Last October, Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, was allegedly attacked by an intruder at the Pelosi’s home in San Francisco sometime around 2 am. The 82 year old millionaire reportedly suffered a severe brain injury from a full force blow from a hammer to the head that required immediate brain surgery. He was, however, able to give a statement during the ambulance ride to the hospital.
The U.S. Department of Education stated Monday that it would disband its newly advisory council on families and education ‘immediately and permanently’ after various parental rights groups sued, arguing it was politically biased and violated federal law.
Since the brutal murder of 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini from injuries sustained at the hands of regime thugs after her arrest for the “improper” wearing of a hijab, Iran has been engulfed in massive protests against the brutal regime.
Western sanctions against Russia will not be lifted, if Russia "dictates" its terms of a peace settlement in Ukraine, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in an article for Foreign Affairs magazine, published on Monday.
"It was clear from the outset of the war that these sanctions would have to be in place for a long time, as their effectiveness increases with each passing week," Scholz writes. He states that Moscow "needs to understand that not a single sanction will be lifted should Russia try to dictate the terms of a peace deal."
In coordination with its partners, "Germany stands ready to reach arrangements to sustain Ukraine’s security as part of a potential postwar peace settlement," says Scholz. He argues that to end the conflict in Ukraine Russia must withdraw its troops.
Webmaster addition: Olaf just killed any chance of a peace deal.
Germany intends to become the guarantor of European security that its allies expect it to be, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz wrote in his article for Foreign Affairs, published on Monday.
Germany is doing all it can to foster an international order based on the principles of the UN Charter, Scholz said. According to the magazine, his country’s prosperity, security, and democracy depend on binding power to common rules.
"That is why Germans are intent on becoming the guarantor of European security that our allies expect us to be, a bridge builder within the European Union and an advocate for multilateral solutions to global problems," the German chancellor insisted.
Administration of the Polish city of Krakow decided to reduce its operating hours to save electricity, local media said on Monday.
The Polish authorities issued an order to reduce electricity consumption by 10% fromNovember 1. The officials who fail to fulfill the order can face a fine of up to 20,000 zlotys ($4,500).
From December 5, the administration of Krakow is reducing its customer service hours at all facilities until 3:30 p.m. (14:30 GMT) in order to cut electricity bills, Polish radio RMF FM reported.
Meanwhile, the city administration has established customer service points in some shopping centers, where residents will be able resolve their issues until 6 p.m. The administration emphasized that many formalities can be resolved by mail.
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev took to his Telegram channel to excoriate the West’s price cap on Russian oil.
"It is merely astonishing how mankind likes to step on the same rake again and again, in an attempt to control prices for the sake of politics," the ex-president said. Such attempts have always ended with a commodity vanishing or its price soaring because the law of value remains in effect, he noted.
"This is what will happen with crude oil. Certainly, it will not disappear, but someone is dying to try and jump into the cold water to boast of his decisiveness later during elections," Medvedev maintained. "One thing is clear here - there will be nothing good for consumers, and that’s for sure," he says. "So let them stock up on schnapps, quilt blankets, and boilers," he suggested, warning "the worst is ahead, winter has just begun."
The national political and military leaders who committed America to wars of choice in Vietnam, the Balkans, Afghanistan, and Iraq, did so as a rule because they were convinced the fighting would be short and decisive. American presidents, presidential advisors, and senior military leaders never stopped to consider that national strategy, if it exists at all, consists of avoiding conflict unless the nation is attacked and compelled to fight.
The latest victim of this mentality is Ukraine. In the absence of a critical root-and-branch analysis of Russia’s national power and strategic interests, American senior military leaders and their political bosses viewed Russia through a narrowly focused lens that magnified U.S. and Ukrainian strengths but ignored Russia’s strategic advantages—geographic depth, almost limitless natural resources, high social cohesion, and the military-industrial capacity to rapidly scale up its military power.
Russian investigators completed on Monday a probe against Colombian citizen Alberto Enrique Giraldo Saray, who had created bot farms to spread fake reports about Russia's military operation in Ukraine on US instructions in the spring of 2022.
"The Russian Investigative Committee has completed the probe into the criminal case against Colombian citizen Giraldo Saray. He is accused of deliberately distributing false information about the use of the Russian armed forces in the special military operation," the committee said in a statement.
According to the investigation, Giraldo Saray, together with other members of a criminal group, organized a mass mailing of fake messages for a monetary reward on instructions from abroad. As part of the scheme, the intruders gained remote access to various mobile devices and sent such messages from Russian phone numbers.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has indirectly acknowledged he is locked in a power struggle with a rival political faction backed by former Chinese President Jiang Zemin. The admission can be found in recent charges related to sedition and state secrets against former Chinese security vice minister Sun Lijun (pictured), who was arrested in April of 2020.
Since Sun was formerly the most senior Chinese police official dealing with Hong Kong, the public charges of rebellion against Sun confirm Hong Kong is a proxy battleground for the power struggle in the corridors of power in Beijing.
