cancellations.

On Sunday, 27 new cases were reported by China's national health authority, out of which only seven were imported, with the rest originating domestically in the Guangdong province, Reuters reports. Out of the 20 that originated in China, 18 were reported in the city of Guangzhou. The other two cases were reported in Foshan.

Nineteen asymptomatic cases were also reported in China, though the country does not count those as confirmed cases.

By the afternoon, more than 500 flights had been canceled at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. These account for more than a third of total flights that were scheduled for Monday, Reuters reports

THE VISIBLE SURFACE OF THE SUN, or the photosphere, is around 6,000°C. But a few thousand kilometers above it — a small distance when we consider the size of the Sun — the solar atmosphere, also called the corona, is hundreds of times hotter, reaching a million degrees Celsius or higher.

This spike in temperature, despite the increased distance from the Sun’s main energy source, has been observed in most stars and represents a fundamental puzzle that astrophysicists have mulled over for decades.

In 1942, the Swedish scientist Hannes Alfvén proposed an explanation. He theorized that magnetized waves of plasma could carry huge amounts of energy along the Sun’s magnetic field from its interior to the corona, bypassing the photosphere before exploding with heat in the Sun’s upper atmosphere.

Exoplanet Surveys are Leaning Towards the Possibility That our Solar System is… Normal

One of the unspoken caveats of most exoplanet discovery missions is that they only operate for a few years. Such a short observing window means there are planets with longer orbital periods, usually further out from the star, that those surveys would completely miss. Knowing this would be a problem, a team of astronomers arranged the California Legacy Survey three decades ago in order to monitor as many stars as possible for as long a time as possible. Recently they released their first results, which show solar systems that are surprisingly like our own.

The scary truth about Velociraptors

On screen, it’s portrayed as a smirking, stealthy pack hunter with a brain as sharp as its claws, but the Velociraptor we all know and fear is rather different to the animal that bobbed about the Late Cretaceous some 70 million years ago. Its appearance in Jurassic Park and the film’s sequels means the Velociraptor is, at once, one of the best known yet little understood dinosaurs that ever lived.

Palaeontologists have found Velociraptor fossils in central Asia and China, although related species have appeared in North and South America. It was a small, fast, carnivorous therapod that walked on three-toed feet with a distinctive sickle-shaped claw.

Not only was it smaller than the raptors in Jurassic Park, it also looked very different. A light, feathery coating that would have made it look more like an aggressive turkey than the scaly creatures we know from the movies.

X-Ray vision could help rescuers find survivors after earthquakes

Within seconds after reaching a city, earthquakes can cause immense destruction: Houses crumble, high-rises turn to rubble, people and animals are buried in the debris.

In the immediate aftermath of such carnage, emergency personnel desperately search for any sign of life in what used to be a home or office. Often, however, they find that they were digging in the wrong pile of rubble, and precious time has passed.

Imagine if rescuers could see through the debris to spot survivors under the rubble, measure their vital signs and even generate images of the victims. This is rapidly becoming possible using see-through-wall radar technology. Early versions of the technology that indicate whether a person is present in a room have been in use for several years, and some can measure vital signs albeit under better conditions than through rubble.

Could Spike Protein in Moderna, Pfizer Vaccines Cause Blood Clots, Brain Inflammation and Heart Attacks?

On Dec. 8, 2020, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) received a public submission from J. Patrick Whelan, M.D., Ph.D. The submission was in response to the agency’s request for comments regarding vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 in advance of the Dec. 10 meeting when the committee would review the Pfizer/BioNTech (BNT162b2) SARS-CoV-2 vaccine for emergency use authorization (EUA).

Whelan’s training (at Harvard, Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine) includes degrees in biochemistry, medicine and rheumatology. For 20 years, he worked as a pediatric rheumatologist. He currently specializes in treating children with multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C), which has been associated with coronavirus infections.

In his public submission, Whelan sought to alert the FDA about the potential for vaccines designed to create immunity to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein to instead cause injuries.

Serious Injuries From Merck’s Gardasil HPV Vaccine Significantly Underreported, Study Shows

Most people are unaware that many newly licensed vaccines are in phase 4 clinical trials when they become publicly available. In the case of the new COVID vaccines, which have not yet been licensed, consumers are unknowing subjects in a massive clinical trial.

