Russian oil shipments hit record high

Nearly 62 million barrels of Russia’s flagship Urals crude oil, a record amount, are currently in tankers at sea, according to data from energy analytics firm Vortexa, as cited by Reuters.

However, traders are reportedly struggling to find buyers for some of the cargo as EU countries fail to agree on a possible Russian oil ban. Other buyers have reportedly been shunning Russian crude due to fears of future sanctions.

According to Vortexa, the volume of Urals crude oil on the water is triple the average recorded before February 24, when Russia’s military operation was launched in Ukraine.

“The headline numbers, showing Russian exports are still relatively strong, don’t tell the full story,” Houston-based energy strategist Clay Seigle said, as quoted by Reuters. “Russian oil at sea is continuing to accumulate.”

The Same FBI Agents that Knew Hillary Was Behind Trump-Russia Lie Were Members of Mueller Team that Ignored This Fact

The FBI agents who knew Hillary was behind the Trump – Russia lie were the same agents on the Mueller team who neglected to include this important information in Mueller’s report.

In one of the debates, Hillary Clinton made a big deal about her lie that candidate Trump was involved with Russia. She lied and we all knew it.

A few days ago TGP asked why the Mueller and Weissmann gang never uncovered that Hillary was behind the Trump – Russia lie?

GREAT QUESTION: After Spending Three Years and Millions of Dollars, How Did Mueller and Weissmann Not Figure Out Hillary Created the Russia Hoax?

The reason Hillary was never mentioned as being behind the Trump – Russia lie is because the Mueller gang didn’t want to report it. We know this because the same agents who knew Hillary was behind this crime were also members of the Mueller gang.

SHOCKING GEORGIA ELECTION CRIMES UNCOVERED: 1.7 Million Ballot Images Illegally Destroyed – Video Monitoring Missing for 181,000 Drop Box Ballots

In a press conference on Monday VoterGA shared some more shocking information related to criminal actions in the 2020 Election in Georgia.

VoterGA is a non-profit, non-partisan, tax-exempt organization created by a coalition of citizens working to restore election integrity in Georgia.

In their press conference on Monday VoterGA reported that they have identified more illegal actions from the 2020 Election in the state.

VoterGA announced today their dropbox video survey team determined that 102 Georgia counties were unable to produce dropbox surveillance videos from the November 2020 election. The team obtained admissions from 72 counties that all of the videos intended to monitor drop boxes for ballot trafficking were destroyed. VoterGA volunteers made the determinations by submitting Open Records Requests (ORR) for the videos from each county. Thus, video monitoring is missing for 181,507 cast ballots.

At a November 9, 2021 press conference, VoterGA announced that their ballot image analysis team determined at least 70 Georgia counties were unable to produce all the original ballot images from the November 2020 election. Digital ballot images are created automatically by the Dominion voting system for results tabulation. The team obtained admissions from 56 counties that most or all of their ballot images were unavailable. A total of 1.7 million images were destroyed.

Video: CNN Host Stelter Sad Over Demise Of ‘Ministry Of Truth’

After CNN’s potato headed weirdo Brian Stelter declared he was sad about a literal Ministry of Truth being put on hold by the Biden administration, Tucker Carlson mocked his ‘paralyzing stupidity’ and compared him to a character from George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984.

Carlson played clips of Stelter expressing annoyance that conservatives outed the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Disinformation Governance Board and its leader Nina Jankowicz as authoritarian, leading to it being mothballed.

“By far the most entertaining person Joe Biden has appointed to anything was that Nina woman he put in charge of the Ministry of Truth,” Carlson said, adding that “She was so ridiculous and provably so that she’s out.”

“But at CNN, they are sad. They wanted her there forever,” Carlson continued.

Carlson asserted that Stelter “loved the idea of a Ministry of Truth,” because the CNN clown is himself “basically lifted directly from the pages of 1984, the Orwell novel.”

CDC Tracking More Than 200 People in Massachusetts for Signs of Monkeypox

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is tracking more than 200 people in Massachusetts who were in contact with the first confirmed monkeypox patient in the U.S., the New York Post reports.

The CDC also released a level-2 travel alert over the spread of the virus on Monday, advising people to “practice enhanced precautions,” while warning that the rare disease is fatal in up to 11% of people who become infected.

According to the CDC, symptoms include fever of 100.4 degrees or higher, headache, muscle aches, and swollen lymph nodes, followed by a rash. Skin lesions generally develop at the same time and progress through several stages on any part of the body before falling off. Patients are usually ill for two to four weeks.

Blacks in Georgia Are Surging to the Polls Despite Being 'Suppressed' by 'Jim Crow' Voter Law

It’s the greatest non-news event of the year. News outlets are rushing not to cover it. They’re scrambling every which way to avoid it. It’s as if the massive number of early voters in Georgia who are black isn’t really happening, and it’s just another effort at disinformation by Republicans that the media can safely ignore.

But it’s not. The Georgia Secretary of State’s Office has released early voting figures that show 102,056 more black voters have cast early votes in this year’s primary elections than in 2018 — more than three times the number of blacks casting early votes in 2018.

Someone forgot to wake up Jim Crow and remind him he’s supposed to be suppressing the black vote.

Fox’s Katie Pavlich Reveals Interesting Take on Supreme Court Leaker

Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich believes Democrats want to “ignore the leak” from the U.S. Supreme Court, arguing that it follows a pattern of Democrats trying to undermine the court.

During an interview on Fox News, Pavlich spoke about the Supreme Court reportedly voting in favor of striking down the controversial Roe v. Wade decision.

A draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito was leaked to Politico last week it set off a firestorm on social media. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts called the leak of a draft opinion “absolutely appalling” and announced an investigation to find the leaker.

Pavlich argued there may not be much motivation to identify the leaker.

70-year-old Florida woman shoots, kills suspected home intruder: 'I’m a fighter'

A 70-year-old Florida woman shot and killed a suspected home intruder who allegedly wouldn’t leave the residence even after the woman fired off a warning shot.

"I didn’t know what he was going to do, but I knew I was going to protect myself. I’m a fighter. I’m going to defend myself," Virginia Morrison told FOX 35 News.

The stranger, later identified as Ezequiel Rosario-Torres, 38, reportedly walked into Morrison’s Orange County home Sunday afternoon. Morrison said she tried to get him out of the house by hitting him with a broom, but Rosario-Torres reportedly swatted the broom away.

'WE CANNOT END THIS POLICY': Moderate Dems Go Against Joe on Title 42, 'Reckless' to End It

While the Biden Administration is appealing a federal court’s ruling to block Title 42’s termination, moderate Democrats are lining up with a warning for Joe: ending Title 42 without proper preparation is reckless.

“Ending Title 42 without a path forward is wrong and reckless,” said Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH). “Lifting Title 42 without the appropriate staffing and resources we need will only exacerbate the problems that have contributed to our broken immigration system. We cannot end this policy without a comprehensive plan in place.”

Heading further north, Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH) has concerns, as well.

“As courts consider Title 42, Sen. Hassan will continue to share her concerns about prematurely lifting Title 42 and will continue pressing the administration on ways to have a safe, secure and humane border,” Laura Epstein, a spokesperson for Hassan, said.