“Sun was at the heart of the spillover of factionalism from the mainland to Hong Kong. Hong Kong was a proxy for that,” a risk consultant told Asia Sentinel. “This is the beginning of open warfare. It’s the political rebellion against Xi being so openly stated that’s telling.”
Palestinian human rights organization Al-Haq, along with a coalition of other leading Palestinian civil society organizations, have released a new landmark report on Israeli apartheid, titled ‘Israeli Apartheid: Tool of Zionist Settler Colonialism’.
The new report, published November 29, explores apartheid as a “a structural element of furthering Zionist settler colonialism” – a framework previously overlooked by international and Israeli human rights organizations in their own reports on Israeli apartheid.
“Palestinian civil society demand decolonisation and dismantling of Israel’s settler colonialism and apartheid regime, the fulfilment of the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, systematically denied since the British mandate, and the right of refugees and exiles in the diaspora to return,” Al-Haq said in a statement on the day of the report’s release.
The globalist cabal that invented and drove the make-believe COVID narrative is facing growing problems, as holes in the logic just keep getting larger over time. Case in point: The irrational promotion of vaccine equity.1
According to the World Health Organization and other globalist strongholds, the Western world must sponsor vaccine deliveries to developing nations to make sure everyone has an equal chance at survival.2
The problem is that developing nations with the lowest COVID jab uptakes have fared no worse, and in some cases far better, than developing countries that greedily “hoarded” shots and boosters for themselves.
Congressional sources tell The Dossier that there is a strong enough appetite in Congress, given the unanimously pro-war Democratic voting bloc, and the significant amount of Republicans who support the perpetual funding of the Zelensky government in Ukraine, to pass a bill by the end of next week that will deliver tens of billions of dollars into Kiev’s coffers.
The Dossier discussed the voting blocs with congressional staff multiple representatives on Capitol Hill, and it is clear that there is indeed some strong resistance to additional heaps of war funding among some factions of the GOP. However, Republican leadership and a majority of Republicans in the Senate continue to support the blank check Ukraine policy.
On Wednesday, the Senate will convene for a classified briefing on Ukraine, through which unnamed intelligence officials in the Biden Administration will make senators feel more comfortable about the merits of forcing the U.S. taxpayer to involuntarily support the White House’s proposed $38 billion overseas grant.
US-funded bioresearch on foreign soil appears to be a “giant intelligence operation” for assessing biowarfare capabilities, according to a whistleblower. Collecting and tinkering with bat coronaviruses in China ultimately resulted in the accidental release of SARS-CoV-2, the infection that causes Covid-19, he believes.
Dr. Andrew Huff once worked as the vice president of EcoHealth Alliance, an NGO involved in funneling US taxpayer dollars to bioresearch projects around the world. One of them, which was conducted at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), was the origin of Covid-19 pandemic, and both Beijing and Washington were involved in a massive cover-up, he claimed. On Saturday, British tabloid The Sun reported on the allegations, which Huff has detailed in an upcoming book.
The Western media shared another interview with a mercenary who returned from Ukraine and revealed interesting details about the ongoing military conflict.
The British “volunteer” Josef McDonald claimed that a lot of foreign weapons disappear in Ukraine before they reach the front lines. He provided an example from his personal experience. When he moved with his unit from the Rovno region to Kharkov, they had two trucks full of:
A disabled veteran in Canada has revealed that the Trudeau regime pressured her to be euthanized because she didn’t have enough money to afford a wheelchair lift in her home.
Retired Army Corporal Christine Gauthier, a former Paralympian, testified in Parliament on Thursday that a Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) caseworker, working on behalf of the Trudeau administration, made the assisted suicide offer.
After years of frustrating delays in getting the home lift installed, Gauthier says the caseworker told her: ‘Madam, if you are really so desperate, we can give you medical assistance in dying now.’
Dailymail.co.uk reports: The worker who made the offer hasn’t been named, but they are feared to have offered three other veterans who contacted VAC with problems the same ‘solution’, Global News reported.
The scandal emerged a week after Canada’s veterans affairs minister confirmed that at least four other veterans were similarly offered access to Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) law in response to their troubles, a situation Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called ‘absolutely unacceptable’.
Webmaster addition: I'll bet the US Government is thinking the same thing; saving money by killing off living liabilities! Take a look at the trend in the budget!
Canada used to be a serious country and a fine place to live and raise a family. Canadians fought valiantly in both World Wars, manned peacekeeping missions and have welcomed refugees, including my own grandparents, from war-torn lands with open arms and warm hearts.
Its high taxes have been the foundational stone of a generous social welfare system, a universal socialized medical system, relatively good public schools and public universities among other social programs. As a G7 nation, it has long held a place at the table of the world’s most formidable countries.
That country no longer exists. Canada is in indisputable moral and economic decline.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is petulant, tyrannical, and anti-liberty in personality and policy. His anti-freedom stances, and his unapologetic admiration of murderous dictatorships such as China and their “basic dictatorship” have set the tone and pace of the decline.
