Accompanying the horrifying news today that a mass shooting took place at a Christian elementary school near Nashville, Tenn. was the bizarre background information about the alleged assailant.  A troubled young woman has been blamed for the killing of three adults and three children, and she identified herself as a transgender person, according to online profiles she left behind.

Audrey Elizabeth Hale, age 28, had once been a student at Covenant Presbyterian Church's school, which she returned to yesterday to gun down others.  Her motives for slaughtering six innocent people aren't clear, but it's obvious to anyone that she suffered from one or more mental illnesses.  Whether or not we find out what inner demons drove her to her fatal actions today, we know that her foray into transgenderism should've prompted those who knew her to seek competent psychological counseling.

File this under "Democrats are garbage people." But when you look at the media reaction to the transgender Nashville shooter, no one should be surprised. Though for funsies, imagine the media reaction if a Kari Lake spokeswoman tweeted something similar if the shooter was Christian.

Because hours after a transgender shooter who goes by he/him pronouns shot up a Christian school and murdered Christian nine-year-olds, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs' press secretary Josselyn Berry tweeted this.

The US Army is to print a deck of playing cards featuring NATO weapons systems and will send them to states outside of the US-led bloc, including Ukraine, The New York Times reported on Tuesday. The cards will supposedly help Ukrainian troops “to tell friends from foes.”

The training tool was developed by the Army’s Training and Doctrine Command and will enable soldiers to quickly “identify enemy equipment and distinguish the equipment from friendly forces,” according to its spokesman, Maj. Andrew Harshbarger. It features information about “NATO equipment that has proliferated to non-NATO countries.”

"We've said it before and we’ll say it again today that if coming out of this meeting, there’s some sort of call for a ceasefire, well, that’s just going to be unacceptable," US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said on FOX News Sunday referring to the meeting in Moscow between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The truth is that an off-ramp from armed conflict has never really proven to be a desired outcome for Washington. This is understandable when the US establishment elites seem to have more to gain than to lose from continued conflict in Ukraine. “The Ukrainians have proven that they are a really good investment for the United States,” former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said last December. “They are not asking us to be there to fight their war; they’re fighting it themselves.” But it’s the US establishment that reaps the benefits of billions of dollars of US taxpayer cash poured into the military-industrial complex under the guise of defense spending for Ukraine. 

There’s also the added bonus of having the entire European Union now more dependent on US energy, and its businesses bailing to the US in the wake of Brussels cutting itself off from the cheap Russian energy, on which the continent’s economy was built.

Elon Musk has taken fellow billionaire Bill Gates to task for his “limited” understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), suggesting he has a poor grasp of the emerging technology. Musk was responding to a comment by that Microsoft founder that he has been involved in the AI field for years.

Musk took a shot at Gates in a social media post on Monday, after another user shared a recent article penned by the Microsoft mogul, in which he states he has held several meetings with the team from OpenAI – a tech company co-founded by Musk – beginning in 2016.

Key figures in artificial intelligence want training of powerful AI systems to be suspended amid fears of a threat to humanity.

They have signed an open letter warning of potential risks, and say the race to develop AI systems is out of control.

Twitter chief Elon Musk is among those who want training of AIs above a certain capacity to be halted for at least six months.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and some researchers at DeepMind also signed.

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, recently released GPT-4 - a state-of-the-art technology, which has impressed observers with its ability to do tasks such as answering questions about objects in images.

The letter, from Future of Life Institute and signed by the luminaries, wants development to be halted temporarily at that level, warning in their letter of the risks future, more advanced systems might pose.

An activist group has accused a Hollywood actress of claiming she has a Cherokee heritage when she does not.

The New York Post reported that Tribal Alliance Against Frauds (TAAF), an activist group, has targeted Heather Rae for saying, “my mom was Indian, and my father was a cowboy.”.

The director of the activist group, Lianna Constantino, said, “Being an American Indian person is not just about who you claim to be it’s about who claims you. And it’s much more than just race. We are citizens of sovereign nations. Being an Indian is a legal, political distinction.”

