Thought for the day
"It is incredible that this must be said, but the obvious seems to escape politicized academics, so we must state the obvious: Genocide is deliberate; it is premeditated. There is no genocide without premeditation. The murders are not unfortunate coincidences. This is why it is called "mass MURDER" and not "mass MANSLAUGHTER." -- A.E. Samaan
It's too early to say for sure what the new government will be in Italy. The right-wing coalition, while massively outperforming the left, does not have an outright majority. It's also a coalition of several parties, which is inherently unstable. Italian patriots have a right to be joyful, but let's not get too carried away.
However, for now, bask in the panic of the journalists, for the nationalist right has won.
Italy appeared to turn a page of European history on Sunday by electing a hard-right coalition led by Giorgia Meloni, whose long record of bashing the European Union, international bankers and migrants has sown concern about the nation’s reliability in the Western alliance.
Early projections based on a narrow sampling of precincts, as well as exit polls, on Sunday night suggested that Ms. Meloni, the leader of the nationalist Brothers of Italy, a party descended from the remnants of fascism, had led a right-wing coalition to a majority in Parliament, defeating a fractured left and a resurgent anti-establishment movement.
You know the drill by now.
Say her name, right?
Her name is Nancy Horton, an 80-year white grandmother brutally murdered by two black males in a home invasion.
One of the black males was a career criminal, the other is a juvenile.
The Federal Reserve is not conducting an anti-inflationary policy. It is conducting an anti-people policy.
The rising prices are not due to excessive consumer demand that needs to be curtailed by choking off credit. The rise in prices are the direct consequence of the idiot Biden regimes’ unnecessary Covid lockdowns and the idiot Biden regime’s Russian sanctions which have disrupted the globalism on which the Washington fools have based our economy. Putting people out of work cannot prevent higher prices due to supply constraints. The Federal Reserve is causing higher prices by further reducing supply.
If the Federal Reserve does not know this, the Federal Reserve is too incompetent to justify its existence and should be immediately abolished.
If the Federal Reserve does know this, then what is its real purpose?
Mario Presents from Gays Against Groomers is giving a 2 minute speech on the coalition stance against schools intent to teach transgender agenda to children under the age of 10.
Webmaster addition: Like I said on the radio show, working in Hollywood I got to know a lot of gay people and by and large they are just ordinary folks, wanting to do good work and care for their loved ones. It's the kooks giving the gays an unjust image and we should not judge all gays because of the groomers any more than we should judge all white people by the KKK, or the blacks by Black Lives Matter.
The “first touchpoint for asylum seekers” is what New York Mayor Eric Adams called the climate-controlled tents the city plans to provide shelter for foreign nationals bused from the border by Republican governors.
According to Just the News, Adams indicated the city would provide a litany of services and compared the border-crosser influx to immigrants arriving at Ellis Island over 100 years ago. Adams said, “Like the generations that came to our city before, New York will provide the thousands now coming to our city with the foundation to build a better life.”
New arrivals to the city will be dropped off at tent communities or directed there by the Port Authority. They will be given information regarding their legal rights, healthcare, and safety.
According to WISH-TV, a large tech company that employs more than 2,300 people will relocate its Indianapolis employees if they are concerned about abortion access.
Billionaire Marc Benioff, Time magazine owner and co-CEO of Salesforce, told CNN his role is to support his Salesforce employees, even if it means removing resources from conservative states unsupportive of equality and dignity.
“We are dealing with a whole series of crazy presidents, crazy governors, and crazy mayors all over the world in every country, every city, and every state. The number one thing I can do is let my employees know I’m here for them,” Benioff said, according to WISH-TV.
CNN’s Poppy Harlow pressed Benioff to elaborate on his accusations, “Who is crazy?”
Webmaster addition: "I mean, it costs a lot less to kill our employees' babies than to provide maternity support!"
On Friday, General Motors announced the company is investing significantly in a Toledo, Ohio, plant to manufacture electric vehicles.
ABC-13 reported GM Executive Vice President, Gerald Johnson, announced the investment of $760 million to the facility as it transitions to electric vehicle production.
The GM Toledo Propulsion Systems Facility will continue to work on internal combustion propulsion as it introduces EV propulsion and specifically manufactures EV drive units.
The head of Iraq’s Asaeb Ahl al-Haq resistance group, Qais al-Khazali, announced on 23 September that the Coordination Framework (CF) agreed to hold early elections in show of good faith to the movement led by cleric Moutada al-Sadr, a prominent rival of the CF.