Lifting Title 42 is obviously unpopular in states closer to the border, too.

BREAKING: Indiana senate overturns governor's veto, bans biological males from competing in women's sports

Indiana lawmakers met on Tuesday to overturn Governor Eric Holcolm's March veto of a bill that would have prevented biological males from competing in women and girls' sports. The vote passed 32 to 15 and will go into effect on July 1.

In March when he vetoed the bill, Holcomb said "that the legislation doesn't provide a consistent policy for what he called 'fairness in K-12 sports,'" reported local news.

Texas Supreme Court Allows Gender Transitions In Children To Be Investigated As Child Abuse

The Lone Star state is at the forefront of the fight against gender ideology. And it is no wonder why. Texas is a bastion of conservative and traditional values — the values upon which our nation was founded. Resultantly, Texas upholds the integrity of God’s creation, and she seeks to protect that creation at all costs.

That principle extends to the use of reconstructive surgeries and puberty blockers in children. But Texas’ hardline stance against gender ideology is not proof that she hates those who struggle with a discontinuity in their mental state and their biological appearance.

She loves them and wishes them the best — both spiritually and physically. But it is not right to promote an inherently divisive ideology in the school system, or as we shall see today, in the medical industry.

High-profile NFT auctions from Beeple, Madonna flop amid crypto crash

The once-sizzling market for NFTs has become a spectacular bust, as high-profile auctions increasingly flop and investors who plunked down millions for bizarre digital artworks now struggle to unload them at a tiny fraction of what they paid.

Last spring, the little-known crypto artist Beeple sold an NFT for an eye-popping $69 million. This month, he revealed he’d been working with Madonna for a year to create a trio of racy NFTs that depicted the “Material Girl” giving birth to a tree, a centipede, and butterflies.

They sold for $135,000, $346,000 and $146,000, respectively.

“It was unexpectedly low,” Nick Rose, founder and CEO of NFT platform Ethernity Chain, told The Post.

The flop wasn’t unusual, however, amid the carnage that lately has engulfed so-called NFTs, or nonfungible tokens, which are unique digital assets on the blockchain that are often used for art. Last March, Bridge Oracle CEO Sina Estavi bought an NFT of Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey’s first tweet for $2.9 million, calling it the “Mona Lisa of the digital world.” Last month, he scrapped an auction to resell it after the highest bid came in below $14,000.

There’s a Backup Plan, Right?

Gabriel Debenedetti: “As far as Biden’s camp is concerned, there isn’t any ambiguity about 2024 at all. He has said in private that he sees himself as the only thing standing between the country and the Trumpian abyss and has instructed his aides to redouble their planning for a rematch.”

Said an exasperated longtime Biden adviser: “People ask me with some regularity, ‘When is Biden going to come out and say what he’s going to do?’ And I say, ‘Well, he has!’”

“Relatively few people outside the White House totally buy it. With Trumpism reascendant, ambivalence about Biden’s age and political standing is fueling skepticism just as the image of his understudy, Vice-President Kamala Harris, dips even further than his.”

On the 40th Anniversary Of The Israeli Plan To Attack Iran

Later this month the US will join in an Israeli mock attack on Iran by offering mid-air refueling to Israeli jets. This is nonsense. Israel has been claiming since 1988 that Iran is months away from developing nuclear weapons. There is no such program. Iran has a nuclear power plant but has neither nuclear weapons nor a program to make them.

If Israel were ever to attack Iran, the response of Iran, Syria and Hezbollah would devastate Israel. It would be akin to Israeli self-immolation. And the US military would become engaged in a hot war they could not win without nuclear weapons.

My mother used to say, “England is always willing to fight to the last American.” We could truthfully revise that for the modern era by saying “Israel is willing to fight to the last American.”

40 years ago, Oded Yinon, an Israeli journalist with ties to the Mossad, first announced the plan to attack Iran. US General Wesley Clark told us that the 2001 Neocon version of the plan was for the US to attack 7 Muslim nations in 5 years. The nations in order were: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and finishing off with Iran.

Southern Baptist leaders say they will release list of alleged sex abusers

Two days after an explosive report concluded that its leaders mishandled and covered up sex abuse claims, leaders of the Southern Baptist Convention said at a public meeting Tuesday that they would release names from a list of alleged abusers they kept secretly for years. They also said that they owe abuse survivors an apology and that the huge denomination must fundamentally change its culture.

The report released Sunday sent shock waves through the country’s largest Protestant denomination. It said leaders maintained a secret database of alleged sexual abusers and found that a top leader was credibly accused of assaulting a woman a month after leaving the presidency of the 13 million-member convention.

An attorney for the SBC’s administrative arm, the Executive Committee, said it is working on making the list of sex abusers available to the public Thursday once the committee makes sure the names of survivors are not disclosed and ensures the names of abusers are substantiated.

One Billion People At Risk Of Power Blackouts As Global Grids Stretched

This summer, power grids worldwide won’t produce enough electricity to meet the soaring demand, threatening more than one billion people with rolling blackouts. Grids are stretched thin by fossil fuel shortages, drought and heatwaves, commodity disruptions and soaring prices due to the war in Ukraine, and the failed green energy transition where grid operators retired too many fossil fuel generation plants. Combine this all together, and a perfect storm of blackouts threatens much of the Northern Hemisphere.

The power crisis, affecting a large swath of the world and top economies, could be less than a month away when summer begins on June 21. Regions that concerned Bloomberg are Asia, Europe, and the US, where there’s not enough power to go around when cooling demand is set to surge as households crank up their air conditions to escape the sweltering heat.

UK Backs Plan to Escort Grain Ships Past Russia’s Naval Blockade of Ukraine

The United Kingdom supports a proposal by Lithuania to recruit an international fleet of naval warships to break the Russian blockade of Ukraine which is preventing the export of huge amounts of grain to the rest of the world.

Millions of tons of grain are stuck inside Ukraine and without it, levels of world hunger are considered highly likely to rise and may even trigger another migrant crisis. Such is the background to the suggestion by Lithuania that a so-called “coalition of the willing” of warships outside the structures of NATO could work together on getting food out of Ukraine’s seaports.

The remarks of Lithuanian foreign minister, Gabrielius Landsbergis, proposing the plan to build a naval coalition were reported Monday by The Guardian, which recorded him as saying: “Time is very very short. We are closing in on a new harvest and there is no other practical way of exporting the grain except through the Black Sea port of Odesa… There is no way of storing this grain and no other adequate alternative route.”

Israeli lawmaker warns Palestinians of another ‘Nakba’ if they fly Palestinian flag

A member of the Israeli parliament, Israel Katz, warned Palestinians of another “Nakba” if they fly the Palestinian flag. The Likud lawmaker put up a video on his twitter this morning featuring him speaking at the parliament, with the message:

Yesterday I warned the Arab students, who are flying Palestine flags at universities: Remember 48. Remember our independence war and your Nakba, don’t stretch the rope too much. […] If you don’t calm down we’ll teach you a lesson that won’t be forgotten.

His actual speech elaborates a bit more:

Ask your elders, your grandfathers and grandmothers, and they will explain to you that in the end, the Jews awaken, they know to defend themselves and the idea of the Jewish state. Don’t stretch the rope too much.

