Thought for the day

"This vaccine is directly killing individuals…It can damage you, no doubt about it.  The scoreboard is lit up as bright as it can be: death, hospitalization, cardiac and neurologic injuries, miscarriage, still birth, it can’t get worse.  I can’t think of any drug or any injection that is as dangerous as this group of vaccines, in particular, the Pfizer vaccine." -- Dr. Peter A. McCullough

My vote is for “Farcical Bureau of Investigation” or “Federal Bureau of Intimidation.” Poll to contain the good suggestions.

No disrespect intended for the rank-and-file, but certain actors in upper management have some issues.

Kyle Kopec gets a kick out of leading tours through the run-down hospitals his boss is buying, pointing out what he calls relics of poor management left by a revolving door of operators.

For instance, at a hospital in this town of 1,700 about a 90-minute drive northwest from Nashville, the X-ray machine is beyond repair.

"This system is so old, it's been using a floppy disk," said Kopec, 23, marveling at the bendy black square that hardly has enough memory to hold a single digital photo. "I've never actually seen a floppy disk in use. I've seen them in the Smithsonian."

There's a point to exposing these rural hospitals' state of disrepair — the company Kopec works for, Braden Health, is buying buildings worth millions of dollars for next to nothing with a promise to keep running them as health centers serving their communities. Braden for its part, thinks it can run them more effectively than the previous owners and turn a profit.

A NATO counterterrorism official from a European country said the stabbing had all the hallmarks of a “guided” attack, where an intelligence service talks a supporter into action, without direct support or involvement in the attack itself.

“Close scrutiny needs to be paid to his communications,” said the NATO official, who was not authorised to speak on the record. “More investigation will reveal more information on the exact nature of the links.”

Is there any update about the recent FBI of Mar-a-Lago that doesn’t make it seem like the Justice Department’s ransacking was a political hit job on a former president? Like their previous work on trying to keep the Russian collusion investigation, which was a hoax, alive—the FBI’s reasoning is beset by contradictions, hypocrisy, or outright incompetence. These setbacks usually happen when an investigation isn’t based on fact but rather on political animus. You do stupid things when you’re angry or emotionally blinded. That’s the entire political class that infests DC, terrified of another Trump presidency. The most recent development about this federally stamped plundering of Trump’s home is that Attorney General Merrick Garland dithered on signing off on the search warrant (via WSJ):

Attorney General Merrick Garland deliberated for weeks over whether to approve the application for a warrant to search former President Donald Trump’s Florida home, people familiar with the matter said, a sign of his cautious approach that will be tested over the coming months.

The decision had been the subject of weeks of meetings between senior Justice Department and FBI officials, the people said. The warrant allowed agents last Monday to seize classified information and other presidential material from Mar-a-Lago.

Mr. Garland now faces a more momentous decision that will further sharpen an already unprecedented and politically fraught situation: whether to pursue charges against Mr. Trump or any of his allies over their handling of the records at issue and their interactions with Justice Department officials seeking to retrieve them.

A decision to bring charges in the matter against Mr. Trump or any of his allies would thrust the Justice Department deeper into a political environment in which the former president’s supporters and Republican lawmakers are already accusing Mr. Garland and the department of overreach.

When federal agents raided the home of former President Donald Trump, a first in our history, the Department of Justice had to have been aware of the fallout. There can't be a single official there who doesn't know how the Justice Department looks to roughly half the country. The Russian collusion hoax, the fake kidnapping plot against Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, the fabrication of evidence to secure spy warrants on Trump campaign officials, and the actual spy operation, Crossfire Hurricane, on the Trump campaign itself has degraded the DOJ's credibility with conservatives for years.

House Republicans are taking steps to getting answers from top Department of Justice and White House officials on the motivations behind the Mar-a-Lago raid. On Monday, members of the House Judiciary Committee, led by ranking member Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), signed preservation notices for Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray and White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain.

