IDF ‘approves’ plan for possible ground invasion into Gaza as Netanyahu reportedly rejects Hamas truce offer

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have drawn up plans to invade Gaza from the ground in response to the rocket barrage by Hamas. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly dismissed an offer to end hostilities “on a mutual basis.”
Additional troops have been moved to the Gazan border, including soldiers from the Paratroopers Brigade, the Golani Infantry Brigade, and the 7th Armored Brigade, IDF spokesperson Brigadier General Hidai Zilberman told reporters on Thursday.