The plenum seems to be quite empty, but Palestinian Israeli lawmaker Aida Touma-Sliman from the Joint List of Palestinian parties is there, and at this point she counters him: “Are you threatening?”

Shireen Abu Akleh was ‘shot dead in targeted attack’ by Israel, CNN investigation concludes

Today CNN published its own investigation of the killing of Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh on May 11, and it says that new eyewitnesses, videos and ballistic analysis bear out what Abu Akleh’s colleagues said that day: The AlJazeera correspondent was targeted by an Israeli sniper positioned about 600 feet away from her with a clear line of sight.

CNN’s team of six journalists writes:

[A]n investigation by CNN offers new evidence — including two videos of the scene of the shooting — that there was no active combat, nor any Palestinian militants, near Abu Akleh in the moments leading up to her death. Videos obtained by CNN, corroborated by testimony from eight eyewitnesses, an audio forensic analyst and an explosive weapons expert, suggest that Abu Akleh was shot dead in a targeted attack by Israeli forces.

Sussmann trial: MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC ignore testimony that Clinton OK’d leaking of Trump-Russian allegations

MSNBC, ABC News, NBC News and CBS News have nearly completely ignored Friday’s bombshell testimony in which former Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook testified Clinton approved the dissemination of materials to the media alleging a secret communications channel between the Trump Organization and a Russian bank, despite campaign officials not being "totally confident" in the legitimacy of the data.

"Left-wing media outlets shout from the rooftops that disinformation matters and is a threat to democracy. Unless, of course, it makes Democrats or the press look bad," radio host Jason Rantz told Fox News Digital.

The mainstream media has largely avoided covering the trial of ex-Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, who has been charged with making a false statement to the FBI. He told former FBI General Counsel James Baker in September 2016 that he was not doing work "for any client" when he requested and attended a meeting where he presented data and white papers allegedly demonstrating a backchannel between the Trump Organization and the Kremlin-tied Alfa Bank.

Latest Bad News About COVID Vaccines: Pfizer and FDA Knew Vaccines Were Not ‘Safe and Effective’

A previously healthy 36-year-old mother of two died 11 days after receiving a Pfizer COVID-19 shot; her death was deemed to be caused by myocarditis due to the shot

Emergency calls for cardiac arrest and acute coronary syndrome increased more than 25% among 16- to 39-year-olds from January to May 2021, compared to the same time period in 2019 and 2020

Pfizer deliberately excluded pregnant women from COVID-19 shot trials; the recommendation that the shots are safe and effective for pregnant women was based on a 42-day study involving 44 rats

Research conducted by the New York State Department of Health found the shots’ effectiveness declined rapidly among 5- to 11-year-olds, falling from 68% to just 12%

Considering the adverse effects and lack of effectiveness, many have called for an immediate withdrawal of the shots

Top Airline Pilot Suffers Cardiac Arrest Between Flights Post Mandatory COVID Vaccination

Robert Snow, a pilot for American Airlines, one of the top 3 largest airlines in the country, has 31 years of commercial airline experience and additionally seven years of experience as a U.S. Air Force pilot.

Snow says that he might not be able to fly again after he suffered a cardiac arrest only 6 or 7 minutes after landing a plane he piloted from Denver to Dallas Fort Worth (DFW).

He still had two more flights scheduled on April 9.

He believes that his cardiac arrest is connected to the Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccine he was forced to take in order to keep his job on Nov. 4, 2021, even though he already had natural immunity from previously contracting the virus.

Dr. Peter McCullough, a world-renowned cardiologist, told Newsmax that Snow’s case fits a “pattern.”

“There is no other explanation,” McCullough said about Snow’s case since Snow has no coronary disease.

“The MRI pattern is consistent,” the doctor said. “Indeed, it may have been vaccine-induced myocarditis with a late manifestation of cardiac death.”

In addition, he told The Epoch Times that he has received “several phone calls and communications from friends in the industry that do think that they might have had issues with a vaccine.”

Holding U.S. Treasurys? Beware: Uncle Sam Can’t Account for $21 Trillion

In two prior columns, which can be accessed here and here, Mark Skidmore and I wrote about the $21 trillion in federal government transactions in the Departments of Defense (DOD) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that our government indicated were undocumented and unexplained.

As the concerns and questions we raised gained traction, investigative reporter Dave Lindorff dug into the issue, recently publishing the article “Exclusive: The Pentagon’s Massive Accounting Fraud Exposed” in The Nation (2018).

Based on a series of interviews with current and former government officials, Lindorff concluded that Pentagon accounting is “phony”, composed of made up numbers designed to obfuscate and thus propelling “US military spending higher year after year”.

The issue received additional attention in the media when incoming Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez referred to the $21 trillion in a Tweet:

$21 TRILLION of Pentagon financial transactions “could not be traced, documented, or explained.” $21T in Pentagon accounting errors. Medicare for All costs ~$32T. That means %66% of Medicare for All could have been funded already by the Pentagon. And that’s before premiums.

World Economic Forum (WEF): Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Opening Speech, Money Weapons Advisors, — Standing Ovation

The Davos World Economic Forum (WEF) opened officially its 51st Forum today, 23 May 2022. Klaus Schwab invited Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy to give the opening speech. The Key Note for the WEF, so to speak. Zelenskyy spoke on video from somewhere in Ukraine, in his traditional military green brown shirt. He spoke with his by now well-known demanding, rather than asking, in rather shrewd language.

First, the west received a little-bit of Zelenskyy’s praise for supporting Ukraine with money, weapons and NATO advisors to fight Russia, in most everybody’s Davos-mind, the aggressor. But that’s not enough. Then came the hammer, Zelenskyy asked for more. For much more, money, weapons – sophisticated weapons – billions and billions more. To fight Russia.

Saudi Arabia Finalising Extension of $3 Billion Deposit to Pakistan -Finance Minister

Saudi Arabia is finalising the extension of the kingdom's $3 billion deposit to Pakistan, Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed al-Jadaan told Reuters.

"We are currently finalising extending the $3 billion deposit to Pakistan," he said on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Last year, Saudi Arabia deposited $3 billion in Pakistan's central bank to help support its foreign reserves.

UK to forcibly deport Kurdish asylum seekers to Erbil soon: sources

Hundreds of Kurdish asylum seekers in the United Kingdom, many of whom have cases pending decisions, have been detained by police and will likely be forceful deported to Erbil by the end of this month, Iraqi lawmakers and Kurdish activists in the UK told The New Arab.

"I have spoken with nearly 20 Kurdish asylum seekers who are now being detained at a deportation centre in the UK. The asylum seekers are scheduled to be deported to Erbil International Airport by May 31," Arian Taugozi, Kurdish Iraqi member of parliament from the For the Sake of People coalition, and a member of the parliament's foreign relations committee told The New Arab in a phone interview.

"What has increased our suspicions regarding a secret deal between the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the UK home office to deport Kurdish asylum seekers is that Erbil International Airport is open for the deportation process. If the airport will not be open to the waiting deportation flight, then the UK cannot carry out its deportation plan," he added.