Rae, an award-winning actress, is a leading Native American in Hollywood and married to producer Russell Friedenberg. She serves on the Indigenous Alliance of the Academy of Motion Pictures and previously was part of the Native American Program at the Sundance Institute.

Although news reports have said the 56-year-old has a Cherokee mother, TAAF says she is profiting from making false claims regarding her heritage. According to The Post, activists say Rae is just 1/2048th Cherokee at best.

A TAROM Boeing 737-800, registration YR-BGK performing flight RO-7673 from Timisoara (Romania) to Hurghada (Egypt) with 184 passengers on board, was enroute at FL370 about 150nm south of Bucharest in Bulgarian Airspace when the first officer reported the captain had become incapacitated and they needed to turn around and divert to Bucharest. The aircraft landed safely on Bucharest’s runway 26R about 80 minutes after departure. (click here)

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 90 minutes, then departed again.

The airline reported the “medical emergency of one of the members of the command crew” prompted the crew to divert to Bucharest.

According to media reports in Bulgaria the captain (30 years of age) complained about chest pain and increased heart rate, then fell unconscious. The captain is on his way to recovery.

Historian Arnold Toynbee observed “an autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.”

It’s hard not to think about this reading the results of the latest Wall Street Journal-NORC poll, appearing under the headline “America Pulls Back From Values That Once Defined It.”

Only 38% of Americans now say patriotism is “very important,” compared to 70% in 1998. Thirty-nine percent say religion is “very important,” compared to 62% in 1998. And 30% say having children is “very important,” compared to 59% in 1998.

The results that follow from these attitudes are not surprising.

Marriage rates are way down. Birthrates are way down.

In 1990, 67% of American adults between the ages of 25-54 were married. This was down to 51% in 2021.

In 2020, there were 56 births in the U.S. for every 1,000 women ages 15-44. In 1990, there were 70.9.

And, among the births we do have, in 2021, 40% of our babies were born to unmarried mothers.

A revolutionary new blood test that promises to detect cancer up to a year before tumors form has been successfully trialed at U.K. hospitals, heralding a major breakthrough in cancer detection.

Developed by Indian firm Epigeneres Biotech in 2021, the “first pan-cancer blood test” predicted the formation of tumors for at least 25 types of cancer, including breast, pancreatic, lung, and colorectal, according to the New York Post.

The trial results, which involved 1,000 patients split evenly between those affected by cancer and those unaffected, were “radically successful,” according to Ashish Tripathi, the founder and CEO of Tzar Labs and chairman of Epigeneres Biotech. “Not only can I actually detect it at this stage — I can actually tell you which cancer and where it is forming, straight from a blood test,” Tripathi revealed in an interview with medical advocate Deepak Chopra.

Sometimes, we fail to believe what we see, as it shocks our consciousness. I’ll speak more about that specific phenomenon in a moment. This phenomenon is often reinforced by a cultural tendency in America to focus on the near-term, not strategic, and thereby miss the forest for the trees. That is to say; we can miss what’s happening right in front of us, that which we see with our eyes, but fail to fully absorb it as the context of the event shocks our system so greatly – we immediately shut down.

If we then consider the cultural tendency of Americans, to focus on the moment, and not think of, or view things, from a strategic perspective, we can be blinded not only to the moment, but to the broader events taking place before our eyes. We create a major potential vulnerability. A vulnerability, I contest, that our domestic and foreign enemies take advantage of.

Tucker Carlson opened his show on Tuesday with a discussion on the trans community and violence.

During his monologue, Tucker asserted that the transgender community is the mirror image of Christianity and the two groups are on a collision course.

We can change the identity we were born with. They will tell you with wild-eyed certainty Christians can never agree with this statement because these are powers they believe God alone possesses. That unwillingness to agree, that failure to acknowledge a trans person’s dominion over nature incites and enrages some in the trans community.