The notices demand all parties hand over documents and correspondence pertaining to the DOJ, FBI and White House’s collusion that allegedly led up to the search of 45th President Donald Trump’s home. The lawmakers fear the raid is just another act in which the Biden administration is weaponizing law enforcement against political opponents.

“Sometimes I just step back and say I cannot believe that this kind of stuff is going on in the greatest country ever,” said Rep. Jordan. “And I know it’s shocking to all of us and a concern, certainly I heard it from all our constituents with this past week as I was traveling around the district. They don’t know what to believe. They are so nervous and so scared by what they’ve seen.”

The New York Post reported that the NYPD has confirmed that 19-year-old Jahnaiya Williams of Queens was arrested on Monday morning and charged with assault and aggravated harassment, both of which are considered to be hate crimes.

Two other teenage girls had already been arrested after the three of them allegedly attacked Jill LeCroix, a 57-year-old grandmother of five, and struck her in the head with an unknown object on July 9. The victim was so severely injured that she had to get three staples put into her head. LeCroix was riding a city bus at the time of the attack.

“Before they hit me, the girl with the green hair said, ‘You probably like Trump! Don’t you?’” LeCroix recalled to The Post. “I said, ‘I love him.’ I didn’t see which one hit me first.”

“The one with the green hair, she was saying she hates white people, the way they talk, hates white skin, the way their skin cracks. Saying she was gangsta,” she added. “I was the only white person on the bus. By the time we started passing St. John’s Cemetery on Woodhaven, she started in on me, saying, ‘That’s where I’m going to bury you!’”

Renowned Hollywood actor Jon Voight took to social media to weigh in on the FBI’s raid on former president Donald Trump’s residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, condemning the law enforcement agency’s questionable actions and slamming the “Democrat fools” for spreading lies about the 45th president of the United States.

“This is now a cruel world. It’s of intention,” Voight prefaced in a post shared on Twitter. “[Trump] should be charged for what? For being straight forward? For allowing all to understand the meaning of America, land of the free? Is this a medieval time? A time when being wrongly condemned is to be expected?”

The outspoken conservative actor went on, “My fellow Americans, we must not allow our nation to crawl into a hole. We must not allow evil to overtake us all. Let us show who’s boss.”

Maloney is in the unique position of representing a district that Donald Trump won in 2016. He had a whole lot to say about Democrats’ approach to relating to voters:

“So for example, Democrats could be much more intentional about our work in rural areas, with veterans, with farmers, with people in communities that have not benefited from the global economy. I think that most of the voters that we ask about this think that we’re out of touch, they think we’re elitist, we think we are better than they are. And they don’t like it.”

Then, in a statement that tells you everything you need to know about the New York Times Editorial Board, Healy fired back, “What’s a Democratic phrase that doesn’t sound human? Like a talking point? Or when you say, we don’t sound human, what does that mean?”

Maloney seemed to have been caught a bit off guard and replied, “I mean, listen, I don’t know — anything that comes out of Chris Hayes’ mouth.”

Minnesota and North Dakota have made the list of enacting the craziest rules in public education in the name of our favorite three-letter acronym: DEI. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are making a comeback this school year, so you would be wrong for those hoping it was just a fad or a phase.

My home state of Minnesota has been a hub for bizarre antics over the last two years, spurred by the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. On the other hand, North Dakota generally flew under the radar as the Dakota that wasn’t South Dakota.

But thanks to DEI nonsense, the ‘other’ Dakota is on the progressive map of ridiculousness; congratulations, North Dakota! So let’s look at what these states have done.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy suggests Representative Liz Cheney’s projected defeat in her GOP primary for Wyoming’s at-large House seat Tuesday will be a “referendum” on the January 6 committee she serves as Vice Chair.

“I don’t think that she’s going to win,” McCarthy said in an interview with Fox News. “I think it’s going to be a referendum on the Jan. 6 committee.”

Confronted with Cheney’s conservative voting record, the potential next Speaker of the House pointed out that her focus has pivoted sharply into an all-out obsession with former President Donald Trump.