China claims sabotage as UN rights official visits Xinjiang

China on Tuesday said the U.S., Britain and other foreign powers are seeking to sabotage its foreign relations by orchestrating criticism surrounding a trip by the top United Nations official for human rights.

China has long held back the fact-finding mission led by Michelle Bachelet, focused on allegations of mass confinement, forced labor and compulsory birth control measures imposed on members of the Uyghur, Kazakh and other Muslim minorities.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin went on the offensive over such criticisms Tuesday, saying “the U.S., Britain and other Western countries have been repeatedly staging political farces around the U.N. high commissioner for human rights’ visit to China.”

“They have first openly pressured and strongly demanded that the high commissioner visit China and Xinjiang, and conducted the so-called investigation with presumption of guilt,” Wang said at a daily briefing.

EU Proposes to Make Seizing Assets Easier, Including of Sanctioned Oligarchs -Document

The European Commission wants to make it easier to confiscate assets linked to serious illegal activities and suspected criminals, including those evading European Union sanctions against the Kremlin, according to a draft document seen by Reuters.

The legislative proposal, due to be published on Wednesday and still subject to changes, is aimed at addressing a longstanding weakness in the EU where many states lack sufficiently robust legal frameworks to seize criminal assets, making it easier for criminals to hide their resources and benefit from illegal activities.

The war in Ukraine further exposed this weakness, as many states are struggling to freeze assets of people sanctioned by the EU for their ties to the Kremlin - and many more lack legal powers to confiscate frozen assets.

The legislative proposal would address these weaknesses by creating a common legal framework.

Russia inches closer to debt default as US lets key waiver expire

Russia will get pushed closer to a potential default after the US Treasury Department said it will let a key sanctions waiver benefitting American investors expire.

US banks and individuals will be barred from accepting bond payments from Russia’s government after 12:01 a.m. New York time on Wednesday, when a license that has so-far allowed the cash to flow ends, Treasury said in a statement on Tuesday.

Leaked Document Between Bill Gates And WHO From 2021 Correctly ‘Predicted’ The Exact Day Monkeypox Outbreak Would Begin

According to a leaked document from 2021, Bill Gates and the World Health Organization “predicted” a monkeypox biological attack on May 15, 2022, which just so happens to be the exact same day as the current monkeypox outbreak.

That’s quite the coincidence.

In a November 2021 report, NTI looked at the outbreak of the monkeypox virus in the fictional country of Brinia on May 15, 2022, which was the focus of the March biowarfare game.

Under their fictitious scenario, “the initial outbreak was caused by a terrorist attack using a pathogen engineered in a laboratory with inadequate biosafety and biosecurity provisions and weak oversight.”

The World Health Organization, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, both the Chinese and American CDCs, and other major organizations took part in the surreptitious event.

Exclusive–Roger Marshall: ‘War Zone’ at U.S.-Mexico Border ‘Worse’ than What I Saw at Poland-Ukraine Border

Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS), one of only 11 Senate Republicans who voted against a $40 billion aid package for Ukraine, says the “war zone” at the United States-Mexico border is “much worse” than what he witnessed at the Poland-Ukraine border.

While visiting the U.S.-Mexico border over the last few days, Marshall exclusively told SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Daily in an interview that the “human tragedy” he has seen from human smuggling to drug trafficking is “the most threatening situation” facing Americans, not the war in Ukraine.

Federal Coronavirus Relief Funds Used to Pay Nikole Hannah-Jones Speaking Fee

Nikole Hannah-Jones, the non-historian behind the widely discredited New York Times “1619 Project,” will be receiving coronavirus relief funds from a New Jersey library to cover her speaking fees.

Maplewood Library is one of 200 libraries in the country to receive a grant “for libraries affected by the pandemic” from the American Library Association’s American Rescue Plan: Humanities Grants for Libraries.

In a piece written for the Village Green announcing its event with Hannah-Jones, the library said, “Maplewood Library will use the $10,000 in funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities to rejuvenate its post-pandemic programming for the community.”

China Ready to Cash In with Monkeypox Test Kits and Vaccines

China’s state-run Global Times on Monday boasted that Chinese companies are already prepared to cash in on monkeypox panic with nucleic acid test kits and vaccines.

“Several Chinese test kit makers reached by the Global Times on Monday said they have developed nucleic acid test kits for monkeypox, which can be quickly put into mass production and on the domestic market once approved by the government,” the Chinese Communist newspaper reported.

“Meanwhile, experts pointed out that there are no technological problems in developing a vaccine against monkeypox and a rapid special review by China’s drug administration could help the country develop the vaccine in roughly a year,” the Global Times added.

China has not reported any monkeypox infections in the current outbreak, but Chinese social media is bubbling with conspiracy theories that the U.S. government weaponized the disease and is deliberately spreading it – theories built on the Chinese government’s irresponsible blame-shifting allegations that America developed Chinese coronavirus — which originated in China — in a military lab.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is triumphant in Georgia: Trump scores two wins in the Peach State after ex-football star Herschel Walker’s Senate Republican primary victory

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has won her primary in Georgia's 14th Congressional District on Tuesday night.

The firebrand lawmaker scored a victory in her first re-election bid, nabbing more than 70 percent of the vote with just over half the ballots counted.

While her divisive style has earned her criticism from Democrats and a myriad of national headlines, it appears that Donald Trump’s all-important endorsement prevailed with Greene’s constituents.

Gunman kills 19 children, 2 adults in Texas school rampage

Ramos had hinted on social media that an attack could be coming, according to state Sen. Roland Gutierrez, who said he had been briefed by state police. He noted that the gunman “suggested the kids should watch out,” and that he had bought two “assault weapons” after turning 18.

Webmaster addition: If yu say there are only tweo genders you are immediately flagged and deplatformed, but in this case (and Buffalo) the shooters telegraphed their intentions and nothing was done. It's becoming obvious these shootings are being allowed to happen to push the gun-grab agenda!

Economy bigger priority than punishing Russia: AP-NORC poll

Americans are becoming less supportive of punishing Russia for launching its invasion of Ukraine if it comes at the expense of the U.S. economy, a sign of rising anxiety over inflation and other challenges, according to a new poll.

While broad support for U.S. sanctions has not faltered, the balance of opinion on prioritizing sanctions over the economy has shifted, according to the poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. Now 45% of U.S. adults say the nation’s bigger priority should be sanctioning Russia as effectively as possible, while slightly more — 51% — say it should be limiting damage to the U.S. economy.

In April, those figures were exactly reversed. In March, shortly after Russia attacked Ukraine, a clear majority — 55% — said the bigger priority should be sanctioning Russia as effectively as possible.

The shifts in opinion reflect how rising prices are biting into American households — surging costs for gas, groceries, and other commodities have strained budgets for millions of people — and perhaps limiting their willingness to support Ukraine financially. That may be a troubling sign for President Joe Biden, who on Saturday approved an additional $40 billion in funding to help Ukraine including both weapons and financial assistance. The poll shows low faith in him to handle the situation, and an overall approval rating that hit the lowest point of his presidency.

Arsenal of Autocracy?

