Liz Cheney is considering running for President “to protect the nation from Donald Trump”.   Of course, Cheney won’t refer to President Trump with his title.  That would be too difficult.

Troubled crypto hedge fund Three Arrows Capital has filed for bankruptcy in the US, making it the latest crypto investment firm to collapse during this year's digital asset sell-off.

The hedge fund, familiarly known as 3AC, filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy in a Manhattan federal court Friday, just three days after it was liquidated in the British Virgin Islands for defaulting on a $667 million loan to Voyager Digital.

The liquidity crisis in the crypto ecosystem stems from cryptocurrencies' dismal performance in 2022, which has seen leading token bitcoin plummet more than 70% from its all-time high in November.

3AC has lost at least $400 million during the crash, according to The Block. Its failure to repay its debts has contributed to a broader liquidity crisis that's now rippling through crypto.

"The collapse of Three Arrows Capital has triggered the downfall of many other companies across the crypto space, particularly lenders who the hedge fund borrowed from in enormous sums," GlobalBlock analyst Marcus Sotiriou said in a research note Monday.

Ukrainian officials reported on Saturday that it has received heavy incoming artillery fire for the first time from neighboring nation Belarus. That country is a Russian ally but has not been directly involved in the invasion that began in February.

The Russians have used Belarus as a staging area and for logistical support during the invasion, although the nation has not previously been directly engaged.

The town of Desna in the country’s northern Chernigiv region was hit by 20 rockets according to the northern Ukrainian military command. No casualties were initially reported. The Saturday attack from Belarus came one day after Ukraine announced a strategic retreat from the city of Severodonetsk.

Ukraine’s military intelligence services issued a statement saying the strike is “directly linked to Kremlin efforts to pull Belarus as a co-belligerent into the war in Ukraine.”

At the time of the airstrike on Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin was scheduled to be in a meeting with Belarusan President Aleksandr Lukashenko in St. Petersburg.

newly released voicemail that President Joe Biden left on his son Hunter Biden’s phone is “further proof” that Joe knew about Hunter’s foreign business deals according to Representative James Comer (R-KY).

Comer promises that Americans will get “answers about the Biden family’s pattern of placing profit over country,” if the GOP takes back Congress in November.

In the voicemail that was left in 2018, Joe assured Hunter that he had nothing to worry about. Joe referenced the New York Times report about Hunter’s business with Chinese oil giant CEFC.

In the voicemail, Joe said, “Hey pal, it’s Dad. It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance just give me a call. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to talk to you. I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear. And anyway, if you get a chance give me a call, I love you.”

It’s difficult to find anything that over 70% of Americans agree on in 2022. But there’s one issue that brings the nation together. In a new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll, a stunning 71% of the country does not want President Joe Biden to run for reelection.

Only 29% support a second run.

Reasons vary among respondents as 45% believe he is a bad president, one-third say he is too old and roughly one-quarter simply want a change. A full 60% have doubts about his mental fitness.

Mark Penn, the survey’s co-director, said the results send a clear message of voters’ wishes and the job the vast majority of the U.S. believe Biden is doing.

Only 30% of Democrats say they would even vote for him in their presidential primary.

For years on end, the mainstream media has been consistently called out for showing bias that is overtly pro-leftist and anti-Republican.

This bias truly came to the forefront amid the 2020 presidential election. During this time, the media purposely pushed and promoted Joe Biden. Meanwhile, stories that could have hurt Biden’s presidential prospects (such as the infamous laptop of Hunter Biden) were intentionally kept quiet.

Many Americans wonder about the underlying cause of various narratives put out by the mainstream media. As it turns out, conservative author Matt Palumbo has an explanation for this.

The Truth About the Mainstream Media
During his interview with EpochTV, Palumbo explained the media’s bias ultimately boils down to it being largely under the thumb of liberal billionaire George Soros.

Soros is notorious for pumping obscene amounts of money into funding left-wing causes, candidates, and activist groups. The mainstream media is no exception. Palumbo informed EpochTV that the New York Times, CNN, ABC News, Washington Post, and CBS News all operate under Soros’ control.

Feminist icon and bestselling author, Naomi Wolf joins Sarah Westall for an excellent interview about the breathtaking controlled demolition of our civilization.