The complete safety profile of a vaccine is unknown at the time of widespread use. The safety profile becomes more clear only after injuries and deaths related to the vaccine are reported. The safety profile of COVID vaccines, for instance, is still evolving as injuries and deaths accumulate.

It is thus crucially important that consumers and medical professionals report adverse events related to vaccines. According to studies, however, they report only about 1%.

Mass Vaccination Triggers Spike in Cases, Deaths

COVID cases have risen sharply in nearly every country that has launched a mass vaccination campaign

Cambodia began its vaccination campaign in early February after having compiled zero fatalities; after it started its vaccination program, the deaths started piling up

It could be that something in the vaccine itself is killing people

Salk researchers confirmed that the main damage from COVID is caused by the spike protein not the virus; if that’s the case, then why are we injecting people with vaccines that teach their cells to make spike proteins

118 million Americans have now been injected with a clot-generating spike protein; no one knows how long these potentially lethal proteins remain trapped in the lining of the blood vessels or what damage they might eventually do

Now that cases have dropped sharply across the U.S., why not ease up on the vaccinations until there is a better grasp of the long-term risks

I’m a doctor, but Covid’s broken my faith in medical research. I can’t believe anything I read or accept any mainstream facts

Those of us who put forward an alternative view to the prevailing orthodoxy on the virus or on vaccinations are being vilified, threatened and cancelled. This is not how science, or a functioning democracy, works.
I haven’t written for a while, sorry. Instead, I have been sorting out two complaints about my writing made to the General Medical Council (GMC). Also, a complaint from NHS England, and two irate phone calls from other doctors, informing me I shouldn’t make any negative comments about vaccines.

For those in other countries, or who don’t know about such things, doctors in the UK are ruled by many different organisations, all of whom feel able to make judgement and hand down various sanctions. The deadliest of them, the Spanish Inquisition if you like, is the GMC, who can strike you off the medical register and stop you working as a doctor. They have great power, with no oversight.

Cannabis Inhibits SARS-CoV-2 Replication in Human Lungs, Study Suggests

With the SARS-CoV-2 virus causing almost 3 million deaths worldwide, researchers have been scrambling to learn more about the deadly COVID-19 disease that has threatened global public health and world economies.

A new study, published on preprint server bioRxiv last week, suggests that a cannabis plant compound inhibited infection with SARS-CoV-2 in human lung cells.

According to the researchers at the University of Chicago in Illinois, cannabidiol (CBD), a chemical in the Cannabis sativa plant, also known as marijuana, and its metabolite 7-OH-CBD, blocked SARS-CoV-22 replication in lung epithelial cells. Epithelial cells are cells that come from body surfaces, such as the skin, blood vessels, urinary tract or organs.

EXCLUSIVE: COVID-19 'has NO credible natural ancestor' and WAS created by Chinese scientists who then tried to cover their tracks with 'retro-engineering' to make it seem like it naturally arose from bats, explosive new study claims

An explosive new study claims that Chinese scientists created COVID-19 in a Wuhan lab, then tried to cover their tracks by reverse-engineering versions of the virus to make it look like it evolved naturally from bats.

The paper's authors, British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen, wrote that they have had 'prima facie evidence of retro-engineering in China' for a year - but were ignored by academics and major journals.

Dalgleish is a professor of oncology at St George's University, London, and is best known for his breakthrough creating the first working 'HIV vaccine', to treat diagnosed patients and allow them to go off medication for months.

ABC's chief White House reporter: A lot of reporters have 'egg on their face' over Wuhan lab-leak theory

ABC News’ Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl admitted that many reporters were wrong to dismiss former President Trump’s assertion that the coronavirus originated from a laboratory.

Karl was asked on ABC’s "This Week," by guest host Martha Raddatz on why it matters that the lab-leak theory was initially met with dismissal or skepticism.

