US General Will not Commit To Stopping Afghan Airstrikes Ever

Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr., the top general managing operations in Afghanistan, told reporters on Sunday that “logistical support” would continue past the deadline, yet, he went on, “I’m just not going to be able to comment about the future of U.S. airstrikes after [the] Aug. 31” deadline, according to the New York Times.
