"'Congress shall make no law respecting an institution of religion.' -- The First Amendment to the Constitution

A Nativity scene (or a Menorah for that matter) is not a law, it is a decoration. And on that basis, even though I myself am an atheist, I do not have a problem with Nativity scenes on government property, other than they are a reminder that those are the people we are bombing to steal their oil.

I do draw the line at the Ten Commandments being on display on government buildings with its prohibitions against lying, theft, and killing, as that hostile work environment!" -- Michael Rivero

Cynthia “Cyn” Carranza meticulously scavenged for a shady parking spot in the car she called home.

The overnight custodian at Disneyland has to sleep during the day - a difficulty for anyone, let alone when you're living in your car with two dogs. Ms Carranza says she makes $20.65 an hour (about £15.99) at the park but last summer, she couldn't afford rent in this Southern California city where the average apartment can run more than $2,000 (about £1,550) a month.

Ms Carranza teared up as she recounted the struggles of that summer, including sneaking for showers in Disneyland's costume department. She now shares a small apartment with her boyfriend, who also works at the park, but still makes barely enough to make ends meet.

“That’s not something that anybody should experience working a full-time job for a company like Disney,” she told the BBC.

CrowdStrike's massive blunder, which resulted in worldwide outages, has brought the company back on the radar of the American citizenry, who now remembers its work with the World Economic Forum, Vanguard, and the Democratic Party.

On July 19, 2024, CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz said that a "defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts" had led to a major breakdown in Microsoft operations.

This resulted in more than 18,000 flights being grounded across the globe, including 1,200 in the United States.

What's more, the crash brings the company back into the spotlight for yet another negative reason: The company has been synonymous with the political sphere for the better part of the last decade.

Remember when Dr. Fauci joined forces with TikTok influencers to push the COVID-19 vaccine and combat “vaccine misinformation” after closing schools and churches for months while lying about gain-of-function research during the pandemic?

The North American Treaty Organization is trying the same thing on foreign policy. As the latest PR stunt, NATO enlisted 16 content creators and paid for all transportation, meals, and accommodation for its annual summit to help improve the organization’s reputation and inform the youth about the importance of the alliance amid the endless Russia-Ukraine war. The U.S. State and Defense Departments also invited an additional ten influencers.

The high school incident was quickly linked to Crooks and his friends, but school officials at the time dismissed the threats. “We all texted one another and it came out pretty quickly that it was Thomas and his friend group who’d made the threats,” Taormina added.

Crooks’ recent actions, however, were far from dismissed. At a Trump campaign rally, Crooks fired seven shots from a rooftop, aiming for the former president. Although Trump only sustained a minor injury, the attack resulted in the death of a father of two and left two others seriously injured. Explosives were later discovered in Crooks’ vehicle, which was parked near the rally site.

The 2019 threat from Crooks came during a time when he was frequently bullied and was even given the cruel nickname “the school shooter.” His absence from the yearbook that year was another indication of his troubled school life.

Former President Donald Trump has widened his lead over President Joe Biden in the aftermath of his assassination attempt on Saturday, according to a Morning Consult poll released Friday.

Trump leads Biden by four points, receiving 46% support to Biden’s 42%, just days after 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired shots at the former president during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to the poll. This four point lead is Trump’s largest polling advantage since February, and is just one point short of his record five point lead over Biden in January.

President Joe Biden released a statement on Friday indicating that he has no plans of dropping out of the presidential race as calls for him to do so continue to mount from members of his own party.

Biden issued a statement through his campaign where he attacked former President Donald Trump over his speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday, claiming “for over 90 minutes, he focused on his own grievances, with no plan to unite us and no plan to make life better for working people.”

The 81-year-old made false claims about Trump’s policy platform and falsely claimed that Trump “destroyed our economy once and will inflict pain on the middle class” and that he “wants to gut the checks and balances of our Constitution and rule as a dictator on day one.”

If there’s one liberal who can make sense of what’s going on in the world today, it’s Bill Maher — and he has a message regarding the current president.

“Let’s be clear about Biden,” Maher says to Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report.” “Should he run for president? No. As we were saying, I was saying a long time ago, he shouldn’t. Is he the best choice? No. Is he completely out of his mind? No, he’s not lost his marbles.”

“You talk yourself into the extremes,” he adds.

“I don’t know that that’s extreme,” Rubin counters. “I don’t have any sense that he has the wherewithal, if they woke him up at 7:30, 11:30, or 3:30, that he would know where he is or what he’s doing.”

