Millions of people worldwide store their credit and debit cars on their smartphone to eliminate the need of carrying around too much plastic.

But a TikTok video has warned that users shouldn't link their bank accounts to digital payment apps like Samsung Wallet and Apple Pay.

TikTokers Dean and Alexis, who offer financial advice on their account, urged users to instead only have their credit cards linked.

The reason is if someone steals your smartphone they can access the stored information to send themselves money - ultimately draining your bank account.

Spotify’s brief attempt at being a hardware company wasn’t all that successful: the company stopped producing its Car Thing dashboard accessory less than a year after it went on sale to the public. And now, two years later, the device is about to be rendered completely inoperable. Customers who bought the Car Thing are receiving emails warning that it will stop working altogether as of December 9th.

Unfortunately for those owners, Spotify isn’t offering any kind of subscription credit or automatic refund for the device — nor is the company open-sourcing it. Rather, it’s just canning the project and telling people to (responsibly) dispose of Car Thing.

Senior managers from NASA and Boeing told reporters on Friday that they plan to launch the first crew test flight of the Starliner spacecraft as soon as June 1, following several weeks of detailed analysis of a helium leak and a "design vulnerability" with the ship's propulsion system.

Extensive data reviews over the last two-and-a-half weeks settled on a likely cause of the leak, which officials described as small and stable. During these reviews, engineers also built confidence that even if the leak worsened, it would not add any unacceptable risk for the Starliner test flight to the International Space Station, officials said.