“For the return of the Sadrist bloc’s deputies, there is no solution without early elections,” Khazali said, noting that “the CF is ready to respond to all the Sadrist movement logical demands and does not want to exclude the latter.”
Iraqis are still waiting for the country’s politicians to form a government since the anticipated parliamentary elections that took place last October, with political elites unable to find an agreement.
According to Khazali, the CF is open to solutions, did not carry out any provocation, and was objective and practical, stressing that “we are ready for the [Sadrist] movement to participate in the government as per the same number of Sadrist MP’s that have resigned.”
The U.S. Should not Bring Ukraine into NATO by Whatever Name – With war still raging between Russia and Ukraine, Kyiv is looking for future military allies. “We are working to ensure that the strongest subjects of the free world become guarantors of the security of our state,” declared Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky last week.
But that is just Kyiv’s interim goal. Andriy Yermak, head of the presidential office, urged the creation of what he called the Kyiv Security Compact until NATO membership is granted. He explained: “In order to successfully implement these tasks, Ukraine must get a guaranteed safety after the war. This means that we should receive reliable international security guarantees for the time period until Ukraine becomes a full member of the EU and NATO.”
Along with former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, fellow co-chair of the Working Group On International Security Guarantees for Ukraine, Yermak released a detailed plan to create the equivalent of NATO membership until the real deal was available. The report explained: “Ukraine’s aspiration to join NATO and benefit from its mutual defense arrangements is safeguarded in its Constitution. This aspiration is the sovereign decision of Ukraine. In the interim period Ukraine needs iron-clad security guarantees. These will come predominantly—though not exclusively—from NATO countries.”
Such global unity has never existed, except in the fevered hopes of U.S. officials. Biden neglected to mention that virtually all of the 40 countries contributing to Ukraine’s defense are NATO members or other U.S. allies and security dependents. Support elsewhere in the world for sanctions and other components of its policy against Moscow has been notable by its absence.
Barely one month into the Ukraine war, Hudson Institute scholar Walter Russell Mead noted Washington’s lack of success in broadening the anti-Russia coalition beyond the network of traditional U.S. allies.
As Israel was launching a deadly assault on Gaza, killing thousands of civilians and displacing more than 100,000 people, many of America’s top TV, music and film producers were organizing to protect the apartheid state’s reputation from widespread international condemnation.
Together, the Sony Archive – a cache of emails published by Wikileaks – prove that influential entertainment magnates attempted to whitewash Israeli crimes and present the situation as defending itself from an impending “genocide”, liaised with Israeli military and government officials in order to coordinate their message, attempted to cancel those who spoke out against the injustice, and put financial and social pressure on institutions who hosted artists criticizing the apartheid government’s actions.
AS ISRAEL ATTACKS, HOLLYWOOD PLAYS DEFENSE
“[Israel’s message] Must be repeated ad infinitum until the people get it,” wrote Hollywood lawyer and producer Glenn D. Feig, in an email chain to many of Tinsel Town’s most influential executives. This was in response to the unprovoked 2014 Israeli attack on Gaza, one of the bloodiest chapters in over half a century of occupation.
Named “Operation Protective Edge”, the Israeli military engaged in seven weeks of near-constant bombing of the densely populated coastal strip. According to the United Nations, over 2,000 people were killed – a quarter of them children. 18,000 houses were destroyed, leaving more than 100,000 people homeless.
The Israeli military deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure, knocking out Gaza’s only power plant and shutting down its water treatment plants, leading to economic, social and ecological devastation in an area Human Rights Watch has labeled the world’s largest “open air prison”.
This was awkward…
Joe Biden’s former Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Sunday appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” to discuss the upcoming midterm elections.
A fugitive defense contractor nicknamed “Fat Leonard” who claims to have incriminating sex photos of U.S. Navy brass could become the latest bargaining chip in Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s efforts to win official recognition from the Biden administration, according to experts.
But it’s unclear how hard the U.S. government will fight for the return of Leonard Glenn Francis, the Malaysian owner of a ship servicing company in Southeast Asia who is the central character in one of the largest bribery scandals in Pentagon history.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he is “in shock” at Israel’s failure to give Kyiv anti-missile systems to help counter Russian attacks.
