Uber drops ex-NFL player from ad campaign after he opposes school mask mandates

Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler says he was dropped from an advertising campaign for Uber Eats delivery service after siding with Tennessee parents protesting against mask mandates for elementary school children.

“Lost a commercial with Uber Eats partnering with the NFL,” Cutler tweeted on Friday. “Was going to film in LA, ‘views aren't aligned.’ Guess they don't like future school board members. Frees up my weekend.”
