Former Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu may scrape a narrow majority, initial election exit polls suggested Tuesday, after he was outmaneuvered following last year’s elections by current acting Prime Minister Yair Lapid.

Iran is planning an “imminent attack” on Saudi Arabia and an Iraqi city where American troops are based, prompting the US to heightened its military alert level, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, citing unnamed American and Saudi officials.
Saudi Arabia shared the information with US intelligence officials, which included details of a potential strike on Erbil, Iraq, according to the report.
Pentagon spokesman Air Force Brig Gen. Patrick Ryder declined to confirm the information Tuesday.
“I’m not gonna talk about specific force protection levels, [but] I can say that we do remain concerned about the threat situation in the region, whether in Iraq or elsewhere” he told reporters.
As many as two police officers have reportedly been shot by a suspect firing from an elevated position in an ongoing situation in Newark, New Jersey.
Law enforcement sources told NBC 4 New York that two officers were shot by a suspect armed with a long gun that they believe was firing from either a rooftop or a window. One officer was reportedly hit in the neck and the other was reportedly hit in the leg.
The law enforcement sources said no suspect is in custody at this time.
Freelance journalist Sotiri Dimpinoudis tweeted video from the area, showing numerous police vehicles on a street in Newark that had been taped off.
Webmaster addition: Another staged event to support the gun-grabbers?
The Santa Claus Post Office has chosen the special 2022 picture postmark for the upcoming holiday season.
Officials say on December 1, the post office will begin offering the picture postmark to cancel the postage stamps on holiday mail again this year. This special picture postmark has been offered every Christmas season since 1983. Each year, the holiday postmark is designed by a local high school art student as part of an annual contest, and this year’s artist is Macey Bolin.
Postmaster Cheryl Bailey says, “Patrons from all over the world request the Santa Claus holiday postmark. Some drive into town to personally hand cancel their holiday mail with the famous picture postmark and others request the special postmark by mail. The famous Santa Claus postmark is a long-standing tradition for the town and it’s always fun to see the unique artwork each year.”
Russia has once again accused the United Kingdom of 'directing and coordinating' explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipelines on the floor of the Baltic Sea in late September.
Three huge gas leaks, preceded by a series of explosions, occurred on the Baltic Sea's Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines on September 26. The blasts, according to Moscow, knocked out three of the four strings of the Nord Stream network off the coast of the Danish island of Bornholm.
Built to carry Russian gas to Germany, the 1,200-kilometer pipelines, operated by Russian gas giant Gazprom, are not currently in operation, but they both still contain gas under pressure.
The preliminary results of a Sweden-Denmark probe showed that the blasts had been "intentional sabotage." On October 29, Russia's Defense Ministry said that "British specialists" blew up the Nord Stream gas pipelines in a "terrorist attack," prompting London to reject the charges as an "invented story."
Ten Democrat-held congressional seats shifted in the Republicans favor according to Cook Political Report's House forecast, just one week before the 2022 midterm elections are set to take place.
As the midterms near, seats that were anticipated likely wins for the Democratic Party are now appearing vulnerable for Republican pickup following spikes in violent crime, rising prices of gas and consumer goods, concerns over education, and the ongoing crisis at the southern border.
In California's 9th Congressional District, where Rep. Josh Harder, D-Calif, currently leads, the race shifted from "Likely Democrat" to "Lean Democrat." The race is also considered "Lean Democrat" by the Fox News Power Rankings.
I was sitting here, and I felt my chair rock, and no, it’s not a rocker, it’s a Laz-Y-boy. Actually, I am in Michigan, and we don’t have earthquakes here, but I could feel something major happening over in Arizona, and trust me, it’s a doozy. I am sure I don’t need to tell you that the senate race in AZ is very tight. It just recently flipped from a “Dem leaning” to “toss-up,” so that’s amazing. But Mark Kelly will be tough to beat, that’s for sure, and that’s why the race between him and our America First guy Blake Masters is so darn tight.
And the last thing we needed in that already tight scenario, was a third-party libertarian candidate… but that’s what the folks in AZ were dealing with. Marc Victor, a good guy, was running as a Libertarian. But it was terrible timing and that could have been the final nail in Blake’s political coffin.
But all of that just changed, so that was the “earthquake” you likely felt… we no longer have to worry about a third-party candidate, but there’s even more good news… that third-party candidate just endorsed Blake Masters!
We’re back, baby!
Fox News reported that the Libertarian candidate in Arizona’s Senate race has dropped out and endorsed his Republican opponent.
"The View" host Joy Behar said Tuesday that crime wasn't "on the rise" in the U.S. and claimed that it was actually going down under President Biden, while discussing the attack on Paul Pelosi.
"I’d like to remind everybody it was the Democrats – not the Democrats who stormed the government that day and tried to kill the vice president, okay? And the Republicans now coming up to the next election, which is next week by the way, all they do is talk about crime, crime, crime. I looked it up, murders in major cities have fallen by 4% so far in 2022 compared with the same period a year ago, so crime is not on the rise it’s actually going down under Joe Biden," Behar said.
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said political violence was on the rise and said "shame on you" to those that have not condemned the attack on Pelosi.
One reason the associations are losing members may be due to union policies regarding in-person schooling during the COVID pandemic, says Ashley Varner, a spokesperson for the Freedom Foundation, a non-profit, anti-union group.