The president has been asking for the weapons since shortly after the war started in February. Zelenskyy mentioned Israel’s Iron Dome system, often used to intercept rockets fired by Palestinian fighters in Gaza.
On July 12, 2006, Hezbollah took three Israeli soldiers hostage, hoping to trade their release for that of Palestinian and Lebanese prisoners. Instead, Israel launched a massive military operation aimed at neutralizing Hezbollah. The result of the war was massive devastation of Southern Lebanon, over 1,100 Lebanese killed (the overwhelming majority of them civilians), 119 Israeli soldiers and 43 Israeli civilians killed, over 1 million displaced Lebanese, some 300-500,000 Israelis fleeing the north of the country, and Isarel furious over its unexpectedly massive losses and Hezbollah’s emerging from the conflict intact and with an enormous boost in its popularity throughout the Middle East for having withstood Israel’s massive attack.
Germany had stalled the launch of the ambitious energy project for months before putting it on the back burner in the wake of Russia's military operation in Ukraine, which is now in its eighth month.
The gas pipeline made landfall in the German port city of Lubmin in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
With the cold winter approaching, the demonstrators demanded Lubmin officials turn the taps on the Nord Steam 2 natural gas link to Russia.
“So that our homeland has a future, finally open Nord Stream 2,” demonstrators chanted at the protest rally, as reported by German media.
In related news, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz signed a new energy deal with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday to compensate for significant cuts in Russian supplies.
Scholz told reporters in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, that the German government was determined to avoid energy dependence on Russia, and to achieve this Berlin had drafted plans for "a whole series of projects here in terms of the production and purchase of diesel and gas."
During a speech at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, the UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation, Reem al-Hashemi, renewed her country’s call for Iran to give up its claim to the three Persian Gulf islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa.
“We renew our demand [for an end to] Iran’s occupation of the three Emirati islands: The Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa, over which history and international law prove the sovereignty of my country,” al-Hashemi said in New York on 24 September.
The UAE “will never stop claiming [its] legitimate right to these islands, either through direct negotiation or the International Court of Justice,” she went on to say, adding that despite “the UAE’s sincere calls to peacefully resolve this conflict over the past five decades, we stress here that Iran has not responded.”
The islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa, all located in the Persian Gulf, have been the center of a longstanding dispute between Iran and the UAE.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of the UAE, Khalifa Shaheen al-Marar, and other Emirati officials, have continuously referred to Iran’s presence on the islands as an “occupation.”
On Thursday, after Russian President Vladimir Putin called up 300,000 reservists and warned that he was prepared to use nuclear weapons in case of a NATO attack on Russia, European Union (EU) officials recklessly pledged to continue escalating the conflict. They announced new sanctions on Russia, which will further raise food and energy prices that are devastating workers’ budgets, and continued arms deliveries to Ukraine.
“We decided to bring forward as soon as possible additional restrictive measures against Russia in coordination with partners,” EU Foreign Policy chief Josep Borrell said after a meeting of EU foreign ministers at the UN General Assembly meeting in New York. The EU “will study, we will adopt new restrictive measures, both personal and sectoral” targeting Russian industries, he added.
Borrell admitted that Putin’s warnings that he would use “all weapons systems available to us” to defend Russian territory from NATO attack are genuine. The threat of nuclear war, Borrell said, “is a real danger to the whole world, and the international community must react.” However, Borrell made clear that the EU plans to accelerate delivery of billions of euros in weapons to the far-right Ukrainian regime, which has repeatedly attacked Russian-speaking areas of the country.
Putin’s “references to nuclear weapons do not shake our determination, resolve and unity to stand by Ukraine,” Borrell said.
The reckless and utterly irresponsible statements of Borrell, echoed by other EU officials, are leading Europe and the world straight to nuclear war.
Local residents describe the perpetrators of these crimes—who have received lavish U.S. funding—as “shameless,” “scumbags” and “terrorists.”
Heroic rescue workers in Donbas should be accorded rights under international law to help people without being targeted
In the more than eight years of bombing the civilians of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, Ukraine has committed untold numbers of war crimes. These include bombing residential areas, markets, hospitals, schools, parks—including with prohibited heavy weapons and banned cluster munitions—and, since late July, raining banned “Petal” mines down on populated civilian areas, including the very center of Donetsk, including as recently as September 7.