These are good times to be an arms maker. Not only are tens of billions of dollars in new military spending headed for the coffers of this country’s largest weapons contractors, but they’re being praised as defenders of freedom and democracy, thanks to their role in arming Ukraine to fight the Russians. The last time the industry gained such a sterling reputation was during World War II when it was lauded as the “arsenal of democracy” for fueling the fight against fascism.

Raytheon CEO Greg Hayes recently underscored this point in an interview with the Harvard Business Review. While discussing how he should respond to criticism of his company benefiting from a rise in sales right now, he said:

“Look, we don’t apologize for making these systems, making these weapons. The fact is, they are incredibly effective in deterring and dealing with the threat that the Ukrainians are seeing today… I think again recognizing that we are there to defend democracy and the fact is eventually we will see some benefit in the business over time.”

Iraq’s Stalemate Risks New Intra-Shi’ite Clashes

An October 10 election didn’t leave any obvious path to a majority government in Iraq, but the delays and stalemates that have resulted are starting to raise tensions and risk new intra-Shi’ite conflicts.

The Sadrist Trend won the plurality in October, for whatever good it does them. They’ve got allies among Sunni Arabs and Kurds as a path for trying to form a coalition, but that’s been resisted by a rival Shi’ite group, the State of Law, effectively blocking the Sadrist coalition and trying to force a unity deal.

Sadr is ruling out that idea, saying that he absolutely will not allow a return to a “consensus” government. Both sides say they won’t accept the other side’s position forever.

Former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders wins GOP nomination for Arkansas governor's race, sparking speculation Trump will choose her as his VP if she wins and he runs in 2024

Former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders won the Republican nomination for Arkansas governor on Tuesday after running on national issues and blasting Joe Biden.

Sanders defeated former talk radio host and podcaster Doc Washburn, who mounted a long shot bid for the GOP nomination in the primary.

She raised more than $15 million in campaign funds, far more than any of her rivals, and was backed by her former White House boss Donald Trump.

Sanders, whose dad Mike Huckabee served as Governor of Arkansas between 1996 and 2007, is a favorite to win the November election.

If she clinches her anticipated victory, she will also be a strong contender for Trump's vice presidential pick should he choose to run for president again in 2024.

Billionaires at war! Elon Musk deepens feud with Bill Gates by touting article claiming the Microsoft mogul poured MILLIONS into 'dark money fund' targeting him

Elon Musk has deepened his feud with fellow billionaire Bill Gates, tweeting in response to an article claiming that Gates is funding his critics.

Musk on Tuesday tweeted 'sigh' in response to a link to a Breitbart article claiming that Gates' foundation donated 'hundreds of millions of dollars' to numerous groups behind a campaign pushing advertisers to boycott Twitter if Musk takes over.

The article says the Gates Foundation donated to 11 of the 26 signatories of an open letter pushing the boycott, distributing the cash through the New Venture Fund and the Tides Foundation, which have been characterized as 'dark money' groups.

It follows an escalating feud between Musk and Gates, who recently criticized the Tesla CEO's plan to buy Twitter for $44 billion.

Two new reports from university think-tanks call attention to surveillance and profiling — including surveillance of, and action against, domestic and international travelers — by the Department of Homeland Security and its components.

A Course Correction for Homeland Security, a report by the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University, cites to some of our work and some examples of cases we have been involved with in its analysis of DHS data collection (surveillance), and “risk assessments” (algorithmic profiling and control), especially as they relate to travelers.

American Dragnet: Data-Driven Deportation in the 21st Century, a report by the Center on Privacy and Technology at Georgetown University Law School, focuses on DHS’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) division, especially ICE access to facial images and other information obtained from drivers licenses and commercial data brokers.

A common theme of both reports is that DHS surveillance is more pervasive, more intrusive, and less visible than is generally recognized.

At the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting for 2022, an event where powerful CEOs and world leaders meet to “find solutions to the world’s most urgent challenges,” YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki committed to persistent censorship of “misinformation” and praised YouTube’s existing censorship efforts.

Wojcicki made the comments after Alyson Shontell Lombardi, the Editor-in-Chief of Fortune Magazine, asked her whether YouTube’s efforts to censor misinformation will always be a “work in progress.”

“I think there’ll always be work that we have to do because there will always be incentives for people to be creating misinformation,” Wojcicki said. “The challenge will be to keep staying ahead of that and make sure that we are understanding what they are and the different ways that people may use to try to trick our systems and make sure that our systems are staying ahead of what’s necessary to make sure that we are managing that.”

Wojcicki continued by praising YouTube’s 5-6 year initiative of cracking down on content that’s deemed to be misinformation and said that users who look at YouTube search results or the homepage will see content from “authoritative sources” (mainstream media outlets that YouTube designates as authoritative) for “sensitive topics.”

"Worst Jim Crow Ever": After Voting Law Hysteria, Georgia Shatters Turnout Records

When Georgia revised its election laws in 2021, the liberal world lost its collective mind over what the National Urban League called “one of the most insidious partisan attacks on voting rights in history.”

Democratic politicians tripped over each other in a competition to see who could condemn Georgia’s perfectly reasonable law in the most catastrophic terms:

“It’s racist…Jim Crow in a suit and tie,” said Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams

“A large step…away from democracy and freedom and toward authoritarianism and repression,” said New Jersey senator Cory Booker

“Anti-American, racist, and a betrayal of our Constitution,” said California Rep. Ro Khanna

Sussmann Trial Day 7: How The FBI Hamstrung The Alfa Bank Investigation

Today in the Michael Sussmann trial, we received additional information regarding the FBI leadership’s involvement in the opening - and execution - of the Alfa Bank/Trump investigation. This included FBI Headquarters not approving an FBI agent’s repeated requests to interview the sources of the Alfa Bank “materials.”

But first we’ll start with the examination of Trisha Anderson.

Anderson is currently the Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Counsel. Back in 2016, she was an FBI deputy general counsel and reported directly to then-FBI general counsel James Baker.

The purpose of her testimony was to prove-up her notes from a September 19, 2016 meeting she had with Baker, where Baker discussed his meeting with Michael Sussmann. (The notebook was necessary because Anderson didn’t recall the meeting itself.)

Glencore Pleads Guilty To Decade Of Bribery And Market Manipulation, Will Pay $1.5 BIllion Penalty

Swiss commodity trading giant Glencore agreed to plead guilty to multiple counts of bribery and market manipulation and pay penalties of up to $1.5BN to settle US, UK and Brazilian probes that have hung over the commodities giant for years.

The settlements will help remove question marks that have long overshadowed the trader’s (shady) business, profiled extensively in the gripping book The World For Sale. But the charges and admissions of guilt paint a damning, globe-spanning picture of how far the company, founded by U.S. fugitive Marc Rich, has been willing to go in pursuit of profit.

According to Bloomberg, Glencore units agreed to plead guilty to a list of charges that range from bribery and corruption in South America and Africa, to price manipulation in US fuel-oil markets.

Gov. Newsom Warns Californians Of Mandatory Water Restrictions Amid Worsening Drought

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has called on water associations to take “aggressive actions” to increase water conservation and warned that mandatory water restrictions may lie ahead this summer if the state does not significantly cut down its consumption.

Newsom made the comments during a meeting with leaders from the state’s largest urban water suppliers—including those covering Los Angeles, San Diego, and the San Francisco Bay Area—and water associations on May 23 amid worsening drought conditions.