"Across the country, 'Zoom schools' gave parents a first-hand look at what propaganda was being forced on their children," she said.
Nancy Pelosi's former neighbor is questioning why a violent home invasion triggered no alarms – as security experts condemn the apparent ease with which David DePape broke in, and predict federal protections will be extended to her family. Residents of tony Broadway Street in San Francisco are used to fleets of black SUVs surrounding the Speaker's red brick mansion 24/7, a heavy police response to any disturbances, and even their computers getting scrambled by alleged security measures to protect the nation's Number Three. So when Marjorie Campbell read that her old neighbor had to call 911 himself while negotiating with a hammer-wielding madman, she was deeply perplexed.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken held a phone conversation with his Chinese counterpart Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday in which the latter chided Blinken to “stop trying to put up new obstacles to bilateral relations.”
The State Department readout of the call, published on Sunday (the call appears to have taken place on Monday Beijing time), does not mention anything that Wang said, instead focusing on Blinken, who allegedly “raised Russia’s war against Ukraine” and the “security situation in Haiti.” The Chinese Foreign Ministry and the government, through state propaganda outlet Global Times, offered much more specificity, depicting a frustrated Wang hectoring Blinken to urge the administration of left-wing President Joe Biden to stop trying “to contain and suppress China.”
Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), said she agrees with calls for a “pandemic amnesty” in which people need to forgive and forget the actions taken by public officials and commenters during the COVID pandemic.
If you can possibly believe the gall, those who shut down society, made parents and grandparents die alone, disastrously shut down the schools, and called you a murderer want to be absolved of all that by pleading ignorance.
The U.S. Supreme Court heard several hours of arguments on whether education institutions can consider race as one of many factors in determining student admissions, with both sides invoking concerns over discrimination and diversity.
The nation's highest court held oral arguments Monday in the cases of Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. University of North Carolina and Students for Fair Admissions Inc. v. President & Fellows of Harvard College.
At issue are race-based affirmative action policies for the two institutions, with SFFA arguing that these measures have led to discrimination against white and Asian students.
The academic institutions and their allies argued that the policies were necessary to help foster diverse campus communities, which would benefit minorities and the overall student body.
WASHINGTON (AP) — At least three Republicans running for the U.S. House attended the “Stop the Steal” rally on Jan. 6, 2021, and made their way toward the U.S. Capitol during the insurrection to stop Joe Biden’s election.
Countless other House Republican candidates are skeptics and deniers of the 2020 election lost by Donald Trump.
Russia’s deployment of MiG-31K armed with Kinzhal (NATO nomenclature: AS-24 KILLJOY) missiles to Belarus is drawing the attention of the West, according to a Twitter thread posted by the UK’s Ministry of Defense (MoD) this morning.
More than the missiles’ presence, the West appears rattled over the lack of secrecy on the part of Russia over the escalatory deployment.
The combination of MiG-31K and Kinzhal missile is the most potent conventional weapon system in Russia’s arsenal. The deployment puts all possible targets in Europe and the UK, even the most heavily defended ones, at risk.
One of the most bizarre details about the Paul Pelosi attack is that there is no security footage being released to the general public, and the left is trying to pretend that it is no big deal and that everyone should just move along.
Initial reports from several media outlets that covered the first moments after the weird attack claimed that Pelosi had no security camera systems working, which is of public concern, considering Pelosi is third in line to be President of the United States, especially in these troubling times.
One independent journalist discovered proof that Pelosi does, indeed, have security cams in her San Franciso home in 2021, where the alleged attack happened on her husband, Paul Pelosi.
Jack Posobiec from Human Events did some investigating from open source materials and found that he could debunk the corporate media storyline that Pelosi didn’t have any security in place to capture the most bizarre ‘attack’ that the American public has heard of this close to midterm elections:
Let me be clear, I don’t give a damn about what happened to Paul Pelosi. It’s not that I want harm to come to the guy, I don’t want harm to come to almost anyone, but if the left is going to use his attack to smear me and my side of the political aisle, why the hell would I care about the person being used to facilitate it? The whole thing has a Jussie Smollett feel to it, to be honest, where everything “reported” fits perfectly into what Democrats need it to be and the truth, as is always the case with these people, isn’t even a consideration.
The second the story was reported came word the alleged attacker was asking “Where’s Nancy?” Democrats in the media immediately seized on that to tie it to Jan. 6th, because everything is Jan. 6th to them. But how would they have heard he said “Where’s Nancy?” If there were only 2 people there – Paul and the attacker – which one told police or reporters he was walking around saying that? Was it the man arrested for the attack or the guy with the multiple skull fractures who needed emergency surgery?
Most likely it was neither. At some point after Nov. 8th asking questions will become semi-legal again and the truth will come out. We’ll likely learn that never happened. Maybe it was just a couple of Nigerian brothers paid by check to do it, who knows? Nancy Smollett anyone?
New York is the state many conservatives love to hate because of its stridently anti-Second Amendment laws and public policies (most recently, reflected in a new law undermining the recent U.S. Supreme Court’s Bruen decision that declared unconstitutional the state’s century-old Sullivan Law that made it next to impossible for a law-abiding citizen to obtain a concealed carry permit).