During her 35-year career, Naomi had almost only known extraordinary success. Her legacy as a thought leader of the Liberal World Order seemed secure until 2020, when she began to publicly question the COVID lockdowns.

Her latest book, The Bodies of Others: The New Authoritarians, Covid-19 and the War Against the Human has now permanently ejected her from the good graces of polite society, to say nothing of social media, from which she’s been widely de-platformed.

Despite having written several bestselling books, including this latest one, no one in the mainstream will review it – but you can read Lew Rockwell’s first-rate analysis, here.

Naomi talks to Sarah about the breakneck dismantling of the most basic Western values of critical thinking and open inquiry that we’ve observed in the past two years, with the criminalization of dissent and “misinformation” in the DHS’ Disinformation Governance Board and in a bill being discussed in the EU that would exact heavy fines from those who share “medical misinformation” on social media.

A British-Polish tech company called Walletmor is selling microchips that are embedded under your skin as an alternative form of payment to your wallet.

The chip, which costs about $300, is about the size of a grain of rice. It is implanted into your body, preferably in your hand.

Walletmor says once you activate the chip using a digital wallet app, you will be able to make purchases at most businesses around the world just by swiping your hand over a card reader.

Webmaster addition: Expect thieves to simply chop off the hands of their victims and use the chips to empty their accounts at an ATM!

It is very curious timing in this article from Newsweek, containing massive geopolitical implications, using identified Saudi Arabia sources, would come in advance of Joe Biden’s visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Is this strategic geopolitical pressure from Saudi leader Mohamed Bin Salman (MbS) ahead of the meeting with Biden; or is this a genuine possibility that looms as likely?  If the former, then Joe Biden is being geopolitically slow roasted by Saudi Arabia for his previous disparagements and ideological hypocrisy in his visit.  If it is the latter, well, then the tectonic plates of international trade, banking and economics are about to shift directly under our American feet.

We have been closely monitoring the signs of a global cleaving around the energy sector taking place.  Essentially, western governments’ following the “Build Back Better” climate change agenda which stops using coal, oil and gas to power their economic engine, while the rest of the growing economic world continues using the more efficient and traditional forms of energy to power their economies.

This article from Newsweek is exactly about this dynamic with Saudi Arabia now potentially joining the BRICS team.

Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves, a Republican, suggested Sunday that the pro-life movement is inclining toward a "culture of life," as his state attorney general is expected to protect its trigger law banning most abortions except to save a mother’s life after the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.

In an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," Reeves told Fox News host Mike Emmanuel that he plans to enforce the state’s trigger law despite a new lawsuit from the state’s only abortion clinic.

"The fact of the matter is this entire court battle was never about winning a court case. It was always about creating a culture of life," Reeves said, explaining the need to develop more support for expectant mother and babies. "That’s exactly what we’re doing here in Mississippi, and that’s what we as pro-life Mississippians and pro-life Americans have to continue to do. We have to prove that being pro-life is not simply about being anti-abortion. And in our state, we’re enacting policies to do exactly that."

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas seemed to place some of the responsibility on migrants for doing the "dangerous journey" to the United States after 53 migrants were discovered dead in a dumped tractor-trailer on the outskirts of San Antonio on Monday.

During Mayorkas' appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation" on Sunday Morning, he said that the incident is one outcome of what could happen when migrants take the "dangerous journey" to the United States.

Leftist Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., was booed at a Minneapolis concert on Saturday night.

Throughout the concert, which had a predominantly Somali audience, some in the crowd shouted at Omar to "go home" and "get the f*** out of here," according to the Daily Wire.

The concert, which was held at Minneapolis’s Target Center, was musician Suldaan Seeraar's first performance in North America.

As Omar was presented with her husband on stage, the crowd began to boo loudly. As they persisted in booing, some different performers on staged requested the crowd to stop. “OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, we don’t have all night,” Omar announced throughout the booing.

At precisely noon EST on Saturday, Biden tweeted out, "My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: This is a time of war and global peril. Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you're paying for the product. And do it now."

And just 5 1/2 hours later, Chen Weihua, a columnist/bureau chief for China Daily EU, responded, "Now U.S. President finally realized that capitalism is all about exploitation. He didn't believe this before."

