Former President Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign is receiving a financial boost from a group of billionaires as he aims to narrow the fundraising gap with President Joe Biden.

Fox Business Network reports that billionaire Stephen Schwarzman, CEO and co-founder of Blackstone, announced on Friday that he will support former President Trump in the 2024 race. Schwarzman previously called for the Republican Party to turn to a “new generation of leaders.”

Worth an estimated $39 billion, Schwarzman said he shares many Americans’ concerns “that our economic, immigration and foreign policies are taking the country in the wrong direction” and added that the “dramatic rise of antisemitism has led me to focus on the consequences of upcoming elections with greater urgency.”

The Biden administration is trying to take away the freedoms of the American people Ric Grenell, former acting Director of National Intelligence in President Donald Trump's White House in 2020 warned Newsmax on Monday.

"On the day that we wake up remembering that freedom is not free and that some gave all so that we can have freedoms, I am getting to the point where I am moving into the 'pissed off' phase' at what is happening in our country, because our freedoms are being taken away," Grenell said on "Newsline."

The former U.S. ambassador to Germany stressed that "we have got an administration that is hell-bent on trying to lock up Donald Trump. This is not freedom. This is campaign and election manipulation," adding that "this is the type of thing that we call out in other countries."

A new Rasmussen survey finds that 70% of voters say politicians discuss racial issues just to be elected, and only 18% say most politicians raise racial issues to address real problems.

Twice as many voters (42%) say political candidates voice racial issues too much in their campaigns compared to 21% who say such issues are discussed too little. Twenty-nine percent say the level of discussion of racial issues in politics is about right.

More Republicans (82%) than Democrats (55%) or unaffiliated voters (74%) say most politicians raise racial concerns just to be elected. Fewer Democrats (22%) than Republicans (60%) or unaffiliated voters (46%) say political candidates discuss racial issues too much in their campaigns.

The Biden campaign on Tuesday morning staged a press conference outside of the Manhattan courtroom where closing arguments were set to begin in the business records trial of former President Donald Trump.

Speaking at the press conference were actor Robert DeNiro, and two former Capitol police officers on January 6, Harry Dunn — who is running for Congress, and Michael Fanone.

De Niro unleashed full Trump Derangement Syndrome, claiming that if Trump were elected, he would “never” leave office.

“If he gets in, I can tell you right now, he will never leave! He will never leave! You know that. He will never leave,” DeNiro said, claiming that Trump would make himself “dictator for life.”

“What does that mean? Is that the country we want to live in? Do we want him running this country and saying, ‘I’m not leaving, I’m dictator for life’?” he added.

“I hope this new ad campaign reaches outside the bubble to remind supporters of what a danger he is to our lives. This is not a threat, this is a reality,” he continued.

De Niro also referred to Trump supporters as “clowns” and “gangsters.”

Members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) are inching forward their support of Ukrainian strikes within Russia’s internationally recognized borders.

Current and former defense and diplomatic officials within NATO member nations have been deliberating for weeks on whether they should encourage the Ukrainian government to use NATO-donated weapons in cross-border strikes into Russia, particularly as Russian forces have launched a new offensive in the Kharkiv border region in eastern Ukraine.

The idea of encouraging Ukrainian strikes in Russia with Western-donated weapons has led to some concerns about further escalating the existing conflict.

Federal Judge Aileen Cannon on Tuesday denied Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith’s request to impose a gag order against former President Donald Trump in his federal classified documents case.

She said that Smith's request was “wholly lacking in substance and professional courtesy.”

Cannon warned Smith that "failure to comply" with the requirements she has outlined for "non-emergency motions" could result in sanctions.

Trump is already under a gage order in another criminal trial, the ongoing one in a Manhattan courtroom in which he faces 34 counts related to allegedly trying in 2016 to falsify business documents for a hush money payment to porn start Stormy Daniels for alleged sexual encounter about 11 years earlier, to prevent the matter from interfering with his ultimately successful bid to become president.

The World Health Organization’s proposed International Health Regulations (IHR) and Pandemic Agreement crashed and burned last week amid disagreements between member countries.

“This is not a failure,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Monday in his opening remarks at the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. “Failure does not stop us,  should not stop us,” he added.

Nation states are convening at the WHO assembly from May 27 to June 1 to discuss ideas to improve global readiness for future pandemics like COVID-19.

Donald Trump’s defense lawyer asked a Manhattan jury not to convict his client based on the words of Michael Cohen as closing arguments commenced Tuesday at the former president’s hush money trial.

“You should want and expect more than the testimony of Michael Cohen,” Todd Blanche said as he began his summation, rattling off other witnesses who took the stand against his client, including adult film star Stormy Daniels and her former attorney Keith Davidson, who he then accused of extortion.

“You cannot convict President Trump — you cannot convict President Trump of any crime … on the words of Michael Cohen,” Blanche said.

“President Trump is innocent. He did not commit any crimes, and the DA has not met their burden of proof. Period.”