American voters are increasingly displeased with the policies of President Joe Biden and Democrats on Capitol Hill, which seems to be setting the stage for Republicans to regain control of Congress after the upcoming midterm elections.

If that happens, one senior GOP lawmaker recently signaled his intention to “get to the bottom” of the FBI’s recent raid of former President Donald Trump’s private residence in Florida.

Specifically, Senate Judiciary Committee ranking GOP member Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said that as chairman of the panel he believes it is his “constitutional responsibility” to determine whether Attorney General Merrick Garland acted appropriately in approving the unannounced search of Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate.

He noted that lawmakers have received “a great deal of runaround from the Justice Department” regardless of who is in the White House, alleging that sources within the agency have told him that officials will try to stymie any congressional investigations that might arise in response to the FBI raid.

In its latest report on this new spending bill, CBS said it “may not” be able to drive down inflation rates. CBS cited a study from the Penn Wharton Budget Model which states it’s not possible to distinguish from zero the impact the Inflation Reduction Act would have on high consumer costs.

Naturally, this isn’t news to many Americans. Republicans have been saying for quite some time now that this bill which relies on federal spending and taxation won’t actually lower inflation.

Although many health care experts and elected officials pushed for vaccine mandates in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, a wide range of Americans were opposed to such requirements — and many lost their jobs for refusing to comply.

Now, hundreds of hospital employees in Illinois, including many who have since resigned or been fired, will share an eight-figure settlement following a lawsuit filed just under a year ago.

All parties agreed to the $10.3 million settlement late last month and more than 500 current and employees from more than a dozen NorthShore University HealthSystems locations were named as litigants. The health care workers said that the hospital system did not provide religious exemptions to the vaccine mandate.

On June 8, 1967, Israeli forces tried to sink a U.S. Navy ship, the USS Liberty, killing 34 American servicemen and wounding 174.

According to former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Thomas Moorer, “In attacking the USS Liberty, Israel committed acts of murder against American servicemen and an act of war against the United States…. Those men were then betrayed and left to die by our own government.”

The survivors are still awaiting justice while the US continues to give Israel over $10 million per day of Americans’ tax money.

The Liberty crew is one of the most decorated in U.S. Naval history. Yet, for decades this attack has been covered up and misrepresented. Justice for Liberty, filmed at the crew’s 54th anniversary reunion in Pensacola, Florida, allows these men to tell the American public their stories, some for the first time. It is time for the truth to come out.

Kerry's office has scooped up individuals who have had past leadership positions at gatherings like the United Nations Foundation, World Resources Institute, International Monetary Fund, Natural Resources Defense Council and many different major global or green organizations, according to a Fox News Digital review. The organizations have largely characterized global warming as the "climate crisis" and have pushed for a rapid global transition away from fossil fuel reliance.

"It's not surprising — it's essentially the same old gang," Myron Ebell, the director of the Competitive Enterprise Institute's Center for Energy and Environment, explained to Fox News Digital in an interview. "These are the people who have been working on and failing on these issues for decades."

The Movement for Black Lives, a coalition of over 50 groups, including the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, issued a blog post Thursday commemorating Black August, a controversial prison-based holiday established in the 1960s by the Black Guerrilla Family.

"This week, in partnership with our comrades at [Malcolm X Grassroots Movement], we're highlighting five current Black political prisoners to raise awareness and support for these warriors," the post declares. "We're calling on you to sign petitions, write letters, donate, and spread the word, as we advocate for the release of all prisoners and the abolition of the prison industrial complex."

Britain recorded its biggest rise in foreign workers since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in the year to June, driven overwhelmingly by workers from outside the European Union, official figures showed on Tuesday.

Since January 2021, most EU citizens not already working in Britain must be sponsored by an employer and be paid a salary that does not significantly undercut existing wages, after losing their previous almost-unrestricted right to work.

The post-Brexit change puts EU migrants on the same footing as those from the rest of the world, but has drawn complaints from employers who find the process bureaucratic, and a non-starter for most jobs that pay less than 25,600 pounds ($30,760) a year.