It's difficult to say if President Biden was attacking capitalism in his tweet, but that’s how Weihua viewed it; and that's most likely how Ric Grenell, the one-time acting Director of National Intelligence for former President Donald Trump, deemed the tweet.

Too bad there’s no World Cup for hypocrisy, because the U.S. would be totally unbeatable. For 150 years the U.S. exploiting class has repeatedly sent its troops (illegally) across borders of other nations, occupying countries, imposing unequal treaties and trade agreements, overthrowing and assassinating leaders, imposing their own puppets and pawns, all in order to suck out wealth by ripping off natural resources and enforcing life-sapping cheap labor. And all the while, they call those unable to survive in the hell their barbarous exploitation has created, “illegals”!!  - Bruce Neuberger, author of Lettuce Wars

There was never a time in politics where the two major parties, Republicans and Democrats, agreed on social and fiscal issues, but there were able to hammer out deals giving a little, getting a little, where no one was totally happy, but at least some things could be negotiated with compromise.

I'll admit freely that being a conservative means I am inherently biased toward the positions of Republicans, but that doesn't change the radical or extreme positions democrats are increasingly taking.

From gender-related issues to abortion to the second amendment to climate change, and more, liberal democrats are taking more and more extreme positions every day.

The democrat party has been taken over by socialists and radical fringe elements.

The Democratic National Committee, from their official Twitter account, claimed a Fourth of July celebration at Mount Rushmore was a glorification of racism in America.

President Trump announced early in May that he would hold his annual Independence Day celebration with a fireworks display at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota.

The Democrats do not approve, claiming the President “has disrespected Native communities time and again” in a tweet on Monday.

“Now he’s holding a rally glorifying white supremacy at Mount Rushmore – a region once sacred to tribal communities,” they added, before deleting the message.

Elizabeth Warren, who recently said the Supreme Court has no “legitimacy,” once famously tried to prove claims of Native American ancestry by releasing a DNA test, prompting many in the media at the time to pressure then-President Trump to issue an apology for calling her ‘Pocahontas.’

Warren had been accused by many critics of furthering her career by falsely claiming minority status.

Politico reported in 2012 that the Massachusetts Democrat senator “listed herself as a minority law teacher for nearly a decade from 1986 to 1995.”

In his final speech celebrating the 4th of July as President, Donald Trump proposed a ‘National Garden’ replete with statues of American heroes including the nation’s Founding Fathers, Martin Luther King Jr., Harriet Tubman, and Frederick Douglass.

Joe Biden killed the effort.

Trump made the announcement during a ‘Salute to America’ celebration on July 4th, 2020.

The former president announced an executive order listing the names of those he sought to honor with statues in a proposed “National Garden of American Heroes.”

The original list included 31 historical figures including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and other historical figures including Jackie Robinson and Booker T. Washington, along with the aforementioned group and a host of others, 31 in all.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom aired an ad over the July Fourth weekend, asking Floridians to California for more "freedom."

"It's Independence Day," Newsom announced in the ad, posted to his Twitter. "So let's talk about what's going on in America. Freedom is under attack in your state."

"Republican leaders," he went on, are "banning books, making it harder to vote, restricting speech in classrooms, even criminalizing women and doctors. I urge all of you living in Florida, to join the fight — or join us in California."

Newsom's choice of Florida as a focal point for cultural debate may not be an arbitrary one, as speculation looms that the Democratic governor is seeking a presidential run in 2024. According to the New York Post, Newsom spent $105,000 for ad spots on Fox News in Florida to position himself as an option to popular Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican.

Japan's Ministry of Defense hyped on Monday that Chinese and Russian warships were spotted near the Diaoyu Islands in the East China Sea almost at the same time earlier in the day. Chinese and Russian vessels have the right, albeit different, to freely navigate in the contiguous zone of the Diaoyu Islands of China, experts pointed out, saying that the Russian Navy's recent military activities in the West Pacific is a warning to Japan amid Japanese sanctions on Russia over the Ukraine crisis.

A Russian frigate entered the Diaoyu Islands' contiguous zone from 7:05 am to 8:16 am on Monday, and a Chinese frigate sailed in the same area for about six minutes from 7:44 am, Kyodo News reported on Monday, citing the Japanese Defense Ministry.

