"A government that neither trusts nor respects its own people cannot trust or respect other nations. What is the domestic policy of enslavement today must be the foreign policy of conquest tomorrow." -- Michael Rivero

The last week of November is setting up to be a pivotal week in Ukraine’s futile effort to fend off the Russian military. Russia is clobbering Kiev and other parts of western Ukraine with drone hordes that are wreaking havoc on military depots and electric power nodes. In Kiev, the rift between President Zelensky and General Zaluzhny is widening, with rumors swirling that Zelensky will order a full mobilization of Ukraine that will draft 17 to 70 year old civilians, including women.

To make matters worse General Winter has arrived in full force, lashing Ukraine (and Russia) with winds of more than 90 mph and mountains of snow.

The Trump legal team has filed several responses to U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan, urging her to dismiss the Justice Department’s (DOJ) prosecution of former President Donald Trump. They argue that the Biden administration targeted Trump selectively and vindictively while abusing its statutory authority and violating multiple constitutional protections. The filings are the most recent in a long line of pre-trial submissions advanced by Trump’s legal team to dismiss the lawsuit.

The filings focus on constitutional provisions relating to double jeopardy, free speech, and due process, as well as purported evidence of selective prosecution directed by President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee and President Trump’s main rival for the White House in 2024. The DOJ defended its indictment, claiming that President Trump’s legal team misunderstood their charge, which targeted allegedly false and misleading speech not protected by the First Amendment.

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) is fed up with the lack of response by the Biden administration against Iran after their continued attacks against American troops and military equipment, calling on Sunday for a "massive retaliation" that will bring it to an end. Cotton has labeled the Biden admin as "fearful" due to their continued lack of action over the growing issue.

The Arkansas senator calls out Biden and his incompetence by giving numerous examples on Fox News, such as putting pressure on Israel behind the scenes to assist those in Gaza with resources that could be used against the Israeli government while putting no pressure on Hamas to release American hostages. Even other Democrats have called out Biden's weak responses, with Representative Dean Phillips (D-MN) questioning why no special forces have been used to retrieve Americans held hostage.

The Colorado Supreme Court has agreed to hear an appeal of a lower court’s ruling in favor of keeping former President Donald Trump on the state’s ballot next year.

The state high court’s decision comes after Judge Sarah B. Wallace ruled earlier this month that Trump was guilty of engaging in an insurrection but found that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which forbids anyone who engaged in such activity from running for office, does not specifically name the presidency.

“Part of the Court’s decision is its reluctance to embrace an interpretation which would disqualify a presidential candidate without a clear, unmistakable indication that such is the intent of Section Three,” the judge wrote.

Mediator Qatar said on Monday a truce between Israeli and Hamas forces in Gaza had been extended by two days, continuing a pause in seven weeks of warfare that has killed thousands and laid waste to the Palestinian enclave.

"An agreement has been reached to extend the humanitarian pause for an additional two days in the Gaza Strip," a Qatari foreign ministry spokesperson said in a post on social media platform X.

There was no immediate comment from Israel, but a White House official confirmed agreement had been reached.

The release of 11 Israeli hostages and 33 Palestinians under the original ceasefire agreement, which had been due to end on Monday night, was expected soon.

The United Nations chief hailed Monday's two-day extension of a truce between Israel and Hamas in Gaza as a "glimpse of hope."

"It's a glimpse of hope and humanity in the middle of the darkness of war and I strongly hope that these will enable us to increase even more the humanitarian aid to the people in Gaza that is suffering so much," Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said. Without more time, "it will be impossible to satisfy all the dramatic needs of the population in Gaza."

Blue state residents, whose governments have adopted aggressive climate policies, are paying much more for electricity and fuel than their counterparts who live in red states that lack such policies, according to a new report from America's largest membership organization of state legislators.

The report from the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), provides a breakdown of energy prices throughout the United States while demonstrating the relationship between big government policies and high energy costs.

"While some states rely on free market principles and innovation to limit manmade emissions into the atmosphere, others use a more heavy-handed approach by implementing of standards, enacting mandates and pricing schemes that benefit specific types of technologies," the report reads.

"Whether it is mandates, subsidies, or some combination of both, when the government inserts itself into the energy markets, taxpayers wind up footing the bill."

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee told Newsmax on Friday that the American people "aren't buying" the rosy outlook President Joe Biden is trying to highlight.

"If you look at Biden's [poll] numbers, you know the people aren't buying what he's selling," Huckabee said on "Greg Kelly Reports." "He's got the lowest approval numbers [36%] of a president, probably ever, especially for an incumbent heading into an election year.

