"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- Thomas Jefferson
Both the US and Russia are testing nationwide emergency alert emergency public warning systems today.

Pfizer told an Australian Senate hearing that "Nobody was forced to have the vaccine", does that statement hold up to the reality faced by millions of people in Australia?
Let's take a look at what "nobody was forced" really looked like.
Apple released emergency security updates to patch a new zero-day security flaw exploited in attacks targeting iPhone and iPad users.
"Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited against versions of iOS before iOS 16.6," the company said in an advisory issued on Wednesday.
We’re becoming a nation of criminals.
According to a New York Post report, Tennessean and father of three Christopher Wright was shot and killed last week while on his way to attend his high school reunion.
Wright was murdered by career criminal Darryl “Too Tall” Jones who has 66 prior arrests.
From The New York Post:
Surveillance of the incident shows Wright, a father of three, including an 8-week-old baby, talking to Roberts, 57, and another man before walking away.
Wright then turns around to say something to the two men, with Roberts reacting by walking up to him and firing his gun at Wright’s head, police said.
Wright was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died.
Robert quickly fled, but was captured by police the following day in a coordinated search with the US Marshals Service and the ATF.
Officials in the city and county of Denver, Colorado, asked Texas border towns to distribute flyers aimed at discouraging migrants from traveling to the Mile High Sanctuary City after crossing the border from Mexico. Denver officials asked the border communities to distribute flyers saying the city is out of resources to take care of migrants and that low-cost housing is unavailable.
Matthey Mueller, the executive director for the Office of Emergency Management for the City and County of Denver, sent an email to officials in Texas communities of Brownsville, El Paso, Houston, and Dallas advising that they “can no longer provide the same level of sheltering resources to newly arriving persons in Denver.” Mueller said his office is reducing the maximum length of stay for migrants arriving as of October 4, according to documents provided to Breitbart Texas by Texas officials.
The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump's army of MAGA followers.
The challenge for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the primary federal agency charged with law enforcement, is to pursue and prevent what it calls domestic terrorism without direct reference to political parties or affiliations—even though the vast majority of its current "anti-government" investigations are of Trump supporters, according to classified data obtained by Newsweek.
"The FBI is in an almost impossible position," says a current FBI official, who requested anonymity to discuss highly sensitive internal matters. The official said that the FBI is intent on stopping domestic terrorism and any repeat of the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. But the Bureau must also preserve the Constitutional right of all Americans to campaign, speak freely and protest the government. By focusing on former president Trump and his MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters, the official said, the Bureau runs the risk of provoking the very anti-government activists that the terrorism agencies hope to counter.
The presiding judge in the New York real estate trial of President Donald Trump once boasted he could change verdicts if he believed the jury got “it wrong.”
In a newly unearthed video now circulating on X, the New York District Judge Arthur Engoron is seen telling a college audience he has seen juries frequently reach conclusions he disagreed with.
“I’ve had situations where I’m like, oh my… heaven’s sake, how could they have thought that?” Engoron says in the video.
“Well, I have a tool that I can deal with that,” said.
“It’s called… judgment notwithstanding the verdict.”
“I can say there is no possible way that a reasonable jury would have reached that conclusion,” the Trump judge explained, suggesting he has the power to disregard a verdicts from the jury when he wishes.
A sheriff in Michigan is sounding the alarm over a rise in gangs of illegal aliens getting into the United States for the sole purpose of burglarizing Americans.
Oakland County, Michigan Sheriff Michael Bouchard, as well as other law enforcement agencies across the U.S., is warning that illegal aliens from the southern border are burglarizing members of their communities at an increasing rate.
“These are transnational gangs that are involved in this that come from South America, looking to do burglaries and violate our communities, not just in Oakland County but across America,” Bouchard said.
In particular, Bouchard said the gangs of illegal aliens “are going after jewelry, high-end purses and watches, currency and safes.”
“They sell these things for 20 to 30 cents on the dollar to fences, who then re-sell this in a variety of ways. They typically hit homes from 5 to 9 p.m., they seem to want houses where nobody’s home and they usually come in through windows in the back,” he continued.
Deep blue states, Bouchard said, that have eliminated bail for criminal suspects have made the matter even worse.
The Disney Grooming Syndicate lost even more money on its woke Little Mermaid remake than had been reported.