Americans by wide margins support continued arms and economic aid for Ukraine, but increasingly see the war as a stalemate and want Washington to push Kyiv to cut a peace deal with Russia soonest, a poll shows.
A survey by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs think tank found that, despite recent military gains by Ukrainian forces against their Russian foes, US support for Kyiv appears to be waning — especially among Republican voters.
This is worrisome for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's government, which has depended on multi-billion dollar US support and military equipment to counter Russia's invasion, which began on February 24.
Measuring the effectiveness of the Moderna and Pfizer boosters against the BA.1 Omicron subvariant, researchers found that a booster upped protection against infection by just 6.1 percent for those who had a documented prior infection, or natural immunity.
The effectiveness of a primary series 14 to 149 days after a second dose was pegged as 41 percent for the group. A booster brought the protection to 47.1 percent.
Excluding people with a documented prior infection, the booster increased infection more.
People without documentation of a COVID-19 infection had 27.1 percent protection after a primary series. A booster increased that to 54.1 percent.
“While booster vaccination was associated with additional protection against Omicron BA.1 infection in people without a documented prior infection, it was not found to be associated with additional protection among people with a documented prior infection,” researchers said.
Europe’s energy crisis is about far more than just energy. It’s also the impetus for a major geopolitical reconfiguration at a global scale. No one knows exactly what the world’s energy and political landscapes will look like when the dust settles (which, by the way, will be years from now) but it’s guaranteed that it will be markedly different than it was the day before Russia – historically the largest exporter of oil and natural gas to the European Union by a long shot – illegally invaded Ukraine.
This year’s annual energy outlook from the International Energy Agency (IEA) warns that we are currently living through a “global energy crisis of unprecedented depth and complexity,” and that “there is no going back to the way things were” before the unprecedented dual shocks of the novel coronavirus pandemic and Russia’s war in Ukraine. Together, these events have already reconfigured the energy trade worldwide, but the shockwaves to the global economy are just getting started.
Many look at Europe’s current energy deficit as a kind of heroism, as the European Union has taken a huge economic hit in order to impose energy sanctions on the Kremlin – the one kind of sanction that could really cripple the Russian economy in the hopes of ending the war in Ukraine. “In the struggle to help Ukraine and resist Russian aggression, Europe has displayed unity, grit and a principled willingness to bear enormous costs,” the Economist recently reported.
Problem - Reaction - Solution. British Prime Minister and billionaire associate of the World Economic Forum Rishi Sunak is calling for draconian police powers to deal with "illegal protests," using the disruptive glue-happy traffic activism of groups like Just Stop Oil as a rationale.
To be sure, no one likes the fanaticism of Extinction Rebellion protesters, primarily because their movement is based on fear mongering over non-existent man-made global warming. People are not going to be inspired by activists gluing themselves to roads and blocking traffic over a temperature increase of less than 1 degree Celsius in a century. The problem is that the actions of these protesters are being exploited by government officials in order to con the public into supporting police powers that could be used against more legitimate freedom movements tomorrow.
The prime minister states: "My view is that those who break the law should feel the full force of it."
The suspected organizers of a coup in Germany contacted Russian representatives but failed to find support, the German federal prosecutor’s office said on Wednesday.
According to the prosecution, the suspects considered a coup as a necessary step towards "changing the system at all levels."
"To achieve their goal, the organization planned to form a (military) interim government, which, according to the organization’s members, was to agree on a new state order in Germany with the victorious powers of World War II," the prosecution noted, adding that "the organization currently views Russia as the main contact point for related talks."
"Defendant Heinrich XIII PR contacted Russian representatives in Germany but there are no signs showing that the contact persons positively responded to his request," the office noted.
Russia has inflamed regional tensions with Japan by deploying new missile defense systems in the disputed Kuril Islands, specifically a mobile coastal defense missiles system on a northernmost island in the chain.
"Coastal servicemen of the Pacific Fleet will keep a round-the-clock watch to control the adjacent water area and strait zones," the Russian defense ministry said in announcing the new missile placement on Tuesday.
Gold To Soar, Crush Western Banks When Putin Unveils Petrogold "Russia's decision to link gold to oil could bring gold back as a settlement medium and increase its intrinsic value sharply. Banks active in the paper gold market would face a liquidity shortfall
If you accept that the Covid “pandemic” was in fact a global psy-op, carried out by most of the governments of the world working in concert at the behest of supra-national financial, corporate and political interests, then it de facto follows that any apparent differences in approach or attitude between those co-operating governments serve a role in the narrative.
In short, someone has to play “the bad guy”.
In this case, China’s brutal “zero-Covid” approach allows the Western governments to claim the “moderate” label simply by virtue of not being so cartoonishly “evil” as China.
Of course, this works in both directions.
“The West” can say to their citizens, “look how brutal China’s lockdown was, we would never go that far, because we care about your rights”.
Meanwhile, China can say “look how lax and disorganized the West’s Covid response was, we would never be that careless, because we care about your health”.
It is – and here’s that phrase again – a fake binary.