The incident involving Philippe Herlin's remarks on CNews, a prominent French news channel, has stirred significant controversy and regulatory action.

Herlin, a notable economist, was given a platform to express his skepticism regarding anthropogenic global warming during a broadcast. He characterized climate change as a fabricated concept aimed at justifying state intervention, going so far as to describe it as a form of totalitarianism.

Neither the hosts of the program nor any other participants in the studio challenged his assertions. This lack of opposition on air ultimately led to repercussions for CNews.

The French media regulator, Arcom (formerly CSA), conducted an investigation and found that CNews had violated broadcasting standards by failing to ensure a balanced presentation of controversial viewpoints.

The incident on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania is the first time a would-be assassin has shot at a U.S. president or presidential candidate since John Hinckley shot President Ronald Reagan on March 30, 1981. As such, it is the first assassination attempt in our era in which most citizens are carrying cell phones equipped with video cameras.

Instead of one “Zapruder film,” we now have hundreds of videos of the incident, shot from multiple locations and angles. Instead of depending on the mainstream media for reporting, we now have hundreds of citizen documentarians who can capture footage and rapidly upload it to the internet.

In this video production of the McCullough Foundation, we analyze multiple video recordings and witness testimonies of the Trump assassination attempt. Please check out our critical presentation and evaluation of this historically significant incident and share it with your friends.

Reports: Police Were Stationed Below Trump Shooter, Who Was Allegedly Spotted Nearly 30 Minutes Before

It does seem like the Secret Service wanted Trump dead.

Having failed Trump so badly, how can Trump trust them now?

From a reliable source, an Interpol official with years of experience in missions abroad, we received the link to a new video published about the attack on pediatric hospital in Kiev (precisely on an old building and not to the new hospital which the shock wave damaged only the power plant separated from the complex and some windows and balconies of one of the 5 pavilions…).

It supports our thesis that the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, on the eve of the NATO summit, deliberately fired a rocket from the former USSR also supplied to Ukraine against the neighborhood (after having it evacuated given that an official list of the dead does not exist) to stage one of the most serious military and media disinformation maneuvers in history.

The official narrative for Trump’s near assassination that is forming seems to be Secret Service incompetence. The security voids are being attributed to an inexperienced Secret Service team, to a lack of communication between local police and Secret Service, and to the Secret Service director’s statement that the slope of the roof made it too dangerous to have Secret Service agents on the roof. But not too dangerous for the shooter. And without regard to the danger to which Trump was left exposed.

So, if there is an investigation, it will be about whether “diversity, equity, and inclusion” harmed competence, and not about whether the deep state intended Trump’s assassination.

The security lapses are so large that they naturally lead to what are called “conspiracy theories.” Without honest and intelligent investigative reporters supported by news organizations, the general public cannot tell when information is a conspiracy theory and when the charge that it is a conspiracy theory is used to suppress factual information that doesn’t fit the official narrative.

Two pieces of information and one hypothesis have emerged that fall into the difficult to assess zone. One is that Austin Private Wealth, LLC shorted 12,000,000 shares of Trump Media & Technology Group shares. If Trump had been killed, this short would result in massive profit. The investment company explains away its short as a “clerical error.” In other words, just more incompetence. https://www.rt.com/business/601286-blackrock-trump-shooting-stock/

Another piece of information is a report that acoustics indicates two different gunshots. This, if true, implies that the 20-year old was a patsy for a real assassination, which went wrong because Trump turned his head, and explains the police and Secret Service’s tolerance for Thomas Crooks’ armed presence until after he fired his shots.

That’s right … Despite being on the Secret Service's radar for 62 minutes, they somehow “lost track” of him. Yes, they lost track of a guy with a range finder and a rifle. Maybe he had an invisible suit? Or perhaps he used some top-secret cloaking device? It’s not like someone walking around with a gun and rangefinder should raise any red flags. No, it’s perfectly normal for the elite team tasked with protecting the President just to let someone like that slip through their fingers.

When they finally “found” Crooks, he had climbed the warehouse roof. Remember, according to the Secret Service, a three-man counter-sniper team is set up in that same warehouse. Everyone knows you can hear a squirrel on a metal roof, but the team below Crooks couldn't hear him on the roof.

Evidently, a police officer saw him on the roof and confronted him, but Crooks pointed his weapon, causing the officer to duck and fall off the roof. The officer’s radio call about "an individual on the roof with a weapon" apparently didn’t warrant immediate evacuation of President Trump. Because, of course, why would it?