"And the fact is, he doesn't deserve those numbers of less than 40%. People recognize that the country is not on the right track. Over 70% of the country says we're on the wrong track."

Newsguard claims to be a non-partisan fact-checking organization.
But a quick glance at its operations and related social media accounts shows the group is an unhinged group of committed Trump-haters.

Newsguard is a media “fact-checking” company that was started in 2018.  They claim to rate websites for reliability.  Basically, they’re in the business of deciding who is fake news and who is not.  And they HATE pro-Trump publishers and citizen journalists.  They also hate the truth. The company is supported by Trump-haters, elites and media giants – AND earlier this year we discovered the US government was also financially supporting this far-left blacklisting group.

There is ample proof the activists behind Newsguard are unhinged leftists and anti-Trumpers.

Our friends at the conservative website 100percentfedup previously shared information with The Gateway Pundit that exposes the Newsguard liberal activists.

Is it time to declare the Disney brand dead?  Only a couple weeks ago the entertainment giant suffered one of its worst box office showings ever with the failure of The Marvels, a feminist driven girl-boss movie which was widely applauded by social justice advocates but ignored by the vast majority of the public.  The film is expected to lose $200 million to $300 million once receipts are totaled and marketing costs are accounted for.

In a bizarre attempt at maximum cope, the media is hailing The Marvels as the largest ever theatrical opening by a black female director.  When, in fact, the movie is actually the largest box office bomb made by a black female director.

Now, Disney's animated 'The Wish' is set to top that failure, falling well below box office predictions and bringing in only $32 million over a five day period including the once lucrative Thanksgiving weekend.

Numerous reports suggest that Wish is opening to empty theaters across the country.  Media spin doctors have attempted to jump ahead of “get woke, go broke” accusations with articles claiming that the movie is not woke, but more “Libertarian” in its messaging.  This is, for the most part, a dishonest deflection.  The film's producers openly admitted their woke methodology in a number of interviews including their desire to inject Diversity and Inclusion messaging.

While the woke intent is more obscure than previous films, Wish features yet another precocious ethnic teen female (named Asha) banding together with her diverse cast of friends to fight a revolution against the white male patriarchy.

In what some are viewing as yet another blow to former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s power and influence in the chamber, a close ally of hers and fellow California Democrat has announced she will be retiring after her current term expires in January 2025.

Rep. Anna Eshoo, whose district included Silicon Valley, at 80, is calling it quits after spending the better part of the past three decades in Washington, D.C.

“As the first woman and the first Democrat to ever represent our district, I’m very proud of the body of bipartisan work I’ve been able to achieve on your behalf in Congress,” Eshoo said in a video she posted to social media. “As my last year in Congress approaches, I will continue my work with vigor and unswerving commitment to you.”

In a post on the X platform, Eshoo also touted a breakfast she had with Pelosi for members of Congress at a California event, as her exit — and Pelosi’s, at some point in the near future, most likely — represents another step toward irrelevancy within the Democratic Party as a newer, more left-wing faction, takes over.

Donald Trump's company no longer prepares the sweeping financial statements that New York state contends were full of deceptive numbers for years, an executive testified Monday at the former president's civil fraud trial.

Trump's 2014 to 2021 “statements of financial condition” are at the heart of state Attorney General Letitia James' lawsuit against him and his company and some of its key figures. The defendants deny wrongdoing, but James says they misled lenders and insurers by giving them financial statements that greatly inflated the value of Trump's assets and overall net worth.

Nowadays, the Trump Organization continues to prepare various audits and other financial reports specific to some of its components, but “there is no roll-up financial statement of the company," said Mark Hawthorn, the chief operating officer of the Trump Organization’s hotel arm.

He wasn't asked why the comprehensive reports were no longer prepared, but said they are “not required by any lender, currently, or any constituency.”

Many voters are questioning the integrity of electronic voting machines after an obscure race for parish sheriff in northwest Louisiana led to a seemingly improbable result. The Democratic candidate, Henry Whitehorn (D), received 21,621 votes and the Republican candidate, John Nickleson (R), got 21,620. John Nickelson, the Republican candidate, announced on social media that he has requested a recount. The Associated Press reported on the race, highlighting Louisiana’s outdated voting machines and their lack of an auditable paper trail, which experts say is critical to ensuring election results are accurate.

During the recount on Monday, only absentee ballots will be counted again and checked for irregularities. Absentee ballots are mailed in and are the only paper trail available under Louisiana’s current voting system. In the case of paperless in-person voting, a recount would be equivalent to pushing the refresh button. David Becker, a former attorney in the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division who works with election officials through the nonprofit Center for Election Innovation & Research, claimed that a recount of a paperless vote is essentially the equivalent of hitting the button again.