A lesser-known war crime is Ukraine’s routine targeting of ambulances, fire trucks, medics and rescuers, and their headquarters and stations. Many of the times Ukraine bombs such heroic rescuers, it is when they are on the way, or already on site, to help civilians often themselves just bombed by Ukraine.
On August 21, Ukrainian shelling of the DPR’s Gorlovka wounded twelve, including five firefighters.
The day prior, Ukrainian shelling targeted an ambulance station in the LPR’s Lysychansk, wounding several and damaging some of the ambulances.
In his classic nineteenth century novel ‘War and Peace’ Russian writer Leo Tolstoy observed that “the strongest of all warriors are…time and patience.”
I was reminded of these words recently when coming across an article in the Dutch newspaper NRC which called for the drug industry to be abolished.
The article echoed words from a quarter of a century ago, contained in a speech given in the city hall of Chemnitz in Germany, in which physician and scientist Dr. Matthias Rath called for the pharma business to be outlawed.
Explaining how its profits depend upon the maintaining and expanding of health problems on a global scale, Dr. Rath accused the ‘business with disease’ of being incompatible with the fundamental principles of human rights.
Back in 1997, this type of open criticism of the drug industry and its unscrupulous business model was almost unheard of. Today, however, with the passage of time, the publication of the NRC article illustrates that it is becoming mainstream.
Authored by Dutch political scientist Joost Smiers, the NRC article describes how society is now at the mercy of the pharma business and its shareholders. “As far as I am concerned,” Smiers writes, “it is high time to break the societal feeling of powerless towards Big Pharma.”
Asking whether we still need drug companies, Smiers says that in his opinion the answer is “no.” Clearly, when such thoughts are published in a mainstream European daily newspaper, there can be no doubt that we are living in changing times.
Under Public Law 117-128, the U.S. Congress is funding an organization called Ukrainian Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD), whose professed purpose, according to its website, is to “counter Russian disinformation.” But its real purpose may be to create the equivalent of a “fatwah list” of alleged traitors whom patriotic Americans and/or Ukrainians will feel they have a green light to assassinate.
The fatwah list includes such “traitors” as writers Chris Hedges and Glenn Greenwald, political scientist John Mearsheimer, Pink Floyd singer Roger Waters, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), former presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, conservative military analyst Edward Luttwak who was placed on the list for suggesting that referendums should be held in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions concerning their relations to Ukraine, and Henry Kissinger, who is worried about the prospects of a war between the U.S. and Russia.
The profiles of many people targeted under the “hit list” has been posted on a website, Myrotvorets (meaning “peacemaker” in Ukrainian), whose domain name is listed as being in Langley, Virginia, headquarters of the CIA.
After author and women’s health journalist Dr. Naomi Wolf was de-platformed and attacked on Twitter, discovery granted in two freedom of speech lawsuits revealed that the CDC had colluded with social media to censor her.
In this episode, Senator Josh Hawley exposes how the Big Tech/Government censorship machine works via grilling Facebook executive Christopher Cox, Dr. Wolf explains what happened to her, and Dr. Paul Alexander explains why Dr. Wolf is such a threat to the machine that shut her down.
A protest in Tehran last week over the death while in police custody of Mahsa Amini.Wana News Agency/Via Reuters
Few independent journalists are working inside Iran today. But videos, emails and other information coming from inside the country suggest that Iran is experiencing its most significant protests in more than a decade.
The demonstrations began after a 22-year-old, Mahsa Amini, died in police custody on Sept. 16, having been arrested for violating Iran’s law requiring women to wear head scarves fully hiding their hair. This weekend, the protests spread to at least 80 cities, and demonstrators briefly seized control of a city in northwestern Iran. In response, the country’s security forces have opened fire on crowds.
In today’s newsletter, I’ll try to help you make sense of what’s going on.
It is definitely not normal for so many mainly young athletes to suffer from cardiac arrests or to die while playing their sport, but this year it is happening. Many of these heart issues and deaths come shortly after they got a COVID vaccine. While it is possible this can happen to people who did not get a COVID vaccine, the sheer numbers clearly point to the only obvious cause.
Important Notes: The number of dead are included in the total number. There are also dozens of reports that are not included in the total number shown in the headline because they are not or may not be vaccine-related.
The so-called health professionals running the COVID vaccine programs around the world keep repeating that “the COVID vaccine is a normal vaccine and it is safe and effective.”