The Chinese frigate involved is a Type 053H3 frigate, equipped with YJ-83 anti-ship missiles, HHQ-7 air defense missiles and 37-millimeter-caliber guns, according to a press release by the Japanese Defense Ministry.

Japan has "lodged a protest" with China after the incident, which was the first time since June 2016 when Chinese and Russian naval vessels had been spotted entering the contiguous zone at around the same time, Kyodo News said.

History abounds with formidable challenges from which the world has emerged as an even safer and better place, and those triumphs over adversity have testified that cooperation and common development are crucial in turning the tide.

The world is now living through drastic changes and a COVID-19 pandemic, both unseen in a century. Various security challenges continue to surface, while the global economy is still battling against significant headwinds on its path to recovery. Meanwhile, global development has experienced major setbacks.

"Where is the world headed: Peace or war? Progress or regression? Openness or isolation? Cooperation or confrontation? These are choices of the times that we are confronted with," Chinese President Xi Jinping said Wednesday in his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the BRICS Business Forum. He then went on at that forum and later at two other related high-level events in the following days to share his thoughts on how to tackle global challenges and advance common development.

Experts worldwide said they are inspired by Xi's insights into the choices of the times, and expect BRICS cooperation to add impetus to global prosperity.

Iconic “Harry Potter” author and feminist J.K. Rowling was the target of a social media post threatening a firebomb attack — along with her home address.

With the image of the pipe bomb and her family’s address was a picture of an “Improvised Munitions Handbook.” A red arrow pointed from the pipe bomb to her address. Rowling said the post first went up weeks ago and it was still up on July 1 when she shared a screenshot.

Police now say they are probing the tweet, and as of Saturday morning the username was gone from the platform.

The account, which apparently originates in Ireland and displays a transgender flag, also urged feminist Julie Bindel to commit suicide. Bindel had the nerve to criticize trans radicals for tearing down single-gender spaces that real women need to feel safe.

Rowling is a well-known defender of women’s rights and has come under blistering attack from militant transgender activists. The author said she could wallpaper the house with death threats from hardline trans radicals.

Firecrackers reportedly set off in the crowd that were mistaken for gunshots provoked the stampede, injuring twelve and separating families.

Imagine living in a country where armed soldiers crash through doors to arrest and imprison citizens merely for criticizing government officials.

Imagine that in this very same country, you’re watched all the time, and if you look even a little bit suspicious, the police stop and frisk you or pull you over to search you on the off chance you’re doing something illegal.

Keep in mind that if you have a firearm of any kind (or anything that resembled a firearm) while in this country, it may get you arrested and, in some circumstances, shot by police.

If you’re thinking this sounds like America today, you wouldn’t be far wrong.

However, the scenario described above took place more than 200 years ago, when American colonists suffered under Great Britain’s version of an early police state. It was only when the colonists finally got fed up with being silenced, censored, searched, frisked, threatened, and arrested that they finally revolted against the tyrant’s fetters.

No document better states their grievances than the Declaration of Independence, drafted by Thomas Jefferson.

A document seething with outrage over a government which had betrayed its citizens, the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776, by 56 men who laid everything on the line, pledged it all—“our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor”—because they believed in a radical idea: that all people are created to be free.

Labeled traitors, these men were charged with treason, a crime punishable by death. For some, their acts of rebellion would cost them their homes and their fortunes. For others, it would be the ultimate price—their lives.

Protesters snarled up major UK roads on Monday with a slow-moving procession of vehicles to demand government action against rocketing fuel prices.

The action came as senior criminal lawyers staged a second walkout in England and Wales against years of government cuts to their fees, intensifying a "summer of discontent" as strikes sweep Britain.

Rail workers have already staged a series of stoppages to press for better pay as Britain's headline inflation reaches a 40-year high of just under 10 percent, driven in part by the war in Ukraine.

On the roads, a social media campaign called Fuel Price Stand Against Tax mobilised drivers to drive deliberately slowly on motorways and other arterial routes, demanding the government slash fuel duty.

One of the motorways affected was the M4 including the Prince of Wales Bridge, which links England and Wales.
