Thought for the day

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of a higher obligation…To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus, absurdly sacrificing the ends to the means." -- Thomas Jefferson, Letter to J.B. Colvin, September 20, 1780

Thanks to a reader, I was tipped off on an earlier pipeline explosion, this one arranged by the CIA during the Soviet era.

Thomas Reed, a senior US national security official, claims in his book “At The Abyss” that the United States allowed the USSR to steal pipeline control software from a Canadian company. This software included a Trojan Horse that caused a major explosion of the Trans-Siberian gas pipeline in June 1982. The Trojan ran during a pressure test on the pipeline but doubled the usual pressure, causing the explosion. (CIA Trojan Causes Siberian Gas Pipeline Explosion.)

This act of sabotage was kept hidden for decades.

Around Halloween 1982, an explosion occurred in the middle of Siberia, vaporizing a large segment of the newly-built trans-Siberian pipeline. The explosion –which was reported to be 1/7 the magnitude of the nuclear weapons dropped on Japan during WWII– severely damaged the pipeline, which was set to produce $8 Billion in petroleum revenue annually for the USSR. Only recently has this silently successful CIA operation been disclosed to the public.

Does this mean the CIA or associated intelligence/military organizations are responsible for the Nordstream explosions? No, but it does demonstrate they are capable and have a history of sabotaging Russian operations.

Recall the cognitively vapid one, pretending to be the “leader” of the “free world,” saying they’d put an end to Nordstream one way or another. He said this prior to Russia going into Ukraine to denazify it.

Fifty percent of young adults who get myocarditis from the Covid-19 vaccine will die within five years, according to former Eastern Ontario COVID Response Team member, Dr. Chris Alan Shoemaker.

In a recent episode of “The Ben Armstrong Show,” the host talked about the possible long-term consequences of the COVID-19 vaccine that people are yet to see happen. Based on Shoemaker’s data, around 95 percent of people in intensive care units are fully vaccinated – which makes sense as their immune systems are now damaged.

Shoemaker is a licensed physician with 45 years of experience and has worked in emergency medicine, family practice and on military bases. His works in direct patient care at the West Ottawa COVID Care Clinic and the Eastern Ontario Response Team to COVID-19, as well as his experience with the vaccines, have convinced him that the vaccine is more toxic than the virus. More toxic, more damaging and more lethal, especially in the long term as it damages the T-cells.

The German government has ordered 100 million doses of BA.1 and BA.4/5 bivalent vaccines at a cost of 2.5 billion Euros, and almost nobody wants them. An amusing Welt article chronicles the scenes unfolding at our deserted regional vaccination centres, which for some reason are still open:

Michael Hubmann did not expect that so few would come. Only 85 people had themselves vaccinated against Covid-19 on Thursday in Fürth in Middle Franconia, a district with 120,000 inhabitants. “We’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for people,” says Hubmann, a paediatrician who is coordinating the vaccination campaign. He explains that vaccinations were offered simultaneously in two shopping centres, a bus, a home for the elderly and in a former shop in the pedestrian zone. “Yet hardly anyone wanted to have the fourth dose.”

Of the 270 pages of FBI files which were the topic of several newspaper articles in early September, a substantial portion of the documents focus on the SCLC and its activities during 1967-1969. Dr. King in early 1967, had come out solidly in opposition to the U.S. occupation of Vietnam and described the war as an “enemy of the poor.”

King’s position on Vietnam coincided with a radicalization of the SCLC and other organizations such as the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE), the emergence of the Black Panther Party (BPP) and the Republic of New Africa (RNA), to name some of the most well-known groupings. In late July 1967, the city of Detroit erupted in a Black rebellion, the largest of such occurrences among all other municipalities during the period. New Bethel Church was located in the heart of the hardest hit areas of the rebellion, yet the building was unscathed by the violence.

A declassified FBI document from Atlanta, Georgia, dated August 1, 1967, noted that the SCLC was holding its annual convention in the city between the 14-17th of that month. This document reported that a weekly African American newspaper announced that “Carol Hoover (Special Fund-raising Officer, SCLC) is serving as coordinator of the convention. Sidney Poitier, popular actor, will be the featured speaker at the opening banquet August 14, 1967, and Aretha Franklin, popular entertainer, will also appear at the banquet.”

The Netherlands have been struggling with unexplained excess mortality for more than a year. Since the second half of 2021, over ten thousand more people have died than expected. In October 2021, the leader of Forum for Democracy, Thierry Baudet, was the first to draw attention to this topic, in parliamentary questions to the then Minister of Health, Hugo de Jonge. The minister directly attributed the excess mortality to COVID. This was incorrect, because the excess death waves did not coincide with the COVID waves at all. Moreover, the excess mortality often exceeded the number of COVID deaths in the same period – to say nothing of the fact that the definition of “COVID death” is, of course, highly controversial.

In December 2021, the House of Representatives ordered the government to conduct an independent investigation into the ongoing excess mortality. In addition to an investigation by Statistics Netherlands and the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), independent scientists were also supposed to be granted access to the data, via research financier ZonMW, in order to do their own research. However, that never happened.

An alarming letter obtained by FVD MP Gideon van Meijeren shows that independent scientists do not have access to the data they need. The letter comes from research financier ZonMW and is addressed to the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. The Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) as well as the Municipal Health Services (GGD) do not want to release the vaccination data and test results, hiding behind privacy rules as an excuse. But that argument does not hold water: the General Data Protection Regulation they rely on does not apply to deceased persons.

North Korea has launched a missile over Japan for the first time in five years, prompting Japanese officials to urge its residents to take shelter.

The missile was fired at 7:22 a.m. local time Tuesday and flew over Japan. Twenty-two minutes later, it landed in the Pacific Ocean, Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said, per The New York Times.