Investigative journalists Kevin Moncla and David Cross have filed an official complaint with the Georgia State Board of Elections.
Their allegations are very serious: they have evidence that Georgia’s elections have not been legal or valid since 2017 because its electronic voting systems were last certified for use in 2017.
A company called Pro V&V — which was hired to do voting machine certification — apparently last performed the required testing on Georgia’s Dominion Democracy Suite 5.5A(G) system on August 7, 2019.
Even worse, Pro V&V’s own accreditation for that system apparently expired in February, 2017 — though it was allowed to continue testing.
Marnette Gordon was doing laundry at home in Minneapolis one summer morning last year when a call came from her 36-year-old son.
She figured her son, Telly Blair, was checking in to see if she wanted a soda from a gas station down the street, where he often went for fuel and snacks.
“Mom, I’ve been shot,” he said. “Call the police!”
Marnette, her other son Tamarcus and his 12-year-old daughter rushed to the gas station from their home in the city’s north side, a part of town long beset by violent crime.
Blair’s family came upon his blue 1986 Chevy Caprice at pump No. 5 — beating police and paramedics by a few minutes, they said — only to find him slumped in his car, bleeding from multiple bullet wounds in his chest. A 17-year-old male in an orange hoodie had fired nine rounds from a handgun into Blair’s car before running off.
While an off-duty nurse in scrubs who’d been at the gas station tried to stop his bleeding, Marnette — a heart-transplant recipient — couldn’t bear to watch and stood at a distance. Telly was her caretaker.
A NASA spacecraft will deliberately slam into an asteroid today to determine if this kind of mission can help deflect space objects posing a threat to Earth. The NASA Double Asteroid Redirection Test – or DART– aims to make history today at 7:14 p.m. ET when it makes impact with the asteroid. The DART spacecraft is about the size of a school bus and has been traveling to reach its target since launching in November 2021. The spacecraft is also carrying an imager that will share a live stream of photos as it nears the asteroid, providing a video-like experience for viewers. A live broadcast will kick off on NASA’s website beginning at 6 p.m. ET today, and it will last until 7:30 p.m. ET. Then, the space agency will hold a post-event briefing to discuss what happened.
Giorgi Meloni’s election has changed the European Union adding strength to the challenges from Viktor Orban in Hungary and the new far right government in Sweden. Her victory can help Putin bring down NATO hegemony and stop sanctions. It could even force an early end to the war in Ukraine. And it might provide an interesting wrinkle in the plan within BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) to offer Debt Cancellation to the Global South. It is very likely some European nations using neither the euro nor the pound could benefit from this proposal to refuse to repay loans denominated in dollars, pounds, euros and yen.
Serbia and Croatia have an oil pipeline that is reeling from EU sanctions.
Suppose Meloni decides to take advantage of Putin’s discount oil for gold policy and her neighbors across the Adriatic join her. Hungary is landlocked but borders Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia. The latter also borders Italy. She could break the EU sanctions and boost her economy. Her people will have electricity, heat, hot showers and relatively cheap energy. Tourism to Italy and the Adriatic will skyrocket from Europeans seeking relief from anti-Putin imposed austerity. Northern Italian industrialists will benefit from the cheap energy and will have a huge competitive advantage against manufacturers in France and Germany.
Italians voted in parliamentary elections yesterday. The exit polls released by the national broadcaster Rai indicate that the Brothers of Italy party led by Giorgia Meloni won the clear majority (22.5%-26.5% of the vote). Meloni is set to become Italy's next prime minister and form the new cabinet. Meloni's populist leanings are almost identical to those of Hungary's Viktor Orban who has been a major thorn in the Eurocrats' side. She is also seen by many as too friendly to Russia's Vladimir Putin – or at least not sufficiently hostile. As far as the European Commission's (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen is concerned, the Italians voted wrong.
Just before the elections she said, "We will see the result of the vote in Italy. If things go in a difficult direction – and I've spoken about Hungary and Poland – we have the tools." The tools Von der Leyen was referring to is the EC's ability to cut funding to member states that defy the "rule of law," as defined by the Eurocrats. But where von der Leyen's remarks reflect EC’s fear of the rising populism in Europe, they only further inflamed popular resentment against Brussels.
European Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen threatened Italy last week before their national elections. Von der Leyen warned Italian voters that the European Union has ways to deal with rogue states that represent their people and ignore the globalist agenda.
The regime will not allow dissent.