“Every water agency across the state needs to take more aggressive actions to communicate about the drought emergency and implement conservation measures,” Newsom said.

“Californians made significant changes since the last drought but we have seen an uptick in water use, especially as we enter the summer months. We all have to be more thoughtful about how to make every drop count.”

Moderna CEO Laments 'Throwing 30 Million Doses In The Garbage Because Nobody Wants Them'

Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel is complaining about having to 'throw away' 30 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine because 'nobody wants them.'

"It's sad to say, I'm in the process of throwing 30 million doses in the garbage because nobody wants them. We have a big demand problem," Bancel told an audience at the World Economic Forum, adding that attempts to contact various governments to see if anyone wants to pick up the slack was a total fail.

"We right now have governments - we tried to contact ... through the embassies in Washington. Every country, and nobody wants to take them."

"The issue in many countries is that people don't want vaccines."

Finland, Sweden Dispatch Teams To Turkey After Erdogan Said 'Don't Even Bother'

Finland and Sweden on Tuesday confirmed they are sending delegations to Ankara in hopes of resolving issues surrounding Turkey's publicly voiced vehement opposition to the two countries' bids to join NATO. They formally submitted their applications in a ceremony attended by NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg last week, which Turkey immediately sought to block.

Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto said the delegations will begin meetings with Turkish counterparts on Wednesday, even after days ago President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Finnish and Swedish diplomatic teams "shouldn't bother coming" if they aren't prepared to halt support for PKK terrorists.

Speaking during a panel discussion of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Haavisto acknowledged, "We understand that Turkey has some of their own security concerns vis-a-vis terrorism." He added: "We think that these issues can be settled. There might be also some issues that are not linked directly to Finland and Sweden but more to other NATO members."

DeSantis Rising? Poll Shows Republicans Prefer Florida Governor Over Former President For 2024

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis beat out former President Donald Trump in a new Republican poll that saw the Wisconsin conventioneers pick whom they wish to run to receive the GOP presidential nomination in 2024.

DeSantis received a majority win with 38% of the vote, while the former President took home 32%, according to the poll conducted by WisPolitics.com.

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley came in a distant third place, receiving over 7%.

'Everything Is Falling Apart': Biden Can No Longer Rely On The Mainstream Media To Cover For Him

Joe Biden has become the subject of scorn from all sides over the baby formula crisis in America. It is no longer just Right-leaning outlets that are ripping him, but now once-friendly media like ABC and NBC news hosts have called Biden out for dropping the ball and letting it get to this point.

Fox News host Steve Hilton of “The Next Revolution” criticized the Biden Administration on Sunday over their inadequate handling of the national baby formula shortage and prompted the “incapacitated” President to step down. ABC's Terry Moran on 'This Week' said the buck stopped in the Oval Office; NBC news has been covering the shortages as well as the economic stagflation, with Lester Holt pointing to inconsistent policies and almost no follow-through from the White House as reasons for the situation.

The Electric Cars That Biden Is Forcing Americans Into Are Getting Even More Expensive

Automakers such as Tesla and Cadillac are hiking electric vehicle prices in response to growing commodity costs like key materials required for EV batteries.

Projections show a sharp rise in demand for battery minerals over the following four years could push the price of EV battery cells up by over 20 percent — exacerbating increasing prices resulting from supply-chain disruptions caused by COVID and the Russia-Ukraine conflict, CNBC reported.

Elon Musk’s Tesla has worked for years to lower the costs of its vehicles to promote a global shift to zero-emissions transportation. Yet it raised prices many times over the last year, including twice in March after Musk cautioned about “significant recent inflation pressure” in raw materials prices and transportation costs.

NATO vs Russia: what happens next

Three months after the start of Russia’s Operation Z in Ukraine, the battle of The West (12 percent) against The Rest (88 percent) keeps metastasizing. Yet the narrative – oddly – remains the same.

On Monday, from Davos, World Economic Forum Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab introduced Ukrainian comedian-cum-President Volodymyr Zelensky, on the latest leg of his weapons-solicitation-tour, with a glowing tribute. Herr Schwab stressed that an actor impersonating a president defending neo-Nazis is supported by “all of Europe and the international order.”

He means, of course, everyone except the 88 percent of the planet that subscribes to the Rule of Law – instead of the faux construct the west calls a ‘rules-based international order.’

Back in the real world, Russia, slowly but surely has been rewriting the Art of Hybrid War. Yet within the carnival of NATO psyops, aggressive cognitive infiltration, and stunning media sycophancy, much is being made of the new $40 billion US ‘aid’ package to Ukraine, deemed capable of becoming a game-changer in the war.

A New WHO COVID Report Once Again Proves Sweden Right

Throughout the pandemic, Sweden has faced an enormous amount of criticism and international pressure due to their willingness to stick to established public health principles and pre-pandemic planning.

Instead of following the incessant, anti-science groupthink that became part of a virus-induced political religion, Sweden chose instead to not impose the strict lockdowns that Dr. Fauci recently claimed were not tried in the US.

Sweden never mandated masks be worn in indoor public spaces, correctly identifying the lack of evidence supporting their use.

They kept schools open in defiance of teacher’s unions and politically motivated “experts” in the United States who advocated for a policy with zero benefits and tremendous harms.

UK Braces For Internet "Blackouts" Due To Coming "Wave Of Bankruptcies"

Internet "blackouts" as a result of a "wave of bankruptcies" in broadband networks could be on their way.

British daily newspaper The Telegraph noted this week that certain smaller broadband suppliers are "being pushed to the brink" that that the effects of inflation could eventually leave homes without connectivity.

Ofcom, the government-approved regulatory and competition authority for the broadcasting, telecommunications and postal industries of the United Kingdom, is already in the midst of drawing up "contingency plans" with telecom company BT to take on thousands of its customers if smaller suppliers begin to fail.

BT has seen more than 150 smaller challengers materialize and try and compete with it. Many of these companies have been backed by private equity, pension funds and sovereign wealth, the report notes.

MEPs Clare Daly & Mick Wallace, NATO’s Latest Targets

Naomi O’Leary’s recent two-page spread in the Irish Times castigating “Mick Wallace, popularly known as the ‘Golden Lion King’ in China, and fellow MEP Clare Daly” for being media staples in the Russian, Chinese, and Arabic languages, best typifies Ireland’s resurgent fascism. This resurgent fascism has also witnessed attacks on their erstwhile colleagues in the Irish Parliament, credible death threats on people like me, physical attacks on Russian diplomats and on Russian citizens living in Ireland.

O’Leary’s pathetic smear piece seems to have been spurred by the emergence of Irish MEPs Daly and Wallace as two of the more prominent critics of NATO’s and the EU’s pro-war policies and the existential threats those NATO policies present not only to world peace but to Irish neutrality and Ireland’s standing within the NATO empire as well. Although O’Leary’s main thrust is that the two MEPs have featured in Arabic, Russian and Chinese media, there is also an unintentionally insightful emphasis on the persecution of political dissidents in the Baltic states.

Western Civilization at a Crossroads: Dark Age or Renaissance?