Previous budget reports said the movie cost $250 million to produce. The actual budget, per this report at Forbes, was $300 million, which does not include promotion costs.
The only reason we know the truth is because Disney wanted tax credits from the United Kingdom, where much of the movie was filmed, and the UK doesn’t put up with bookkeeping shenanigans the way we do here in America.
In the U.S., studios can and do lie about budgets all day long. First, they lie about the movie costing less than it actually did so it looks like a hit. Then the studios lie about it costing more than it actually did so they don’t have to pay out that backend money.
So, to try and make The Little Mermaid look like it might have actually made a profit, the number of $250 million leaked out somehow. Nope. More like $300 million, and it seems benevolent on my part to add only $100 million to the budget for promotion, which would make the total budget $400 million.
Unfortunately for the Disney groomers, The Little Mermaid flamed out at the worldwide box office with an anemic $567 million haul. When you’ve spent $400 million on a movie that grosses $567 million from a box office where about 50 percent of that $567 million stays with exhibitors, you are looking at a serious loss.
Good job adding a drag queen to a children’s movie, scumbags.
Forbes notes that Americans spend a whopping $20 billion per year on security to protect their houses from property crimes such as burglary, breaking, and home invasion. Still, many wise culprits end up successfully stealing what’s not theirs.
And while most of us feel that we are on top of home security, some means won’t cut the pesky bad guys out. Luckily, former burglars reveal the secret to stopping these crimes from happening and some of us may be surprised by how simple these tips are!
While the general public is well aware of allegations against the Biden family involving international influence-peddling schemes, bribes from Ukrainian oligarchs, and attempts to write off prostitutes on tax returns, major facets of the first family's sphere of wealth and influence have gone largely unreported.
According to a wide-ranging new book by Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow, who collaborated with researchers from investigative journalist Peter Schweizer's multiple books (perhaps most notably, "Clinton Cash"), the Biden family has a second, virtually unknown institute. And much like the widely-reported Penn-Biden Center at the University of Pennsylvania, the Biden Institute at the University of Delaware - established on the same day as UPenn's, resulted in a flood of Chinese money into said institutions.
"The key players at the University of Delaware’s Biden Institute were either Biden family members, people with deep ties to China, or both," writes Marlow.
Modeled after the Clinton Global Initiative, the University of Delaware Biden Institute was referred to as Hunter's "baby" by his aunt and former Joe Biden campaign manager, Valerie Owens (who now chairs the Biden Institute).
On December 11, 2018, the University of Delaware announced that it was naming its public policy school after Vice President Biden. Emails show that this move was orchestrated by members of UD’s Biden Institute. It was on the day of the announcement that Hunter Biden received a text message from his aunt and former Joe Biden campaign manager, Valerie Owens (who chairs the Biden Institute), crediting him for the deepening partnership with between the Biden family and the university: “Bravo Hunter—UD was your baby and you made sure I was part of it.”
The University of Delaware Biden Institute was Hunter’s “baby.” And this was the type of baby the family most certainly was not going to ignore. -Breitbart
What's more, the UD Biden Institute became home to at least 12 future Biden administration appointees, including soon-to-be senior Biden advisor Mike Donilon and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, while UD President Dennis Assanis would be named to Biden's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
But perhaps most intriguing is that soon after forging its partnership with the Bidens, the University of Delaware (UD) disclosed receiving funds from China.
The New York Times has published another CIA press release disguised as news, this time aimed at whipping up paranoia toward anyone who criticizes the US proxy war in Ukraine.
The article is titled “Putin’s Next Target: U.S. Support for Ukraine, Officials Say”. Its author, Julian E Barnes, has written so many New York Times articles with headlines ending in the words “Officials Say” that we can safely assume the primary reason for his continued employment in that paper is because empire managers within the US government have designated him someone who can be trusted to print what they want printed. This designation would make him a reliable supplier of “scoops” (read: regurgitations of unevidenced government claims) for The New York Times.
“American officials said they are convinced that Mr. Putin intends to try to end U.S. and European support for Ukraine by using his spy agencies to push propaganda supporting pro-Russian political parties and by stoking conspiracy theories with new technologies,” Barnes writes.
Of course the report never gets any more specific than that, and of course the “American officials” Barnes cites promote their unevidenced assertions under cover of complete anonymity.