In a news briefing, per multiple outlets, Matsuno said, "North Korea's series of actions, including its repeated ballistic missile launches, threatens the peace and security of Japan, the region, and the international community, and poses a serious challenge to the entire international community, including Japan."

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida later said the missile launches were "barbaric," according to Reuters.

NY Joins Other States With This Ridiculous Move

New York is following the lead of California in banning the sale of all gas-powered cars and trucks by 2035.

Governor Hochul announced the move this week and said that by 2035 all vehicles sold in New York would be required to be electric.

Hochul will direct the State Department of Environmental Conservation to take regulatory measures necessary to ensure that all vehicle sales in the state will be electric vehicles by 2035.

The Governor claimed that the move would keep New York at the front of the pack as far as leading environmentalism into the future. She said that the state government’s actions would encourage consumers to make more pro-environmental choices and that these regulations would make New York a environmentally cleaner state overall.

Outrageous: Illegal Criminals Are Being Protected From Deportation By Soros-Backed DA

A District Attorney candidate backed by George Soros money is calling for the protection of migrants who have violated US immigration law.

Julie Gunnigle is the candidate’s name, and she is the Democratic nominee for District Attorney in Maricopa County, AZ. She says that she believes that immigrants who enter the country illegally should have their immigration status checked before being charged to prevent them from being deported back to their original country.

She says that when prosecutors make plea agreements with suspects, they are meant to do so with the context of justice as their foremost consideration. However, she doesn’t believe this is happening in many immigration cases. She questions if it might be possible to change how these agreements are done to keep more illegal migrants in the country even if they are charged with a crime.

A New York University professor has been fired after a group of students signed a petition against him suggesting his course was too difficult.

Maitland Jones Jr., 84, had 82 of his 350 organic chemistry students sign the petition citing Jones' teaching methods and course outline as reasons for their poor grades.

'We are very concerned about our scores, and find that they are not an accurate reflection of the time and effort put into this class,' the petition said, according to a New York Times report.

World War III Is Here!

Hegemon USA is at war on Russia.

So far, it’s largely by Ukrainian proxies, their Pentagon and CIA handlers.

It’s also by direct US involvement with its forces on the ground in Ukraine and occupied parts of Donetsk.

They’re operating HIMARS and other sophisticated weapons, ones shipped by the Pentagon and CIA to Kiev while instructing Ukrainian proxies on their use.

At no time since WW II ended was the ominous risk of another global war as likely as now, what may have already begun.

Of greatest concern is possible, maybe likely, use of nukes.

If occurs, the empire of lies will launch them preemptively.

India's Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) may have finally reached the end of its operations after eight years spent orbiting the Red Planet.

Ground stations operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) have lost communication with the spacecraft. The precise cause isn't yet clear; the orbiter may have run out of propellant, MOM's battery may drained beyond the safe operating limit, or an automated maneuver may have cut communications, according to media reports.

Having operated at Mars for eight years, MOM — also called Mangalyaan — has far exceeded its expected mission life of just six to 10 months. The craft was launched in November 2013 and entered orbit around Mars in September 2014.

Gas prices hit a record high in Los Angeles County of $6.466 per gallon on Monday morning, soaring past the previous record set during the nationwide price surge this past spring.

Local ABC affiliate KABC-7 reported:

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose seven-tenths of a cent to a record $6.466 Monday, topping the previous high of $6.462 set June 14.

The average price has risen 31 consecutive days, increasing $1.22, including 1 cent Sunday and 15.3 cents Thursday, the largest daily increase since the record 19.2-cent hike on Oct. 5, 2012, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The streak of increases follows a run of 78 decreases in 80 days totaling $1.216 that began June 15, one day after the average price rose to a record $6.462.

The Supreme Court on Monday rejected a lawsuit from gun rights groups to challenge a ban on bump stocks.

“The decision not to hear the two related cases, a blow for gun rights activists, leaves the ban in place. The conservative-majority court issued a major ruling in June that expanded gun rights, although the legal issues in the bump stock cases were different,” NBC News reported.

“The ban, implemented by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, went into effect in 2019 after the Supreme Court declined to block it. Since then, the already conservative court has tilted further to the right, with conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett, a Trump appointee, replacing liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died in 2020,” the outlet added.

Judicial Watch on Thursday announced a suit against the California secretary of state for allegedly pushing social media giant YouTube to censor a video on election integrity that the group published.

The suit alleges that the California Office of Elections Cybersecurity (OEC), which Secretary of State Shirley Weber oversees, caused YouTube to remove the video. Judicial Watch contends that, in so doing, the state violated the group's First Amendment rights.

 Judicial Watch suit against California

On Sept. 20, 2022 Judicial Watch posted a video featuring group President Tom Fitton discussing the vote-by-mail process and highlighting security risks and other complications in voting systems, the suit noted.

The video, titled "**ELECTION INTEGRITY CRISIS** Dirty Voter Rolls, Ballot Harvesting & Mail-in-Voting Risks!" was removed on Sept. 25, 2022.

The suit purports to reveal communications between OEC Social Media Coordinator Akilah Jones and Google/YouTube representative Andrea Holtermann in which the California state employee reports the Judicial Watch video and Holtermann confirms its removal from the platform.

The U.SGovernment Accountability Office conducted a study, requested by House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik and House Foreign Affairs Ranking Member Michael McCaul, which found that U.S. government agencies sent more than $28 million taxpayers dollars to Chinese entities for research and development between 2015 and 2021.

The study came after Stefanik, R-N.Y., and McCaul, R-Texas, in January 2021, requested the GAO undertake a study to assess the extent of funding provided across the U.S. government for research programs with entities in China or with entities controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

According to the report released last Thursday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Defense and the National Institutes of Health provided research funds "directly to Chinese entities."