It has been many years since JFK and his brother died, and the better traditions of the republic which they died defending have been forgotten.

Rudyard Kipling once wrote: “East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet, Till Earth and Sky stand presently at God’s great Judgment Seat.”

In his poem, Kipling was expressing his belief that cultures of the east and west were so intrinsically different that any hope for harmony or mutual interest was little more than a delusion.

As an unrepentant racist and British imperialist, Kipling was quite certain that he exemplified the best of western civilization, founded as it was upon global submission of the dark-skinned races to a British hegemon which was mandated to rule the world as overlords. This imperial view was founded upon a ‘master-slave’ ordering of society, an intense racism and a tendency to treat the individual members of society like hedonistic pleasure-seeking creatures incapable of acting upon any higher principles of justice, or goodness beyond their local immediate concerns.

On May 23, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke at the Primakov Gymnasium about Russia’s position towards the Western nations. According to the minister, the restoration of relations will depend solely on Western countries. Judging by a new format for relations, which would be proposed by Western countries, Russia would consider this issue.

At this point, Russia will rely on its strength and cooperate with states that have proven their reliability. According to the minister, Western countries should calm down and recognize the existence of Russia. Lavrov also stressed that now Russia is trying by all means to decrease its economic dependence on Western countries. The inability to negotiate leads to a deadlock in relations and it will be very difficult for Western brands that hope to return to the Russian market to implement their plans. Lavrov said that now Russia should not hope for the return of Western goods, but should seek or create an alternative.

In this light, Lavrov suggested focusing on the Eurasian space, since it is a promising region of the world and Russia already has established contacts there, as well as a wide network of partners. A few words were also given to China; Russia sees a prospect in relations with China against the background of Western policy. The main focus will be on the development of high technology, nuclear energy and other areas. Plans for the development of the Far East and Eastern Siberia will be implemented in this direction.

Top Russian official blasts Anglo-Saxon doctrine of ‘select few entitled to prosperity’

The Anglo-Saxon world has for centuries arrogantly ignored the right of third countries to sovereignty for the sake of implementing the idea of the "golden billion," the Secretary of Russia’s Security Council, Nikolay Patrushev, said in an interview to the weekly Argumenty i Fakty.

"The Anglo-Saxons’ style has not changed for centuries. These days, too, they keep dictating their conditions to the world, arrogantly ignoring the sovereign rights of countries. While hiding their actions behind the human rights, freedom and democracy rhetoric, they push ahead with the ‘golden billion’ doctrine, which implies that only select few are entitled to prosperity in this world," he said, adding that in the opinion of the Anglo-Saxon world "the plight of everybody else is to toil away for the sake of their well-being."

He stressed that in order to build up the personal wealth of a handful of tycoons in the City of London and on Wall Street the US and British governments, entirely controlled by big business, provoke economic crises in the world, doom millions in Africa, Asia and Latin America to starvation by limiting access to grain, fertilizers and energy resources and cause unemployment and a migration disaster in Europe.

As the Ukraine war continues not only on the battlefields but also online and in the media, the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to appeal to their military command through the videos shared on the social networks. So far, dozens of appeals of the Ukrainian servicemen deployed in various regions in eastern Ukraine refused to obey to their commanders and implement their orders. The Ukrainian fighters understand that the military command in Kiev uses the soldiers as cannon fodders in the most dangerous regions of the country. The Ukrainian units suffer the lack of manpower and military supplies. A lot of them were left by their military command.

Earlier, on May 24, one of the battalions of the Donetsk People’s Republic deployed on the front lines in the Luhansk People’s Republic recorded a similar video addressing their high command. This was the first such video recorded by Russian-led forces, which did not raise any suspicions. At the same time, the appeals of the DPR and Ukrainian servicemen differ. You can find the video made by the DPR officers with comments HERE to compare it with the following appeals made by the servicemen of the AFU:

With the Western media apparatus bombarding audiences with a narrative that a liberal Ukraine is struggling against an authoritarian Russia to preserve its democracy, Far-Right ultra-nationalist forces, including neo-Nazi battalions, have been normalized and lionized to the point that thousands of foreigners have flooded into a warzone to fight.

Many of these foreigners do not have proper military training and experience. As they cannot fight properly, the commanders of Ukraine’s military complain about them as they are not useful to the war effort. For this reason, they are deployed to the heaviest fighting points, including Donbass, and as a result they have a short survival rate as highly professional Russian troops are actively engaging them.

As of April 16, according to data from the Donetsk People’s Republic, there were about 6,800 foreign fighters from 63 countries. Of this, more than 1,000 foreign fighters were killed and more than 900 fled from Ukraine. Of the foreign fighters, there were 1,800 from Poland, about 500 each from the US, Canada and Romania each, 300 each from Britain and Georgia, 127 from France and 50 from Germany.

They're Just Outright Telling Us That Peace In Ukraine Is Not An Option

US Senator Joe Manchin said at the World Economic Forum on Monday that he opposes any kind of peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia.

Manchin, who at the moment is one of the most powerful elected officials in Washington, added that only the complete forcible ejection of Russia from all of Ukraine is acceptable, that the war should ideally be used to remove Putin from power, and that he and the strategists he talks to see this war as an "opportunity".

"I am totally committed, as one person, to seeing Ukraine to the end with a win, not basically with some kind of a treaty; I don't think that is where we are and where we should be," Manchin said.

"I mean basically moving Putin back to Russia and hopefully getting rid of Putin," Manchin added when asked what he meant by a win for Ukraine.

President Clinton's Remarks on PNTR with China (2000)

"Civilization May Not Survive" - George Soros Tells Davos Crowd, Defeat Putin (And Xi) Or Else

n his first appearance in person at Davos since Slamming Trump as a "conman, narcissist" and claiming Mark Zuckerberg was conspiring to get him re-elected in March 2020 (and warned that "the overheated US economy can't be kept boiling for too long"), billionaire George Soros unveiled his traditionally anticipated annual address, taking aim squarely at China (nothing new there) but adding Russia to his hit list.

The 90-year-old puppet-master is certainly not getting any younger (looking older than 98-year-old Henry Kissinger who made headlines earlier in the day), warned that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has rattled Europe and could be the start of another world war.

“Other issues that concern all of humanity -- fighting pandemics and climate change, avoiding nuclear war, maintaining global institutions -- have had to take a back seat to that struggle,” Soros said,

“That’s why I say our civilization may not survive.”

Watch: Davos Elites Warn "Painful Global Transition" Should Not Be Resisted By Nation-States

As World Economic Forum head Klaus Schwab proclaimed that “the future is built by us” at the opening of the annual Davos gathering, two other European elites declared that the global energy crisis is a “transition” that will be “painful” for most, but should not be resisted by nations tempted to preserve their own sovereignty over the “global agenda.”

Schwab called those summoned before him a “powerful community,” and declared “We have the means to improve the state of the world, but two conditions are necessary: The first one, is that we act all as stakeholders of larger communities, so that we serve not only our self-interests but we serve the community. That’s what we call ‘stakeholder responsibility.’”

“And second, that we collaborate,” he continued, adding “And this is the reason why you find many opportunities here during the meeting to engage into… action and impact initiatives to make progress related to specific issues on the global agenda.”