Big tech's crackdown on "gunfluencers" is nothing new, but policies at social media companies are becoming increasingly restrictive (read: here), leading to the demonetization of numerous channels. The latest victim of this aggressive censorship isn't even the typical gun YouTuber but instead a competitive rifle shooter on Team USA for the Paralympics.

Just The News reports that McKenna Geer, a competitive rifle shooter, had her Instagram account censored before she heads to Paris for the Paralympic Games in late August. Next week, the Olympic Games are set to begin.

Webmaster addition: I am worried about the Olympics. Right now the Deep State badly needs a distraction from the collapsing "lone shooter" story.

Webmaster addition: This makes a compelling case that there was a second shooter inside the building near the ground under the roof where Crooks lay. Just listening to the audio it is clear the first 3 shots sound very different from the ones that followed. Politicians are considering a 'good-conscience loophole' that would enable them to vote for a new candidate.

She briefed them on the 'loophole' - which would let them drop Biden if they do not have a 'good conscience' about their pledged choice determined by primaries and caucuses.

It has been revealed that the gunman who attempted to assassinate Trump at a Pennsylvania rally last week flew a drone over the site just hours before the shooting.

Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was able to navigate the drone over the western Pennsylvania fairgrounds and obtain aerial footage on July 13 - the same day as Trump's Butler rally.

Crooks allegedly flew the drone on a programmed flight path earlier in the day, and officials say that the predetermined path suggests Crooks had flown the small aircraft more than once in order to scope out the site of the rally.

The shocking revelation was made on Friday - almost a week after the ill-fated campaign event - by law-enforcement officials, according to the Wall Street Journal.

It was yet another example of how the Secret Service failed to do an adequate job of securing the area, leaving the MAGA crowd and the former president exposed to the subsequent dangerous situation.

Webmaster addition: I am not sure I buy this. This could be a propaganda attempt to deflect questions of how Crooks knew where to go. But video taken hours before the shooting would not guarantee that the roof would still be unguarded!

The View's Joy Behar has been slammed for describing Donald Trump as 'very narcissistic' after he claimed he survived his assassination attempt because God was 'on his side' – with a growing mob now calling for her to be sacked.

The former president, 78, acknowledged his Christian faith as he addressed the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, earlier this week, marking his first speech since he was shot at by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks last Saturday.

Behar, 81, criticized Trump's lengthy statement during Friday's episode, branding his words 'very unchristian' and 'disturbing.'

Before taking the ABC show to an ad break, she said: 'What I want to point out, one thing. I'm speaking to fellow Christians, I was raised Catholic. I'm a Christian girl.

'When something like this happens to you like this assassination attempt and you say something like "God was watching me," that is a very unchristian thing to say because it's very narcissistic.'

Aside from those figures, about 6.5 million children worldwide didn’t receive a third dose of the DTAP vaccine, which the U.N. agencies say is “necessary to achieve disease protection” as an infant or a young child.

Other than its DTAP findings, the U.N. agencies also stated that vaccination rates for measles “stalled” in 2023, leaving about 35 million children worldwide with “no or only partial protection.”

It keeps getting worse: Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, reportedly flew a drone over the rally area shortly before he executed his attack. Crooks scaled a rooftop unmolested, despite scores of attendees watching him army crawl on the roof, which was left unprotected by the Secret Service, as he lined up to take shots at Trump.

The roof was less than 200 yards from the stage. Donald Trump Jr. responded to this update tweeting, "Just to underscore how crazy this all is, I was once prevented flying my own drone off of the beach at Mar-a-Lago by USSS because my father was inside the house"

The European Union (EU) is looking for lithium to power its transition away from fossil fuels and help it compete in the global race for clean technology. Over the past three yearsm the bloc has been on a self-styled "raw material diplomacy" mission, inking resource deals with 13 countries including Canada, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Rwanda, Argentina and Namibia. Now, the EU has a new name to add to the list: Serbia

The Balkan country is more often at odds with the EU than on the same page. It’s kept close ties with Russia and China, and resisted Brussels’ longstanding expectation that aspirant EU members like Serbia replicate EU sanctions on Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine

But on Friday when Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stood side-by-side with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and European Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic to announce a new "strategic partnership" covering raw materials, battery supply chains and electric vehicles, those foreign policy differences were swiftly swept aside.

Before Hamas-led attack in Israel on October 7, 2023, Washington was exporting arms worth an average of $3 billion (€2.76 billion) per year to Israel. In absolute terms, however, Israel imports fewer arms from the US than other countries in the region.

Over the past five years, Israel has received 3.6% of US arms exports, while15% have gone to Saudi Arabia, 8.2% to Qatar and 4.5% to Kuwait.
