"Space science, like nuclear science and all technology, has no conscience of its own. Whether it will become a force for good or ill depends on man. And only if the United-States occupies a position of preeminence can we help decide whether this new ocean will be a sea of peace or a new terrifying theatre of war. I do not say that we should or will go unprotected against the hostile misuse of space, any more than we go unprotected against the hostile use of land or sea. We set sail on this new sea because there is new knowledge to be gained, and new rights to be won, ***and they must be won and used for the progress of all people." -- John F. Kennedy, speech at Rice University, 12 September 1962
Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has announced that she will not concede the race to Democrat Katie Hobbs.
In a video address on Thursday, Lake maintained that she is still in the fight.
This comes after the Associated Press called the race in favor of Hobbs on Monday.
The Trump-endorsed Republican said that this past week has confirmed everything she has been saying about the elections in Arizona.
“When we called for Katie Hobbs to recuse herself, they ridiculed us… turns out, we were right,” Lake stated. “The Fox was guarding the hen house and because of that, voters have been disenfranchised.”
Lake continued to explain that polling stations had problems with tabulating machines and printers on election day.
The Republican announced that she has assembled a great legal team to “right these wrongs.”
The Washington Post has published a piece post-midterm elections that once again clears former President Donald Trump’s name and reputation.
Reports for months prior to Election Day claimed that Trump might have been conducting nefarious business activities with classified documents he reportedly took with him after he left the White House in January 2021 and which formed the basis for the FBI’s unprecedented raid on his Mar-a-Lago home in early August.
On Monday, the Post reported that federal investigators “believe former president Donald Trump’s motive for allegedly taking and keeping classified documents was largely his ego and a desire to hold on to the materials as trophies or mementos.”
After leading the Democrats for the last two decades, the House Speaker announced Thursday that she will step down next year from her spot at the top of the party, closing a momentous run for the most powerful woman in U.S. history while clearing the way for a younger generation of up-and-coming lawmakers to climb into the leadership ranks.
The announcement, which came shortly after late midterm results had officially flipped House control to the Republicans, sent shockwaves across Capitol Hill, as lawmakers in both parties grappled with the thought of a Democratic House without Pelosi at the helm.
Yet the departure is only partial: Pelosi will cede her formal leadership seat, but remain in Congress indefinitely, where she’s aiming to assume a mentorship role and grease the transition for whichever new leader fills the mantle. Such a role would be unprecedented in modern memory — most leaders who step down quickly leave Congress — but Pelosi is not one to do things by the book.
Webmaster addition: With the House now being under Republican control, Nancy would not be able to remain Speaker.
An investor in the imploding cryptocurrency exchange FTX filed what could become a class-action lawsuit against the company, and the lawsuit names some of the cryptocurrency exchange’s celebrity backers, including football player Tom Brady, Brazilian supermodel Gissele Bundchen, basketball player Steph Curry and “Shark Tank” host Kevin O’Leary.
FTX investor Edwin Garrison filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against founder and former CEO of FTX Sam Bankman-Fried. In addition to Bankman-Fried, Garrison’s proposed class-action lawsuit goes after Brady, Curry and other high-profile celebrities who endorsed the crypto exchange, which is now bankrupt.
In addition to naming Curry, the lawsuit also names his entire NBA team, the Golden State Warriors, who advertised for FTX in their arena.
Other celebrities listed as defendants are former basketball player Shaquille O’Neal, current basketballers Udonis Haslem, football player William Trevor Lawrence, former baseball player David Ortiz, current baseball player Shohei Ohtani and Tennis player Naomi Osaka.
How is it always the same county experiencing massive election issues?
Maricopa County has almost become a synonym for election fraud in the dictionary and citizens, election judges, and journalists are all speaking out against the ‘irregularities’ that occurred there…
You know, like voting tabulators not accepting ballots—one of the usual Democrat manipulation techniques.
Katie Hobbs is being touted as the winner in Arizona’s Governor race; however, before the announcement a Kari Lake staffer made a special request to Governor Ducey’s office to conduct a special investigation into Maricopa County.