Minutes before opening fire at a Nashville school and killing six people, Audrey Hale sent a chilling "suicide note" to a friend on Instagram.

In the message, Hale, a 28-year-old transgender woman, informed her former middle school teammate, Averianna Patton, of her plan to end her life. According to Patton, Hale wrote, "So basically that post I made on here about you, that was basically a suicide note. I'm planning to die today. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!!" She then expressed her love for Patton and said she was leaving behind evidence of her plan.

Patton responded: “Audrey! You have so much more life to live. I pray God keeps and covers you.”

Hale continued the communication with Patton saying: “I know but I don’t want to live. I’m so sorry. I’m not trying to upset you or get attention. I just need to die. I wanted to tell you first because you are the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen and known all my life.”

She added: “My family doesn’t know what I’m about to do. One day this will make more sense. I’ve left more than enough evidence behind. But something bad is about to happen.”

A day after a gunman killed six people at a Christian elementary school in Nashville, Sen. Josh Hawley took to the Senate floor to denounce the shooting as a hate crime against Christians.

“We must also tell the truth about what happened yesterday in Nashville,” Hawley said. “This murderous rampage, this taking of innocent life, was a horrific crime, but more specifically, it was a hate crime. A crime that according to Nashville police, specifically targeted, that’s their word, targeted, the members of this Christian community, the members of this religious institution.”

The mass murder Monday morning by a gender-confused woman of three young children and three adults inside a Nashville Christian elementary school is shining a spotlight on transgender activist violence and extremism — and the "progressive" enablers who provide them cover.

As millions of Americans and people across the world watched the Nashville police body-cam video footage of gun-toting Audrey Hale, a "transgender"-identified woman, stalking her victims at The Covenant School before being shot dead by quickly pursing police, various media and special-interest groups chastised conservatives for focusing on the trans issue instead of gun-control and Republican "anti-LGBT" legislation that supposedly gave rise to the violence.

Ever since Joe Biden and his handlers decided to turn the Federal Bureau of Investigation into the American Stasi, we’ve been hearing that the real threat to America is coming from “right wing radicals” or some such nonsense. The FBI has been targeting soccer moms at school board meetings and pro-lifers who pray outside of abortion clinics.

A detransitioned teen is suing Kaiser Permanente hospital because doctors removed her breasts during her transgender procedure.

Layla Jane is an 18-year-old woman who began to identify as transgender at age 11. Jane, at the time, wanted to transition to a male. Initially, doctors at Kaiser denied her any transition hormones, saying she could take them after turning 16. However, doctors changed their minds, approved her request, and performed a double mastectomy when she was 13.

Jane wrote on Twitter, “Mind boggling to me that a doctor signed off on a double mastectomy for me before I took a sex ed course. I barely started 8th grade, I was 13.”

The UK financial system is in a period of “very heightened tension and alertness” for further turmoil in the banking sector, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey has said.

The UK banking system remains in “a strong position” but the central bank has to be “very vigilant,” Bailey told the Treasury Committee in the House of Commons on Tuesday.

The central bank chief faced questioned from MPs amid global jitters following the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) in the United States and the emergency rescue of Credit Suisse by Swiss authorities.

In a surprise announcement, UBS Group AG revealed that its previous head, Sergio Ermotti, will reassume the role of CEO next week to supervise the historic acquisition of Credit Suisse Group AG.

Ermotti, who previously ran UBS for nine years, will start on April 5 after the bank's annual meeting. He will succeed Ralph Hamers, who has agreed to step down. 

"The Board took the decision in light of the new challenges and priorities facing UBS after the announcement of the acquisition," UBS said. 

Peter Schiff appeared on NTD News to talk about the bank bailout and the March Federal Reserve meeting. During the conversation, Peter explained that everybody is going to pay for these bailouts because they will ultimately devalue the dollar as inflation skyrockets.

During his press conference after the March FOMC meeting, Jerome Powell said the banking system is “sound and resilient.” Peter said it’s not sound at all.