In March 2021, NTI partnered with the Munich Security Conference to conduct a tabletop exercise simulating a global pandemic involving an unusual strain of monkeypox caused by a terrorist attack using a pathogen engineered in a laboratory

A monkeypox outbreak is currently spreading around the world… Was this epidemic planned again? Read below and tell me what you think…

In March 2021, NTI partnered with the Munich Security Conference to conduct a tabletop exercise on reducing high-consequence biological threats.

The exercise examined gaps in national and international biosecurity and pandemic preparedness architectures—exploring opportunities to improve prevention and response capabilities for high-consequence biological events.

Participants included 19 senior leaders and experts from across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe with decades of combined experience in public health, biotechnology industry, international security, and philanthropy.

Davos reveals building blocks for “green” social credit system

This morning, on one of the WEF’s live-streamed panels, Alibaba Holdings President J. Michael Evans claimed that the company is working on an app that could track an individual users carbon footprint.

The former-Goldman Sachs vice-chairman told the audience of the “Strategic Outlook: Responsible Consumption” panel:

We’re developing, through technology, an ability for consumers to measure their own carbon footprint. What does that mean? That’s where are they travelling, how are they travelling, what are they eating, what are they consuming on our platform. So: An individual carbon footprint tracker.”

Now, to clarify, Evans was only talking about Alibaba’s platform…but that’s a big platform.

The Chinese company is the second-largest e-commerce company in the world after Amazon, with revenues in excess of 715 billion Yuan in 2021 (that’s over 110 billion USD).

And they’re not just an e-commerce platform. Through their financial and technological service companies, Alibaba runs the largest domain name market, email provider and cloud storage services in China, and the largest payment platform in the world.

Got a lil secret, I'm about to...: Texas school shooter's cryptic texts to a stranger before killing 22

Hours before he opened fire on children at a school in Texas, the 18-year-old shooter had sent a cryptic message, 'I'm about to', to a stranger on Instagram. He was using an account with the username “salv8dor_", which was taken down shortly after that shooter was identified as Salvador Ramos.

The Instagram account which is believed to be of the shooter contained photos of firearms and a mirror selfie of himself. The account also shared a photo of two rifles and tagged another person in the post.

The user, @epnupues, said she did not know Ramos at all. He tagged her in the gun photo and messaged her that he “got a lil secret”. The Instagram user asked him why he tagged her in the pic of the rifles, adding that she was scared.

Voice phishing attacks reach all-time high

Cases of voice phishing or vishing have been reported to have risen a whopping 550% over the past 12 months alone, according to the Quarterly Threat Trends & Intelligence Report co-authored by Agari and PhishLabs. In March 2022, the amount of vishing attacks experienced by organizations reached its highest level ever reported, passing the previous record set in September of 2021.

As part of the study, it was found that the two companies had “detected and mitigated hundreds of thousands of phishing, social media, email, and dark web threats targeting a broad range of enterprises and brands”.

“Hybrid vishing campaigns continue to generate stunning numbers, representing 26.1% of total share in volume so far in 2022,” said John LaCour, principal strategist at HelpSystems. “We are seeing an increase in threat actors moving away from standard voice phishing campaigns to initiating multi-stage malicious email attacks. In these campaigns, actors use a callback number within the body of the email as a lure, then rely on social engineering and impersonation to trick the victim into calling and interacting with a fake representative.”

Canadian national security task force is preparing for the collapse of the United States

While the United States appears to hold true to the ideals of democracy, Freedom House, an international group that promotes global democracy, has warned that the country is backsliding.

"Its democratic institutions have suffered erosion, as reflected in partisan pressure on the electoral process, bias and dysfunction in the criminal justice system, harmful policies on immigration and asylum seekers, and growing disparities in wealth, economic opportunity, and political influence," the site said.

The watchdog group said that the U.S. slipped 11 points in the past ten years. The U.S. is now ranked below Argentina and Mongolia.

According to the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC), the government to the north is fearful of what that might mean for them. Former national security advisers and directors at the Center for Strategic and International Studies warned Canada that the U.S. could become a "source of threat and instability" in the coming years.

US Middle Class Is Shutting Down As Spending By The Rich Remains Robust

After dismal earnings by such mammoth retailers as Walmart, Targets and this morning's "horror report" by Abercrombie and Fitch, on Tuesday afternoon we actually got a solid report by Nordstrom, which not only printed strong earnings but also hiked guidance sending the stock higher as much as 12%.

What was behind the divergence? Simple: as JPMorgan writes in its trading desk market recap, JWN earnings highlighted the divergence among consumer spending by income brackets.

Picking up on this, Bloomberg's Felice Maranz writes that the latest earnings and comments from big-bank executives reinforce the view that while spending by lower and middle America may be falling off a cliff, spending by well-off US consumers is still robust, with scant sign of a pull-back.

Bloomberg also points to department store Nordstrom which is jumping after the bell after boosting its revenue and earnings outlook. The company, unlike so many of its peers who have seen their stocks crater following Q1 earnings, said core categories in 1Q -- including men’s and women’s apparel and shoes - saw strong growth with shoppers “refreshing” wardrobes for social events, travel and going back to offices.

And since the wealthy are far less impacted by rising prices in the core staples basket, there were no signs of a hit from inflation either, as merchandise margins for the likes of Nordstromg improved due to pricing and lower markdowns. That followed an earlier beat from that other upper/aspirational-class targeting retailer, Ralph Lauren, which was also able to raise prices, helped by resilient, affluent customers, as well as from electronics retailer Best Buy.

US NatGas Prices Top $9, Hit 2008 Highs As EU 'Convergence' Accelerates

U.S. natural gas futures hit highs not seen since 2008 amid EU export demand, serious concerns of a sweltering summer, and the possibility stockpiles might not be refilled ahead of the heating season.

Futures for June delivery were up over 2%, topping $9...

...for the first time since August 2008

Prices for this time of year have never been higher except for 2008.

One driver of soaring prices is supply tightness. Weather forecasters predict a summer of heatwaves that could force households and businesses to crank up their air conditioners. There's also the concern about power grid strains where hydroelectricity and coal supplies are limited, which will increase the use of natgas power generation.

A surge in natgas demand this summer could result in the inability of U.S. stockpiles to replenish ahead of the heating season.

"It isn't about winter demand outlooks -- it's about summer refill outlooks," Gary Cunningham, a director at Tradition Energy, told Bloomberg.

Live: Zelenksy says will only talk directly to Putin, not via intermediators

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that he was only willing to talk directly to Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and not via intermediators, adding that if the Russian president "understands reality" there was the possibility of finding a diplomatic way out of the conflict. Protecting Hillary: Clinton's Army Of Lawyers Struggling To Stop Truth From Leaking

Bombshell testimony that Hillary Clinton personally authorized giving a reporter since-debunked data regarding Donald Trump and Russia was part of a chess-like maneuver to “protect the queen,” a former U.S. Justice Department official told The Post.

Jim Trusty announced former Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook’s revelation Friday. He quickly attempted to walk back, actually meshed with other testimony in which Mook and former campaign general counsel Marc Elias both announced they were unaware campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann planned to provide the information to the FBI.