Tuesday's Office for National Statistics data showed the number of foreign-born workers in Britain rose by 223,000 in the year to the end of June, up from an increase of 184,000 in the year to March and the biggest rise since early 2020.

President Biden and his administration are supposed to launch a nationwide tour in the following weeks to shore up its standing with voters, and promote its recent legislative wins, as Democrats face an uphill battle with three months until the November midterm elections.

According to the White House, Biden intends to rally support across the nation by touting recent policy and political successes, including the passage of a massive social spending and taxation bill officially known as the Inflation Reduction Act. The tour may also serve as an attempt to assist in staving off historical trends that could see Republicans getting more control of the House of Representatives and potentially the Senate.

Fourteen FBI whistleblowers have come forward to provide information to Republican congressional investigations, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said on Aug. 14, about a week after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s Florida home.

“Fourteen FBI agents have come to our office as whistleblowers, and they are good people,” Jordan told Fox News. “There are lots of good people in the FBI. It’s the top that is the problem.”

Some of these good agents are coming to us, telling us … what’s going on—the political nature now of the Justice Department … talking about the school board issue, about a whole host of issues,” he added.

Two months ago, Jordan said that six FBI whistleblowers approached the committee. Two came forward about a memo related to alleged violence and intimidation at school board meetings and four in connection to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach. In the Senate, meanwhile, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said in July that whistleblowers had come to his office to provide information, including disclosures relating to investigations into Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings.

It’s becoming a well-worn trail of agents who say this has got to stop, and thank goodness for them and that American people recognize it, and I believe they’re going to make a big change on Nov. 8,” Jordan said, referring to the midterm elections.

In June, Jordan sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray warning that several former FBI officials were coming forward, while alleging the agency is “purging” employees who have conservative views.

In one such example, the FBI targeted and suspended the security clearance of a retired war servicemember who had disclosed personal views that the FBI was not being entirely forthcoming about the events of January 6,” Jordan wrote in a statement. “The FBI questioned the whistleblower’s allegiance to the United States despite the fact that the whistleblower honorably served in the United States military for several years—including deployments in Kuwait and Iraq—valiantly earning multiple military commendation medals.”

Last night, thousands of Serbs marched through the main streets of Belgrade in protest of the Euro Pride march expected to be held in the capital city next month.

Estimates of the number of participants vary. Balkan Insight reports 5-10,000 people, while Danas reports more than 10,000. According to the Ukrainian outlet Strana, local Serbian outlets are reporting more than 50,000 participants.

The procession began in front of the Serbian Patriarchate administration and ended at the Church of St. Mark.

Marchers bore crosses and icons of Christ, the Theotokos, and various saints, chanting prayers and shouting various slogans: “We don’t want gay parades and Western occupation!” “We won’t give up our holy sites!”

They also carried banners reading: “Hands off our children!”

The procession “included Belgradians of all ages, from the elderly to babies, as well as numerous priests and monastics,” reports Danas.

RINO Liz Cheney was defeated in the Wyoming Primary by huge numbers.  A Trump America First candidate, Harriet Hageman born and raised in Wyoming kicked Cheney's ass.  But this wasn't just a repudiation of Trump Hater Cheney, it was the end of the Bush Cheney era.  What Establishment Republicans just don't seem to understand is that Trump owns the Republican Party; but it is really Trump's America First policies that resonate with the base of the party not just Trump himself.

Liz Cheney forgot that her job was to represent the people of Wyoming instead of focusing on her hatred of President Trump.  What is really laughable in her sort of concession speech, Cheney compared herself to Abraham Lincoln as though now her job is to run for President to save the Republican Party from its voters.  Laughable!!  Country Club Republicans who have been feeding at the trough for decades are over.  We are sick and tired of their endless wars and betrayal of the American people in the name of the Deep State, foreign countries and the military industrial complex.

Liz Cheney lives in Virginia and has for decades.  She is not really from Wyoming.  In the process of her campaign, Cheney raised $15 million primarily from out of state donors.  She spent about $7 million of this money on her campaign because she knows that when she leave office in January, she can walk away with the difference.  That is just how it works and the game is played in the DC Swamp.