This was the scene at many polling places across Maricopa County:
This same scene played out tens of thousands of times all across Maricopa County. How many voters were disenfranchised or simply ran out of time? If the majority of ED voters were Democrats, this would be the number 1 news story in America still today. Total joke pic.twitter.com/noY1RRQv0Q
The liberal left wants people to think there is only one leader in the Republican Party.
They want people to think that former President Donald Trump is the only person that can lead the conservative movement. But the truth is that more than one person has emerged as a strong candidate to lead the Republican Party.
Tom Cotton is a senator from Arkansas who addressed the public to set the record straight. The hope that the Democrats have is that by vilifying Trump and making people think that he is all there is for the right, they will vote for a liberal instead.
All the documentary and photographic evidence examined in this study converges on a single and irrefutable conclusion: The story of the gassing and the cremation of the “Hungarian” jews at Birkenau has no foundation in history. It is a simple propaganda story invented and structured on the basis of the elements provided by the real but insignificant and sporadic cremation of registered detainees in the yard of Crematorium V.
The left-wing media is going crazy as the Supreme Court takes on an affirmative action case that the Left seems more than a little upset about.
They are not taking it well at all, and many people on the political Left are saying that they want race-based admissions to public universities to be the way forward.
There are currently two affirmative action cases before the Supreme Court. The rulings that come down from the court on this matter could have impacts on the way that college admissions are shaped for a long time to come. The conservative point of view is that all students should be considered for their merit to enter the college or university of their choice.
NATO’s reaction to the explosion on Polish territory near the border with Ukraine shows that member states can act with impunity, Washington-based Eurasia Center Executive Vice President Earl Rasmussen told Sputnik.
On Tuesday evening, Polish media reported that two missiles had fallen on the country’s territory, in the Lublin Voivodeship on the border with Ukraine. As a result of the incident, two people were reportedly killed. However, the Polish Foreign Ministry said that only one missile, allegedly Russian-made, had fallen on Poland’s territory.
At the time, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Warsaw had no accurate information about the origin of the missile, but the next day he stated it most likely belonged to Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry also said Russian forces had launched no strikes on targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border on Tuesday, and that the released photos of the missile’s debris indicated it was not Russian. According to Moscow, media reports of the alleged Russian origin of the missiles are a deliberate provocation aimed at escalating the situation around Ukraine.
“It does show that certain member states have specific privileges than others and can act with impunity. Hence, the reaction or non-action to the internal terrorist attack on the pipelines and most likely with any actions following this missile strike by Ukraine in Poland,” said Rasmussen, a retired Lieutenant Colonel with over 20 years in the US Army.
Rasmussen expressed his personal opinion, that despite accusations against Russia in this incident, the West knew about the origin of the missile.
A few days ago we asked how much longer do we have to wait for the "first-day affidavit" in the FTX bankruptcy, traditionally the most detailed and comprehensive summary of how any given company collapsed into Chapter 11 (and in FTX's case, Chapter 7 soon, as this will soon become a full-blown liquidation)...
Because how else would one describe it when FTX's new CEO and liquidator, John Ray III, who also oversaw the unwinding and liquidation of Enron, admits that "Never in my career have I seen such a complete failure of corporate controls and such a complete absence of trustworthy financial information as occurred here."
And just in case his shock at FTX's fraud of epic proportions was not quite clear enough, he adds that "from compromised systems integrity and faulty regulatory oversight abroad, to the concentration of control in the hands of a very small group of inexperienced, unsophisticated and potentially compromised individuals, this situation is unprecedented."
According to Ray, he has located “only a fraction” of the digital assets of the FTX Group that they hope recover during the Chapter 11 bankruptcy. They’ve so far secured about $740 million of cryptocurrency in offline cold wallets, a storage method designed to prevent hacks. This is just a fraction of the $10-$50 billion in liabilities the company disclosed in its bankruptcy filing.
How do we know it's a fraud: as Ray writes on page 24, although the investigation has only begun and must run its course, it is my view based on the information obtained to date, "that many of the employees of the FTX Group, including some of its senior executives, were not aware of the shortfalls or potential commingling of digital assets." Many maybe not, but some - and certainly SBF himself - did.
Just when you thought this freaking war on COVID unvaxxinated had ended, G20 leaders have just signed a declaration which states that vaccine passports will be adopted to “facilitate” all international travel…
This means any vaccination the WHO determines you should have. Changing your rights & freedoms forever.