"Yes, I think a lot of people have egg on their face. This was an idea that was first put forward by Mike Pompeo, secretary of state, Donald Trump, and look some things may be true even if Donald Trump said them," Karl said. "Because Trump was saying so much else, that was just out of control, and because he was, you know, making a frankly racist appeal talking about kung-flu, and the China virus, he said flatly this came from that lab, and it was widely dismissed... but now serious people are saying it needs a serious inquiry."

Warming effect of greenhouse gases 'has been overestimated': Ice samples suggest pre-industrial air pollution was WORSE than we thought and future temperatures will rise more slowly

  • Experts analysed soot levels in 14 ice cores from Antarctica dating back to 1750
  • They found that pre-industrial soot levels were four times higher than expected
  • Soot has an atmospheric cooling effect, in opposition to greenhouse gases
  • Climate models must account for both to understand past temperature changes
  • That soot levels were higher that thought means that modelling is likely off
  • While the planet is still warming, it is likely not doing so slower than we thought

Antarctic ice has revealed that pre-industrial air pollution was worse than thought, suggesting climate models have overstated the warming from greenhouse gases.

Key to modelling the climate of the future is understanding how the rate at which surface temperatures are likely to rise in response to greenhouse gas levels.

COVID Vaccine Injury Reports Among 12- to 17-Year-Olds More Than Triple in 1 Week, VAERS Data Show

Every Friday, VAERS makes public all vaccine injury reports received as of a specified date, usually about a week prior to the release date. Today’s data show that between Dec. 14, 2020 and May 21, a total of 262,521total adverse events were reported to VAERS, including 4,406 deaths — an increase of 205 over the previous week — and 21,537 serious injuries, up 3,009 since last week.

This week’s data showed 3,449 total adverse events, compared with 943 reports last week, among 12- to 17-year-olds. This week’s data included 58 reports of serious adverse events in the 12- to -17-year-old age group.

"Rare earth elements" such as cobalt and lithium are just some of the materials that make up lithium-ion batteries. The problem, however, lies within procuring these items morally and ethically.

Vietnam Finds New ‘Hybrid’ Covid-19 Coronavirus Variant, What This Really Means

Just keep mutating. Just keep mutating. That’s what the Covid-19 coronavirus is gonna do. And over time that’s gonna keep resulting in more and more versions of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2), otherwise known as variants.

Case in point, the country of Vietnam appears to have found yet another Covid-19 coronavirus variant. Writing for The Guardian, Agence France-Presse quoted Nguyen Thanh Long, Vietnam’s Health Minister, as saying, “We have discovered a new hybrid variant from the Indian and the UK strains.”

The word “hybrid” may conjure up images of the B.1.1.7 variant (first found in the U.K.) and the B.1.617.2 variant (first found in India) finding each other on Tinder, swiping right with their spike proteins, and then meeting up in a seedy motel. There they may put on Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On,” while spiking their protein so to speak, resulting in little love child viruses, right? Uh, not exactly.

COVID-19 pandemic was described in 2005 CIA report about the world in 2025

The report, which was written in September 2005, was described by Alexander Adler in his book "The New CIA Report. What will be the new face of the world in 2025?" The book was published in Western countries in 2005-2009.

The CIA, as usual, tried to predict the future of the world for 15-20 years in advance. Surprisingly, the report gives accurate description of the global pandemic. In the chapter entitled "A Possible Outbreak of a Global Pandemic," CIA experts described a scenario that looks very similar to COVID-19.

They predicted "the emergence of a new, highly contagious, virulent human respiratory disease for which there is no adequate treatment and which could cause a global pandemic."

Govt ‘absolutely thinking’ about mandatory Covid jabs for health workers, UK vaccine minister says

UK Covid-19 Vaccine Deployment Minister Nadhim Zahawi revealed that the government was “absolutely thinking about” making vaccination against the coronavirus mandatory for healthcare staffers during an interview with Sky News.

After being asked whether the government would make vaccination compulsory for NHS staff in the near future, Zahawi replied that they have “been consulting in terms of a condition of deployment into social care” and that “it’s only right that we look at the healthcare system as well.”

Calling it “absolutely the right thing,” Zahawi said it would be “incumbent on any responsible government to have the debate” about how to protect the most vulnerable “by making sure those who look after them are vaccinated.”