The modus operandi of the West’s “elites” is that it’s not the truth that matters but successfully managing the hypocrisy so that it doesn’t appear too painfully obvious.

Soon after Nancy Pelosi’s recent descent on Taiwan, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called out Nicholas Burns, the U.S. ambassador to China, for “keeping an embarrassed silence” regarding Madame Speaker’s “brash and insolent stunt.” Burns’ silence was quite a change from a mere month back at the World Peace Forum in Beijing, where he “demanded that China stop supporting the war in Ukraine or relaying ‘Russian propaganda’.” Even more brazenly, Burns used that opportunity to flatly accuse the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson of “telling lies about American bioweapons labs, which do not exist in Ukraine.”

But that was then and this is now in the West’s “rules-based order,” where each occasion requires a new set of rules. Thus, it goes without saying that, for the time being, Burns is also keeping an “embarrassed silence” about another potentially tectonic event – the latest, even more damning evidence of the work of U.S.-run biolabs in Ukraine offered by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 4, including involvement in the Covid-19 pandemic, highly suspicious U.S.-funded research of the monkeypox, West Nile fever and African swine fever pathogens, and even U.S. involvement in the death of ex-Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez.

Trump is merely a messenger attempting to wake us to an evil that threatens to destroy everything good and decent in the world, Robert Bridge writes.

Let’s begin this brief foray into futility by putting aside our tortured feelings over Donald Trump and admitting one thing: the FBI raid on Mar-A-Lago proves that the establishment has the power to crush with impunity any person – even former/future presidents – who threatens the globalist agenda. This has implications not just for Americans, but for every person on this unholy planet.

Facing the grim prospect of imminent defeat in the upcoming midterm elections, the cunning Democrats are doing what they do best, which is, first, to cheat like hell. Second, to unleash all the tools of oppression at their disposal against their political enemies, namely Donald Trump, the DC outsider who once promised to ‘drain the swamp.’

Why haven’t Russian troops more forcefully attacked Dnipro, the Ukrainian city that is a spiritual center of the Chabad Hasidic Orthodox movement? According to one provocative Ukrainian Jewish oligarch, the answer is an ancient Kabbalistic curse against Russia’s Vladimir Putin.

Hennady Korban, who was stripped of his Ukrainian citizenship last month, told NV, a Ukrainian broadcaster, that he had initiated the curse, known as Pulsa Denura, against Putin — and that the Russian leader knew he had done so.

The Pulsa Denura is “a procedure in which you have to warn officially the enemy or person on whom you want to perform it, so that they know that such a procedure is being initiated against them. I warned Putin. Let him think further and draw conclusions,” Korban told NV in an interview that aired on August 11.

North Korea’s offer to send 100,000 peace workers to Eastern Ukraine is as much a game changer as was the appearance of the Red Army’s Siberian Divisions during the 1941-2 Battle of Moscow.

North Korea’s offer to send 100,000 peace workers to Eastern Ukraine is as much a game changer as was the appearance of the Red Army’s Siberian Divisions during the 1941-2 Battle of Moscow when Hitler’s exhausted Wehrmacht seemed on the verge of victory. Irrespective of whether Russia takes them up on the offer or not, because North Korea’s offer to trade their brawn for oil and grain has changed the status quo not only in Ukraine but in Syria, Iran and all other front line states as well, their offer is worth studying in more detail than that Newsweek and other discredited NATO outlets gave it.

In doing some basic math, let’s treat this proposal like the path breaking 1981 win-win swap between IBM and the World Bank. We have, thus, two key sides to this transaction, North Korea, which has an impressive work force to offer in exchange for scarce resources Russia, thanks to NATO’s criminal sanctions, has in abundance. Working at a price of $100 for a mixed basket of oil and grain, we see that Russia would be contracted to supply 100,000 baskets per stipulated time period when the North Korea work force reaches its full complement in Donbas, Damascus or wherever else they are deployed.