Trump announced his 2024 presidential bid on Tuesday during a rally at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. If elected, he would become only the second US president to be elected to two nonconsecutive terms.
US Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI) is set to introduce legislation that would use the 14th Amendment to bar former President Donald Trump from running for office again.
Cicilline, who served as the impeachment manager during Trump’s first impeachment proceedings, sent a letter on Tuesday to Democratic lawmakers previewing his legislation. The move came shortly after Trump announced his third presidential campaign.
It is not known when the measure would be introduced to the House of Representatives; however, the letter did list Thursday as the deadline for other representatives to come on as co-sponsors.
Webmaster addition: I would not be surprised if the never-Trumpers tried outright assassination to get rid of Trump.
The IWK Health Centre is a major pediatric hospital and trauma center in Halifax, Nova Scotia that provides care to maritime youth, children and women from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and beyond.
They’ve seen 27 myocarditis cases in a 6 week period for kids under 18. Normally, they see 2 cases a year. So they are seeing an increase of 117X the normal rate.
I heard this from a hospital insider. Don’t expect them to publicly say anything. That’s just not the way it works nowadays.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is facing a class action lawsuit after colluding with Google to repeatedly auto-install contact-tracing spyware on the smartphones of over a million Massachusetts residents without their permission or consent.
According to a class action lawsuit filed by the New Civil Liberties Alliance, a nonpartisan nonprofit civil rights organization, the Department of Public Health rolled out the contact tracing app it worked with Google to create in April 2021.
The Republican Governor of Texas Greg Abbott has announced that his administration is celebrating a landmark as the 300th busload of migrants is now on its way to “woke” Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s “sanctuary city” of Chicago.
Gov. Abbott, who stormed to victory in his gubernatorial re-election this week, has brought national attention to the crisis at the Southern Border with his migrant busing strategy.
Abbott, along with other Republican border state governors, has been transporting illegal migrants to Democrat-run areas across the country.
“The 300th Texas bus of migrants just left for Chicago,” Abbott tweeted.
Republican Senator Mitt Romney wants to cut inflation by cutting Americans’ wages, including the wages earned by the GOP’s own voters.
Sen. Romney (R-UT) urged the cuts in a November 10 Wall Street Journal op-ed, where he echoed Goldman Sachs’ May demand for more migration to cut inflation by cutting wages:
Exit polls of voters confirmed that inflation remains a top voter concern. Midterm campaigns largely focused on assigning blame for rising prices. Now … Congress can actually help by increasing legal immigration [and] expanding the number of work visas in sectors that face worker shortages.
In May, Goldman Sachs argued that President Donald Trump’s 2020 migration cuts ensured that “the substantial gap between the number of workers and the number of jobs … has led to wage growth of 5 1/2% over the last year.”
The Biden administration is set to extend the COVID-19 public health emergency through at least next April.
The public health emergency, which was set to expire on Jan. 11, will remain in place through the first quarter of 2022 to allow the government more time to offload responsibility for COVID-19 vaccines, tests, antiviral treatment, and other COVID-19 pharmaceuticals to the private sector — all have been provided free by the government during the health emergency, a Biden administration official toldReuters.
Baldwin, who is awaiting a decision on whether he’ll face criminal charges in the shooting, accused the movie’s armorer and first assistant director, among others, of negligence in a cross-complaint following a lawsuit filed against him last year by script supervisor Mamie Mitchell.
Baldwin’s attorney, Luke Nikas, said the crew members did not maintain safety on the New Mexico film set.
Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., is urging his Republican colleagues to "do everything we can" to stop Democrats from passing amnesty for illegal immigrants -- after Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said their "ultimate goal" is to give citizenship pathways to at least 11 million illegal immigrants.
"Democrats were afraid to push amnesty ahead of the midterms because it’s wildly unpopular," Banks, the head of the Republican Study Committee, said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "But they calculated that amnesty will be old news by 2024, and they’re counting on the millions of new voters to return their favor."
With Republicans set to control the House in the next Congress, which begins in January, Democrats and immigration activists are attempting to make one last push for citizenship for illegal immigrants before they lose control of the chamber.
